T. T. P.Friendly staff and the ambience was good. However i found the salad overall were a little bit too dry for me, it should be added more dressing and less fried onion to balance the taste and the steak was overcooked as we ordered medium rare. Overall the taste was a little bit too monotonous. For such a price we'd expect more than that.
But the Lobster mac and cheese was really good :)
J. F.We were looking for steak and stumbled upon this place. Within a minute of walking in the first gentleman cleared up a table amd a second was ready to get us seated as well. They took the time to explain to us first timers how the hot stone experience worked and it was nothing short of fabulous.
Quick, friendly service, amazing tastimg food and the drinks were fabulous as well.
Highly recommend, it did not disappoint.
Y.On a Saturday afternoon, we walked in without booking since it was last minute and no table was available online. Luckily they had a table for us, but the lower ground dining area is quite small. The tables in the are all tightly placed together using the same sofa , so you are eating very close to strangers. But otherwise, the food was terrific and the service was great.
It can get quite draft-y since there tables are immediately in front of the entrance, the dining area gets quite smokey with people smearing their butter's on the hot stone to cook their steaks, so if you are wearing very nice particular clothing or going out after, be conscious of this. Otherwise, quite a pleasant afternoon steak lunch + great alcoholic beverages.
Y. K.Great steaks and excellent service! Loved the hot stone experience, it’s perfect for anyone who wants their steak cooked exactly how they like. Various condiments were also great and we enjoyed our steaks throughly. Staff are very welcoming and our server Dace was very attentive and kind that made our visit! Would highly recommend this restaurant.
S. B.The location is great and the overall vibe is nice, it's definitely a pleasant restaurant to be in. We sat outside and enjoyed the traffic passing by, but there's plenty of seats indoors too. The first waitress we had wasn't particularly interested and didn't seem to want to be serving us, but the rest of the staff were very kind and accommodating.
They claim to have "the best steak in London" but we all know that's definitely not true, however I definitely liked it and I will likely return. They have quite a lot on offer for people who don't want steak, but prices were a bit steep and the "fresh cut chips" were very mediocre, I was expecting the chips to be better (I'm not sure whether they were even fresh) I definitely don't recommend them but the waitress sorted this out for us. Overall enjoyable experience and glad to have eaten here.
J. L.Food was really. It was late and we stuck to starters. Service was excellent and we even stayed for dessert. I would definitely recommend the Steak & Company, especially after the theater.
K. K.Absolutely amazing experience the staff were exceptional from the lovely lady who greeted us at the door. To taking us to our table and then a different table when we mentioned we didn’t like where we were placed and lastly to the manager who went over and above to exceed fantastic customer service. We felt so welcomed also appreciated and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was fresh hot and really tasty and definitely worth the money not over priced like other places!!! Keep up the good work guys we will definitely be back next year as we were promised a bottle of bubbles!!! Thank you x
