Very very fresh and authentic Italian food being served. The pizza in particular is thin yet juicy, and bursting with flavour; just like those I've tried in Italy! Amazing and will certainly visit again!

Came for an after work dinner, with my friend and we indulged and had the best time. They gave us a lovely window seat as requested and we enjoyed the atmosphere, cocktails, all food and the service. A really nice team. So glad that they are local to me 💗

We went here for a last minute New Years Eve dinner as we often get their pizza to take-away and wanted to try the restaurant. It definitely did not disappoint, the food was delicious, the service was great and the cocktails were divine!!! We'll be back :)

First time at this location. Was welcomed with a smile and a choice of indoor or outdoor dining. The food overall was very nice and filling. The Avocado Prawn had a good avocado to prawn and salad ratio but felt that the Avocado needed a bit of salt or season to compliment the prawns. The Pizza was amazing, correct amount of toppings, had a lot of flavour but not overpowering and the dough was cooked just right, no real flaws at all. Only downside is that I felt that the Black truffle Ravioli had a bit too much oil in the bowl. The staff were polite and accommodating and what I liked is that the actually let you enjoy your food instead of constantly asking if you enjoy it Good value for money. 2 mains and 2 starters for just over £50 I definitely will go again. Do recommend

We went to Sapore Vero for lunch last Saturday after work, friendly staff and I had one of the best “Margherita with provola” . Well done Francesco, great pizza maker. 5 stars! we will be back soon again. Marcello

Fantastic Italian restaurant! The pizzas are delicious, I highly recommend the 4 Cheese one with Walnuts and Mushrooms. The antipasti board was also great and even my picky son managed to enjoy the food.

Our favourite place to go for any occasion whether it is a birthday or a date or just because! All the staff are so lovely and accommodating and the food is incredible! It is such a cosy atmosphere. We look forward to visiting every time and there are so many delicious vegetarian options. Other than the delicious pizzas, we love the black truffle ravioli. The portions are very generous… but we always find the space for dessert! I always get the afogato when it is on as a special, and we love the cannolis too. The beer and cocktails are lovely. So reasonably priced, our absolute favourite place to go! Always look out for the specials on offer too!

Wonderful. Excellent service, amazing authentic Italian food. The melanzane parmigiana was the best I've ever eaten, and the Penne arabiata sublime. Thank god, a decent local restaurant. Hurrah!

Never been a big fan of pizza in spite of going to some of the best pizza restaurants in London and overseas. I've been a local to Hither Green for twenty years and when I saw the new restaurant on the corner it is always busy and looks very inviting plus I'd heard great things from friends. Went there recently on a Tuesday night with my American wife and a friend. We ordered a pizza each and shared the three between us. Absolutely loved the food and couldn't wait to go back again. Been telling all my clients to go there as the pizza was great but there was one downside. The waitress put the bill on the table without us asking for it. After a few minutes we promptly asked to pay the bill then left. I put it down to that maybe they would be closing soon or they needed the table for some late diners as we hadn't booked. Went there again a month later with my wife and the same friend, again we just turned up with out booking a table. After we had finished eating they asked if we wanted a dessert which we declined then the waiter came back and put the bill on the table like the first time without us asking for it. We carried on talking for a few minutes then the waiter came back with the PDQ machine for us to pay with out us asking. We paid the bill then left immediately. My wife being American is just not used to this. As we left she said "I don't feel welcome here". I have since stopped telling people to go there as this has marred our experience of what is a great pizza! For me putting the bill on the table is the rudest gesture a waiter could do, far beyond bad service or any other kind of rudeness. Again I thought maybe they needed the table but there were empty tables as we left, a father and son that were there when we arrive we're still there when we left plus there were other empty table too. The pizza is great but I'm very reluctant to go back so only giving three stars due to this. I might go back in a few months but if it happens a third time it's a problem!

Absolutely fantastic pizza. We ordered a mixed starter platter with some foccacia which was ample and tasty, followed by a superb parma pizza. The crust was charred, but soft and chewy inside. The pizza toppings were well distributed and fresh. I had an affogato for dessert which was also delicious, and to top it all off the service is absolutely fantastic. Also had a lovely bottle of red wine. If you want pizza and you're in South East, go to Sapore Vero.

Amazing gluten free pizza! I ordered a delivery, and had to call the restaurant to double-check they'd provided the gluten free base as ordered, because I couldn't believe how good it was (they were very friendly when I called them too, despite the fact I was essentially asking if they'd accidentally poisoned me). My extra topping requests had been followed (I'd asked for black olives and artichoke to be added to my speck and gorgonzola pizza) and the wine arrived chilled. The pizza was perfect: beautifully fresh toppings in exactly the right proportions, with a lovely fresh-tasting tomato sauce. I was planning to save half the pizza for tomorrow, but that's not going to happen. I will be returning and would highly recommend.

A beautiful cute local delight suited perfectly to Hither Green. With a hip and modern ‘raw’ decor it still manages to feel really welcoming. I very unusually felt comfortable dining alone, a great measure of how warm and welcoming the staff and venue is. With a full drinks menu and the locally loved ‘non chain’ pizza menu this place is a gem. Plus the wood fired over looks like a giant glitter ball. Excellent pizza, so lucky to have on my doorstep, the closest to me is also the best in the area. Their outdoor sitting area is nice & with the pub across the way and the Ark nearby, it has brought a great feel to Staplehurst road, making it feel more homely and fun. My wife and my two small children really enjoyed our dining experience tonight. The staff were lovely and engaged with the kids. The only criticism I have is that there was no option to tip on the card machine as I didn't have any cash so couldn't leave a little thank you

Absolutely lovely 'vibe' inside and the outside has made the HG area look very charming once you get off the train. However, every time we go the pizza toppings are so wet, they make the base incredibly sloppy and slide off themselves. Also, the service when sitting outside was below average (not terrible, but very slow) - and the prices are astonishing given the fact that its in Hither Green! I am not against paying for the best, but this is not it!

Absolutely love this place - food is consistently good, service is brilliant, the cocktails are amazing. Their Sapore Vero pizza is delicious, as is their ravioli and their tiramisu. Sitting in at the restaurant is lovely, they also do delivery - not the full menu on delivery but still a huge amount of choice (we had a cheese board with honey delivered from here once). We went for in dinner last night, and it was excellent. We've been prior to lockdown, but I think they've expanded their menu now. The food was all full of flavour and very fresh, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The wine was good too (we chose a Chianti). They also do cocktails, which are also very well made. Top tip, if you sit outside, try to get a table that is covered by the awnings...there are pigeons on the guttering above, and they are not afraid to poop on you mid-meal (actual thing that happened to me). Bit of a mood killer. The woman serving us was super friendly, and attentive etc. ***You need to take some cash to tip the staff***, as for some crazy reason, the restaurant won't allow it through the card machine. Which with fewer people carrying cash, I think this is not great for the staff actually. This was the only downside to last nights meal (that and being pooped on by a pigeon).

Ate here recently on the eat out to help out scheme. The pizza and other starter we had was delicious, really really good pizza. Unfortunately, the service was not great and let the experience down a bit. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t terrible service but they were quite slow and the older male service seemed fairly uninterested. We had to wait maybe 40 minutes between starter and main too. Saying this, I would still go back for the pizza.
