Best freshly made fish and chips in london. One of our local favourites and the smell makes you want to come in for some delicious food. Short summary Atmosphere - welcoming and homely Staff and management - super friendly Kid friendly - yes, will become one of their favourites Menu and range selection - classics chippy menu and good Recommend to friends and family - yes, for sharing on days you don’t feel like cooking Cleanliness - yes Notes - must try the curry sauce with the chips

Love something fishy, been coming since i was a baby and its never changed. Same friendly service, same locals, same decor, menu and prices have only gone up minmally over 20 years with inflation. Very reasonable prices, for good hearty portion. Pie and mash tasty and traditional and the fish and chips is great too. Proper British grub, and a good affordable london fish n chips. LOVE IT, would recommend. Always eat here after doing my shopping

Took my friend here while he was in holiday, I was in the bank,.he doesn't speak much English but the staff helped him. He choose us 2 large cod and chips and freshly cooked with skin on. I've run a chip ship for 10years and the cod was fantastic couldn't fault it, the chips to perfection and you could tell the oil had been changed freshly, think the prices were reasonable on the food but may want to consider the price of water. Great food.

It is the best eating place in Lewisham,and judging by the amount of customers they have it seems I'm not the only one who thinks so. The food is fresh and tastes great the staff are polite and quick to serve, its very bright and clean. I will continue to eat there whenever I'm shopping in Lewisham.

Something Fishy has been my favourite place to go for either breakfast or lunch for many years. They offer a wide range of breakfasts, sausages (battered, savaloys and jumbo). Pie n Mash with either liquor or gravy. As well as great tea and coffee. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the establishment overall is always clean. I would always recommend this place to locals and visitors to Lewisham alike.

Cheap and cheerful and the food is excellent. One of the few local places left that sells pie and mash (and liquor) with stewed and jellied eels also available. They make a good cuppa too.

Consistently good traditional cod and chips. Tried small cod portion. Plenty of cod with light tasty batter. Comes with slice of lemon and sacet of tarter sauce. No extra charge. Very reasonably price. Cod always made fresh at order.

Good old fashioned proper fish and chips shop, full of customers and with a good menu. Friendly staff and quick service. The food is generally good quality and they charge a bit for it but I'd say its worth it! Better in my opinion than any other in Lewisham, my preference over the Brockley Rock which has a good reputation

V good fish and chips in a traditional style with both takeaway and eat in options in the middle of Lewisham. It does all the usual stuff and there's plenty of seating inside and a small area outside. The only negative was the windows were open and one of the waitresses was having a cigarette break and all the smoke was coming in through the window.

My cousin took me to something fishy in Lewisham and the haddock was fresh and cook to order, the chips were freshly done and i enjoyed it very much. My cousin know how fussy i am about fresh fish, i know when hadock is white and fresh taste. So i never have fish&chips because these days the shops are doing a fish that looks like haddock and passing it off as real haddock to people who dont know the difference and will eat anything!. 🐟🐠

3 Star based only on the pie, Mash and liqour. Soggy pie pretty tasteless and average. Liquor watery and tasteless. No seasoning so drench in t sauce and salt. Fish and chips look better but will let you know next time.3 star because they try hard and serve many people. Smell is great. Just need the pie to follow in vein.
