I went with my wife for a breakfast and I can honestly say that it's one of the best breakfast we've had... The guy who served us, very jolly and good customer service, the food was amazing and the ambiance, the music, just beautiful, instrumental saxophone music in the background 😍😍😍😍... I adore The Strand Cafe!! They have the best staff, the greatest food and the loveliest atmosphere you could ever hope for in a local eatery. I buy my morning latte there every day and am always greeted with a warm smile and friendly conversation. I have a weekend breakfasts there and amazing Thai meals in the evenings when I can't be bothered cooking (they also do takeout but then you would miss the experience of having great quality time with Hussain, Plei, Ab and the rest of the amazing team!). This little cafe is literally the heart of our community - we are so very lucky.

Friendly and efficient staff unfazed by unusual requests. I had halloumi salad with pitta bread rather than bagel and both were delicious. Also a pot of fresh mint tea hit the spot They serve a short Thai lunch menu too. Would return definitely.

I really wanted to like this more. But j think they must have microwaved my poached eggs as the white was soft and the yolk hard. Not at all pleasant to eat. Having said that, the scrambled eggs my partner had were okay, so if I go back I'll be having those.

Have been to The Strand Cafe many times and love their delicious brunch and friendly team. The river side setting is also a bonus and great for a walk afterwards! Lovely and cosy inside (and we even got given biscuits as we left)! Only slight snag was being able to smell cigarette smoke from our indoor table. Will definitely be back though!

We had a standard breakfast each. They were accomodating with changes to items which was good. I would say the food was average quality, portion size slightly small for the price but a tea/coffee is included. Service quite good, didn't leave you waiting and fairly quick arrival of food. But before we ordered we were asked to move tables due to a larger group arriving.

Went in the evening for thai was not disappointed. Delicious food, we had calamari, red curry, pla nam prik (*spelling) papaya salad and sticky rice. All was amazing, particularly the red curry with prawns. Service was super friendly, highly recommend will definitely be back yum 😋

Brilliant evening at the Strand Café! Fantastic service, polite and quick with all the courses. Delicious food and excellent portion sizes. They even organised my friend's birthday cake with candles! Very accomodating, lovely little outside area and we had our own private booth type area. I had the barbecue scollops for starter and masaman curry with coconut rice for main. Both delicious! Definitely some of the best Thai food I've had in London. Highly recommended and good value for money too. Thank you!

Came out of kew garden over kew Bridge and on the right is the cafe - Thai based food on menu - but a good choice of baguette/wraps etc all washed down with a chang beer. Nice location and not to noisy despite being close to the bridge ! Suspect it will be silly place when Brentford are playing at home ?

Strand Cafe is just so wonderful. The owner and the team are just amazing, so caring and friendly with us every time we pop in, and the food has been consistently good every time we visit. The Thai is delicious, and the breakfast are always great. The kids have just asked if they can go have breakfast with their friends at Strand instead of cereal. Big thumbs up from everyone in our family!

Had a great breakfast experience. Very well prepared food. Get the mushrooms, if you can. They're cooked a long time over a low heat and the result is a concentrated mushroom flavor which also tastes very nutty. My husband thought pistachios? Great poached eggs and very good avocados. Coffee was good also, and we're very picky about our coffee, as we roast beans ourselves. Conveniently located close to Kew Gardens. Local characters, no tourists, except us.

What a lovely damilly business. First tiem ive been with my boyfriend and my sister and it was perfect. Rich menu and the food was great. We also had home made walnut cake. Staff were so warm and welcoming. They said they are familly working and we could feel that. We will visit as often as possible fro. Now on.
