I have been going to this fish and chip shop for donkeys years. The staff are very friendly and are always happy to give you the best service. The fish and chips are amazing and very generalist portions. I find it very difficult to grasp comments such as small portions as over many years of coming to this fish shop I have never encountered a problem. I would highly recommend.

If you want good old fashioned fish and chips you don't have to look further than the Saucy Kipper, good quality fayre. I have to say I do like their Chicken Platter, fat chips, solid piece of breast on the bone with proper salad all for £2.80 (current pricing). If you're looking for an authentic chippy then you can't go wrong at all.

Literally been going here since I was a kid I'm now 25 and though prices are a little high it's worth every penny a lot of the time, the owner is a lovely person and he is pretty much the godfather of Roman Road, I don't really eat takeaways anymore but when I do I always find myself going in here for a chat and to treat myself to chips. Lovely people in this place I would highly recommend.
