Never been to Shake Shack in my life, so this was my first experience. I ordered what appeared to be the most popular items Shake Stack and Double Cheeseburger with fries and diet coke. Firstly it was quite busy so there was a short wait, nothing too long though. The crinkly fries were really nice, but you hardly get any for the £3+ they cost! You could have 2 x large fries in McDonalds and still have change from what they charge for their fries (even more if you load them up). The diet coke at £3.35 is like a medium McDonalds size drink, why so flipping expensive? Coke syrup costs pennies and this is over priced! The Shake Shack burger was really nice, however the mushroom burger element was a nightmare to eat. I took one bite and all the red hot cheese came out the back of the thing, then trying to bite through the mushroom was impossible with the whole thing coming up and flapping on my chin! The double cheeseburger was tasty. If you thought Five Guys was expensive for a burger, don't come here ;-) I spent £27.50 on my meal (for one), luckily I was able to claim it back on expenses! My comment to Shake Shack, sort the fries out! They are way too small.

4 star just for the cheese fries. cheese fries tasted so good, I'm glad I tried this one!!! lemonade is a bit too astringent, fresh, but too astringent... and when I order the seasonal drink the cashier(or manager idk) was a bit confused, about what is the seasonal drink(I mean at least you need to know what is writing on your own menu right?) and after I ordered and pay already for mine seasonal lemonade they say they don't have it right now...that was really really confusing tbf!!!! and for burgers they are too small !! tbh the price it's a bit high compared with the quality and quantity here.

Good, real tasting burgers. Chocolate milkshakes are good too. Service was a little slow, but then if you want a freshly made burger it will be. Its on the more expensive side, a standard burger and milkshake was over £10.

Really Great Food!!! The pride shake was so lovely & it’s great that a £1 is donated from the purchase! The chicken bites were really tasty and the chips too with the cheese sauce, bacon and spring onion yummy!!! The staff are not the happiest which is a shame as it doesn’t match the ambiance of the venue and it’s vibrant setting.

Cheese and bread was super delicious. But the meat was not good enough. It was dry and tasted weird. The fries is not of my choice due to crinkle cut. Even though they were just done (super hot) they have this weird feeling of being frozen in the middle. Otherwise nice staff and clean.

I have no complaints about the quality of the food, everything tasted great but I was appalled by the size of the Chick'n Bites. I frequent the Shake Shack in Westfield Stratford and the size of the Chick'n bites is 2 to 3 times larger. I felt like it was made for babies. I will update this review with photos from my local Shake Shack when possible. Very very disappointed by the reduction in size.

Good experience eating here at shake shack. Staff were quite polite and friendly which was very helpful. I ordered the vegan patty burger with chips. Would've liked to have some more chips especially given they were £3 but they were still nice. The water was also expensive but I expected that given the shops location The burger was also very good and tasted pretty normal despite being plant based. Will most likely return with my own water bottle.

I am so pleasantly surprised by this burger restaurant chain. The burgers are so incredibly tasty and fresh and juicy with wonderful sauces that just bring out the flavours in the best way. Top tip: when ordering the cheese fries, definitely spend an extra £1 and get an extra cheese dip and make them double cheesy (like you see in my pic) PS: they do the Eat Out scheme for August so definitely give them a try with the discount !

Ordered the 'Shack Stack' burger with crinkle-cut fries and a root beer. I thought the food was tasty and fresh, but not really worth the money considering both the size of the burger and portion of fries; definitely smaller than expected. For people with smaller appetites, you may be satisfied, but I would probably head for another option in future - where I could more for my money.

This was my first time going to a shake shack. I'd always been meaning to try it. I went on my lunch break with a colleague. Service was fast, although we went a bit later to avoid the usual lunch stampede, I'd walked past this place a number of times in the past, between 12 and 1pm and there have been queues out the door. However, I can see why. My order was a double smokehouse (I think that's what it was called) with a portion of fries on the side, it was delicious!! It had smoked peppers in, which I wasn't sure about before ordering.. they were amazing. The burger was juicy and full of flavour the chips/fries were really nice too. I really did want to order again. My friend had the truffle topped fries and he said they were very good too. He had the same burger as me and enjoyed it. If you come across a Shake shack. Definitely give it a try!

This was my first time going to any shake shack and you know what....it definitely lives up to the hype. Really great burgers and fries! However they're a little on the expensive side. The only thing I'm not a fan of so far are the custard milkshakes, just don't get it.

Very good food. Wasn't cheap for 20quid for fancy chips and double burger and a shake. It was amazing though so just go with that in mind. First time Shake shack! Lovely burgers and fries. I didn’t like their home made ice tea (literally cold tea, unsweetened as well) and their lemonade (too sour in my opinion). The tables were very dirty. There were not many customers, but almost every table was dirty, with trash from previous customers who didn’t threw away their garbage. We had to clean the table first before we took seats.

Absolutely amazing venue, with outstanding food, never been disappointed and I would totally recommend to everyone working and living in the area if you fancy a burger and chips. Different from your usual brand names, but in the best way possible. Very good size, great value for money and very high quality products. Love Shake Shack. And to 5* it my visit. Would just say, at this site to would be an improvement to have a menu viewable from the tills. The only menu afaik is the large one to the rhs and set back from the counter. It makes it a little tricky to order unless you are have the Shake Shack menu ingrained on your memory.

The burgers and shakes here are amazing. Fast friendly service, clean minimalist design, and a succinct 2 page menu. BBQ shackmeister was awesome, along with BBQ Bacon Cheese fries. Very reminiscent of Burgermeister in Berlin, Germany. This place also sells treats for your canine friends, a nice touch. all in all a great burger joint, with a special emphasis on quality shakes.

My first time having an all out feast here. I'm not big on fast food normally, but really enjoyed everything I had. My friend and I got a bunch of things to try. The new vegan burger was nice, tasted great and made no attempt to look like meat. We also had a Shackmeister burger which was fantastic, very saucy! For chips we got the cheesy and also the packed ones with herb, mayo and bacon. They are crinkle fries, my favourite type. Also, they were very well seasoned and salty. We also got the chicken bites which were really nice. I would have loved some honey dip instead of the ones they had, but they were still good. The hot dog came out totally plain which I thought was a bit odd but maybe we were meant to have specified toppings. It was also good. The highlight we the concretes which were a real treat and I look forward to coming back for more! Oh yeah, we drank strawberry yuro lemonade which were amazing! So tasty and not too sweet. Staff were very friendly as well.

Possibly the best burger I've ever had. Went on a friend's recommendation and got the Shakemeister, which comes with crispy shallots on top. DELICIOUS. The meat was flavoursome, and the size wasn't so big that I felt uncomfortable when I was finished (because who can ever leave burger unfinished?). Also went for the limited edition bacon fries - yummy. Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately I have to suggest you avoid during the lunch rush on weekdays as you will be queuing for ages and there's nowhere to sit or stand when waiting for your food while you're being bunched up against people like a pair of penguins. Make some more room especially for the poor deliveroo people who have to keep bashing into people (because customers don't care and won't move) to be able to get to their orders.

One of the nicer Shake Shacks that I have visited. It's fairly large with plenty of seating. Menu is simple but has enough variety including a delicious mushroom burger. If you like both the beef and the mushroom you can have them together in a "shack stack" but you need to be hungry for it.

Had the Shack Stack burger which is a combination of their regular beef burger and the mushroom burger with fried garlic mayonnaise fries. Burger looked a bit funny when it arrived in what looked a bit like a steamed bun but was actually a potato roll. Once I tucked in, I was very pleased to have a very tasty burger with medium rare beef. The fries were really good too - but beware of the garlic mayo if you are meeting people afterwards. It is great to see that just because you are flying the green and ethical flags it does not mean compromising on the quality of the food with is far too often the car case. That said, I did feel the price l was on that high side for what I got, hence only four stars.

We had been wanting to visit a Shake Shack since hearing about it on a podcast. So on an August bank holiday Monday, my wife and I visited this branch to see what all the hype was about. The first thing we noticed was that that the chairs seemed to be particularly uncomfortable and the tables were not clean. Nevertheless, we were particularly hungry so we ordered two BBQ ShackMeister burgers, 1 plain fries, an ice tea and one lemonade. After ordering I noticed we were overcharged for the burgers (£10.75 instead of £7 each). I was a bit confused because there were no burgers listed at £10.75, but when I raised it with the staff they were very friendly and refunded us the difference, however it was a bit of a pain and didn’t make for a great first experience. The food arrived quickly. The fries were tasty and the lemonade was the real authenticate kind my Canadian wife is used to. The ice tea was also authentic but it was quite warm which didn’t make it very enjoyable. The burgers were tasty but the BBQ sauce was very sparse and they were quite small. In any other circumstance I would be happy to pay a premium as the meat was grass fed and locally sourced, however given the rest of the experience this was another mild disappointment. Also the constant beeping of the buzzers going off all around is got a little annoying. Overall it was OK but personally I feel there are some improvements that would have made for a much more pleasant experience.

Decent burgers, but premium price. There was a lot of hype and I was really looking forward to this, but it's essentially an upmarket macdonalds but 3 times the price. I had a diet coke and chips on the side of the classic burger. Maybe if I had got a shake or something more specific to shakeshake it would have felt different, but to be honest it feels Byron or Honest Burger do it better. Not sure what all the fuss is about.
