Good food, amazing atmosphere.
The service was exceptional. Antonio and Judex made us feel so welcome. Very smiley, friendly, great sense of humour.
They even asked us if we want to move to a table with a view once it was available.
Thanks guys!!
Will come back!

Wow…. I was so impressed! What a menu! If you’re a fish lover, you must try this place out. Every dish we had was brilliant. The taste was absolute succulence. We had starters, mains and desserts…. The 3 of us had amazing meals. Our waiter was very friendly. Totally coming back!!

I can honestly say this was THE best seafood I have ever tasted!!! The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location overlooking the Thames. The staff are welcoming & friendly and cannot do enough for you - very attentive. The choice of food on the menu is amazing and looking at other dishes served to other tables, the food looked amazing. The prices are not cheap, however the food isn't either. The quality of the food is of the highest standard Definitely recommend Smiths!

The food. 10/10.
Everything was cooked to perfection. Great flavours. Fresh produce. You can really taste the quality. The portions were larger than anticipated. And the chips, crispy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside. The shellfish soup got better and better with each mouthful.
The restaurant setting.
Beautiful. Loved the Christmas decorations. Seating was very comfortable. All the other diners seemed merry and happy.
The service. 6/10.
Bit hit and miss. Some of the staff could be more personable. Some of the servers were out of their depth/overwhelmed. There wasn’t really any teamwork/communication between the servers. Tried to get the attention of one server to be told they’ll be with me, only for them to tell me my original server will get to me, and then later for them to tell another colleague to tend to me instead. I overheard one server being told by a colleague to “have patience” when dealing with a large party. The first beer we ordered was flat. This was quickly replaced with another and apologies. Asked for some hot water without lemon, and was given hot water with lemon. Bill reflected two beers even though we had only had one. One peeve was the server reaching across us to clear plates at the further end of the table when there was plenty of room/space for them to do it if they had only walked round our table (there were only three of us). Some of the staff are obviously unhappy.
The aforementioned aside, the Maitre D was absolutely lovely. Very personable and had good attention to detail. And the other server in our area was also very pleasant and good at his job.
I would still recommend the restaurant because the food is outstanding.

Had dinner there with my husband last night. He’s dined there several times before and really enjoyed it. It was absolutely great. From the moment we walked in, the hostess and coat check were so pleasant and friendly. We didn’t care for our banquette seat - it was a very crowded corner - so they found us a nice individual table by the window. The food was amazing! Fresh, tasty, well presented and good size portions. Our waiter was delightful. Professional, charming, attentive and appeared to be very happy in his work. The price of the meal with drinks was very reasonable we thought. Service is included but we tipped our waiter anyway - it was well deserved! We stopped in the bar for drinks on the way out - the staff were again lovely. The manager comped our drinks which was a nice touch. When everything about a restaurant is great, it comes from the top down. Whoever is running the show at Smiths, kudos to you! You’re doing a great job.

Had a fantastic meal here. The view was great, service was excellent, the staff fantastic and had some of the tastiest food I have had in a long while. The portions were huge so I was glad I didn't have a starter, so if you are going be warned that the main course (before you add vegetable sides dishes) is substantial. The sides were excellent as well as dessert and I couldn't get enough of the Mandarin Behaviour cocktail! The only negative was due to the big open space all the sound bounced around the restaurant so it was often difficult to hear the conversation at my own table but this would in no way stop me going back to or recommending this restaurant to everyone.

Visited for a birthday dinner. It was an excellent experience. I ordered crab for starter but to be honest it was short of my expectations given the price point. I returned it, but was pleasantly surprised when it came back to my table after having under gone a bit of a zhuzh. It now looked less like a £5 shop bought dressed crab and tasted very good. For mains we both went for Halibut, one as the special. The portion sizes were first rate, and super tasty. The melting chocolate cake desert also hit the spot. I would have no hesitation recommending the restaurant and it could argue to have the crown of best fish restaurant in London.

Brilliant food matched by brilliant service in a lovely setting.
One of the starters was too spicy for my pregnant wife, and was promptly exchanged without fuss almost instantly, so that we could still eat together.
The seafood dishes we had overall were decently portioned and expertly cooked.
Various attention to details from the service staff was a level above in comparison to other fine dining establishments we have visited.

Place is just wonderful, could never tire of coming here. Oysters, tuna tataki and prawns in tomato & chilli sauce. All delicious and washed down with a FAB 1er Cru Chablis.
