Reviews of Seabird

Superb experience! From the welcome to the table that's a lot going on here! The oysters selection is beautifully thought. The starters and main simply joy for the palate!
Great wine list with a few natural wines to opt for!
Terrific view, great service (Michael at the door made my day). Super relaxed situation!
Been here with a friend to celebrate her taking over my role at the previous job. Gotta go back with my wife 100%!!!
Thanks to the team for the marvelous experience!

Nice Spanish fusion restaurant. The octopus Rolls was delicious but apart from this one I think nothing else was particularly impressed for the price you pay. Service was nice and friendly. Superb views
e.
On the 14th floor of The Hoxton, Southwark.
Absolutely amazing view of London city. Had a great view of The Shard from my table. Interior was beautifully decorated. Staff was kind, helpful and friendly. Mainly seafood items on the menu- known for oysters. Go for a visit if you love seafood. Or just to enjoy the view and have some cocktails. Outdoor seating available as well. Would definitely return.

Had a great evening. All the staff were friendly from the moment you walk into the hotel and you leave the hotel. Our waiter Antonio was excellent.
He made some great recommendations which went down very well. We were lucky to have a table outside and at sunset the view of London was nice.
The food oh wow. We enjoyed every dish we ordered and this is place I must return too.

Absolutely amazing - great service, delicious oysters ! Would definitely recommend. Go and you won’t regret it!
Stunning views and the decor is gorgeous.

Instagrammable restaurant that looks exactly the same as the Instagram pics. 😍
I solo ate here and had the best time. When you walk in, it's the end lift on the left and there is only one button to go straight up to floor 14. When you walk in, it feels like you're abroad! It's a new world. The aesthetics are beautiful. Top tier interior. So well designed and put together. The views are...just ...wow. You get a full Panoramic (nearly) view of London and can see many staple landmarks i.e the Shard. The food is well presented, and tasty and the service was also first class. I'm soooo impressed with this place, and would like to come back in Summer, but the colder months still work to go to this Rooftop venue.
Smart casual vibes, and there were a mix of work people, couples, families. It's a great place to eat. My bill came to approx £50/60.

You will be blown away by the stunning views of London, spotting the Shard and St Paul's. The decor has a Mediterranean feel to it, although slightly dated and perhaps too pretentious for a rooftop bar on the 14th floor, I would say. The service was great, we were shown to the table and looked after throughout the meal. The food...We had tuna ceviche and raw scallops - beautifully presented and exquisite in taste. The main...Prawn Rice dish was a bit of a let down I must admit. Red mullet and prawns were cooked to perfection although the rice itself tasted rather bland albeit soft and buttery. It really needed a bit of vavavoom to compliment the delicate red mullet and prawns. The biggest disappointment was the portion itself, which clearly wasn't enough for two to share, even for the two skinny girls like us. I should have expected this as it was only £24 for the dish. The cheesecake was tasty, and that's just it. It lacked presentation and the last bite tasted slightly stale. So I was a tad disappointed but overall, it did make a special day out. The views and the service are the top notch. Thank you, Seabird.

Nice restaurant but over priced for what it is. Service was patchy but we did have a great waitress. The atmosphere was good but felt a bit too party and generally more and more disorganized as the night went on. Quite a few smashed people needing help down the back stairs.
I wouldn't go again.
V.
Excellent place. The staff are so friendly and very nice. Great view and beautiful deco. The oysters were really nice and fresh, the food was flavourful. The prawn croquetas, fried baby squid, octopus roll and pan con tomate were sooo good. And their dessert was nice, their cheesecake and sorbet were good too. I would recommend and definitely come back.
*Updated review: I came back and still very pleased. Amazing service and the quality of food is good. I can't wait to come back again.

Lovely fish/seafood restaurant on The Rooftop at The Hoxton Hotel, Southwark.
The staff are wonderful; from the ground floor reception before the elevator, to the welcome upon exiting the elevator, and throughout service.
Booked for late lunch / early dinner but didn’t try the ‘Oyster Happy Hour’, although other’s dishes looked amazing. Had the prawn rice with red mullet (like a risotto) and grilled half-lobster. Both great quality and well cooked/seasoned. Service was attentive and friendly throughout.
Instagram-worthy views of The Shard etc. (if that’s your thing). Lovely ambiance. Highly recommended.
J. S.
Big fan of this restaurant. I have recommended it to alot of friends and clients who also have had a great time here.
The terrace is the perfect spot for a summers lunch.
S.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent. The staff were ever so friendly and helpful.
The London skyline views were stunning. We were lucky with the weather and got the opportunity to sit outside.
I can't recommend it enough to anyone who loves seafood.

Absolute CLASS. A new fave London restaurant for me. Top service, faultless food. Beautiful interiors and views (food account: @diningnotdashing)

Pretty much everything as Seabird has been thought out. From the lighting to the great acoustics to the spacing of the tables. The staff are personable but not over the top. The food is pricy (small plates!) but there are a couple of bigger sharing dishes like the seafood rice. It really is a beautiful restaurant and very well done.
M.
This restaurant has an amazing vibe with unique attentive & energetic staff. Ambiance full of character and good food -just Perfect.
When we arrived we were greeted by name as if being welcomed back which made us feel very much welcomed
The views are amazing, splendid decor which gave me Caribbean vibes! Stella getting her groove back!
We ordered oysters to start tasty & refreshing! Never had them so fresh and nice.
We had the triple cooked chips with prawn croquettes as side starters and for our main we opted for the lobster and seafood rice. All absolutely delicious!
For drinks we started with a glass of bubbles then moved on to cocktails!🍹 their selection are few but potent! You have been warned.
The additional touch taking notice of my birthday celebration by sending me a birthday dessert with a candle was too cute and I was super appreciative well done Seabird, well done staff! You helped made my day.

We had two servers, one has glasses and he was great. Then we got swapped another server who was not so nice. We are all pregnant ladies trying to enjoy our lunch, the 2nd guy was just odd. He came over and asked us if we wanted desserts, one of us asked, “can we get the menu?” He responds, “how did you get the menu the first time? It’s the same way..” We decided to skip dessert then. Then we wanted the bill but couldn’t flag him down at all. Then our first waiter with the glasses comes by and saves us yet again. However after we paid and got up to put our coats and bag on about to walk off, the 2nd waiter comes back and goes, “do you want to pay?” Literally stopped us from walking away. We said we paid already. He goes, “oh, thought you will pay through me..” Does it make a difference? Everything was fine but this odd waiter made our experience off 2 stars.. Ps the food was good! Small portions for the price but paying for ambiance mostly!
M. I.
Seabird was exquisite. A huge shout out to Michael who made the experience especially magnificent. Their service was quick, efficient and professional. All the staff looked really content and that contributed to the overall vibe of the restaurant. The views are magnificent...literally took my breath away at first! Had an incredible celebration for my friend and the team gave us a lovely treat as a result. Very memorable! Thanks Seabird...I'll be making sure to return!!

IF YOU LOVE SEAFOOD, YOU NEED TO COME HERE! 🦞🐙🦀🍤🦐
• Staff 10/10 - Staff was super attentive and friendly, exactly what to expect when entering this stunning rooftop venue
• Starters: We had Padron Peppers (9/10), Octopus Roll (8/10) and the Prawn Croquettes (9/10) as well as an assortment of Oysters
• Mains: We ordered the super delicious Seafood Rice and you are absolutely in for a treat! The flavours are rich and tastes like the ocean 🦀🐙🦞🦐🍤
• Dessert: Don‘t remember the name but oh lord was it delicious!!!
• Location (10/10) - I‘m a big fan of The Hoxton Hotels and was not disappointed when I stepped into this beautiful rooftop location reminding me of a holiday in Tulum.
N. M.
Gorgeous venue with amazing view over London. Fairly expensive but good quality seafood. Recommend the oysters or mackerel
D. W.
Absolutely amazing hotel! The experience was perfect, with beautiful views and incredibly warm staff. They all go above and beyond to make sure your visit is everything you expect. I can't wait to return!
U. T.
Such a beautiful restaurant with a great view. This was booked as a birthday celebration in the evening. We sat out the terrace and had some lovely cocktails. Amazing staff very accommodating and made sure that we were warm as it was a chilly night. Great service from all staff and we definitely want to visit again, maybe this time for the dinner.

Amazing picturesque scenery especially on a sunny day. Can be very windy during autumn/winter, make sure you are wrapped up. Despite the heater on the terrace you’ll forget about how you’ll feel by the breathtaking views. Seriously go for it. Dive in and enjoy walking around the terrace. Good for video and drone shots, highly recommended.
G. S.
Beautiful restaurant with view! However, the food was mediocre, especially the lobster, and the best thing we ordered was the leeks. Would recommend going for the happy hour only.
N. P.
Lovely venue ambience and generally delicious food. I recommend the seafood rice, prawn croquettes, the dessert brioche and cheese cake. Fried squid was average in comparison. Service was unattentive and slow. Wear something warm as it can be windy on the terrace.
O. G.
Beautiful restaurant, nice and delicious dishes. But the most spectacular was the dessert. Is a must!! I really appreciate the "Happy anniversary " chocolate plate. It was so nice. Not to expensive based on the l
Restaurant level but also not cheap. I will attached a photo to see what we had. Is really hard to get a reservation on weekends. But 4 stars because we had to enjoy all that in 2 hours. Paying 150 for 2 pers ... is not the best thing for the anniversary
R. A.
The restaurant is on the roof top of The huxton hotel , we waited 30 minutes fir tte table , yet the food was superb!
For appetizers we had the octopus rolls and they were delicious call mom we had the tuna ceviche ( I would say was average, needs more dressing/sauce)
The sea food rice was excellent, the grilled whole sea bass was amazing with side Chimichurri sauce & Fries .
We sat outside , well heated & they even provided blankets for those who wanted .
Highly recommended!
G. S.
Amazing outdoor space for drinks with greats views. Drinks are really nice as well.
Will come back for food next time
H. C.
Highly recommend Seabird for the cocktails, the food, the location and the staff. We started by having dinner inside with a view on the Shard and ended the evening with deserts and cocktails on the terrasse.
D. Š.
Great food, drinks, atmosphere, interior design and staff. Vegan options available as small plates and sides.
C. B.
I am a fan of this restaurant. We went there for a special occasion and it was a good call. Friendly attentive service, great setting and good seafood menu. These guys love their oysters, they had a special oyster menu with about 8 different oyster options!
C. F.
One of the best locations I ever had food. Went there for my girlfriend's birthday and they stunned us with the view, the atmosphere and the food! Worth every penny. Will definetly come back!
If there was one thing to criticise, than that they delivered 2 birthday cakes to the table next to us but seem to have forgotten about ours. I guess it was just a misunderstanding and not a big thing. They made it up with their excellent service and kindness.

I visited SEABIRD last month! It’s been on my ‘to visit’ list for a WHILE…made the reservation way back in Feb lockdown so was really looking forward to going.
Overall, a SUPER LUSH rooftop bar/restaurant, beautiful interior and atmosphere — sadly the service on the day was a bit ‘meh’ (until a popular chef walked in whom they were super attentive too *sips tea* BUT I AINT GONNA HOLD EM’ TO THAT 🙃) I’d still totally go back for cocktails and a small nibble (not really for dinner) to enjoy the interior at the bar or city views outside on the rooftop.
Such a beautiful spot.
h.
I went here for a late lunch with a friend and the 14th floor view was a grand first impression! The staff were lovely - attentive but not intrusive. Óir waitress Reagan(?) was great and recommended a couple cocktails to start. We had the Catch of the Day cocktail which was so refreshing and a good choice just before eating (also the Olive it comes with was the best Olive i ever had!!) The Pelican cocktail was nice too though I recommend Catch of the Day more. We had the túna tartare which was to die for. The octopus brioche was new and the meat was so delicious! My friend had the leeks which I didn't try but which were a colourful delight for the eyes! It's not the cheapest place you'll eat at though if you like oysters they do an oyster happy hour;)) the ambience was chill and perfect for catching up with a loved one :)
K. F.
Went there for a birthday celebration. There were a few minor flaws (things happen and that is okay). However the staff were very helpful and warm welcoming and they tried their best in making sure the best dining experience for us! Thank you for your service. Food is nice and the desserts are amazing!
N. L. C.
If you are looking for somewhere with a view and instagrammable this is absolutely the place for you. Initially good welcome from ground floor reception and lift to the 14th floor a bit exciting. Friend was asked to put on a mask in quite a hostile way from lift to outside terrace (the distance of around 5 metres) which wasn’t a great welcome and seemed a bit perverse to the recently changed Covid guidance. Views are nice but tables a bit squashed together so didn’t really feel too exclusive. I had big hopes for the food being befitting of the pricing point but none of the dishes stood out as spectacular. On the plus side some of the service staff were excellent , particularly one staff member who returned the bill quickly and courteously when I was looking to make a speedy getaway who also had great and fun manner. The staff member when collecting the finished plates enquired as to our experience and seemed hugely disinterested in the feedback I gave despite being the one who initiated in asking if we enjoyed the food. Seemed a bit transactional to ask for feedback then disregard the feedback I had on the fried squid being too encased in batter. Owing to my Scottish heritage, I felt well qualified to pass comment on fried food, and there was definitely more fried content to the squid than actual squid and fed this back accordingly. Toilets darker than a nightclub in hell. Had to use iPhone torch to see-and was a bit of an expedition to get to-think Duke of Edinburgh minus the tents.
B.
The atmosphere is fabulous, although you're certainly paying good money for it. The indoor section is beautiful and although the outdoor section feels a bit bland by day (there aren't many notable landmarks to look at in the area) it's very cosy and beautifully lit after sunset. They provided heaters and blankets as well.
The oyster list is pretty broad, we ordered one of each type and the waiter gave an excellent overview and tasting notes for each. We also ordered a selection of small plates. Everything was tasty, but the value varied, as some were a tiny single portion and others a big portion well set up for sharing. A great first trip out post lockdown and I'd certainly visit again for a special occasion.
S. L.
Wasn’t expecting how much fun it was going to be. But we were greeted warmly by an over the top, super lovely gentleman and he does set the tone of the restaurant. Great view, seafood and cocktails and service which does come at a price
A. K.
Gorgeous scenery and staff, didn’t rate the food for the prices that were charged but would go back for the views alone!
B. F.
Visited for a couple of drinks and a small bite to eat before dinner as part of my girlfriend's birthday. Front of house was super friendly on our arrival and setting was beautiful. Would love to visit during the summer as we couldn't sit outside as originally planned and the views were a bit miserable due to rain earlier in the day. We ordered a bottle of the vino verde and the prawn croquettas to share. Our waitress could have been friendlier and she broke the cork when opening the wine so there were bits floating around the glass. She subsequently placed the bottle in a bucket on the other side of the room and to decided to forget to top our glasses. We asked another waiter who's service was much better, topped our wines without asking for the rest of the night and did it with a smile on his face. Highly recommend the prawn croquettas, they were absolutely divine. Our cocktails after (negroni and strawberry daquiri) were also top drawer. In summary, great food, drink and setting but service was a bit inconsistent.
A. A.
Had a great time here! The oysters are good; if you’re not an expert the servers are happy to help. Great wine selection. Vibrant atmosphere, but quiet enough to have a conversation. Well worth the price.
T. D.
Great food, strong cocktails, great service with attentive staff. Overall good vibes! Can’t wait to return.
P. A.
Great meal at Seabird - was slightly anxious that it would be style over substance at this chic top floor restaurant ontop of the Hoxton hotel. Was really happy to be proved wrong with the octopus hot dog, squid, and crab being great dishes that I would come back for. Skip the croquettes though which were relatively bland and too runny. The staff were energetic, friendly, and welcoming. The salted caramel ice cream was also one of the best I’ve ever had. Would certainly come back again especially to see what the indoor dining is like as looked lovely inside. 16/20

We attended following our civil wedding with a party of six, the host was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The delightful surroundings were topped only by the food. The lobster roll in particular was delicious. .
S.
The food was good, but nothing mind blowing. The only thing it is, it’s overpriced.
Service was seriously lacking unfortunately.
G. H.
Amazing restaurant! Would give more stars if I could!
Came here for an anniversary Lunch with my husband and we couldn't have been happier. The service was personal and excellent from start to finish. It's difficult to get decent seafood in London and they definitely deliver.
Sharing plates of generous portions, beautifully vibrant colours and flavours and so fresh. The Mackerel and Leeks vinaigrette were stand out.
Would come here time and time again!
F. O.
This place is AMAZINNNNG! Excellent food and drinks, great service and a perfect rooftop!!! One of the BEST dining experience and I highly recommend it.
c. l.
Lovely food in very relaxed (ie not rushed) setting with great views. Interesting wine list too
Overall great, tho not especially good value
A. S.
Such a great experience with seabird, the foods was excellent and the views is beyond my word.
However, the services was not great. Really upset about it, the person who handle the table location she was very rude and disrespectful.
Overall, we have such a great experience. 😀

I rarely leave a review but I had to on this occasion. Yesterday I was celebrating the 5 years of relationship with my girlfriend. I booked a table a few days ago- and explained to the receptionist that it was for a special birthday -“ she understood the assignement ” :)
They were late by a few minutes for giving us our table - due to a another customer who took more time- but it did not affect us, as I like to observe how they would handle things afterwards.
I would like to give a special thanks to Doby - for his recommendations and great energy - and to the 2 young waitress who served us. They made us appreciate the place even more due to their personalities. Same to the 2 host (downstairs and up) for their great positive energy. For me what make the difference in a place is the service, presentation, how the food is cooked, and a genuine smile on the staff you cross path with. I am extremely picky- but this establishment offered me all of that.
The food was good but I value even more the quality of the service and the little details. Only element i would say is that it was hard sometimes to get the attention of a waiter probably because their were busy. But it does not tarnish our perception of the place.
The Seabird offers a great range of quality food and the venue is worth it. However in my opinion the smile and quality of service offered by their staff make the experience better. Being someone extremely picky I would like to present my thanks to your team for making our experience very positive on that special day.

Lovely decorated restaurant inside The Hoxton hotel with views over the city.
The menu is mainly based on fish dishes, with variety of prices from the starters to mains. Drinks are on the pricey side but nothing surprising for London and the facilities.
Staff was very attentive and friendly wearing neutral hipster outfits.
The outdoors area is beautiful, although II thought it was bigger.
Booking needed but we were two and walked in on a weekday so it was fine.
O. M.
The food was really enjoyable and to a high quality. The croqueta, seared red mullet, tuna tartar and Torrija dessert were the best dishes for me.
It's pricey, but everything is being cooked fresh to order.
Service was good when you had their attention, but getting it was slightly tough, they are probably in need of more staff so the staff aren't across so many tables.
Drinks were nice but missing the usual finishing touches/garnishes (coffee beans, dried passionfruit etc)
T. J.
Phenomenal place. They nailed the service as soon as we stepped foot in the entrance downstairs looking a little lost (you enter via the Hoxton Hotel), we were welcomed with a warm smile and escorted to the elevator. The warm, professional, caring service continued right the way through. The food is absolutely delicious and the team know the menus well. The decor is basically perfect. Even the walk to the bathrooms is nice.
So great to see a restaurant get it so right. Well done guys.

Amazing services Panagiotis T. I came here for my birthday celebration, delicious food & friendly staff. Really enjoy the atmosphere here and I would defo come back!
J. P.
Really good! Lovely fresh tapas and seafood. Sitting outside on the roof terrace is a must when the weather allows! Great service from the friendly and attentive staff.
A. N.
Gorgeous location with a wonderful view. Had wine and a couple of small plates to share. Prices are in line with London hotel restaurant. Definitely would come back again.
N.
The staff are so nice and friendly!!!! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were smiling at how nice people were to us! The food was good, not amaaazing, but I would go back for the ambiance.
Y. O.
I had such an amazing time at seabird. I normally do not leave reviews but .....Everything was perfect, just had to comment. The ambience, the waiter/waitress, the service, the food. Simply lovely. The service from the waitress was so good, we actually wanted to pay more to tip her. Thank you very much Seabird. Keep it up.
A.
Amazing food, cocktails had a lot of booze and staff were super friendly. Would recommend!
M. C.
Felt like I was on holiday, but still in london. Really beautiful setting and views, a little pricey, but I suppose hotel prices. It was worth it! Highly recommend the seafood rice (paella) and the seafood platters.
J. L.
Fantastic views, and lovely venue. Great seafood and cocktails. Prices are OK too! Worth a try!
T. I.
Amazing environment, great food, tasty deserts. Perfect for special occasions as it’s a bit pricy
N.
The rooftop on the new Hoxton Hotel called seabird was a great experience. Perfect level of service, great starters with good portion sizes, mains we had was tasty. The venue itself was clean and had a very nice view of the city as well as The Shard. The cocktails are expensive ranging from 13-20£, but worth it for the view and they are quite tasty. Triple cooked chips with Cajun spice were amazing. Definitely recommend, I would go back!
J. N.
Going up there as one of my favourite restaurants in London!! Everything from the stunning decor and gorgeous rooftop views, to the staff who were so friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, I would highly recommend the Market fish with verde (we had sea bream on the day) so fresh and perfectly cooked. I couldn’t eat lobster sadly (allergic) but looked great! Also the triple cooked chips, beetroot salad, tomato salad, are a must, croquettes, fried squid and ‘Torrija’ dessert were all delicious!! I would love to come back and try more of the menu 👌🏼

I love visiting New restaurant openings,
And Seabird caught our eyes very quickly so we thought this would be a great place to celebrate a birthday, Amazing location & view from the Hoxton.
The word out is that this place has the best oysters... It was a first for us, never have i ever tried oysters or wanted to, but today changed that.. Just let me say that staff are so helpful, positive and informative, this also added to us finding the motivation to try Oysters,
We ordered the -
Portuguese / Aquanostra &
French / Gillardeau.
Results : VERY NICE we have a new found ❤️ for oysters now👌🏾
Whole lobster, fava beans, papas arrugadas,
Octopus roll🤤 Crab Bunuelos, spicey fries & a nice little surprise birthday dessert.
Would we come back? : Hell Yes we definitely want to check out the ambient lights of the cityscape from Seabird when the sunsets and obviously more oysters.
Also I wana add this restaurant takes pride in attention to detail and service and that's a big + from us.
Overall a soild 5 star experience
Well done Seabird ⭐
J. C.
Phenomenal views. Not often you see across the river looking north from 15 floors, and it looks beautiful.
The food and wine is also spectacular - not a bad dish amongst them. The service was also impeccable, and the whole place had a lovely atmosphere.
HOWEVER - you certainly pay for the privilege. For example, a single sea bass, very simply (and very nicely) cooked is £50. £50! For an £8 piece of fish maybe? £25 I could live with - these prices are extreme. It's still come again, as it is a stunning place, but be prepared to bring your platinum card...
G. L.
Staff attentive. A couple of mis haps, table was wobbly, gave us wrong water order, yet staff was quick to change and help. Some fun dishes with a great oyster selection. Impressed with bottle availability under £50 too. Superb view of london. In the summer this will be fantastic.
M.
The place is really nice. The view is amazing because you can see London from above. All the staff is really nice, polite and gentle. In particular Monica is really nice and she was really gentle with us. It was our anniversary and the restaurant offer us ice cream to celebrate it. I suggest this place.
A. M.
Awesome food, service, drinks ambience, location and the best views in London hands down.
m. m.
I really love this place! It’s perfect for a date or friends gathering as they have great environment and views. It is a seafood restaurant and most of dishes are seafood by categories. We are very fond of the food, the environment and certainly the amazing service. I do recommend this place and I will definitely come back!
T. J.
We had an amazing meal. Lots of small tapas like fish dishes. Great views of the city and the Shard. Service was excellent.
B. C.
I think 3.5 stars would be the perfect rating. On the upside, this is a beautiful place with a buzzy vibe and lovely food. Service is also great and attentive, and the terrace outside will be the place to be in summer! Downside, the seating is a bit awkward due to the restaurant having an awkward shape - initially we were placed in a table literally in the middle of a busy hallway which felt very exposed. They then moved us to a more private table to the side which was more quiet - the feeling is it's not designed for 2 diners but more for groups. Food wise there is very nice seafood and fish - everything we tried was delicious although you do pay for it! Wine list is extensive but on the expensive end as well. One for a special occasion (but don't dress up too much!) But best for summer and perhaps a good brunch spot!
J. F. (.
Nice view but the seafood was a let down. If you know seafood then you’ll know what you are being served. The cocktails are also not much to be hyped about, my hubby ordered a “Toucan Do It” cocktail and received it in a peacock vase looking glass completely shoved with ice! Not coming back.
K. D.
Where can I start. I was a finicky customer who kept changing her oyster happy hour booking (which they accommodated). I was welcomed by the BEST human I have ever come across. They were friendly, approachable and just brightened my day. We were quickly served and the server took time to explain the different oysters, describing each experience and recommended the order we ate them in, to really get the full experience (which I loved!).
We then ordered a bunch of food. Chips - to die for. Octopus roll- to die for. We ordered everything on the starters and raw, twice - it was just that good (3 people were eating)!! It is REALLY, REALLY GOOD!
Okay, for those insta-queens… the location is a dream. The views, rooftop/skyline. Day or night. It’s beautifully done. No flaws. Even the walkway to the bathroom - mini runway more like, the stairway by the loo’s is also picturesque. Everything is perfection!!!
So, food (100%), services (100%), vibes/aesthetics (100%) and my recommendation for you to go - 100%. I am going again!!
Sorry, I have no pictures just one video. You know the place is amazing when you just live in the moment and forget to capture it for the masses.
R.
Great vibe, fab staff
Good food, not amazing but good value and decent enough that overall still great.
Would I go there again for the food alone, no, but if I wanted to go again for the whole vibe and set up then definitely
K. S.
Definitely one of the most exquisite restaurants in London!
The perfect balance between elegance and cozziness. Lovely terrace on top with fabulous view and the most comfortable sofas with blankets available for everyone!
The staff makes you feel right at home - especially Annette! :)

You pay for the location, which is really nice, nice views. The small plates are good, highly recommend the prawn croquettes but would stay away from the triple fried potato fries which was tasteless and dry. The quality of the seabass was great but lacked seasoning and taste. So missed the flame grill taste, it was really just alright and definitely not worth the £50 per fish. The lobster was extremely skinny, don't think I ever had this little meat from a lobster. Also here the flavours were not coming out. We ordered cheesecake for dessert which was (sorry to say) horrible. The butter literally melted in our mouths, like we were digging a spoon in creamy butter with some cheesy flavour, we both had to pass on that one. I really desperately wanted to check this place out and the experience on it's own was very nice and even the cocktails were delicious. I would definitely come back for a drink with friends and some prawn croquettes but that would be about it I'm afraid.
D. S.
Amazing experience.. Monika looked after us . She was very professional and helpful especially about wine.Good quality of food . We will definitely back soon. Thank you
Y.
Booked the table and the seafood plates one month ago, but they just informed me that the seafood plates are not available one hour before my booking time…….. food are ok, but…. Can’t you informed me earlier?
M. A.
Cool lunch balance of flavours and really appreciate the team for consistency and quality
W. O.
Really good sea food with spectacular views. Heating available
R. S.
Amazing views and the friendliest staff. The staff who guided us up from ground floor foyer, the staff who met us at the entrance to the hotel, the waiters and the bar staff. Really lovely, conversational and made you feel immediately welcome.Thank you so much. My girlfriends and I had an amazing evening !
The food was also incredible.
The oysters and the recommended Seabass was were delicious !

You can find Seabird on the 14th floor of the recently opened Hoxton hotel in Southwark. The interior is beautiful, spacious and with amazing views across London. Can't wait for sunny days to enjoy the outside terrace (there are heaters, but can imagine it can still be a bit windy and chilly). If you're a big fan of seafood (and cocktails) then you're definitely at the right place. Love their amazing selection of oysters; they have an extensive oyster menu (from the UK, France, Netherlands). Enjoyed my (half)lobster, although thought it was pretty small considering the price. Maybe better next time? Service was lovely and attentive.
P. R.
Great rooftop seafood restaurant with outdoor terrace. Will be fantastic in Summer with views towards Big Ben and Tate Modern. The restaurant is on the 14th floor of the Hoxton Hotel and has one of the longest oyster lists in London. The food is a mixture of Portuguese and Spanish influences.
We had a selection of small plates starting with Jamon Croquetas with sobrasada aioli, a Crab & Manchego Omelette served with hollandaise and smoked paprika, and some Grilled Sardine Skewers with gordal olive salsa.
We decided to share a main of Frittura Mixta [for two] a selection of crispy seafood, padron peppers and served with a saffron aioli. And a side order of Papas Arrugadas with mojo rojo sauce (Wrinkled Canary Island potatoes with a spicy red sauce)
To finish we had a cheesecake (which had shaved cheese on top!) and coffee. A delightful meal and a great place to have seafood.
The service was very friendly and helped us choose different dishes. Great place for cocktails and snacks on the terrace when the weather is warmer!

We had such an amazing time at Seabird. This was our first meal out as a married couple and we can’t thank the staff enough for the fantastic service. From being greeted downstairs by a lovely lady, to the wonderful man (who told us he could sing opera!) who showed us to our table, to the oyster sommelier who served us throughout the evening - you made our night so special! And on top of all of that, the food was exceptional. We will definitely visit again, thank you!
A. M. M.
Great experience!
Stunning design.i went with some friends on a Sunday late afternoon and it wasn't busy so it was great. Shame that the weather wasn't the best (winter time) because the terrace must be a great place to have a drink with amazing views.
Nice selection of cocktails and wines.
I ordered a glass of red wine from Canary Islands and I was very impressed, and together with some Cecina de León and Salchichón with peppercorn... delicious!
Staff very polite and paying attention to detail. Well done Team!
I will definitely come back either if it's winter or summer.

Visited for my friends Birthday and the place was amazing! Got greeted by the most kindest man at the restaurant entrance. Food was incredible, great drinks, views and vibes
T.
There are good things about this place - the ambience, the view, the friendly and attentive service - but unfortunately the food, while not bad, was not good value for the quality of it. We had a number of small plates and two mains. Of the small plates, the tuna ceviche was OK but nothing to write home about, the heritage tomato salad was nice, the leeks vinaigrette was overcooked and the "triple cooked chips" were fine. But the mains . . . the iberico pork presa was tough, chewy and tasteless, and the "prawn rice", at £39, was ridiculously overpriced. It consisted of a risotto in a nice stock, garnished with two small, tired dry prawns and a dry and overcooked sliver of red mullet sitting in the middle. A shared wedge of pineapple to finish was refreshing. Drinks were good - cocktail and sparkling to start and a very good glass of chablis with the meal, well priced by London standards. But overall the food was uninspiring.
M. K.
Excellent lunch, knowledgeable friendly service. We had a wide selection of dishes, all good.
A great special occasion venue
R. S.
Good seafood with amazing views. Best vibes any time of day or night. Portions are small/tapas style but delicious
A. V.
Really lovely staff and service! Incredible views of London and possibly the Sea bass dish we’ve ever had. We will back for a third time for that sea bass!
v.
OMG - Loved, loved the staff and as for the food amazing. All against the backdrop of our London skyline. Perfect afternoon can't wait to go back. Thank you for making my birthday so special ❤
P. P.
We went here as a special dinner for my mother’s birthday. The team were super friendly from arrival to when we left.
My dad doesn’t speak great English and the waitress went out if her way to get her colleague to translate sentences into Italian so she could ask him about his experience. Anette really upgraded the whole experience. We’re a bit fussy when it comes to service (used to US and Italian levels of service) but Anette really offered us the best service we’ve experienced in London!
H. B.
Absolutely loved it! Great ambience and everything was delicious. Very attentive service. Was a bit of a post-lockdown treat for us so keep that in mind price wise. Other than that, enjoy!!
D. P.
Contrary to other reviewers, we received excellent service, plentiful food and fantastic atmosphere. Granted, it's not a cheap place, but perfect for a special occasion.
N. K.
This place was recommended by a friend...the view is just breathtaking from the 14th floor rooftop...the mussels were absolutely delicious...would highly recommend it
P. G. S.
Amazing food and location. Staff was great, drinks and food selection quite broad but not overwhelming.
Ideal date location.
A. B.
Here is our full experience of Seabird, we spend 30minutes waiting in lobby even thou we had a reservation, only thing we got told is someone is occupying your table please wait. Finally once we got to our table, the view was fantastic, the restaurant itself is beautiful and staff are very welcoming.
We ordered some cocktails and food (2 starters, 2 mains). Before we could take a few sips of the delicious drinks the waiters were already serving our starters and mains at the same time. It just felt like they wanted us to eat and get out.
Anyways, the food was delicious well most of it atleast, id recommend sticking to seafood, because we had a pork dish which was awfull, the meat was tough and it was accompanied by a grilled lettuce, which doesnt make sense why would you grill lettuce.
Then we had some dessert which was fantastic and that was the end of our lunch.
Long story short, the place is good for 1 time experience, but staff needs to be educated on how to treat customers at table side. I dont know if i would come agin thou. But in their defence thou the view was one of a kind and some of the dishes were excellent. 7/10 for me
N. O.
Seabird London was a fantastic experience with attentive staff and delicious food; staff were welcoming; ambience we as fantastic with soothing music; amazing skyline views and beautiful decor: overall, it's a place worth visiting.
A. L.
Came here for the Early Bird offer just before Lockdown 2.0 - we really enjoyed the veggie options (only one of us ate the seafood) and highly recommend the Beetroot Tartare and pretty much all the veggie options. The cocktails were good but not mind blowing - think we got drunk from the pink champagne rather than the 3-4 cocktails we had but mixing alcohols is always a bad choice! Seating wise I would have preferred more space or Perspex dividers but I guess it felt like it was “normal” rather than Covid19... we were also ushered out on time to get out by 10pm curfew which means we were in bed by 10:30pm (as we stayed at the hotel) which means we had a 10-11 hour sleep before we had to check out by 10am the next day!
N.
Food was as expected for an establishment of this calibre. Staff was mostly amazing aside from a couple who didn't get the message when we needed the bill quick and chose to have a chat/laugh instead. In normal times I'm fine with this laid back style of service but I needed to catch a train!
B. B.
Perfect for lunches on special occasions. Amazing menu, highlights were the sea bass and iberico pork. Definitely revisiting soon, the view from the balcony tops it all off.
J. A.
The rooftop terrace is magical!
Absolutely loved the octopus roll and prawn croquettes :)
B. B.
A few months ago myself and my girlfriend found this place online.
From the pictures it looked fantastic, the food exquisite and the location perfect.
At the time we decided that we would only go to this wonderful place for our anniversary, but little did I know.
That she along with my brother and his fiancée booked this wonderful terrace for my birthday.
The setting was amazing.
The staff were friendly (especially the Chinese gentleman who gave extra time to us).
The cocktails were great but most of all.
This is coming from someone who is incredibly picky when it comes to seafood.
The seabass was outstanding!!!! Best fish I've ever had!
My brother who is a Michelin star level chef stated that it was the best he has ever had aswell.
This is an experience I will never forget and will 100% return.
Thank you
N. C.
Absolutely lovely place and staff! If you can’t travel abroad, you should come here as it makes you feel like you’re in Southern Europe ;)
M. T.
We went for the anniversary of my parents and was completely amazing! Food exceptional! Everyone love it! Well done Chef! And we had an amazing waiter!
Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐
R. C.
Sky high prices and a poor menu leave room for improvement.
I really wanted to like Seabird which is in the Hoxton hotel. The Southbank is such a cool area these days and the view/location is great but the menu was limited and my cocktail was overpriced and not very good. £5 for a small bowl of chips as an example, which I only ordered because the portions were so small. In summary: Not a lot of choice and prices above its station.
H. C.
Seabird was a delightful, elegant, beautiful experience. The heated terrace is amazing and the casual but delicious tapas style food was great. Really friendly and attentive staff. Great night.
E. S.
Wonderful birthday dinner! Panos was brilliant in serving us - very knowledgeable with fantastic suggestions.
The best Oyster I believe I have ever eaten, and the rest was wonderful too.
T. S.
Nothing short of spectacular. This place is the real deal. Great food, great service, great staff. Couldn’t have asked for more. Very much looking forward to coming back here again.
J. P.
Awesome vibes, great seafood, and very lovely staff who really give their best service. Top notch and will try to go again given reservations always full!
D. A.
Food is delicious - lobster is a must try. Cocktails were fabulous and the view is great. If you like seafood then this is the place for you!
A. P.
Great food, great restaurant, great service.
Everything here is excellent.
Try the seafood rice, monkfish, octopus roll (pictured) and have the manchango cheesecake for pudding.
p.
Fantastic new seafood restaurant with a chic interior and great views!! The food was so good and their selections of oysters is very vast!!
B. N. T.
Amazing place with great view on top of The Hoxton Boutique Hotel. We had drinks outside but they also serve food inside (seafood). Def would come back!
D.
Had an amazing lunch there, great selection of oysters and Vicky took care of us with some refreshing cocktails! Would recommend!
S.
Went here for my birthday. If you love oysters and martinis, this is the place for you. Great views too!
T. H.
Great food, ambiance, service, views
R. A.
Can't fault them. Friendly staff, professional. Tasty food. The oysters were delicious. The service was prompt. The restaurant has been designed with nature in mind, plenty of plants and impressive bamboo light shades, with a sprinkle of elegance. The terrace is fantastic, and the view of London was the perfect end to the evening. Will come again!
A. O.
Had such a great time at Seabird. The host Michael, who had such a welcoming presences and that goes for the waitress also. Great experience.
C. W.
Beautiful and very chill rooftop atmosphere. Fun drinks and great seafood! We loved the octopus roll the most
E. L. G.
Seabird is a rooftop restaurant in Southwark atop the Hoxton Hotel. It boasts impressive views across London as well as the UK’s longest oyster list. The food at Seabird has Portuguese and Spanish influences, which run throughout all menus. We visited for Weekend Brunch with the menu featuring an array of seafood platters, small plates, charcuterie, larger plates and sides. Food, cocktails, service and interiors were all amazing!
R. S.
This place! The view! The food! The service! The cocktails! Oh and the plants!
I was surprised.
My friend and I were welcomed warmly, sat in the outdoor sitting, just in time for the sun to set. It was a warm evening too so the entire experience was just perfect.
The tapas style foods were delicious and the oyster were fresh!
I recommend.
J. I.
I don't eat fish, but the view, chips and peppers were el fantastiqué. My "Vegetarian" girlfriend enjoyed the lobster (Who I have named Patrice the lobster)
D. D.
Tasty food , perfect for seafood lovers , beautiful decorations, great service/staff.
Loved the baby squids and oysters the most.Little bit priceless, but you pay for what you get!
Well heated and nice blankets outdoor.Looking forward to book a table inside as well. One of my favourites now! very happy to find this place
J.
Absolutely stunning restaurant with breathtaking views. Very disappointed to be made to wait 45 minutes to be seated. We booked for 8.30pm and were finally seated at 9.15pm. We booked at this time to see the sun set but unfortunately only caught 5mins at the end. Food was ok. I like to think of myself to be quite adventurous with food but please stop putting grated Parmesan or whatever it is on your cheesecake!!
J. M.
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in London. The food, the staff, the setting are amazing will be taking everyone I know to this place!
M. L.
Eaten at a few similar roof top bars and Seabird was the best by far. Reasonable prices, large cocktails, great food and nice atmosphere. Will try and come back on a Friday when the DJ is playing! 5 stars for sure.
a. c. t.
Amazing views, small Very cosy patio outside perfect for drinks and snack. The food was Very disappoiting.
K. K.
Nice terrace with excellent service!! Food is good.
O. C.
It's one of my favourite restaurants. Foods amazing, Service Great, and views are breathtaking
H. D.
Maldon oysters were the perfect start to a wide, fish orientated tapas menu. Food was great and our server very helpful in advising about portion size. Real buzz about the place, shame the views were spoiled by rain clouds. Thank you, we'll be back.
K. G.
Had a great experience here from start to finish. Our waitress Lee was fabulous. The drinks were great, cocktails tasty and different especially the toucan! The wine recommendations were spot on too. Food was delicious but we just kept ordering the tapas style dishes which give a modern twist on Spanish classics. To top it off, the views over London are fabulous
K. H.
Excellent atmosphere and staff, good food, lovely spot for a special occasion night out
E. E.
Costi was fantastic. He offered us the best table and recommended the most delicious ishes. We eill definitely come back again. Hopefully one day the weather will allow us to be outside on the terrace.
A. H.
Lovely night for my birthday.
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. The Octopus roll is mind-blowing, and the sea prawn rice very tasty.
S. T. N. F.
Seabird was an experience, we walked in downstairs to be seated and wait for our table to be available. Downstairs is another restaurant where you can relax in chill and even have a drink to start up your night. The 2 Black gentlemen downstairs the hosts made us feel absolutely catered for, where so respectful and kind and inviting and that's the type of people you want at first contact of the customer. They led us to a lift that took us 14 floors to the restaurant and as you walk you're captivated by the views of the bar and restaurant inside which is just glitz and glam. The marble surfaces and the lighting just create this amazing ambience and immediaey the raw oyster presentation just bring you into a world of seafood and quickly you start getting yourself prepared. The cocktails where lovely and the service was brilliant we had a black lady omg lve forgotten her name now who was our host and led us to our seat but all the staff where absolutely brilliant. We managed to sit outside on the terrace and l must say if you do want the full views and best seats you need one of the couch seats so don't get seated then hope to move because due to covid you can't then be moved to another table when it becomes free. So make up your mind before you're seated if you're to wait or take any seat. We didn't quote make it to those seats but was on the chaired table however managed to sneakily get a pic after a couple had moved from their table which noone really saw but to be safe and all that jazz stick to the rules guys or decide before you get seated. The food wasn't to die for l must say and l was a bit disappointed by that there wasn't much choice so it's a place where ld say you mainly come for the ambience of the terrace and to tick off one of the most aerial locations to take some amazing pictures and content for social media. We ordered the pork which was tender and succulent and gorgeous with the seafood rice which is basically a paella style rice and their squid. The food was a bit bland not really the type of food that's spicy in anyway which was a bit disappointing. The squid had a bit of a funny taste and without the paste or patee like accompaniment l couldn't have finished them. When we got there we were hungry so l made sure l took advantage of all the money l was going to spend. The sunshine came out to play for us and watching the sunset l tell ya was the highlight of everything. It was so pretty and just relaxing.
D. N.
Really thought this would be overrated. Great service food and vibe. Will be back 100%
T. T.
Pricey but worth it. Would go back in a heartbeat and I don't say that often.
Manchego cheesecake was magic.
E. P.
Such a nice place, with lovely staff! A little bit pricey but we had a wonderful experience and can't recommend it enough x
E.
Chic place! Mainly because of the lovely interior and overall atmosphere. I have to say, the menu and drinks are not breathtaking though, not bad either, just nothing really exceptional. Still, this place has a great vibe and the view from the terrace is stunning so definitely worth to visit.
S. K.
Fire alarm went off multiple times on arrival meaning we had to wait half an hour to be seated. These things happen but staff didn’t apologise or provide a complimentary drink as an apology. Disappointing. Otherwise food and drink was largely fine.
A. B.
Gorgeous views, and some real hits in the menu but overpriced considering that some dishes missed the mark for me
C.
Great experience here, service was great and we didn't have to wait long at all for our meals, fair prices for excellent service and food
B. S.
Very nice spot for weekend lunch. Be sure to book in advance though as with current Covid restrictions it gets full quicker than normally.
We went for our first Sunday lunch and couple of coctails after loosening restrictions.
It was lovely to be out and about again. Staff was very friendly and accommodating which made the experience even better.
As to location, the rooftop bar is on the side of the building that doesn't get much sun. This combined with quite a windy day made us feel a bit cold. If you're sitting next to a heater you quite ok but otherwise it might be a bit chilly on the spring day. I'm sure this will not be a problem in the summer though.
As the menu is Spanish tapas, we've ordered a few small plates to share. If you're not big eater, I'd say 6 tapa to share between 2 people is more than enough.
Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. My personal favourite was scallop aguachille, raw scallop with coriander and avocado sauce.
We also had a few classics: pan con tomate, padrón peppers, prawn croquetas, fried baby squid and their signature dish octopus roll. Octopus with smoked alioli and pepper was delicious, I wasn't sure about the brioche roll. Personally I would prefer it without the brioche but then again it wouldn't be a roll anymore 😉
To finish off 2 hours slot we've been allocated we've had a couple of coctails.
As I'm a big fan of gin, I've chosen The Skimmer and frozen Gin Paloma. Both amazingly refreshing and both perfect for summer days.
My other half had El Draque with cachaca and classic negroni, also delish.
The whole experience was great and I'd recommend it as a lovely treat.
O. O.
Great service, delicious food and amazing cocktails. The tropical decor with its palm fronds and clams on ice was absolutely lush! The staff was super Covid compliant and took the necessary precautions to make diners feel safe. Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon...
S. D.
Service was amazing , we felt at home right away. Food was also great and came out really quickly. Will definitly come back when weather is sunnier to enjoy a meal on their rooftop terrace !
M. S.
Great food, great view, really friendly staff. The food is the real star, so tasty, and not expensive with drinks for four of us the bill with service was £155! Brilliant
E. P.
Friendly service, gorgeous food. The Peppers and potatoes small plates were delicious and so were the desserts. Good portions too.
L. Z. L.
Wonderful atmosphere high above London with the greatest Sightseeings topping up your meal. Oysters always been delicious. Service is friendly, helpful and very understanding.
Would recommend to book for an amazing date night or with your group of friends as it is perfect for celebrations.
K. H.
Hands down one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant has such a chilled out vibe which I found so so so refreshing with all the new COVID-19 rules. There was plenty of space between tables which made it feel so luxurious, the staff were really attentive and the food was incredible.
This isn’t a restaurant if you aren’t a shellfish lover, shellfish is the main focus of the whole menu. We will be back very soon!
S. L.
Amazing dishes food was amazing, and portion sizes are really big for a good high end place
A.
Light, breezy and stunning rooftop location for a different take on tapas and sea food such as octopus roll! Highly recommend
N. J.
One of the most wonderful meals and general restaurant vibes we've had in a long time. Highly recommend! The views were amazing too.
K.
the place is amazing , unfortunately we didn't get the terrace seats. tasted an orange wine. I think because they were busy, the service was a bit slow .
L. W.
Fantastic food and drinks especially on a day like this!
P. F.
Thank you to Luca for the amazing cocktails! Spectacular view however the place just opened, so they still need to organize the terrace and the system in place a little better. A lot of potential!
O. V.
Lovely place! Nice Rooftop view and tasty food. Enjoyed it.
M. A.
Best seafood in London. Phenomenal oyster menu!
Y. M.
Great food but found sand in most shell food. But great cocktails
S. T.
A bit overpriced but good vibes and nice rooftop scene. We had the crab and lobster dish, as well as octopus roll... which were all overpriced but tasty. The cocktails were pretty good too
S.
Had an amazing afternoon here! The views are spectacular and we had excellent service from Sabina who made our visit go smoothly. The food was delicoious- I loved the dessert which surprised me for a seafood restraint. Can't wait to visit again
S. S.
Absolutely loved this place. They have an open kitchen which I love and everything we ate was delicious, all the seafood was so fresh and cooked to perfection - the grilled mackerel was a real stand out. The wine list was extensive, the staff were wonderful - so attentive and knowledgeable, and the ambiance was great. The terrace was gorgeous, perfect when the weather is a bit better! Highly recommend this place for a date night or group of friends.
J. G. M.
Michael and Kostas provide us with an amazing customer service. Dedicated, careful and lovely guys. Michael greet us and Kostas served us with an unforgettable experience. These guys (as the rest of the team) deserve a compliment cause we had an amazing experience. Location is lovely, with a beautiful view, customer service is great and food is good (I’m very picky with food since I’m Italian lol).
Def worth to come back ✨
M. P.
Fantastic vibe with a great rooftop view. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was great too
C. A.
Pretty sensational setting. A fancy crowd eating and drinking amazing food. There wasn't one dish that was sub par. The prawn croquettes, something else alongside the leeks, too good! On a summer night, not sure there is a better place in London.
P. C.
Excellent seafood restaurant with wonderful views. The staff in the restaurant are all really good.
C. R. I. S. T. I. N. A.
Hi .Amazing service , especially By Adelina ( she was so nice and able to answer to all our questions about food🙏❤), delicios food and unreal views.I cant wait to go back there....
C. C.
I just had a great meal here with a mate for the first time and am really impressed. The restaurant itself is awesome (sick views and great layout), the food was consistently good and the service was bang on too! Can’t wait to try the roof terrace next summer, this place is gonna be a regular haunt for sure. Recommend the prawn croquetas, they were peng! ❤️
A.
Whether you’re a seafood enthusiast, or not a fan, but you want your opinion to be changed, this is the place to go. I didn’t like oysters before coming to Seabird and it changed my mind. This place is a real experience, with a selection of different kind of oysters that taste different from one another. The service was amazing, special mention to Alex who gave us great recommendations and was on top during the whole dinner.
I was lucky enough to taste a wide range of plates from the menu and the crab bites was a real winner for me. Loved the scallop as well.
As far as dessert is concerned, the cheesecake blown me away. Light and creamy, with actual cheese grated in front of you by your waiter.
Would recommend !
F. B.
Love it , been there for our day. Friendly staff, good quality food.
B. K.
Pricey, but the views are good, there's an outdoor roof terrace, the seafood is excellent.
They have a very extensive oyster menu - more than 10 different types - so this is a great place to bring oyster connoisseurs.
They also do an oyster happy hour - daily from like 3pm till 6pm I believe. It used to be £1 oysters, but now I think its £1.50+, but still cheaper than the usual £3+ a pop on their regular menu.
Good for a business meal, or date night to impress.
Located inside the Hoxton Hotel.
o. v.
The food is amazing and even if the restaurant is not that fancy in the decor as other restaurants we still had a great time there
Despite that, the waitress made me feel embarrassed when after 2 course meal I ordered desert and she came as “ I thought you will be full, are you sure you want to eat more”
Which I found really unprofessional of her
And manager came to ask us how was the food while I was with my mouth full of food
I hate when they are doing that
I haven’t even finished the food and she asks how was the food 🤷🏻♀️
P. L.
My friend and I dined 1.5 weeks ago and we were both pleasantly surprised. The manager Charlie was absolutely fantastic and wonderfully professional. He knew everything on the menu and the allergens attached to each item which proved very useful. I was wow'd by the wines, food and professionalism. Definitely worth the experience.
N. S.
Amazing discovery in central London! Beautiful top floor restaurant with amazing views and decoration.
Great selection of fresh fish and seafood as well as tapas. All the food was very tasty and beautifully presented.
Could have more dessert options even though lemon sorbet was delicious.
n. f.
Excellent restaurant, drinks and service. The terrace view is one the best in London.
M. M.
Great seefood restaurant in the 14th stage with an unbelievable view!
When I visit London again, I will definitely come back here!
J. D.
Awesome ambience and food mostly great but avoid the spider crab at £50 its a shell with some sort of cream and shredded lettuce 🥬 (sounds like description) otherwise pleasant (but bit less cream on mains would be welcome!)
T. L.
The food is amazing and distinct, the interior beautiful and spacious (in difference to most restaurants in London) and the views second to none.
The staff are friendly, kind and competent BUT there were far too many of them around us at all times. I felt pressured to eat as quickly as I could because someone was constantly trying to take (unfinished) plates from us. We went for a date and were out within 70min after starters/mains/wine. It didn’t feel like it was treat and it was exclusively down to the service. Please slow down, it was uncomfortable.
C. B.
Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing views... all round great experience and would recommend to anyone (with a higher budget)
K. W.
The BEST food I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The food was consistently perfect with every single dish we ordered. I also LOVE the decor and terrace - if the terrace was warmer then it was be 100%.
A. E.
Ambience, food, cocktails, the view - everything was great. The best thing about my evening there was the service from Szabina! She was really lovely and attentive. She also suggested great cocktails all night - get the passion fruit caipirinha!
R. S.
Great place with views. Superb service. And we had the best fish dish we’ve ever had anywhere in the world (market fish - whole sea bass). Greek waiter is absolute gold dust.
N. M.
Stunning decor (3 million plants) and views (some of my fave South London views taking in the guts of the city as well as the pretty face) backed up by some knockout dishes (scallop ceviche, heirloom tomato salad, butterfly mackerel in a vat of oil) but let down by too many duds (monkfish tail, croquettas, lobster, all the desserts). Would have been three stars but for the oysters being sensational. Didn't drink but even the best wine and cocktail list in the world probably couldn't take it to five stars so it'd only be a potential drag-down to three. Nevertheless, fun place. Lovely service too.

Best restaurant I've been to in ages, vibe, food and atmosphere all just right, great for a spesh occasion

Went for a date night treat because I love oysters. The atmosphere was good, I felt really relaxed there. My first thought was it was a bit pricey, but felt overall it was worth the price. I think they have taken on board some of the other reviews because the service was anything but slow, one of the most attentive restaurant experiences I’ve had. The oyster sommelier came out with the oysters to tell me about each one, which I loved - he was really chilled and friendly which made for a really personal-feeling experience. They gave us two on the house which obviously is going to improve your mood! Wine is all organic and I enjoyed the bottle we had very much. I like how they group wine by country of origin and region north to south rather than by price. It’s much more interesting to consider a wine list this way I think. The oysters come out naked and you can add your own dressing. Tbh they were so fresh and flavoursome they didnt need much at all. Rest of the food was great. The menu is small and well balanced with very different types of dishes which makes things feel fun. Tasteful and fun is a consistent thread that ran though the whole evening. Going back for a huge seafood platter on my birthday.

Specifically booked the restaurant for an outside table 2 weeks ahead. The restaurant called to confirm a week ahead and I double checked if we could have a table outside the response was ‘we’ll see what we can do’
On arrival we were shown to a corner inside where the sun tore into the eyes of half the table. Outside is set entirely for tables of 2 to Instagram the entire experience. Zero chance of a table for six, should have just been Upfront about this.
Food and service was AMAZING!

Amazing super coay restaurant 👌
J. F.
Great sea food and lovely views, plus top beer 🍺
W. N.
Moy, Charlie and Dora were exceptional. Attentive service, relaxed but executed very very well. Will return. Food was great. As were the cocktails!

Amazing place to chill and enjoy
Can enjoy the amazing fascinating view of London
V. C.
Beautiful and very cosy place ♡ Very nice views. Love the seafood
D. H.
Atmosphere was amazing, but disappointed to know that there is no platter in the current menu. Staff were not all friendly and attentive. Seafood did not taste fresh. I expect something better with this cost.

I went for dinner in seabird on a saturday night, we had a lovely dinner. The host, I think his name was Markus?! if my memory serves, was really fun and accommodating even tho the place was busy he still managed to get us a window table which definitely made the difference. The service during the evening was good, a little slow but well, we where not in the rush! Food was good, a little pricey but I guess you also pay for the view and its london after all! We will most probably be back.
L. B.
The place looks really lovely and the atmosphere is nice but some of the dishes we ordered were FAR too expensive. For example, we ordered a plate of iberico ham as a starter: a tiny dessert plate came with 6 poor pieces in it... this was 15 pound... a joke. I know we're in London but still !!
T. W.
Excellent seafood and cocktails, lovely outdoor heated terrace. Slightly expensive but you get good quality for it
R.
Great choices of oysters with a beautiful view.
L. A.
From a seaside town, so I do like some seafood, but quite often disappointed, that was not the case here, amazing service, great food and not breaking a hole in the pocket either. Happy to go back again.
M. B.
Yes - it does stink of paraffin lamp oil when you walk in. Give it 10 mins and you kinda get used to it :) Otherwise it's a lovely space, great views over London, delicious tapas if you can cover the £12 per small dish. Staff have that quality vibe about them. Overall, I'd say yes. Maybe in the summer when the windows are open it would be a bit more easy breathing :)

Family get together in the City in a beautiful, relaxing setting. The staff were welcoming and very attentive. Every mouthful of food was a Mmmmmm experience. Highly recommend for a real treat

Trendy restaurant with a laid back Californian vibe. Food was great but a little pricey. Short and interesting list of desserts. Service slightly haphazard which is surprising given the number of waiting staff there were.

Seabird is absolutely stunning, and the customer service is fabulous. The atmosphere is very romantic, and I would definitely recommend for drinks. I think I was expecting more from a place like this in regards to the food, which is why I could not give the full 5 stars.
Y. S.
We had a Hendrick’s gin taster menu at a special event. The food was exceptional...and everyone please pay attention! You HAVE to have the cheesecake OH MY GOD
D. S.
Loved loved loved it here. I wish I remember the names of the 2 people who served us at the bar, because they contributed to our thorough enjoyment here. One was a South African guy, but that's all I remember.
We didn't have a booking, and initially just wanted drinks. The staff were very friendly and offered us a table on the terrace, but when we got up, they asked if as it was cold we'd like to sit at the bar, which we did. The 2 bar staff who served us throughout the night recommended many drinks, all of which were amazing! Their knowledge and passion really inspired a wonderful evening!
Seeing the oysters being shucked then tempted us and were asked for some recommendations. Again, the knowledge and passion of the bar staff really guided us, and we were in for a real treat with the oysters.
Thanks you! Keep up the great work!

I saw this super popular terrace restaurant before, and I wanted to come, the first day of unblocking the book, I finally booked it! The environment is really nothing to say. When the weather is good, you can see the sun pouring, and it is easy to get a piece of it when it is sun-dried on the green plants.
The food is quite satisfactory. The lobster is fresh and served with French fries, which is great!
The cocktail we ordered was super high in appearance, good in taste, and slightly full of stamina, but it was also delicious, I like it!
There are many varieties of Oyster, you can choose according to your own preferences, it is better to add lemon!
Pepper has a Spanish flavor, but it's a bit bigger, and it's salty and delicious!
💰Per capita: £75

(Translated) Great new Spanish-Portuguese seafood restaurant in the new Hoxton hotel. On the 14th floor and with a large, casual palm terrace you can enjoy sensational views of the city all around.
Bar, tables and alcoves are pleasantly designed. Even the oyster and drinks selection is fun! (various British, Scottish and Irish oysters)
Tapas and snacks from crispy sourdough bread to aged Iberico ham and roasted carrots with cream cheese and nuts are delicious. A highlight: the octopus roll!
Just take a look at the pictures, go there and enjoy!
