Reviews of Sally Clarke's shop
I stopped at Sally Clarke for a recharging flat white after strolling around Portobello road. I had the most wonderful experience. Staff was extremely polite, service spotless and my flat white a pleasure! This place has been added to my list of "best coffee places" in London! 👌🏻💞 I look forward to my second visit - which will definitely include some artisan pastries! Recommended!
Fabulous Baker amazing macaroons wonderful temptingcakes
The best barkery shop in the whole Notting Hill area.
Simply the best carrot cake ever. And I have been trying carrot cakes from all over the world (as far as Taupo, New Zealand).
This is simply the best hands down.
The pricing point is a little off for what they have I know the quality of products it's even the best. Competition from places like bread ahead one oree is showing that this place is only really doing well on location. They have managed to up the game with staff and service which is a huge improvement since my last visit. I still think they need to look more to what people cannot make at home compared to what they can.
Food is tasty and fresh with unique twists. Staff have always been friendly to me! Love the almond croissants and apple pie
BRILLIANT!!
The staff are very intentive. Perfectly trained. And the quality of the products is fantastic.
Best coffee I've ever had.
Highly recommend.
Had a delicious flat white today, creamy and strong, it tasted so good!
Friendly service, great coffee, outstanding savoury and sweet options. The savoury tarts were perfect for a festive lunch.
Delicious coffee, outstanding service and sitting area outside! A true gem!
Bought some lovely jam for my mother. She adored the packaging, and the traditional glass jar. I will return in a few months time to get some more.
A really nice small shop / bakery! Where croissants really taste croissant from France! The staff was nice and friendly. Recommended!
Excellent pastry, cakes, and bread quality products at a fabulous price

Top notch but pricy .
Lovely to go in and see what tempts
Great atmosphere and even greater food!
Lovely chicken pie, salads, tarts and biscuits.
Delicious quiche, pastries and chicken pies.
Top staff great products
One of the BEST ... why such negative reviews
lovely
Great upmarket bakery
Outside the decorations are fabulous and lots of scrumptious morsels. Missing unfortunately is an indoor eating area — there are tables outside but very few. The pastries are also a little sparse — not as much choice as I might have expected. But maybe I am used to France where I live. Coffees are great and staff friendly.
The chicken pie is perfection.
The chicken pie was immense
Expensive but excellent
Awesome Drinks

🍞There are a lot of people queuing up at several bakeries near Notting Hill on weekends. This cute little bakery has a wide variety of breads, as well as some peripheral products, and its canvas bags are also very practical!
☕️Latte, the milk taste is very mellow, and the serving size is very large, so you will feel a little full after drinking it.
🌟Danish’s Pear and Almond flavored breads are very thick, the fragrance of pear is not overly sweet at all, and the delicious almond flavor, I like it very much!
Very cute shop in the Notting Hill area where you can find lots of sweets and delicacies to try.
Cute high-end deli
It's a nice restaurant, expensive but delicious.
Customers come to the store one after another. We are limiting the number of people allowed in the store, so you can shop safely.
We had the popular carrot cake and chocolate cake. Both were rich and delicious!
Excellent, good coffee and excellent desserts and good, kind and knowledgeable staff, I recommend it
(Translated) Wonderful scones and courteous service! Next to the Churchill Arms pub

Nice boutique shop on a quiet street with outdoor seating. Lovely shortbread cookies and delicious coffee!
The Sally Clarke shop far exceeded my expectations. She is a perfectionist in everything she does. She is delightful and possesses a smile that would melt the abominable snowman. Plus, the croissants are to die for!
Sally Clarke is about quality, seasonal products and friendly service amazing experience at the shop and eating at Sally's restaurant is always a treat!
I'm a regular customer for 3 years now. Very friendly staff, great Galette des Rois every year in January, good bread and desserts. I also miss the canelés, perfectly cooked. But there is one thing I do not understand : the "pain au chocolat", and the "croissant". They are is officially the worst I've ever had in my entire life. They never make it good. Every time it is old, dry, never fresh, and hard to bite it. Maybe it is good when it's just out of the oven. But a pain au choc or a croissant should never be served the day after it is made. I come from a small town in France, and even the worst bakery can nail a croissant or a pain au chocolat.
Please serve fresh ones, not after 24 ou 48 hours, please.
I keep dreaming one day they'll make it and serve it the way it's supposed to taste and feel in mouth. Kindest Regards.
Loved it. Delicious coffee, lovely pastries and delightful staff.
A lovely coffee shop on a quiet London street. Could only sit outside due to restrictions, but luckily it was sunny and I enjoyed a delicious almond croissant and cappuccino.
