Reviews of SW9 Restaurant

The restaurant itself has a great design, very intimate and private whilst somewhat actually reflecting a Japanese interior. All the rolls are delicious , especially the seared salmon special roll , that was Incredible and I will definitely go back just for that. However , it is difficult to get the staffs attention.

We live locally and have takeaways from here regularly. Good quality foods, every time when we go and pick up the foods, staffs there are friendly and helpful. We are soo pleased to have a good quality Japanese restaurant in this area.

Beautiful and minimalistic as the Japanese tend to decorate. The food is truly satisfying. The gourmet sushi roll is so tasty. Defo recommend.

Visited SW9 Sushi for an impromptu meal, as we were in the mood. It hit the spot but personally the quality of the sushi was similar/slightly less than yo sushi or something like that.
The tempura roll was very bland. The crispy tuna roll was nice but not amazing. We also had the red curry prawn which was very good and the chicken cashew which was also good. We were happy to support a local business but either of us would visit again if feeling like sushi.

A cosy restaurant that offer authentic Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price.
What was used to cook the dish can be tasted very well and it is delicious.
Staff is very kind and friendly.

Food's not that exciting but good portions and value for money. And where are the staff? I heard they are hiding.

Always delicious and reasonable ..simple with clean interior ... If available I prefer a window seat. My only ever bad experience was quite recently when I ordered vegitable dumplings ... However the one I ate had small pieces of meat it... I asked my other half who dose eat meat and he confirmed...Didn't think it would be an issue to change them ... However the lady who served us was patronising and condescending which made me feel really uncomfortable ... Insisting the grey pink thing was carrots lol the cheek! .. anyways I couldn't believe it.. its my local spot so didn't want to create bad blood but yeah that really annoyed me. Apart from that occasion really enjoy my experience the majority of the time.

Really good sushi. Friendly service and clean simple dining. The veggie gyozas are my favourite and the spicy tuna rolls are a win.
