We had a great experience here. We weren’t sure if it was more of a takeaway place as there wasn’t ever such a lot of ambience, however, we were wrong. The chef came out immediately to talk us through our choices and was really friendly and informative. We ordered loads and absolutely loved it. The mutton curry was incredible and the mutton chettinadu (sorry if that’s spelt wrong it’s from memory) we also ordered a chicken tikka masala which I can’t really comment on as I’m not a fan of it as a dish but it wasn’t bright red with food colouring. Everything was so reasonably priced and the service was great. We only wish we lived nearby (we were in the area for work) as my husband particularly didn’t feel he’d had such a nice curry since a holiday in India.

We had an amazing Indian food here. We wanted to try this place the previous night but due to high orders they didn't let us dine in, so had to go to another restaurant, which was really terrible. This time we wanted to try this, man!!!! This place is awesome. We really loved the flavour and the taste. We ordered butter Naan and chicken tikka masala, It is exactly like how i used to hav in India. Everything was so good. We will be going to this place again to try few more dishes. Will update that as well, with photos... Love this place...

Food is good and with the name it is very spicy with chilli flakes you see everywhere especially if you get a fried rice. Normally we don't see that ina a proper Indo Chinese dish but may be for going with the name and make it spicy its been added. Indian Thali food is good though done only on Fridays. Take away - Though arrived after 25mins had to wait for another 10mins in the restaurant to get the delivery though it was not crowded. This is one the restaurant must focus on to make it more timely. Also the restaurant must have options for those in the family who don't eat spicy food as not all like hot and spicy food.

This is the best Indian food I have tasted in London in a long time. You can sense the smell of fresh spices, which have a really fresh taste and great flavours. I rarely offer 5 stars to any restaurant, but they fully deserve it. The dinner was amazing, and they were quite flexible with my specific requests. The service was nice and helpful, the dishes were excellent, and the restaurant had a wonderful and relaxing ambiance with everything being freshly prepared.

Another perfect restaurant for an Indian traditional foodzz.. Love to have dosa, but the most favorite is fish fry and one of the best dishes. Hardly goes for the dine to have the best dinner called dosha!!!! I recommend my friends try this hotel at least once to get different flavored food in London...

Oh Lovely, their taste was so yummy, it was so happened to visit this restaurant first time on Wwdnesday and to my luck their wednesday special for lunch was Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani. I ordered one had it, very tasty, perfect original Hyderabad Moghul Biryani. Ideally located near Tolworth Tower in Surbiton, UK, They have nice seating arrangements, lovely and pleasing staffs. I recommend this place.

Spice house restaurant has become one of my favourite one in recent times. The best Indian cuisine that people must try,one of the favourite food I loved is the chicken fried rice the taste and quantity of the food was extra ordinary the best ever tried fried rice in Uk. Onion pakoda out of the world the crispness that comes out for every bite loved it. I would recommend people to try their foods and sure you would come out with great satisfaction. Price wise also very nominal and quantity of one parcel worth 2 people could share it. Please do visit and don’t miss it 😋😋😋

Use this restaurant near 5 years now. Personally, taste is the best in Tolworth and surrouding area (for my own taste). However, portion is too small. Price looks increased from last year which was the among the cheapest but portion is same or less than before. Chicken Curry with bone is ok but other dish was so small. Hardly have any sauce, some pieces of meat with sprinkles of curry sauce on them. Mango lassi is 2.5 quid and only filled half the plastic container which is less than a half pint. If you could give 1.5 time more of current portion, then, you will be the best in this area.

We had a takeaway from here last night and cannot recommend it enough; definitely the best Indian takeaway we have ever had! It’s very rare to find a proper Indian that delivers in this area and were blown away by the taste, portion size and friendliness of their staff. I have been coming here for a many years but I took my father recently here who is visiting from India. The first impression was WOW. Owner has changed This place place to another level. Ambience has changed for good but management and taste remain same which was always appreciated.Amazing food ambience, good hygiene, fast service and plentiful portion. Keep coming for more and more. The most amazing indo Chinese food ever! I have lived local to the area for 3 years and never tried this place before, I can't believe what I've been missing! I ordered indo Chinese noodles, chilli paneer, masala dosa, Gobi fritters, chicken manchurian, rice and chicken shashlick. This is definitely going to be my new favourite place!

Very kind staff and chef with plenty of authentic Sri Lankan food, great presentation and very tasty! Came on Sunday and lump rice was especially brilliant with several dishes included for a very reasonable price. Plenty of fish options too which is often limited in other restaurants. a month ago Been with my friends and this place has an Amazing Ambience, Beautiful bar with good choices of Lagers,King size seats, friendly staff and nice food and has 2 Televisions. The name gives you a clue THE SPICE HOUSE.. If you don't like the heat get out of the fire.... Great staff and very I mean very helpful talk to them they don't bite ask for the heat you would like but remember they are cooking for the locals ask for a sample they will supply a small taster for you.... It's Sri Lankan and Indian food it's not really meant for the Western European Palate If you want anglo-Indian food then you should go elsewhere..(No offence meant but it's a fact) Keep up the good work and never mind the wimp's who will complain about anything.... Try the Friday Special Thali it's a 7 vegetable thali and it's wonderful Thanks to all the Staff we are now confirmed regulars.....
