An excellent meal...good quality meats ,breads and salads..plus they have a good vegan menu as well. . They always seem to be full with locals which is a good sign. Not too expensive either. They do sell beers and other alcohols. Worth the effort

Somine is the most authentic, real, flavoured, value for money turkish spot there is in London. They are there from morning to early morning. To serve you what your hearts content. Soups, stews, kebabs, salads you name it they have it all thanks to the chefs. The men in the back cooking up the meat and the Turkish women in the back cooking up a blessing just how your mum makes at home. I used to go 3/4 x a week for years. If you haven’t already been and you’re from the area just try it. Try the stew options. The lamb/ meat stew was my favourite. Sides, pickles, bread and stew all come together.

Turkish Manti deliciously served with garlic yoghurt and chilli. The soft shell of the Manti breaks gently in your mouth with mouthwatering lamb bursting out. Simple but hearty Turkish stews served with salad, pickles, bread and rice. A fixture of Kingsland road for a long time. Comforting food, good portions, quick service, no nonsense lokanta (Turkish worker's lunch spot) style. Nice big windows on a street corner if you want to people-watch or just sit there on a rainy day and get cheered up with some nourishing hot food I remember it used to be crazy cheap around the mid-noughties (£4 for the whole meal IIRC!). More like a £10 or £12 these days, which is not so bad considering, although you can get fancier versions of these stews in other nearby restaurants for a similar price, there's still a nostalgia that brings me back sometimes.

The food was soo soo good, meat so tender and portion massive. You moved us to a table by the window once free and fave us a complimentary dessert. Love love love this restaurant! I regularly take my young family here to eat, but during the pandemic this has of course not been happening as often as we’d like! But thank God for technology featuring Deliveroo! The manager Gee is just the best. All the staff are very friendly and pay so much attention to customer satisfaction, and they never get complacent. Now onto the food. The lamb here is so fresh and juicy. The seasoning is also the best on this high street, even for the bread and rice! Freshest tasting hummus too. Oh and the sigara boregi (filo parcels) are our favourite starter - very yummy!

Wow what a treasure! Definitely one of the best tasting food so far in London. Bang for your buck! Even had leftovers for lunch the next day. Staff were fantastic they even helped holding my grandson so were could eat! I'll certainly be visiting again.

Fantastic food, I have been a regular customer for almost 4 years, consistency in flavours of their dishes, you have to try the mix grill and the stews, portions are a filling and it's homemade food, as a Chef I check for health and safety first specially when I am taking the little one for a healthy meal and he loves the flavours. Also the staff members makes you feel warmly welcomed every time. The place is really clean and I take a sneaky peek when going down and look at the ladies preparing and cooking the food, not to mention their manager whose on top of everything and checking on the dishes before it's been served to each customer to meet the standards.

This is local to me and have been here a few times. Service is good and the food is especially good. They serve up traditional turkish stews which are delicious. Price is good too! Try the Adana wrap with half lamb shish and half kofte, and a sweet desert called Saray Burma. A spicy delicacy of lamb with fresh Turkish bread garnished with the salad and chilli sauce and mint sauce which tizzle your taste buds.

One of the most delicious homemade Turkish food place. Once you enter you can find a variety of fresh and delicious food on your left side by the windows. Lahana sarma, aubergine meat dish, chicken sautéed dish and lots of kebaps. i Highly recommend this place. especially if you like home made food it is the best coice. In a land of few and far between late-night/ all-night joints, Somine shines like the proverbial beacon. However, the food and service are pretty inconsistent varying between incredible and welcoming to overcooked and indifferent, seemingly at random. Overall, well worth a visit if you're in dalston in the wee hours .

Top quality and delicious food to eat in or take away, this is my favourite place to eat on Stoke Newington Road. I particularly reccommend the rice which has a hint of sesame, and bread which perfectly soaks up the stew juices. Bonus points for serving green tea as well as the usual Turkish and mint. Located a few minutes walk from Dalston Kingsland Overground station.
