After dining at SAC over the weekend, I now understand why they’re always booked weeks in advance!! The venue is absolutely stunning and I love that they have preserved the character of the building. Everyone was super friendly and our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu. There were lots of options to choose from to share with the rest of the table. All the food was great, in particular, the crab croquette was to die for. I don’t have enough praise for this place, I can’t wait to come back soon!

A beautiful place with stunning interiors and with the most amazing and friendliest service I ever had! Food is delicious and so are the cocktails and very reasonable priced! Every dish felt like it was made with love.! DELICIOUS! Highly recommended… definitely a hot spot in Clerkenwell!

Spectacular building. Lots of art. The food is impecable. Complete wine list and cocktails are pricey but delicious. There’s a terrace that should be lovely in the warmer weather. Great place for an intimate date or a fun night out with friends.

Such a special place from both an architectural and flavour perspective. The service was sublime, the food was insane and the venue is the cherry on top. I hope when you done there they have the pasta calamari dish…. it was a circus of flavours in my mouth. Every dish felt like it was handcrafted with love. The quality of ingredients come through with every bite. Well done team! From reception to dining, very well executed.

Giving this a five stars simply because it was one of the most memorable places I’ve dined at in London. The effort they have put into this place really shows, it’s excellent for a date or a group of friends out. Cocktails and food were good and highlight for me was the deserts.

Cute AF, interesting plates of food, GORGEOUS building. Had a beautiful wine (Mencia) reasonable value. Whole experience wonderful. Will defo be back and would recommend ❤️

Really delightful addition to Clerkenwell Green! Taking up the top few floors of the historic Sessions House, this place has been beautifully restored into a wonderful place for a delish meal and drinks. Their menu uses seasonal ingredients, a mixture of small and large dishes. The cocktail and wine menu are also wonderful, and don't skip the desserts!

Beautiful restaurant space and great way to spend an evening. The wine list is great, had a nice Austrian skin contact bottle. I thought whilst the food is fantastic quality I didn't think it's the most innovative, but perhaps that's not the aim here. As an overall experience it's a great relaxing place to spend an evening. I would probably prefer going as group of 4 rather than couple though to order and share a few more of the dishes.

Stunning decor and vibe with great food - recommend the clams, the beetroot, the oyster mushroom, the panisse and then panna cotta.

Never were the 5 stars more deserved. The quality of the food, the range of wines and excellent service were absolutely superb. The setting is amazing and on the day, our waitress Maddie was ever so attentive and professional. Absolutely recommended.

Really great venue. Lovely food and amazing setting. Well worth a visit for a special occasion. Service was very good, deserts were well worth saving space for!

Stunning. You will sense something special is hiding behind that anonymous red front door. The scented arrivals hall and warm welcome, followed by a retro-looking lift to the fourth floor, all add to the ambiance. But none of that prepares you for the magnificent interior, brilliantly adapted, into which another staff member greets you with a charming smile. Indeed, the whole team is professional and friendly throughout, without being intrusive.
The food is spectacularly good - the four of us shared several small plates for starters - including big fat panisse (deep fried chickpea flour chips - don't worry, it works!) radiccio with aioli, crab croquettes, exquisite beetroot salad with a silky puree and goat's curd - followed by individual mains. The triump was roast rabbit, prepared akin to pulled pork, neatly wrapped in a Savoy cabbage leaf, with a moat of subtle mustard sauce. Panna cotta for dessert hit the spot.
There's an excellent, unusual wine list. The sommeliere knows her stuff.
None of this comes cheap, but as an overall evening experience, it's one of the best we've had in a long time. We will be back.
The only remaining question is - why haven't you been there already? Ask for a balcony table if there's one going.

It's really difficult to get a booking at this tucked away restaurant on Clerkenwell Green with member's club vibes. Gorgeous and stylish dining room. Good hospitality and service - lots of staff - but a little slow at times. The food was good, but the dishes we had were a little hit and miss. Some felt on point and others fell shy of it. Same with the drinks. Recommended for a special meal more for the overall charm and ambience than anything else.

Service, food, and ambiance are beautiful. Highly recommend coming here. Definitely get the crab!

One of the most beautiful restaurants with character. Food was ok and small portions, prices reasonable. I would recommend this place for experience and for the uniqueness

Great decor, cool atmosphere and decent food/drinks. The menu is on the pricier side but it’s the perfect spot for people watching and if you want to impress a friend/date with a hip, cool place to hang

Four of us celebrated my Birthday here last night. Excellent food, wine and service. superb modern R & B music, beautiful artful setting - full with people and buzzing. I will be back. Thanks to Tams at front of house for her warm attentive service throughout the evening. The Beaune premier cru is an unbeatable accompaniment to the subtle delicious flavours .

Venue is beautiful. Staff are really friendly and kind. However food is not excellent…

A truly wonderful place. Walking in you enter a new world, it's magical. I was so impressed with the decor, and when the food came, accompanied with some delightful wines, it blew me away. The cherry on top is the warm, professional and knowledgeable personnel. I would highly recommend.

The food here is just amazing! I have never eaten anything like it! Florence Knight might just be an angel sent down from heaven to delight our palates. (We particularly loved the panisse, the eel, and the desserts!)

Superb, wonderful service, fantastic food. We had beautiful beetroot and goat’s curd, brown shrimp, lamb, panna cotta with black figs. All to die for. Worth every penny!

There are few spaces in London as beautiful to eat in as this. Wonderful staff with no airs and graces, great ambience and simple, beautifully executed food (fish dishes and desserts are standout). Go. Eat. Forget the world for a while.

Very tasty, quality food with a decent enough vegetarian selection to keep everyone happy. Great building and decoration of course and extensive/expensive wine menu.

Just perfect, amazing venue! Staff were attentive and very friendly. We can't wait to visit again!!

The interior is quite special and that is why people go. Also there is a nice terrace for drinks which will be great in the summer. The food was mediocre and the desserts also. The eel was terrible and the hake couldn’t be made without meat, so not very pescatarian friendly. The service was hit or miss; staff were trying to be helpful but not noticing when they were needed. More a place for the scene than for the food.
