Food, service, drinks all exceptional. Unique setting and comfortable environment. Tapas style dishes which are great for sharing.. I cannot fault this place at all and will definitely be returning when I’m in the area.

We love this place! Me and my boyfriend have been year few times and OMG their food is simply delicious and original, not something you can easily find around. And there's plenty of vegetarian or vegan dishes as well! Really amazing, definitely a must try!

Nestled in a little seamstress den. Staff helped us get a table within 15 min despite being a busy Sunday. All the food was exquisite, really great flavours and heroing veg.

We had a fantastic meal at SlowBurn a few weeks ago. We'd had to rearrange a few times due to getting pinged by the NHS app but this was easy to sort through their online booking service. The staff were really welcoming and talked us through the menu. It was one of those places where you struggled to pick as the choices all sounded exciting. We went for a range of small plates and a few larger dishes. We had some cocktails and wine alongside. Every dish was really vibrant in its look and flavour. We enjoyed mixing and matching the different dishes. They cook the vegetables in such a way that makes them really sing. We left feeling very full and happy! Would definitely recommend and look forward to eating there again.

Had lunch here on Sunday and we were all really impressed by the food, drink, service and price. We had a vegan with us and there were plenty of choices for them. They are also child friendly which was good as we had a toddler with us. Definitely recommend and we will be back soon.

Certainly a different experience walking through a jeans making company to get to the restaurant at the far end. Very popular place, with very friendly & competent staff. The meal was excellent, eaten in a tapas style. Large variety of dishes which were all superb. Recommended.

Amazing!! Who knew you could make caggage so delicious! The roast chicken is one of the best I've ever had super moist and Smokey. Wish they opened during the week too. The trout tacos were also delicious and fresh - another must order.

What a friendly unexpected welcome from the guys at Slowburn. We did not book at the Truman Social and popped over for a bite to eat not expecting too much but wow it’s fantastic some of the best I’ve tasted it’s all about the food. Loved it so much must do it again and have recommended to friends this place won’t be hidden away for long !!

We had dinner at SlowBurn yesterday and we had a brilliant evening. Every dish was delicious, and the attention to detail was obvious. Service was friendly, attentive, efficient and very knowledgeable. Would 100% recommend.

What a lovely place, the staff were really friendly! It's hip but not pretentious. Quirky little place, cool atmosphere, a night to remember and puddings to die for. Will be back!

Very mixed. Some dishes were great, some really disappointing. Laarb on the starters had nothing to do with laarb - lacking punchy flavours and herbs, it was just cooked mushrooms - very confusing. Mussels escabeche tasted only of vinegar - none of the ingredients mentioned on the menu. Also the pricing seems very odd. Non-alcoholic cocktails cost the same or more than alcohol. £9.50 for a non-alcoholic drink?! Very strange. The starters and the dishes in the middle section of the menu are all similar size and effort, yet the middle section is significantly more expensive than the starters. Paying nearly £10 for small veg dishes feels odd to say the least.. all in all interesting set up at the back of the jeans factory but just wish food was slightly better and priced accordingly.

Had the chicken but the real stars of the show are the vegetable based dishes and the cocktails. Really interesting sharing plates and great Negroni's. A little pricy for what is essentially vegetable tapas but the good is freshly prepared and sustainably sourced. 8/10 would recommend.

I don't often find myself in this part of town, but will definitely be back! Outstanding food, wonderful flavours and dishes which can be shared so you try many different choices from the menu. The guys who run this restaurant deserve to do well - it's delicious and service was delightfully friendly. Highly recommended.

Amazing food in an unlikely location! Smoked chicken deserves particular praise- the best I have had to date. The pasta was also amazingly flavoured, but in a totally different way. Highly reccomended- go with a friend and share as they suggest (we had 1 big, 1 medium and 2 small dishes).

What a gem! Eating indoors gives the opportunity to sit at the back of a warehouse space shared with Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, affording a very interesting view of the denim workshop. We went with the suggested two starters, three sides and main, all to share. Everything tasted delicious, beautiful fresh flavours, all very moreish. The single dessert optiom was ever so good too. I am left wondering why I've never paired strawberry and tarragon with my artichokes bwfore, and we're looking forward to returning.

If you're looking for a classy takeaway this is it. Amazing tastes and flavours, high quality produce and great service. The website is super easy to use and there's lots of choice for meat eaters and vegetarians. I highly recommend the pork belly and the celeriac!
