Reviews of Sticky Mango
F. A.
First off, the restaurant is quite small so if you are a big group, it would be better to have the private room.
When we went, they were overly busy so we had to wait a while for our table, and the service was good even though it was packed.
Decor is okay, not much besides the tree in the center. Having said that though, there is some character
For Starter, I had the chicken satay and chicken curry puffs. The Satay was okay but the puffs were really good.
For main, I had the BBQ chicken which was well spiced and tasty. This was served with the truffle fried rice which was good as well
The chocolate pebble dessert in my opinion was just average. Should have gone for the sticky mango
Lastly, for the drinks aka cocktails, they were strong but not special
All in all, I would recommend a visit to try out some of the items on the menu but wasn't mind blowing for me
A. H.
Had an enjoyable lunch at Sticky Mango. Service was fast and attentive, and it wasn’t too busy at the time we went. Has a really nice atmosphere and interior decor. Overall the food was pretty good - nicely sized portions and a good variety on the menu. Some of the dishes could have had a little more flavour to them, but that might be personal preference (I prefer things spicy!). The dessert selection was particularly interesting - would definitely recommend staying to try one (the pandan macaron, nougat and mango rice).

One of my favourite spots in London.
Great Asian-fusion food with a twist and nice cocktails. I have been here a few times and the tasting menu is definitely worth a try. For £45 you get a 9-course meal of sharing dishes which is a lot.
Some of my favourites include the egg truffle fried rice and the 'sticky mango' which is a mango dessert with black sticky rice and a coconut sorbet sphere. The waiter usually does demos for these dishes.
Very reasonably priced and the sushi also is fresh with good quality rice.
The interior is also very asian contemporary and makes you feel like you're on a beach holiday n Thailand.
Highly recommend!

This place gets a 5/5 from me
Service is amazing! I arrived 30+ mins earlier than my reservation and was allowed to sit at my table and order cocktails in advance of company arriving. The cocktails lacked a certain 👌🏾 in terms of presentation, but more than made up for it in taste.
Once my friend arrived, we went straight ahead to order mains and it arrived in less than 10 minutes! I ordered the lamb shank with Turmeric Potatoes, Crispy Shallots, and Peanuts. It was absolutely delicious! Thankfully ordered jasmine rice on the side though, as there were only 3/4 baby potatoes in the dish. The lamb itself was so soft and tender and the sauce was so tasty.
Moving on to dessert, I ordered the Peanut Nougat Satay with Charcoal Lime Ice Cream, Peanut Butter Mousse, Chocolate Ganash! The presentation is A1, the aroma is divine and the taste is honestly 5/5!
I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning

The food was amazing! Great portion sizes and very attentive staff. I didn't love the dessert options though.
M. S.
Great ambience & lovely environment, made perfect by the tasty food! I went with a couple of colleagues and we had two started to share, and a main course each. Each one of us loved their main courses, Mamak BBQ chicken - being bbq chicken slices with sauce for me, a sea bass (Indonesian Style) and the Monkfish for my colleagues. We ordered a side dish of Truffle egg fried rice!
The member of staff who served us also helped us with the truffle egg fried rice - there is a method to mix it:) watch the video.

What a great find! The food is a fusion of South East Asian flavours, with some notable Malay and Indonesian influences. Everything ordered was excellent! The wine list was good and the personal and warm service really made the night. I will definitely be back when in this part of London.
G. D.
Absolutely superb meal. Best food I’ve eaten in a long time, especially the incredible spider crab salad. The service was also exceptional and made the night.
C. H.
Brilliant place! The food is delicious and quite reasonable, especially for central London. I particularly recommend the black pepper prawns, the soft shell crab bun and the peanut nougat dessert, although actually it was all really really good. The cocktails are great too and the staff were lovely. Strongly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Firstly I would like to thank Imma for the amazing service and her welcoming warm nature. She was fantastic with the service and ever so kind and polite. She didn't make us rush to choose our food and took her time to explain the menu.
For starters,we ordered the crab rolls, pork ribs and maylasian puffs which was divine that we ordered another one.
For mains we ordered duck fried rice and I must say this was the best decision made. It was very delicious and a must try!
For desserts we ordered the pandayan macaron, pebble beach moose and sticky mango rice. I must say the desserts was out of this moon! The sticky mango rice and the macaron was my favourite.
I would definitely recommend anyone to come and visit this hidden gem in Waterloo. The flavours and the atmosphere is amazing! The decor is also stunning 😍
Thank you for having us and Imma your so lovely and an asset to this restaurant! It was the best customer service I've received in years!

Visited Sticky Mango with my husband for date night. Staff were very polite and attentive and the venue has a lovely atmosphere. We had the duck fried rice and the lobster which tasted lovely but the portions are quite small for the price. We also had the lychee old fashioned which was delicious and would definitely recommend ordering. Overall a nice experience but not somewhere we would return to.
J. S.
Excellent service and the food was fantastic with so much flavour. Not sure why someone has said the food is bland in a previous review. They obviously have no taste buds!
K. C.
Firstly, they provided amazing service. We were incredibly late but they were very accommodating. They seated us and advised that we have less time as they have another booking (totally understandable). The waitress (Sotiria) was so quick, efficient and friendly. She took our orders, asked for preferences without making us feel as though we're being rushed. The starters were so delicious! We had crab dumplings, spicy pork ribs and chicken satay (I didn't love the chicken but my sister thought they were nice). The cocktail with Captain Morgan in it was divine! Its creeper though! I didn't like the tiger prawns but the lobster was delicious. Overall had a lovely night at Sticky Mango🥭. Thanks again Sotiria, you were so lovely.
M. M. H.
Lots of very tasty foods with reasonable pricing. Super friendly staffs and really enjoyable environment. Happy to be there and hope to visit again 😊😊
S. B.
Had my Birthday here. The staff are really nice and make you feel welcome. The décor is really good. The food is outstanding. The deserts were something else. Especially the macaron and chocolate pebble. Would highly recommend. Will be visiting again :)
M. O.
The venue is lovely and cosy, but for the price, We we’re expecting much better! The waitress even though friendly , couldn’t open the bottle of wine and asked us to do it, gave us our cutlery like we were at a school canteen. The food was good but not exceptional and didn’t come warm enough.
S. D. C.
I always look forward to a meal at Sticky Mango. They offer consistently high quality dishes, a pleasant, cosy atmosphere and affable, attentive service. The entire menu includes imaginative (and delicious) creations alongside perfectly executed classics. The desserts alone are worth the trip; the pandan macaron with soy sauce ice cream (pictured) is a particular favourite.
A special mention to Giovanni, who graciously and cheerfully managed several changes to the reservation at the last minute, and to Dae for friendly and efficient service throughout the evening.
J. R.
My family and I went here to celebrate my sister-in-laws graduation and I was extremely impressed.
The food was brilliant, we all had different orders and everything looked amazing.
Looking forward to coming back!
M. o.
Food was tasty but nothing you would rave to your friends about.
Would go again though.
We were sat downstairs in the basement. The space is quite enclosed and nearing the end of the meal a big group arrived making the place very noisy. I hope they can do something to soften the noise.
If you're going here, try to get a table upstairs instead.
M. C.
I had a lovely vegan tasting menu here. The staff were fun and friendly, the service was quick and the food was super tasty. I especially liked the alcohol free Cobra.
P.
Amazing tasty food everything was so tasty lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the waiter Kadek are top draw service was incredible probably the best Asian food IV tasted
I would definitely recommend
H. B.
I went with a group of 8, ended up getting the tasting menu for £60 each. With drinks etc we paid ~600 quid for the night. The food was good however the service was very disappointing. Our waiter grabbed my bag which was on my lap without asking me to “make me more comfortable” 😳 When I told him I was fine, making it clear he made me uncomfortable, he said he had been working there 15 years and never had this issue etc. (Trying to make your customer feel bad about having made them uncomfortable is a new low honestly 😬) Throughout the night the waiter also kept leaning over people to collect dishes on the table (which made a supposedly upscale restaurant more like a tube experience). Sorry but not going back 😬
o. n.
Easily one of my favourite restaurants. The standard is consistently good and the the food is delicious. Everyone I've eaten here with has been extremely impressed by the food and service. Never a bad item on the menu. Food and service is exceptional even when busy. Beautiful decor, great location.
A.
Refined Asian cuisine which for the most part is reasonably tasty. Main criticisms would be portions sizes, flavour and price for said portion sizes. For the price paid, one would expect to leave feeling very satisfied, however the portions sizes were on the small side. Left feeling quite hungry. The flavour was nice but I would say quite mild compared to what one would expect from authentic southeast Asian food. Tasted as if it was still in development, with the real flavours yet to be drawn out. Overall I would say it was a tad underwhelming.
A.
Nice restaurant and nice staff. Pork rib starters were great and gave me confidence for the meal to come...
Unfortunately, monk fish came 3 minutes away from being cold, lamb shank just about warm and same goes for the rice. It was a shame as I think by they would ha be been good dishes. Told the staff and I think the kitchen put the plates in the microwave...
Rice portions very small for £2.50, and one of our orders of rice never made it to the table.
Thai vegetable curry was nice... but not sure what was Thai about it.
J. P.
A really great find (thanks to a booking app allowing us to search options nearby). The food was excellent and exactly what we were looking for. It was a more pricey lunch than we had planned, but we would definitely come back for a nice dinner here as the menu options all looked great and what we liked about it was that the food far exceeded what we expected and worked very well with the menu descriptions. I would have said it felt like a Michellin style meal comparable to many we have had before of that level.
Service was excellent too with amazing decor to really make you feel like you were in a fancy venue in the far east. Overall, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and it made our first proper lunch together without the kids for two years even more special.
S. P.
Visited with my family. We were running 1/2 hour late and they accommodated us although the restaurant was busy - Thank you. We were seated on the first floor where the decor is nice and has a good atmosphere. The waiting staff were very good and attentive. However, we had to wait for. The food is well presented and very tasty but the portion sizes could be improved and the Shrimp Curry was late to the table and we had to wait for it but was worth it. Not 5 stars because cocktails were served in very basic form with no wow factor and could have been better presented. Overall a nice family meal in a lovely restaurant.
M. C.
Superb ambiance, first class service and a world class meal… making for one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever experienced. Compliments to Peter and the team 🙏

SUMMARY
Mostly affordable and delicious food supplemented by quick and polite service makes this a solid 4 stars restaurant. Just avoid the lobster as it is not worth the asking price. If the lobster had had a normal size this place would have deserved 5 stars.
SERVICE
The service we excellent, and we both agreed that the ambience of the rooms combine for optimal experiences.
FOOD
We ordered a few different dishes. I have ordered them from best recommendation to the dishes that failed to impress.
1) Truffle egg fried rice (must try - best dish of the night)
2) Pandan Macaron (must try - we expected the mango sticky rice to be the best dish however this is by a mile their best dessert)
3) Rock oysters (they were good and juicy!)
4) softshell crab
5) vegetable curry
To avoid
Lobster dish (We ordered the whole lobster however it might have been the least lobster meat I have seen in a while. For some reason the lobster claws were also MIA. Avoid this one.)
S. K.
Really delicious food. Lots of options and very good portions!
S. E.
Excellent food and generous portions. The tasting menu was delicious. Like all restaurants there is an issue with staff shortages but they didn't detract from a lovely lunch.
K. V.
Incredible experience at Sticky Mango celebrating a special birthday! 💕
Thank you Imma for the wonderful service and recommendations!
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening
Y. A.
Delicious food and great service!! I haven’t enjoyed a meal like this in a while, definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to eat.
M. M.
Atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and the staff was extremely personable and helpful when it came to learning about the dishes offered. Their sake options are fantastic and complement the dinner options very well. They also complement themselves really well. More sake!
E. R.
Stumbled across this place by chance and loved it. Incredible food. A very different menu but everything was delicious. Staff were also amazing
K. W.
Good presentation but tbh a bit disappointed 😔 no depth in flavour generally. Lamb shank should melt but this one not cooked enough. Also a bit over priced. Rice was awful.
Also staffs don’t know how to wear masks so not safe for vulnerable ppl

Everything about this place is superb!
The hospitality and welcoming nature of the staff, how nice and attentive they are. How passionate they are about the restaurant, nothing felt like a chore, just a pleasure.
The decor and the music which is so perfect for this type of place. Chilled out vibes that really relax you.
AND OF COURSE, THE FOOD. Which is absolutely amazing. The type of experience that you just look back on in life and go, wow that was one of the best meals I ever had.
We went for the tasting menu, (veggie+meat) and it was such a delight to the tastebuds. A fantastic blend of Asian fusion cuisine.
Sure it’s slightly pricey but then you get what you pay for, and in this case it is the very best.
The ideal venue for date night or any other nice occasion because you are so close to the heart of London Town.
Probably one of the THE best restaurants in London.

We very much enjoyed our trip to Sticky Mango recently. The food was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. We very much enjoyed the Satay style potatoes, crispy heaven! We would highly recommend this restaurant. And the staff were incredibly friendly too.
G. A.
Definitely had a great time here. The food here was amazing! South Asian food is definitely a winner for me. Staff looked after the party I was with and made sure we had a great time. I do hope I can come here again to enjoy such delectable dishes.
P. K.
Went here for dinner yesterday for my birthday,
Husband booked as a suprise! Faultless service from beginning to end. The menu had a fantastic variety from the starters to the deserts
And was …. Incredible!!!!! The decor is relaxing sexy and tranquil.
Thank you chef Lloyd and your fabulous team for a mouthwatering experience, we will be regulars here most definitely!!! ❤️
J. N.
Delicious Asian fusion restaurant. The highlight for me was the pepper prawns, curry puffs and the soft shell crab tempura with fried Bao. My friends loved the satay chicken sticks which I admit was quite authentic (Malay style) And the chocolate fondant was really good!! Service was really friendly and attentive. If definitely go back to try more of the menu!
J. P.
The food was absolutely delicious , our waitress Christine was amazing The staff are like one big happy family , we had a three course meal
would highly recommend This restaurant one of my favourite
L. K.
Bf and I came for a nice date night here. I'm a huge fan of Anthony Bourdain and it was nice to have a chef who was his friend honor him outside in the mural.
Food was spectacular. We went a little overboard with ordering but it was all worth it. My duck was perfectly cooked and the bf loved the fish. Our waiter had great side recommendations (truffle rice and the greens in yuzu)
Dessert was as beautiful as it was tasty. The miso coral was not at all what I imagined... In a good way! ❤️
Would be a great place for bday dinner or anniversary.
Interior is so beautiful too
D. E.
Friendly service with wide selection on the menu offering both Thai and European options. The food was well prepared and well presented. The Thai options were a bit anglicised and so not as spicy as they would be in Thailand, but that did not detract from a pleasurable experience.
A. J.
I went recently for the first time to take advantage of their eat out to help out offer in September. Service was friendly and quick, and the decor and ambience was lovely! Enjoyed all the dishes which had strong flavor including the black pepper prawns and the fried monkfish.
S. Y.
Both my partner and I have been here previously and really enjoyed the food. We ate here again after the lockdown and it tasted nothing like our previous visits. Most of the savoury dishes were like cooked protein with some packeted sauce. The pandan macaron was terrible. It was so chewry that you can't break it up with a fork! Even the signature mango sticky rice was not up to standard. You can see the condensed milk sauce is very watery and the rice was not cooked nicely. The service was very good though
J. G.
Very nice place. Beautiful and cosy restaurant serving very original Thai cuisine trying to bring a new fusion twist. The very friendly Italian manager will be very helpful and is very knowledgeable, providing good advice for the choice or giving explanations about the dishes. However I found the attempt to bring new fragrance a bit over the top resulting sometime in a loss of the original and authentic Thai character resulting in a bit too mild even blend taste. If you don't like spicy food then this is your place. The deserts are on the other hand a real treat with a delicious sweet and salty association.
P.
Nice menu with tasty dishes, however a bit limited and over-priced. I would not recommend this place though because it is not worth the money, even though the food was nice, portions are small too. I had seabass and green curry veggies (which was a main but looked more like a side dish!). Wasn't so impressed overall
R. L. B.
I enjoyed the chicken and rice that I ate on my break here. This restaurant seem like a great friendly place to work. I arrived 1 hour early, but because I also left about 30 mins early I only got 1 star.
D. L.
Really great place to go if you're going to see anything at the National Theatre (about a 5-7 minute walk away). Food is very tasty and staff are very attentive. Decor is slightly dated, and prices may be a bit more than you'd expect, but generally I think it's great value for money and we both really enjoyed our meal! Really recommend the lamb shank and 26 day aged steak with asparagus. Food also comes very nicely presented.
P. A.
FINALLY SOMEWHERE SPECTACULAR TO EAT ON THE SOUTHBANK...
Ok, lets begin with that rating. It should read 4 1/2 Stars (Circles) but I don't have that option.
Not quite perfect, but exceedingly close.
I'd recalled reading in Hot Dinners that there had been a new restaurant opening but could neither remember the name of the restaurant nor it's location along Coin Street having just seen a play (A Pacifists Guide to the War on Cancer) in the Dorfman at the National Theatre.
The irony, was that whilst wandering up and down the street to find it, you realise just how woefully under served by good eateries this area really is.
I used to live just around the corner, and could never really understand why, with all the great establishments (National Theatre, BFI, Royal Festival Hall, Imax etc.) in the locale, they were all seemingly served by mediocre chain eateries, which seemed a huge waste.
This restaurant is a most welcome addition to the Southbank.
To start with we quickly discover that this Restaurant is run by Peter Lloyd (who was very gracious to attend to us later in the evening).
I was a huge fan when he was the executive Chef at the the superb Spice Market restaurant at the abysmal W Hotel on Leicester Square (never did understand that relationship in truth, the equally abysmal and incomprehensible Burger & Lobster now occupies the site that his restaurant vacated and seems far more in keeping with its TOWIE patrons).
We decided to share 3 Dishes between the two of us, the Spicy Banana Blossom Salad (beansprouts, Asian Pear, Crispy Shallots, Mint) £7.50 which was a splendour in both presentation and taste, the Popiah Vegetable Roll (Crispy Ginger & Garlic, Hoisin and Soy Dressing) £7.50 deliciously fresh & the Malaysian Chicken Curry Puffs with Coriander yoghurt £7.00 that were delicately spicy (Perfect for my guest, though I would have preferred the Spicy Veal that was on offer on the specials).
These dishes all came lovingly prepared, beautifully presented & perfectly tasty.
But it was the signature dishes of the desserts where things (as the kids would say) "Got Real",
Chef, Peter Lloyd brought them up himself and introduced us to them with explanations of their origins and his inspiration. If you ever want your food to taste a thousand times better get the chef to explain why he's made them and how.
The Sticky Mango (Sweet Sticky Rice, Mango, Whipped Condensed Milk) £6 & Pandan Macaron Kaya Jam (Soy Caramel Ice Cream) £6 are literally both heaven on a plate.
My preference was the Macaron my guests the Mango which was fortuitous because that is how we ordered and then tasted the others dish.
As you'll see from the photos their presentation is spectacular and the way you eat the Mango is a celebration of food in itself. Breaking the "yolk" mingling it with the sticky rice ensuring a little of everything ends on your fork.
The Macaron, unlike most, was not ludicrously sweetened and the crisp crunch was just what I was looking for. The Soy Caramel Ice Cream the best tasting Ice Cream I've ever had (and that's saying something I love Chin Chin Labs).
I don't think it long before thoughts of getting a booking here will be that of dreams, but as it had only entered it's third week when we arrived, you've still got time, before this venue becomes the hardest place in London to get a tale.
The waitress service has a little time to bed in to match the rest of the experience and just by the very nature of the venue it will never be 5 star dining.
But your never going to put into your mouth, this good tasting food at these prices pretty much anywhere in London and definitely nothing like it South of the River.
Go... Go now...
P. Y. L.
Visited because they have the extended EOTHO going on but surprised by the food. Had a half lobster, truffle rice and ribeye steak and they were all good. The service was also professional, the only minus was that each portion was relatively small but overall great experience. Will visit again some time soon.
A. H.
Our waitress was fantastic on our Anniversary when we visited 9th October, we had the veg taster menu and everything was nearly perfect, only item we didn't like was the grilled pineapple but otherwise a great night and definitely visiting again
M. D.
Nice decor, friendly ambient atmosphere ina unique laid out restraunt, the food was good however the barbequ chicken although pricey and tasted nice left me feeling hungry so I don't recommend the BBQ chicken I recommend gping for tgr lamb shank which was lovely all in all a nice place to eat in Waterloo
S. S.
Loved it. Liked the basement / large arch decor/architecture you tend to see in London. food was fantastic, we had the taster menu including Malaysian chicken puffs which were excellent, as was the monk fish and every thing else, other than the chicken main course.
Service and drinks also very good. A friend of mine who went at a different time said the service was not good, but that was not my experience. Definitely a 9 out of 10 but bear in mind Asian food is my fave.
S. G.
Awesome restaurant! The monkfish was divine, and the desserts were really unusual (but tasty) blends of sweet and salty. Great gourmet find in the heart of Blackfriars!
I. K.
My wife called up just before they were closing as we weren't going to go in the end but we were told that we could come down and made it in time before last orders.
We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered. A very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a date or for medium sized groups (4-8 people).
We ordered the crab dumplings and soft shell crab steam bun for starters which were absolutely amazing. The quail egg was a really nice touch. My wife fell in love with the steamed buns (her new favourite). It was perfectly filled with salad and crab.
For the main we ordered trifle fried rice and the prawn curry to share. Rice was presented with a fried egg on top and the prawn curry had 3 prawns with the shells in it which I thought was brilliant.
We will definately be going back as we never got to try the Lobster there.
And to think we only found thus little gem because of all the traffic.
Highly recommend this place!

Debated whether or not to give this a restaurant a 2 or 3. In the end i settled on a 3 because the restaurant slightly redeemed itself at the end with the sticky mango dessert which was delicious.
What let this place down was the main. I rarely ever fail to finish a dish but i was unable to finish the vegetable Thai green curry; i found it almost inedible. The vegetables were way too undercooked for my liking; they were practically raw. The green curry sauce i also found to be rather bland. As a Thai restaurant i really would have expected better.
I have no complaints about the chicken satay starter and the service we received was good.
B. K.
Superb food, great service and excellent atmosphere.
The Thai Asian Fusion was delicious at every bite coupled with a fusion ambience and an attentive waiter.
Usually these places are hosted by other asians but I didn't see one. Instead it was Europeans doing Asian food. I was alarmed at first until I took my first bite. The chef is to be commended.
The dessert really stood out to me. It was Mango with sticky rice with a faux egg on top. You can see in my pictures that it looks like an egg and when you cut it, broke like an egg. But the yellow part is some kind of mango sauce and the white is some kind of sweet yumminess. I could understand our waiters accent so I don't have all the details.
You must come here.
C. G.
Absolutely delicious food. Had the taster menu as couldn't decide what to have, best idea. Partner had chicken soup for starters and duck with watermelon for main. He was extremely happy with his food. Will definitely be back!
A. B.
Much bigger than expected and an amazing restaurant tucked away from the touristy areas. Dinner and drinks were served quickly and expertly by the servers, even giving handy tips and notes on the dishes. Very tasty food at affordable prices. We had the BBQ chicken, Duck and Bok Choi which was brilliant, and then followed with a Chocolate Pebble Beach and Peanut Satay dessert! Very enjoyable, would recommend to anyone looking for something different!
A. O.
Great food…when it eventually came. Service was extremely slow. Drinks and food took ages. I don’t think there was enough waiting staff and there were too many tables needing service.
A. R.
From the moment you walk in to the restaurant, staff makes you feel welcomed and very special. The food was delicious and overall atmosphere was just amazing. The only thing that I didn’t like is the space upstairs were we had our dinner. It is not a lot of room and tables are too close to each other.
L. T.
The tasting menu was delicious with nine dishes, which is a great deal. Minor point, it was very crowded and we could barely hear each other.
a. c.
Fantastic! An absolute must... nice and cozy venue, the staff is really kind and the food is amazing. DON'T MISS OUT!
E.
Always amazing food. Great vegan options. Fantastic staff and service. My absolute favorite place.
K. G.
Great ambiance, unique food flavours and exciting deserts! Strongly recommended trying this hidden gem!
A. S.
Amazing food and service. Cocktails are definitely worth a try. Would recommend and go again.

Very nice Thai restaurant. Been here with my family and we loved it. I'm no expert in Thai cuisine, but I think at Sticky Mango the food is not 100% traditional, but rather Thai recipes reivented and modernised. The food was high quality and very tasty nevertheless.
M. M.
The food was very good (especially the massaman lamb curry), but the service was quite poor. The sticky mango rice dessert was quite nice flavour-wise, but it was a strange temperature (luke warm/cool) and could have been a tad sweeter.
S. C.
What a great addition to the neighbourhood. Great decor, good service but the food is standout. You have to have the pork buns and the nasi goreng. The presentation is beautiful and the tastes and bang on.
J. S.
Good tasty food, friendly service but definitely not cheap. 2 people with 2 entrees, 2 mains, 1 cocktail and 1 soft drink was over £70!
M. A.
Great Thai food! I highly suggest their lamb, one of the best I’ve ever had.
K. K.
Amazing restaurant. Professional and very friendly customer service. From when you enter the restaurant, you feel welcomed. Our server (Ria) catered to our every need and even offered her personal recommendations (which did not disappoint). The food is flavourful and beautifully presented.
P. H.
A hidden gem round the back of Waterloo. The best Thai restaurant in town with the friendliest staff.
C. S.
That was fabulous food I'm going again
R. ..
Such a great dining experience. Food was amazing and drinks was so good.
J.
Imma served my table. It was busy but she made sure we were served well, answered any questions and made sure we had the correct food. Very good service from Imma, happy to come again.
J. L.
Amazing food. Waitress was well trained. Great value. What more can you ask for. Make sure you book before coming!
S. R.
Fantastic dinner
Each dish has had a lot of thought and care go into it and was outstanding
Will be back!

Delicious food, nice environment, friendly team. I recommend the pineapple and Thai basil mojito.

A wonderful restaurant. On arrival you are greeted by pleasant and helpful staff who couldn't do more for you. The decor and music creates a realxing atmosphere whilst you check out the menu which has a great variety and a good choice for us vegetarians.
The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. We had a great evening and look forward to visiting again.

Best Thai restaurant I have been to, great modern twist and amazing service. Very special place!
R. M.
Beautiful unusual food
Lovely ambience
Our server was a lovely lady she made the experience
R. P.
Nice atmosphere with friendly staff food is slightly pricey for the quantity
D. G.
The kind of pre-threatre menu you hope to find!
Booked a table before a show at the nearby National Theatre. The team were welcoming prompt and the food was excellent. (special mention to the house dessert!). Will definitly return to explore the other menu items.
A. R.
Had dinner there on the 4th of December. The food was so fresh it was distinctly noticeable. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Also great cocktails and super tasty dessert. Everything we had was exquisite and very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit for those that want to dine centrally but not be drowned in Covent Garden crowds!
M. A.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy and nice, staff was professional, service quick and most important- food was amazing! Favourite dishes of the night was the soft shell crab buns, the black cod and the sticky mango dessert but all the dishes were tasty. Well worth the money and definitely recommend a visit.

Amazing food!! Just superb!
Was attended by Imma, who is fabulous and recommend the best things!!
Definitely worth it!!

Superb food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff

It was my first time dining there but I enjoyed the ambience

Spotted this place on a walk during lock down and was drawn in by the legendary Anthony Bourdain mural on the side of the building, such a lovely touch! It was my intention to try this place as soon as lock down was lifted and was fortunate enough to get a booking online the same day that I planned to visit. From the moment we stepped in the door the staff were attentive and friendly. We were shown to our table on the top floor at street level and were waited on by a very professional waitress who explained every dish that arrived on the tasting menu, and to be honest there just wasn't one dish that I could fault, everything was just cooked to perfection and this is a major compliment from me as a foodie, given I would normally find a small fault with something. I recommend if you go with your partner to order 1 x tasting menu and 1 x Al lar carte, because you get the best of both to share. Loved the soft shell crab buns, the black cod and monk fish were perfectly cooked and the ribs just fell apart but at the same time crispy, and please dont forget the sticky mango for desert, omg! We even got thanked by the kitchen on the way out. Top marks to Peter Lloyd and his team. What great value, we'll definitely be back.
L. R.
We had a pleasant experience here. The service was excellent, Cristina made us feel special and recommended us great dishes. The menu come with great good options of food and drinks. Loved it!
H. P.
Hidden gem in London, only to be made even better by Imma’s fantastic service!
The tasting menu is easily the best choice - looking forward to coming back
D. A.
Whilst the menu is not very extensive, the flavours are fantastic! So delicious and the service was amazing.
K. J.
Delicious food, affordable price and lovely staff
M. F.
What's not to like! Wonderful southeast Asian food. Great flavour combinations. The only challenge is working out what to choose!
M. B.
My partner and I came here during the first week of the government's "Eat Out" scheme. The service was warm but professional, and very quick, despite the large number of other diners present. My duck main and ribs starter were excellent, although I did not enjoy their eponymous dessert. Still 5 stars overall because I enjoyed my partner's ice cream ;).
A. R.
I walked up to sticky mango 🥭 in coin street and saw what I can only describe as a pleasantly lit, cottage looking house in the middle of London.
As I stepped in I was received by the welcoming staff and restaurant owner, only to be indulged in extremely delicious flavours from beginning to end. My favourite part: black pepper prawns. 😋
It was as if my date and I travelled to Thailand without leaving Waterloo when we closed our night with the sticky mango dessert, it surely ended with a magnificently fun surprise. I won't give it away, you'd have to try it for yourself. Just make sure you go for the sticky. 😋
L.
Great atmosphere and some good food options, try the duck & rice, lovely.
K.
Food was delicious. Unluckily, the sea bass had sold out, so I had the crab. Whilst it was SO good, I'll be going back for the sea bass soon (it's their bestseller). Dessert was really cool - all are really unique. And service was great. Even though super busy, the staff were always attentive and around when you needed them. Reasonably priced also.
V. M.
Exceptional food and experience, the Chef did not take well our feedback on the Macaron dessert with salty caramel soy ice cream (was a bit too chewie). He said he was not expert on patisserie and his team member was on holiday.... too bad for a Leader who should take charge and responsibility of his team.. overall great place and floor staff members!
D. T.
Excellent Asian-style dishes and good atmosphere. The food was great and the service both attentive and charming. The deserts are especially novel and impressive - a fitting coda to an enjoyable evening. The restaurant space is well-designed, comfortable and ideal for couples or groups of four around a table.
T. C.
Food was good but not so good experience with staff.
Face masks not being used properly which creates a risk for COVID in that place.
A member of staff dropped an orange juice on our table and afterwards the service was charged fully on our bill. There was no special attention even after 10 minutes waiting with our food getting cold in the table for them to clean. Just think they should act in a different way after that happened.
C. R.
Visited as part of a small group and had the vegan tasting menu. Good variety of dishes, some were good, some were not well seasoned and bland. Disappointing the noodles were not gluten free. Experience was OK as service was a bit slow though did not appear busy at time of visit.
D. B.
Lovely place with very good food 🍤 and drinks 🍸
R. M.
Food was pretty good however this is not a Thai restaurant. This is completely pan-Asian. If you are looking for a mix of Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Malaysian food, then you will enjoy this. Staff were nice and atmosphere was pretty good! Portions were a little small but food quality was great so it cancelled out. Highly recommend to lovers of pan-Asian!
T. G.
Good dinner. We had the tasting menu and we were not disappointed. Very juicy meat and all the dishes were delicious. However if you are sensitive to spicy food, then you might have to choose wisely. The dining room on the second floor could be quite noisy when filled with guests. They will charge you for still water and add a 12.5% service fee to the bill.
A. T.
We randomly ended up in this restaurant and didn't regret! Great mixture of Asian food! We ordered a duck and shank and it's super delicious! A portion size is quite good! And of course, sticky mango for desert! Such a great find that's only a short walk from Southbank! Not one to miss.
S.
The food was incredible, not a single mouthful disappointed or was remotely lackluster.
S. M.
The Massaman Lamb Shank was incredibly good!
Only improvement I would propose is slightly bigger portions with certain items like rice etc.
Service was also smooth all evening. Would highly recommend!
S. S.
Lovely staff & food!

We find that Asian food "sits well" with us when we're going to the theater. Thus, we were delighted when a friend and frequent National Theatre patron suggested Sticky Mango as an option for our night at the National. It's a small place on a small street tucked away a few blocks behind the theater -- no more than a ten-minute walk. Everything we had was tasty and well-prepared, and our waitress was extremely accommodating when we told her we had a problem with spicy hot foods -- she pointed us to the dishes that would work for us and also said she'd make sure the kitchen knew to leave out the hot spices in preparing our meal. It all worked out fine, and the whole dining experience was extremely satisfying.
H. F.
Hidden gem. Great food, delicious and full of flavour. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive. Prices seemed a little steep however they have to pay for the prime location somehow! Will definitely be back and would recommend
H. B.
The food was so amazing we wrote a poem about it (or a rap, depending on how u read it).
Blue room, dim lights
Bite
Best prawn I ever had
Spicy, juicy, light
Flirted with my tongue
Do you want to dance my darling - my kryptonite?
I am excited from inside - delighted
I am hungry for more
Excited!
Never thought I would serenade a broccoli
But here we are
I start crying, honestly
Tears rolling down my face
The beauty is all encompassing.
I embrace!
The gem of Imma, the loveliest waitress brings the dessert
Service spectacular - she’s an expert
The sweet sticky rice against my taste buds
I peaked at nirvana
culinary floods
Top it off with an espresso martini,
Sweet, but sharp,
Nutty, smokey, powerful,
Now we own the night
How wonderful!
E. M.
We came for a second time this evening and we were not disappointed. We were served by Imma who gave us impeccable service and excellent food suggestions, as well as a charming and delightful character. Cannot recommend enough, we will be back soon I'm sure !
L. D.
Giving a 3 star for some of the dishes, the decor and atmosphere plus location.
I came here with a few friends of mine and seeing they have good reviews.
However the beginning was welcoming, got to seating and waiting for late comers we got to order a few drinks and starters.
Whilst ordering our mains we thought we would order the whole lobster to share but instead we were suggested to get 2 x half lobster dish as it was easier. (I don't know) they did charge us two dishes when we wanted to order the whole lobster to share which was the whole point and down to price too. When we asked for lamb shank dish
We weren't told what dish was unavailable.
Therefore we had to compromise.
When the food arrived all looked so delicious. The crab dumpling had no flavour other than being spicy. The veg green curry did not have much sauce and the vegetables was undercooked. Maybe that is how they cook it.
The chicken satay was a great dish you get 3 skewer. The meat is tender and peanut sauce is on top of the meat not quite as a dip. So I would recommend this dish.
The lobster dish was OK too. The soft shell crab steamed bun was also OK, the steamed bun is like Taiwanese style and you only get 1 The duck fried rice was abit disappointing, I felt the rice was very dry, and kind of burnt just felt the rice may have been used from night before (unsure) but the egg on top was good.
We didn't bother to stay for dessert which was a shame.
The service OK Untill our server had quite of a bad attitude. Kind of blaming between our table and one behind us that he had poured food over himself because the lack of walk space due to alot of people had winter coats been put behind the chairs.
Just felt like he was doing US a favour for serving us.
In all fairness I won't be going back at all which is a shame really.
Would I recommend? Hmmm not really but it may differ for other diners.
C.
Really lovely food, and exceptionally helpful friendly staff. I'd happily come again :)
A. K.
Ooooh what a gorgeous little place. Food was delicious im trying to find someone to go back with me and I only went yesterday.
K. L.
Interesting decor, and food was good (if on the expensive side). It's a tasty Thai-European fusion menu. However in common with other reviewers, we found they can't cope with groups. We were a table of 8 and the service was terrible. I had to ask for a drink 3 times, plates were not cleared away between courses, and cutlery was not provided before the mains arrived. My main course was completely forgotten and after asking 3 times, turned up when everyone else was practically finished. In a display of incredibly unprofessional behaviour, one of the waitresses who seemed senior said to me "sorry but this is not my fault, it was her, she took your order", pointing at one of the other staff. This indicates a complete lack of teamwork and management. So maybe nice for a couple's dinner, but in any reasonable sized group the service seems to completely fall apart.
S. R.
Food and service was amazing I will definitely be going back and highly recommended
S. M.
Very nice food, which was well presented.
Savoury dishes were all delious, and meats were tender and well cooked. The food all worked well together, however no dish in particular stood out as better by itself, partially due to the good quality of all the dishes, but also caused by a lack of hard hitting, standout flavours in any particular dish.
Desserts looked amazing, and had hard hitting flavours, but some of these overpowered some of the subtler flavours of parts of the dish (ice cream had a great coffee flavour, but this over powered the macarons).
Restaurant was nice, with lots of different areas to sit. The area we were in upstairs felt a bit cramped due to large loud groups in there, but that can happen anywhere. However this might have affected feelings over the rest of the meal.
Overall it was good meal, and I would go again to try more of the dishes. Would try and sit either at the front or downstairs as these seemed like nicer areas to eat as well.
A. T.
Some of the best food I've had in London. And the restaurant whilst near the crowded Waterloo it's hidden on a nearby street. The staff is very very friendly. Good vegetarian options. Cannot wait to go again and try some more dishes.
Z. M.
The food is amazing, and the service too, very friendly waiters. we had the tasting menu, which is a great choice if you want to try a variety of dishes and still leave the place satisfied, the size of the dishes is perfect. Will definetly return ! :)
I. C.
Really great food adapted a bit for the continental palate. Excellent service and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
t. p.
Amazing food, friendly staff. Cozy environment. Will definitelly return.
D. K.
Food was delicious, the sevice let the experience down. Went in the summer time it was very hot due to issues with ventilation we asked if we could move closer to the window to get some air and were told "no" as we are group of 4 and the table was for 5. Moments later they sat a group of three there. The server was less than friendly, perhaps it was due to the heat? Hopefully the ventilation issue was a one off so shouldn't be a problem ( fingers crossed)

I took my partner here for a birthday dinner, we had a lovely night. the staff were so friendly and helpful.. The Chef impressed us as he would bring out the food and explain the inspiration and also suggest how to eat. The presentation of the food and the taste was second to none. If your looking for Asian or Thai experience you need to try Sticky Mango. Amazing.
A. P.
Our first time here... it's like a local family restaurant in the centre of London. The owner knows all the winemakers on the extensive wine list: "I only work with nice people," he said. Impeccable, friendly, professional service. Really interesting, original and delicious (French) cuisine. I very rarely eat desert, but I couldn't leave without trying. Nice mix of clientele, young and old. Really good value for money too. We'll be back!
J. B.
Had the 9 course meal, it was excellent. Didn't realize it was a semi-formal sit down and was running a little late for a tour and the waiter went above and beyond to get our food out to us quickly and keep us on schedule. All the same, the food should be savored, make sure you have plenty of time.
M. W.
It's OK ... my king prawn Mango curry was fine ... but the overall experience felt a bit meuhhh, especially for the price, and it felt it lacked the freshness, authenticity and excitement that you'd expect from a central London restaurant. The service also was a bit slow and forgetful. So, if you have the time, I'd suggest shopping around a bit to see if you can find somewhere a bit more inspiring!
A. A.
Nice surprise, wonderful hostess/front of house, fantastic, well-presented grub...
T. D.
Quite a great personal experience, the chef even came to our table to let us taste some new ice cream flavours coming soon.
Wonderful Banquet with lots of Ying Yang in mind, The Prawns are a must try along with the pork buns and curry puffs!
Desert must not be skipped as there is wonderful options to try
Overall a great place very close to Waterloo station.
S. C.
Really enjoyed this place. The food was lovely and exciting and the staff were professional, helpful and nice. Give everything a try as all the plates are exciting and tasty. Its not particularly expensive and a short walk from Waterloo station. If you are disabled phone in advance as we had to walk up some stairs and the toilet was downstairs.
R. P.
We went to Sticky Mango only a few weeks after it opened and had the most wonderful experience there. Between three of us we tried almost everything on the menu and it was all fantastic! Plus, very very reasonably priced. We also had the pleasure of meeting the head chef and owner and hearing about his influences in the dishes. Would highly recommend the pork buns and soy sauce ice cream!
L. R.
Great food and amazing service that felt very personal. We were very well looked and we met the Chief owner himself ( Peter Lloyd), he has a great personality and is truly inspirational. The restaurant is intimate, stylish and very welcoming. The soft shell crabs and nasi goreng are absolutely delicious. It's a must try restaurant, we will definitely be going back.
R. K.
Lovely spin on Thai food. Thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes, lots of fresh flavourful options.
V. S.
Amazing food and great service! Highly recommend.
M.
Reviews are over exaggerated. Very casual place, food is expensive but tasty enough. Read menu before coming, small selection. Building is cold. £4 service charge, waiters didnt even make any form of conversation just did the bare minimum. Overall okay.
S. D.
Amazing South East Asian cuisine, cool vibe and great wine selection! Loved the decor too.
We ordered most of the menu as we were in a group and shared all the food. The food was soooo tasty, will be back soon!
F. &. F.
Fantastic dinner at Sticky Mango, Chef Peter Lloyd nailed it again!
His new menu caters for everyone, his dishes are an amazing modern interpretation of Southeast Asian Street food at reasonable prices.
The service was quick, professional and friendly and celebrity chef Peter himself came to my table to explain the signature dish: "Sticky Mango". I felt like a VIP.
I cannot wait to go back again and taste more dishes.
RECOMMENDED!
D. H.
I loved this place. It has an amazing ambiance and lots of menu items to choose from. I was out with my parents and I think I've made an excellent choice with this restaurant as they were quite satisfied from our night out. Believe me, that's rather hard to achieve.
Lovely place, will visit again.
B. T.
The menu is selectively small, and flavours are very nice. Be aware that the serving sizes are small plates and not mains portion sizes. We made the mistake of thinking a vegetable green curry (£10) with Pandan jasmine rice (£3) would be substantial. We all left hungry, put none of us recognised the menu as tapas style, and it wasn't pointed out to us. The pandan jasmine rice did taste like ordinary fragrant Thai jasmine rice.
R. H.
Excellent Asian fusion restaurant. You will recognise the menu items from the Chinese & Malaysian restaurants you have visited before, but the flavours are different & delicious. London prices but still value for money. Excellent service. All round well worth a visit.
P. S.
Good restaurant with a holistic taster menu. The meals were served very promptly with friendly amiable service. Main downside that some of the meals lacked enough sauce and the 15% discretionary tip automatically added on is on the high side.
a. k.
The food we ordered was delicious and very moreish. Went on Sunday night 8pm ish without reservation and got a takeout. Thanks for “yum food” and “Great service”
M. S.
In the first place if you are looking for a Thai Restaurant you can move on straight away. This is a modern style cooking restaurant, inspired by oriental cuisine but in general influenced by international tastes.
The overall meal was ok something was almost tasteless and something was good.
The service was nothing particular, but good.
Dishes are all very well presented, and in some case the looks better then they taste.
Dishes
Malaysian Chicken Curry Puffs - almost tasteless, the breast was chopped in big pieces and not served with enough curry (not recommended)
JG's Black Pepper Shrimp - The nicest dish I tried, tasty and new, very peculiar
Tempura Soft Shell Crab - Good, was crispy and the chili sauce was nice
Panang Ox Cheek Curry - Another good dish to try
Thai Green Mango Salad - Not particularly exciting, I wouldn't recommend
Crispy Pork Belly Steam Buns - Boring flat dish, at least was crispy but again not an interesting dish
Sticky Mango - Looks like an egg, nothing peculiar but ok
Pandan Macaron, Kaya Jam - Slightly unbalanced on the salty side but the overall was ok
An entire menu is quite filling for one person, so maybe you should consider to share it and get another dish.
Price wise is average, maybe slightly over what you get, but this type of cuisine wants to be modern, "strange", "small", "beautiful" and sometimes tasty.
Note, I consider 3 star a fairly good restaurant where you can go once to try but is not a very good restaurant that I would recommend anyway. I don't understand how people votes when reviewing ...
r. s.
I was originally recommended RSJ by a French wine maker in the Loire Valley and subsequently visited to combine their English menu with the excellent wine list. I haven't visited for about 2.5 years and booked a table for two several days ago. I should have checked first but what a shock I got when I turned the corner and found a Thai restaurant instead but in the same building and almost the same staff, it was so weird. We carried on regardless sat down and ordered.
I have never eaten rare steak and potatoes with bok choi using chop sticks and opted for a knife and fork. The menu was brief and the wine list that had originally brought me here wasn't anywhere to be seen which was such a shame but I suppose the Loire reds don't sit well with spicy food. My guest had deep fried monk fish and was happy.
For desert I had strawberry and basil sorbet that came wrapped in a parcel that even the waiter thought was weird. I remembered this waiter from the last couple of times and it seemed strange that he was serving Thai food rather than the delicate English fare from before.
B. M.
What a fantastic find. The food was out of this world, and the presentation looked great too. There was boldness to try sharp unabvoous flavours together and it worked really well especially on the ribs. I recommend the crab dumplings for starters and definitely the sticky mango desert. A must visit and I will be back when I'm in the area
R. C.
This was a really unexpected delight. For many years it was RSJ, which had reliable food and the best Loire wine list in the country. It's had a makeover and now the cooking is South East Asian. The cooking now has real flair and imagination and the wine list is still excellent. We had the best bottle of sub-£30 wine I've had in a London restaurant for many years and will definitely be back the next time I go to the Southbank Centre.
P. B.
I will be back again whenever possible! Clean creative and delicious dishes. Slick but comfortable ambience.
C. D.
Absolutely superb food. Some of the best South East Asian food I've had in a long time. Service was slightly eccentric, bit it added to the enjoyment for. Highly recommended!
A. S.
Yet another beautiful evening in this gorgeous place. The food was sublime and the whole dining experience was more than you could ask for - thank you so much for all your attention to detail. We will be back!
T. T.
A really good option in a part of London that doesn't have many. The crispy pork bun starter was really good and a decent size - didn't need a main! The eponymous dessert and the macron were both a bit sickly sweet but worth it for the novelty
A. U.
Sticky Mango was recommended to me by a good friend and after finally biting the bullet, came down to check it out. Was definitely not disappointed! A nice touch was having Peter the owner and head chef come over to see how we enjoyed the meal. I'll be back!
H.
The food is great Thai food with a twist. Not really the real Thai food you will get from a normal Thai restaurant, more of a fusion food. A bit pricey form the menu, but the tasting menu is really value for money. Worth a try for sure.
E. S.
Great atmosphere and awesome menu. Staff are friendly and prompt with service.
J. C.
Sticky Mangos is an amazing place, the food is stunning. We have visited this place multiple times and introduced many people to this place.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating
D. P.
Had a fantastic Christmas meal at RSJ restaurant with my work colleagues. The food was thoroughly enjoyed by us all. The pre-meal service was very good - prompt email replies and easy to contact by phone (outside 12pm-3pm). Food was fantastic, service was great, a very enjoyable meal!
D. L. G.
As soon as the first dish landed on the table, I knew this was going to be a pretty amazing night.
The desserts are extra special. Both the Sticky Mango and Pandan Macaron, Kaya Jam are exceptional.
The service was friendly, helpful and prompt and every dish was brought with a smile.
Sticky Mango - what a great place, highly recommended! I'll be back, and it's the food I'll be going back for.

Fantastic selection of food and great interior
A. E.
Food was delicious! Service by manny was great and the restaurant has a lovely cosy feel. I would highly recommend the tasting menu.
K. N.
Food was slightly overpriced. Green curry wasn’t up to my taste buds (did not taste like authentic green curry and I should know, living next to Thailand).
On the bright side, decor was nice, other foods were pretty alright, especially for the Malaysian Curry P
uffs.
D. B.
The food and saké was excellent! We were walking back to our hotel and spotted this place. Based on the reviews we decided to try it. Everything we ate was great...chicken curry puffs, masala lamb, prawns. The saké was amazing!
p. w.
Dined here with friends over from USA, all off us left 100% satisfied. Food was amazing and the upsell on desert was a winner. This place is a must try, we will be back.
A. J.
Excellent food, good service.
L. V.
Delicious Asian style food, that is exciting and unique flavor combinations. Service is lovely and the Asian themed decor has great ambiance.
S. M.
Food lacks anything special despite a great looking menu. À la carte is overpriced so stick with the fixed price for good value. Very good wine list. Service could be improved, especially when it's automatically added to the bill.
I. B.
Sticky Mango is simply amazing: the price worths the food and the taste is a pleasure over limit!!
Strongly recommeneded for business or romantic dinner and if you want to eat soemthing different from the usual and classic food.
Menu has just few mains but they all good and amazing!
P. S.
Small menu but excellent choices of food. Service was superb & attentive. The atmosphere was terrific. Look forward to my next visit
S. B.
Fabulous food in an interesting old building. Excellent staff, will definitely be going back soon. So much on the menu that I still want to try.
K. L.
This was our first time there and we will be coming back for an evening meal soon.Lunch was superb and not at all expensive.its a must for anyone who likes Thai food great service lovely restaurant
N. B.
Really great restaurant and all that you could wish for... Fabulous, top quality food, attentive and professional service. Try to get a table on the upper floor... Summary 5star
C. L.
Good dinner place after the theatre. It's mostly French and Italian cuisine. The set menu is pretty much all you need to look at. They also have a decent wine selection.
F. D. C.
It's ok. The food is not bad but dont worth the money.
N. R.
Lovely food, good portions and nice drinks but found it quiet weird that waitress asked why we did not want to pay service charge. A bit off putting really
T. c.
The food was incredible and we were looked after beautifully by Imma. Highly recommended, it really is delicious!
S. P.
We had an amazing time here, the food and presentation was excellent, we were really well looked after by Angelie (sorry if we spelt that wrong!).
We will definitely be back.
R. T.
Average food. Felt rushed to order, not the best service very poor. A real shame as my peers and I were looking forward to eating here!
L. W.
Absolutely amazing...tried the tasting menu and a couple of extra bits and it was all delicious
Highlights: Pandann macaron, house dessert and prawn starter
S. R.
Great vegetarian food. Must try the Vege Puffs and Mushroom noodles. Delicious.
J. A.
Small restaurant close to Southbank area in London. Food was fine; but with the low ceilings and background music it's a little on the noisy side.
H. J.
Absolutely amazing food, friendly service and great atmosphere. Have the Black Pepper Prawns starter, it is divine.
A. C.
Good service and food was good. Would go back again. As the deserta are exceptional
J. J.
Pricey for what it is, but really enjoyed the food! The chocolate in stone dessert was delicious! Don’t forget to ask for the sushi menu...
N. E.
Awesome food, fantastic service and vibrant atmosphere
I. L.
Yummy yummy yummy. Nothing else to say about this place. Love the decor, the food, great service, cosy atmosphere. Try the tasting menu for a great selection if you go there.
P. T.
This is my first review ever, I truly enjoyed my experience here, had the taster menu which was varied yet delicious, service was 5/5 and I can't ask for more! Great place!
O. S.
Amazing food. So very original. You would have to go along way to find anything so exciting!!!
W. A.
Nice fusion food.
cocktails are nice also
C. C.
Great gem tucked away on the south bank. Reasonably priced 2 or 3 course meals available on weekends, and a very extensive wine list to compliment the meal as well.
S. D.
The food was delicious and the service very polite. Recommended if you want to try something different. It is also very close to Waterloo station, but not too chaotic.
M. W.
Wonderful sushi. The sushi chef stopped by our table, answered all sorts of questions and gave us some suggestions. Fish was really fresh.
R. M.
Food was delicious and the staff were very accomodating. I would definitely recommend the soft crab buns and the broccoli dish.
s. L. G.
It had a nice décor and the service was good, price wise can't say as I didn't pay as I was a birthday party guest. The dessert options weren't that great.
A. V.
Ab. Fab. Delish Asian fusion cuisine.
M. K.
Food is amazing here! The staff are also nice. Really good food and at night, it is a really beautiful venue.
Q. S.
Friendly stuff & quick service.

Yummiest food.. It's a hidden gem. Slightly overpriced for single dish
But
Vegan platter and vegetarian platter is just amazing and value for money
N. L.
Very nice food and causy place. The staff is also lovely. Great experience
I. V.
Amazing little place, we had some slight issues with the service but the food was amazing. Will definitely go again.
P. J.
Food is cooked well. The flavors are varied, a feast for the palate. Would visit again.
L. F.
The sushi here was very tasty. Nice and close to waterloo so convenient. Moderately priced.
P. F.
Thai food is usually good. But this was great. Sea bass was lovely to eat.
A. W.
Great place for a birthday celebration. Good selection of tasty food. Really amazing. I will be coming back for sure :)
A. P.
Good service and quality food.
j. h.
I found sticky mango on a Google search because it was close to our office, but the food, atmosphere, service was so brilliant I'd definitely travel out of my way for a visit
L. S.
Slightly pricey, but some pretty good food and excellent cocktails, and they’re very considerate of pre theatre diners which is useful in this area.
J. N.
Exceptional food and service from Manny was excellent too...Highly recommend the tasting menu
A. L.
Good food with friendly staff
K. H.
Amazing food and great service

Fantastic food. Friendly attentive service. A gem!! The stuffed rabbit on risotto was as good as it gets.
R. S.
Nice looking restaurant but the food was not great. Especially the kulfi had one portion that was really not tasty and I eat and enjoy everything!
R. R.
Good food, nice ambiance, but the portions are too small, and the food took way too long to be served.
G. Q.
Food is top notch, service was a bit long (the place was very busy) but the staff is charming and helpful

Quite impressed by the food, we tried tasting menu and we loved starters and deserts, main course was good but could have been better. Loved the way we deliberately transitioned from one course to another.
Place is nice, but bit congested and table size is bit small when number of dishes are placed it becomes quite clumsy.
Service is nice and you feel welcomed with cheerful faces around !!
A. K.
Food was amazing, experience was great. If you don't mind that the tables are close by and you can hear everyone's conversation then it's great.
H. R. H.
Delicious food and amazing customer service. We had the vegetarian 4 course taster menu. So many things to eat and so tasty. I would highly recommend. I will be visiting London again and I will be going again.

(Translated) We chose the £ 35 tasting menu. The food is very good, slightly spicy and well presented.
The point that we liked the least was the desserts, they were better decorated than the flavor they had. The macaron was overly sweet.
Excellent service and pleasant decor. One of the best places in London we went to.
(Original)

(Translated) The broccoli and the nan rolls were really terrific! Very nice staff! The atmosphere was really nice in itself, it is just a bit cramped, rather not suitable for a romantic dinner.

(Translated) Within their menu they have a few Indian and Thai dishes. If you like spicy you should not miss it. They also have a tasting menu at 35p / p. The drink compared to the food seemed expensive, but the food spectacular. What we asked for, what we liked the most were the ranges. Recommended!

Recomendado!
