Naga wings are a must try. Naga flavoured donner is tasty too. But suggestion for their naga sauce is to use less chilli powder and use more naga chilli. The sauce has strong chilli powder flavour, contrary naga flavour lacks.

Me & my family went here this evening and was pleasantly surprised! The food we ordered was; 3 spicy lamb doner, 1 chicken doner (all meals), lamb doner meal, 20 spicy wings & 6 naga wings. Lamb doners were excellent, good portion size, good to perfection, plenty of onions & spices, however slightly disappointed with the chicken doner as it actually wasn’t chicken doner, but chopped chicken fillet cooked in the onion & spices. Lamb chops were very good, grilled to perfection, not too chewy, not too over cooked, full of flavour & marinated in the best spices & herbs! Chicken wings were decent, they weren’t small & weren’t too big, just the perfect size. The taste was good, enough pepper & salt, but maybe too much paprika in the seasoning! However, Naga wings were extremely disappointing! 6 naga wings costing £3 is ok price, but if I’m paying more for them I should expect them to be piping hot, fresh & full of flavour, but for some reason they were already pre cooked, when served they got reheated & not enough flavour. I told the young brother that works there & he replaced them for free, however they were just reheated ones again, which was just annoying. If it weren’t for the minor mistakes they’d have easily been 5*

Good place to eat if your hungry! Good portion size and cheaper aswell, well presented especially the Tandoori mix grill but everything is spicy just like the name! From the chicken to Dall to Biryani to burger not suitable for someone who can't handle spice or hot especially kids and youngsters

When you need greasy food Spice Hut is the place to go! This branch in particular needs to improve in comparison to its sister branch in East Ham. I can tell you now the East Ham branch has tastier chicken that Green Street. Nevertheless this branch doesn't dissapointment so much it does the job in filling a hole with plenty of room for improvement. They're chicken biriyani with chickpeas (chana) is awesome. This is not a normal take out place. Their food is amazingly flavoured and you have a option on spice level on the Naga Meals. I only order from them when it comes to spicy wings and Donner , you can tell they put some love in it.

always making a 1hr+ journey when im craving for spice hut, personally way better than other normal kebab shops, they got their own style and it defo stands out. burgers and chips are pretty standard but the prices are low so you can't exactly start complaining, granted the shop does look slightly outdated. their variety of kebabs are defo top tier though, also their sauces are fantastic, bit runny but the flavours are really enhanced. Will always be returning , shout out to the brothers who always look after me

The food is OK. Once i asked them to make it spicy, because i like spicy food, but they made it way too much spicy. Another thing I'm concerned about is kebab, they cut the meat and leave on the grill in a corner, every time I go in here, there is always kebab meat there, that is not safe. And they should improve cleanliness in the kitchen area.

Great food made fresh to order and low low prices. They are always busy so be ready to sit very close to random people. On cold days the doors blow open and you freeze, so be careful where you choose to sit. These small niggles aside, the food is spiced to your taste when you order and they will always try to give you a great plate of food.

Good eating to be had here. Generously sized portions, and fairly cheap too. Lots of locals seem to go here. Depending on where you are from, the dishes might be a little hotter than you expect. I had two nights in the area, went here both of them.

I found the chicken to be dry like it was reheated. The wings and chips are the best, and the burgers are good. The chicken donor used to be overcooked and dry but has improved during my last 2 visits. When it gets busy the wait times can be around 20 mins. Don't always believe the 10 min wait time on phone orders. The worse wait time I experienced was when I was told 10 mins. I went in and ended up waiting a total of 30 mins. They always seem to say 10 mins even when it's busy and they know it will take longer. Not helpful at all.

Excellent quality food. SpiceHut is know for it's spicy Lamb or Chicken Donner Kebab which is highly recommended. Chips are like Mcdonalds chips. Wings are soft and spicy. Seating area looks like a typical chicken and chips shop. Gets cold during winter because of the awkward front door that doesn't fully shut and let's a breeze in every time someone comes in. But otherwise very attentive staff. They take care to provide you with great service. Overall 4 stars.

Chicken Biryani, £5 including dal sauce. Asked if I wanted spicy or not. Yes, spicy. Generous biryani served 7 minutes later despite a large inflow of take away customers arriving immediately after order. Good quantity and flavour, goodly chicken cubes, boned, with the dal sauce (served in a separate metal bowl) flecked with coriander leaves and little chillies, preventing any dryness. Rice had a fair number of chopped chillies too. Ideal for a late lunch on a cold day. Why not 5*? well, décor is not for a romantic date, and the regular door opening meant it was fairly cold indoors. But otherwise, well pleased.

Me and my wife love this place than other Spice Hut branches across East London. We travel 30 miles to taste their food. Lamb doner is great and the Biryani is superb. The only spice hut I have come across that does grilled chicken burger, prefer this over the fried as the fried burger doesn't seem to be fresh. Not sure why but the fries never taste fresh at spice hut, back in the days years back fries were good

This place has really nice food for a pretty low price. Their J meal comes with chips chicken donner and a drink for less than £4. The seating arrangements are good, there are 6 or so 6 seater tables, I used to go there with my friends during college and I think that the price and food reflects that age group quite well. Service is pretty good, very simple and quick. You order at the front desk from the selection of meals on the countertop or above it. Once it's ready they bring it to your table if you're eating in. You can get food to take away too. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because during cold days it can get quite cold in the shop. If I remember correctly the door wouldn't shut properly and when customers walk in or out, they tend to keep the door open (the door stays open if you open it completely) so there would often times be a draft coming in. This is really only an issue during the winter though.

Still waiting for food. It's been a while. Summer and Autumn have past. I think they are waiting for the chicken to grow up a little. Update: Chicken is old enough now. Has left plenty of grandchildren to carry on its legacy. I am now going to eat grandad chicken. Updater: Chicken Donner was okay but the chicken ran away and left the curry sauce. So the curry chips tasted okay. They are very generous with the onions, i think they are giving them away. I'll ask to be sure...

Its a pretty cool shop. Food is of good quality and they are open until 1am and they pretty much sell everything up to that point. Sometimes takes a little time to get your food during the day but thats more because of how busy they are. I would highly recommend this place.
