Reviews of Tapas Brindisa London Bridge
O. C.
Delicious tapas with a great selection. This location can get pretty busy on the weekends but you can put your name down and they will text you when your table is ready. Would recommend the chili and garlic prawns, the tortilla espanola and pan de coca con tomate, but everything is delicious. The sangria was also pretty good!
j. U.
Truly delicious and worth it.
All the food we had was amazing specially the beans with chorizo. Incredibly perfect. Love the perfectly cooked beans. Not to soggy. Slight crunchiness with the exact amount of sauce and flavour.
The cheese was a bit let down cos they could have at least accompanied it with biscuits. Not sure if I want to nibble cheese on it’s own.
J. B.
The food was absolutely incredible as always. I've been here on multiple occasions now. I love that the menu changes as well. The staff are second to none, very welcoming, knowledgable and attentive. Special shout out to Ari and Tania. They made our evening very special!
T.
OMG - What a warm welcome from Carla at the reception to start with. Had a wonderful meal in here. Food was great and the wine suggestion from the wonderful Alicia (our waitress) was spot on. Recommend the garlic prawns, octopus and the paprika pork fillet. Over all , service was great and everything was done with a wonderful smile. Thank you so much your hard work, showing London is such a welcoming and diverse city.

Absolutely incredible Tapas in heart of soho. Loved my waiter Maciej's suggestions as well as Bartender Manager Alex. They made a solo trip so enjoyable and I left feeling very content and full. I'd certainly return with friends. A hit!😄
M. G.
Love this place, great experience both times.
Table for 6 30 minute wait on a busy Sunday. Perfect for us as we went to the pub opposite.
Incredible food, wonderful team hosting.
The heuvos roots and red wine sangria were delicious. As were the croquettes, broccoli and pan con tomato.
Would highly recommend.

If you are lucky enough to get a seat here you will enjoy a real Spanish tapas treat in the heart of London. We were so lucky to hit the moment perfectly in the early afternoon on a crisp and sunny spring morning. Sitting outside on their small payment seating area with the sun on our brows with our food and drinks was a moment to savour in numerous ways.
A. R.
Enjoyed several tapas dishes and I have to say, they were all delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful and it's also Dog friendly ! 🐕🥰 If you are visiting Borough Market, you should definitely pop in🥂
C. G.
Celebrated a friends birthday at Brindisa on Saturday evening and it was such a wonderful experience as always! The food was absolutely incredible and the best it’s been of the times I’ve eaten there. The chef Ari came to our table at the end. She is incredibly talented and I hope she’s working every time I go back. Tania was our waiter for the evening and was brilliant from start to finish. She helped us decorate the table before the birthday girl arrived, was incredibly efficient with the service, always made sure to ask us if we needed anything else, and even got all the staff to come out and sing happy birthday at the end. Could not recommend this restaurant enough!

Great tapas restaurant just on the edges of the madness that is Borough Market in tourist season. Worth booking ahead as it's always full. Top tip: Ask for a table reservation BEFORE you spend an hour wandering around the market!
f.
Yes, please. Quality of food is exceptional. Our wine (suggester by waitress) was exactly what we wanted. Staff was very friendly, professional and honest.
I didn't like that we could only have the table for 1.5 hours. We were informed about that in advance so it was our choice to stay. We would just like a bit more time to relax and enjoy our bottle of wine. We were welcome to finish our drinks at the bar. The place is very busy, not much free space to move around. You have no choice but to get cozy with your neighbors :)
I would go again though as the overall vibe, food/wine quality was really good.
E. L.
Unique tapas bar serving a wide range of Spanish dishes. Customer service was great and staff were attentive. They recommend between 3-4 dishes per person, we had 3 dishes each and a round of drinks which cost £135. However it is definitely worth it as the food was delicious. Atmosphere is great although it is loud, so don’t expect a quiet, intimate dinner.
Monday night we waited 5 minutes for a table and there were longer queues when we left at 7:30. All of the dishes are worth trying, if I had to pick one the chilli and garlic prawns are to die for. I only wish I could have eaten more! Definitely will return.
J. T.
It is at a great location & very busy because of the huge tourist traffic at Borough Market. The dining atmosphere & experience were quite attractive as one may feel like he’s dining in the hot & vibrant Spain. Tapas however were not as good as what you can get in Spain. The food used to be better here a few years ago.
V. M.
All staff were very friendly and service was professional. Quick to accomodate our preferences. Cava sangria was very refreshing and tasting and all our tapas were tasty. The jamon tray we ordered was a little expensive though. Very very nice but few slices for £22. But would would recomend and go back again.

I've been here a few times there's nothing I can fault: great authentic food, friendly service and amazing wines.
Recently, we also came here for breakfast and we had scrambled eggs with chorizo and Spanish omelette. The portions were big and delicious.
One of my favourite Spanish places in London.
D. M.
Met my son here for Saturday lunch. As always, staff were charming, service was excellent even though it was one of the busiest services of the week. Food is always tasty and filling. What was impressive was how the serving staff supported each other when the heavens suddenly opened. Been eating here for years. Never had a negative experience. This isn't fine dining but London could use many more eateries like this. Try it ...
p.
Always busy and always good, don’t take reservations so you need a bit of luck to get a table. The tapas are great.
N. S.
This plachas been on my radar for some quite time and I'm glad I've managed to get a hold on a table here. Tapas at its best, some uniquely delicious plates, fine service quick serving, great ambiance and the perfect location... and! a great sherry selection!
S. A.
I am never disappoint here. We love eating here. It's great for families as you get dishes you can share and it's great for couples as you can steal from your partner's plate 😂 we love sitting outside when it's warmer. Although the street is really busy you just feel like you're part of a really great atmosphere. I've never had a bad dish here.
B. V.
Decent food, sub par service. They forgot one of the orders and waited 20 min for it. Then, no one showed for the payment. When we went to the register to pay, we refused to pay the optional service charge and all of a sudden all the waiters flocked, which was rather intimidating. Here is your tip: when a customer complaints about poor service try to politely ask what was wrong.
T. S.
Been here for a quick lunch,
Great food and great service, Alessia and Riccardo were the servers on top of everything😉
Recommend dishes:
- pulpo con alcaparras
- txuleta rubia gallega
- croquetas de jamon iberico
Food was great and the team made me feel very welcome here.
Must try!
L. K.
We went to Brindisa because it was still doing the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. They didn’t take reservations, but we were seated quite quickly. We got taken to outside the restaurant where it becomes Borough Market.
The food was okay. I think the Octopus and Prawn dishes were the best. The waiters were friendly and brought me a new drink when there was a mistake with the order. I’m not so sure about the seating and environment though.
F. P.
Absolutely fantastic and great service! I loved each tapas, especially Shrimps with garlic and Jamon iberico croquetas. A special mention to Vincenzo, our waiter, who really made the difference. He was really welcoming and such a nice guy, he even gave us a free piece of cake! All the other staff was really nice as well.
J. H.
Really good tapas and not just the usual dishes. Some really good specials as well. Highly recommended
T. K. Z.
Lovely tapas restaurant, lots of great options (for meat eaters, pescatarians and vegetarians) and at very reasonable prices.
A. M.
It was ok.
Pros:
Authentic Spanish Tapas
Good location.
Nice red wines.
Cons:
Always crowded.
Seats pressed against each other.
Small serving sizes
Expensive for the price.
Brindisa is nice as a Spanish food experience if you're spending the morning in Borough market. Be aware that this place is always busy, so it will be challenging to get a seat. A bit overpriced for what they offer.
R. R.
Have thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere in Tapas Brindisa, having been recommended multiple times from friends. So glad that I tried the place in order to receive great service from all staff and to try the food which gives authentic northern Spanish vibes and great flavours. I would heavily recommend the pulpo with great seasoning and offers Galician food.
T. L.
Taste heavenly Spanish ingredients as you sample delicious tapas in London’s historic Borough Market, a must for all food lovers. Good selection for meat eaters, fish fans and vegetarians. Buzzy space on the corner of Brough Market. Quality tapas. A real treat!
A. D.
This is possibly my favorite restaurant in London. I've eaten there multiple times and am never disappointed. It sits at the entrance to Burrough Market so is easy to find. The tapas are varied, delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are a good size, not like some tapas places where you get just a bite or two of each dish. I'm a vegetarian and there were plenty of selections for me. My daughter and her friends are not and they loved the meat and fish dishes. The atmosphere is bustling but relaxed. I recommend highly! (There are at least two other branches, one in South Kensington and one in Shoreditch. Both good but this one is best in my opinion.)
J. R.
Such a lovely little gem in Borough Market. The food is authentic and the service is very friendly and efficient. The quality of the dishes is exceptional and I highly recommend a visit.
K. V.
Great food, lively place. Not that expensive unless you are having alcohol. Friendly and helpful staff. Only thing is the wait is a bit long. I came with a friend on a Thursday evening around half 7 and had to wait over an hour. Good thing is we ordered a bottle at the bar and some starters.
C. M.
Amazing food. Warm staff. Great ambiance and location. We were in London for 9 days and fortunately discovered it early so we came here 3 times.
M. T.
Absolutely love this place. So reliable and solid cooking. Superb service too. Best lamb chops I've ever had probably
A. L.
Fabulous tapas bar. Great wine. Nice seating, albeit very busy at lunch time. Fast and friendly service. A clear place to return to.
S.
This place does some great taspas. It can get busy as it's right next to Borough Market! Food is well favored and the bread provided is delicious! I recommend this place but do note that it can be pricey for what you get.
I. S.
Good quality tapas, although a bit pricey. They have a good selection of beers... Spanish Estrella can also be purchased in a jag for £10 :) Friendly, helpful & efficient staff. Lively & buzzing atmosphere.
J. A. C. P. D. P.
Norberto was amazing with me and my friend! He really took care of my allergies problems and he was absolutely 💯!!!! I will defently come back and see you again! Thank you for all your attention and to be so professional!
Love the tapas and of course, people make difference and Norberto made our evening a better one!
Thank you ♡
C. B.
Service was excellent when it was really busy. Food was outstanding, the pork was the best I have ever tasted!!
Wine was overpriced but other than that it was a really good experience.
S.
Still one of the best tapas in London. Great service, food and drinks
A. T.
Place was packed, but good thing that didn’t hinder us from waiting. Tapas, paella, pimiento, all dishes were excellent quality and worth it!
A. S.
No idea how this place has slipped down to a 4.1 - though a lot of the negative comments seem to be linked to how busy it is or the price (the second point makes no sense, the first means it’s good)
One of the best sangria’s you’ll try, outstanding olives with orange (a combination I hadn’t tried before), amazing pimientos padron & patatas bravas
Stone cold 5* tapas place
T. B.
Easily one of the best tapas restaurants we’ve been to in London, top quality produce, but a tiny bit pricey. We always come for dinner after a trip to borough market
B. B. G.
The menu was fantastic but Alvaro was the best one of all! Really nice, always there with a smile and to answer any question
I. A.
Food was amazing - especially arroz meloso and dorada. Service was impeccable. Tortilla was properly melt in the middle.
J. O.
Great service, yummy tapas, good portions although could be larger for groups. Friends and I met up here for wine and light dinner and it was fantastic. Accessible location and friendly staff. Good vibes.
L.
Disappointing visit...been eating here for many years, but the food is losing its sparkle while the prices are rising.
Meagre dish of gem lettuce with a couple of anchovies (weirdly it was listed under veg tapas) seemed very overpriced at £7.00. And perhaps much of the atmosphere has been lost by its extension into the market in the evening.
Won't give up on Brindisi. The last visit to the Soho branch was perfect!
N. G.
Fun little environment. I did feel the waitress was kind of pushy on us to order unfortunately.
X. a. C.
Food is pretty great but service awful. We felt so pushed to buy more (asked “can I get you anything else” at least 6 times while and while we were still eating what we had), plates, glasses etc. cleared as soon as the food on it was finished. You know the sort of thing. As I say great food, just don’t expect to be able to let it digest while you take in the great location.
M. G. d. T.
It's good quality food though a bit pricey, you pay the price of being in the city market, and a good corner, bit portions are small.
Food is tasty, tradicional spanish taste, cooked in good quality olive oil...
Just an idea, usually tapas are for sharing, it would be great to put a even number of prawns for example...
Overall enjoyed, would like to be back but won't be anytime soon.
M. R.
Nice small Spanish restaurant. It was super full, so if you go during peak hour you might find it difficult to get a table. Friendly Spanish staff and really good food. However, the waiters should pay more attention to what you order. They brought us mistakenly a dish of patatas bravas that we didn't order. Later, we were missing another dish and the waiter came to ask what we were missing. Two seconds after she brought the plate, but...it was the wrong one!! They should definitely keep a better track of each table's order. Besides that, the food was good and there was a nice (but crowded) atmosphere.
G. R.
Alright place close to Borough market, some tapas better than others, need a bit of luck when making your choice. We liked the beetroot salad, meatballs and aubergines, don't go for the octopus!
J. G.
Excellent selcetion, the staff were also fantastic and most importantly...the food was brilliant!
Would 100% recommend and I will be going again!
O. S.
A nice Spanish Tapas restaurant in Borough Market.
Great staff who were very friendly and helpful with the menu.
The food was excellent and certainly a place to visit if Tapas is your choice.
V. P.
Great food, friendly staff. Good with allergies; was given a list of major allergens in their dishes to keep with me and ordering through the waiting staff (rather than an app) makes it possible to ask questions about the dishes and amend the ingredients if necessary. Recommend the Gambas Al Agillo!
M. K.
Great small plates to savor alone or share with friends. Did anyone say "charros with hot chocolate "? Yes please!!!
K. M.
Delicious food, wonderful staff, shame about the loos.
We had a lovely evening at Brindisa - the small tapas plates make it a perfect spot for any group size.. just make sure you’d willing to share! We sat outside under Borough market canopy and were perfectly cosy with heaters and blankets. The food was excellent, with huevos rotos a particular favourite at our table and some of the best ham croquetas I’ve had. The staff were attentive and good fun, telling anecdotes and taking time to explain the menu and wines. Unfortunately it was let down by the state of the toilets which smelled of urine and the one I used didn’t have a toilet seat! Still, I’d recommend this restaurant for it’s relaxed atmosphere and high-quality food. Price-wise, fairly typical for central London.. £55pp (party of 8) for a significant amount of food and multiple shared bottles of wine.
C. B.
We visited this restaurant last week during a trip to London. We stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was very good.
M. B.
A very solid, classic Tapas bar, with a setting in pole position at Borough market. Some years ago Brindisa stood out as being one of the few great tapas restaurants in the UK. That is no longer true, inasmuch as the standard of tapas as generally improved. It's still good. Expect all the classic - tortilla, padron peppers, patatas bravas, jamon, chorizo - done competently with good ingredients. The only downside is that this place is perpetually busy.
O. L.
Nice food and wine. But adding extra quid on a flight to the bill it's like to be thief.
So watch out carefully what amount waitress put in paying terminal.
To feel like a fool not what you expect from the nice day out.
S. C.
Came here for a quick bite on the way to an appointment. Very busy from 5pm onwards, but staff very helpful and managed to get a table within 5-10 minutes. Food was amazing, had some small tapas plates, all were amazing and full of flavour, would have tried everything on the menu if I could. It is expensive, but worth it. The maître de was helpful and staff friendly, quick and speedy service and well organised. As you can see, empty plates.
E. A.
Lovely place to meet. Just outside the London bridge. Food is mostly Spanish. Good place for lunch.
L. M.
This was our second visit here and it did not disappoint! The walk up queuing app is fantastic as means we could go and explore the market whilst waiting for a table to become available.
There is a varied tapas menu and an excellent selection of wines. All of the food we had was really tasty and freshly cooked. The staff were really friendly and the place has a great buzz.
Would definitely recommend a visit here and hope we’ll be back soon!
r. c.
Good food, excellent service but tried to cash tip the staff and they said no and that they don't get any of the mandatory 12.5% card tip, seems like corporate greed to me...
V. S.
Two years ago I gave 4 stars. I thought it had gone downhill but was still a charming restaurant with competent tapas and great atmosphere.
Today Brindisa is more industry than charming and the tapas are, as a previous reviewer said, "just fine".
S. G.
Good tapas, although I don't believe the food was worth the price even considering central London prices.
J. P.
The definition of "fine". Food is what you expect, but unremarkable. Waited 10 minutes to order anything. Don't think we had one smile or pleasantry from the waiter, and they forgot one of our dishes.
There are many better places in Borough Market, and better Brindisas in other parts of London.
But its fine if you need a bite and everywhere else is full.
S. P.
AMAZING! Order the gin & tonics! Go in the evening, but I'd recommend sitting outside and going inside only to potty and party with the other goers until your ears hurt. So much fun!
s.
Very nice, tasty tapas. The gambas were delicious. The staff were very accommodating. 4 starts as it was very expensive considering portion size. Ps you shouldn't charge for basic things like bread. When your charging 8-9 quid for padron Peppers.
e. o.
It is a great place with some truly delightful dishes. Meat board crazy overpriced for what it is, unless you are a connoisseur. Stick with classics (and Spanish prices) and you will not be disappointed.
c. k.
Perfect service everytime from the blonde waitress and the food is delicious. Thank you.
T. T.
Was nice place, very crowded, good food but the coffee was bad, but they changed it after bit still was not pleasant.
c. h.
Amazing authentic tapas served by friendly and helpful staff in a wicked atmosphere...we will be back!
M. B.
Food was lovely. Generous portions and ice cold drinks. Everything was on the table in no time, despite the restaurant being busy inside and outside. Staff is friendly and efficient.
R. H.
What a lovely tapas lunch, our waiter was so helpful and friendly and the food was quick and delicious. Bread with tomato and garlic is a must!!(pan con tomate)
Á. S.
Great service, even better food
As a Spanish person in London I can happily describe Brindisa London Bridge as a small piece of Spain in Borough Market, the food is very loyal to what I would consider traditional spanish food with a modern londoner twist!
Pop by and you will receive prime quality ingredients cooked and served by great professionals.
h. c.
We have eaten here before and really loved it, unfortunately this time we ordered my favourite dish the huevos rotos con sobrasada, and the portion was a lot smaller than previously with very little sobrasada, definitely not worth £11. The croquetas are lovely on the other hand.
A. R.
Delicious tapas! Fantastic service too - the waiter was kind enough to let us try several types of wine before ordering
H. K.
Faultless!!
Arrived here without reservation (1730 on a Saturday evening) Although clearly full the Maitre D managed to squeeze us in. From the second we were shown to our table the service from our waitress was second to none, attentive, informative and friendly. The food arrived just minutes after ordering and was fantastic!! The prawns were to die for! The wine was great. Great location, great service, great find! Overall a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend.
X. X.
Lovely place for some fresh tapas. The following two dishes were my highlights: Octopus (so soft and tasty), the Padron Peppers (took me back to Barcelona instantly). Staff were very attentive and were quick to make recommendations.
J. H.
Tasty tapas, but a little expensive. Would definite visit again.
A. S.
Extremely small and over priced dishes. We ordered around 7 dishes for 3 people and a bottle of wine, still it was less in quantity. Taste was nice and a crowded place. Think they need more space and it was quite small. Attentive staff who will keep coming, taking plate as soon you finish, asking and filling up your wine glass.
Am I going again?
No as I can find quality places in less price.
Once is enough.
R. B.
A nice place with an intense, busy, almost claustrophobic vibe. They've squeezed in as many tables as they can! If a busy, raucous meal is what you're after then this is the place for you. If you want a relaxing time I'd suggest trying somewhere else.
They don't take bookings but then you only get the table for an hour and a half. We finished with plenty of time to spare and didn't feel rushed at all, but just something to bear in mind.
The food was good though some dishes felt overpriced. The wines of the month were both interesting and worth trying. The staff were friendly but definitely busy.
I'd definitely be back and now that I know what it's like I might be a bit more relaxed next time.
L. F.
Seriously incredible food. Beautiful ambiance and vibes. And very attentive, knowledgable and kind staff. Will 100% be going back because we had no more room to try all the dishes on the menu! Notable dishes were the Patatas Bravas and the Chicken Thighs!
A. V.
Food is just good, not the original, location in the evening is bad (lots of approches from homeless guys), staff is really nice!
A. D.
Excellent social distancing tables spaced apart. Plenty of tables outside going round the corner. Can queue with an app that tells you when a table will be available.
Have been here many times before and, as always, the food is well prepared and each dish tasty.
Altogether a most satisfying experience.
T. A.
Our server Janet (from Argentina) was truly lovely. The food was delicious but our experience was great because of Janet. Will recommend to friends
I. W.
Superb tapas bar ideally located next to borough market and a London bridge tube entrance. It is a very busy place so expect to wait for a table. I don't think the take bookings. They are quick and efficient though so table turn around is reasonable. While you are waiting at the bar do keep in touch with the people coordinating seating. There doesn't appear to be much of a system and others have managed to sneak ahead on occasion. No big issue. I highly recommend orange and oregano stuffed olives while you wait. A taste sensation. The menu has a good selection but I wouldn't say a massive selection. All the typical tapas dishes are there push a few new ones to me, so it is great to try something new. I have never had bad dish here so I recommend it all. As a non drinker I cant comment on the alcohol but they have a reasonable selection of soft drinks. Pricing wise it is good value. Not cheap, but given the location and quality of food I would highly recommend it.
S. G.
Surprised to see this place has fallen so far from grace, down to a 4.1 now.
I can’t talk about having a full meal here recently but it’s great for some snacks and a couple of drinks before your meal. The pan com tomate, padron peppers & piquillos rellenos are all very good. The sangria, whilst not particularly traditional tasting is also excellent.
L. O.
We found this by accident just wanting a snack. It was so good and so impressive we went back three days later to experience a full lunch. Although the food is fabulous and fresh it was the service that set this place apart. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful but special mention to the lady manager who really made both trips so special. It’s buzzy and busy with a great atmosphere. The food is simple, freshly and expertly prepared. If you love tapas give this place a go.
G. H.
Just beautiful. The sauce from the prawns drizzled over the squid and potato dish was heavenly. Another highlight was the Pan de coca con tomate. Highly recommended.
M. C.
Brindisa is great for a fairly quick lunch in that service really doesnt hang about. The atmosphere is nice - not too cod-Spanish, understated but definitely Mediterranean. The menu is full of delicious sounding things. The octopus was beautifully soft, and we also had a dish of squash or pumpkin which was unusual and surprisingly good. Plenty of healthy fish and vegetable choices. Prices are about average for good London tapas.
F. E.
Thank you Giovanni for making my visit to Brindisa London Bridge a special one. I feel you really understand what hospitality is, especially during this crazy pandemic when life has been very different, I felt your willingness to provide a lovely service was so genuine and truly appreciated!. I loved your recommendation for the dessert; payoyo cheese and figs! The salt cod fritters are amazing I hope they stay on the menu for a while. I'm sure that I'll return again. Thank you and have a blessed day.
S. K.
Very tasty tapas, friendly staff and quick service! I will definitely come back 😁🥰
d. B.
Pretty poor, good enough service. Sadly let down by the food.
Wine choice not available.
Food hap hazard. Busy enough but badly managed.
Missing a chef leader and a FOH manager.
Under circumstances doing ok, but going through the motions.
No salt on either potato dish.
Void of flavour.
Poor overall.
Without great company and a nice enough bottle of wine would be 2* at best.
J. P.
love tapas brindisa--they have very good food and a great selection of wine (organized in an easy-to-understand fashion). Try not to go right before closing, though, as the service can seem a bit rushed. The place is intimate. We were a group of five and our seating arrangement was tight, but not uncomfortable.
H. D.
My partner and I had a lovely experience on a Monday evening at Brindisa London Bridge. The serve was very attentive with recommendations made, regular checks & genuine hospitality. We loved the various dishes we had paired with wine and left feeling very full! Only comment would be that the portion sizes are quite small, so you do need to order a bit to feel full. The restaurant is also very crowed so it's a bit hard to move about. Great location for tapas in London.
A. M.
Beautyfull location, wonderful and very tasty food. 😁
P. L.
Not your usual tapas. Lots of dishes I'd never heard of before. Food was OK, atmosphere was good, staff were very good
S. S.
Went there a week ago. Only had the Dry Aged Rubia Galega Ribeye steak which was one awesome piece of beef.
L. L.
The food was delicious but I was very disappointed with the portion size. We all know that tapas are supposed to be small dishes that you share, but some of them were even too small for one person. I'm a lover of Spanish culture, food and wine and I have been to many restaurants to indulge in my passion but this one really could review their portion sizes.
On a more positive note and I really like to be fair, the service was excellent despite being on a busy Sunday lunchtime.
V. V.
Probably the best tapas chain in London. Don’t miss it if you are out for it.
A. M.
This is such a great tapas place near borough market and London bridge. The space is small yet cozy with a decent number of tables outside. The waitress was friendly and the food came out quick! Everything was lovely and we didn't feel rushed.
They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait if it's busy. It's definitely worth the wait.

Came for dinner last night. Everything was fantastic; the food, the wine, the staff. I can still taste my meal selections and wish I could eat them all over again today. Special thanks to your waiter (a Polish gentleman) who had an excellent knowledge of Sherry on took us on a taste journey. Suffice to say we are now Sherry lovers.
D. V. C.
Had a great time here with my partner and friends. The tapas came very quickly and was delicious.
The pulpo was delicious as well as the chorizo. We had eight dishes between four but felt like we needed maybe two more.
S. A.
Lucky to be able to find a table outside. Excellent service and delicious tapas.
Made a perfect Father's Day
J. E. A.
Excellent food! A bit pricey though.
E. J.
Stopped in for breakfast and had the tostadas and baked eggs. The food and drinks were excellent and the service was good. Always find it a bit cheeky when adding a 12.5% service charge when it was only two people as we like to decide our own tip depending on service.
Not enough to put us off from coming back again if we are in the area though.
K. R.
Loved this place... food was fantastic.. great quality
S. M.
When I came to London four years ago their tapas were much bigger. I feel since they became more popular their prices went higher and the quantity smaller. It's still very good food, quality is quite good and having Estrella Galicia is always a plus. But at the end, quantity-price, you can find better Spanish restaurants in town.
L. H.
Everything was very tasty, very busy on a Saturday.
T. P.
Amazing food! Was very busy but still great service and felt safe fro. Covid
A. C.
Always great tapas garlic prawns and huevos rotos are favourites
B. G.
Excellent food, great variety in this authentic tapas restaurant at the entrance to Borough Market, next to London Bridge. Good drinks menu with some genuine Spanish stars on the wine list. Not the cheapest of restaurants, but it is in London so the prices are not excessive. Both inside and outdoor seating. Outside seating is on the pavement, so as long as you don't mind being close to traffic and passing public it's fine. Be aware that in summer months there is limited shade. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit, probably more than once.
A. R.
If you guys are local you need to go here but if you live miles away..... You still need to go here, loool... the food pass way my expectations, its very true what people say 'less is more' my personal favourite was one of the starters (bread with tomato with garlic oil) and what made the experience even better was the service..... With all this 50% off going crazy, the staff here are friendly, manage to maintain their professionalism and they are all knowledgeable, our waitor was a guy called Johan, lovely guy, always checking up on us and made us feel very welcome, and Alex the manager looked after us from start to end, I was amazed by her hard work, she was doing almost everything, and it's so nice to see them work as a team, please guys just give this place a go and you won't be disappointed, compliments to the chef...you can tell the chef has passion, everything tasted fresh, the smell, the look everything, you can smell the food from out the restaurant, amazing... Thank you again and will definitely come again
S. H.
My friend and I visited this restaurant spontaneously on our visit to Borough Market. The food on tables looked good so we decided to walk in. Despite being a busy Saturday afternoon, they managed to give us a table quite quickly! We had a drink at the bar and looked at the menu while they prepared our table for us. We ordered some lovely classic tapas and they were all made to perfection. We could see the chef and the kitchen staff all speaking Spanish which added to the charm. The staff were also very friendly. I will definitely go back.
V. P.
Excellent meal, excellent wine, excellent ... . I recommend this place to everyone who likes "tapas" style meal. You find there so many different tastes and you will love them all.
Restaurant itselfs is tiny, but cozy and waiters there are very friendly.
A. P.
Food is lovely, typical spanish as if you were in Spain. However, the services was poor. Mismatch in orders, and table numbers got confused, we got charged for things we didn't ordered. The barman even offered us some nibbles when we arrived as the waiting time was long, and even though he offered then on the house, they charged it on the bill at the end of the evening. So we had to be very meticulous in reviewing our bill, and this led to tension with the restaurant staff. So, I recommend for the food, but the actual service, not worth the price.
L. G. C.
We stopped at this restaurant only because it was on our way and we were really tired looking for a restaurant with a free table and we were pleasantly surprised! The tapas were really amazing even if some of them were a big expensive (but I can understand, you are in a really popular area), and honourable mention for the waiter who did a very admirable service suggesting us tapas and wine. Anyway, the price was a bit over the top cause we took five tapas and two dessert with two glasses of wine and we spent 70£ (service charge included) and we weren't so totally full at the end we really suggest this restaurant!
D. W.
Excellent as always, always drink a fino sherry or two whilst waiting for a table. Excellent wine choice. Tapas so you will wonder what to order. Four plates between two to start and see how you feel. Make sure one is the PX chicken.
A. A.
Decent food but most dishes we tried were nothing extraordinary.
R. D.
I really liked this place, a nice lively place in a lovely location. Food was great, and served by professional staff!!
B. G.
I took my girlfriend for a late (afternoon) lunch on a Saturday. The time flew by - the waiting staff were attentive, friendly, even chatty. The food (tapas) was scrumptious (we used their recommendations). And it did not seem like the usual 'forced' restaurant experience.
Lovely, just like the Borough Market next door in terms of atmosphere even when it got busier.
V. I.
Great atmosphere and beautiful cooked tapas!
Good and fast service.
Friendly staff and great food!
Impressive open kicken with more than 9 people cooking simultaneously! !!
You can have also great coffee and there is a great selection of wines.
I great place for lunch or dinner! !!
M. P.
Nice friendly environment. Staff extra helpful.
Food was full of flavour, as well as hot.
The latin music is an extra bonus, drowning out the noise of the hectic but very interesting Borough market.
Enjoyed the wine which was chosen by Susana. Excellent choice
Thank you for the experience
G. S.
Good service and great Gin Mare, but the restaurant is busy, and very noisy. The food is ok, but it feels like a chain restaurant churning out the tapas... just in a different location. The black rice was particularly good, so there's certainly food on the menu worth trying, but I just can't rave about food that i feel is cooked without passion.
M. H.
Visited at a busy time on a Saturday afternoon yet the staff were friendly, attentive, and went through the menu making the dishes Terri of our party couldn't have due to allergies. The food was delivered on time and was as good as always. The wine (a Tempranillo) was the perfect accompaniment. The Rosada Americano (i think?)cocktail was very good too. Can't give them 5 stars this time because they missed one dish, but given how busy they were this is completely understandable. Very recommended
A. B.
The concept as well as the taste and portions of the food was ideal! This place gets packed and the reason is obvious. Food comes out pretty quick; Just as fast as it get to the table it is gone. Flavor couldn't be any better and they have a good menu full of options.Everything ordered was excellent. Gambas al ajillo, fried goat cheese with orange blossom honey, ham & cheese croquetas, patatas bravas, chorizo leon.
H. P.
First time we had Tapas. Thoroughly enjoyed tbe procession of food. All.piping hot and promptly served The waiting staff were working hard but looked after us very well and gave us good advice about the menu as it was our first time eating Tapas
A. d. l. P.
Good food, nice portion. No piquitos / bread included :(
J. N.
The atmosphere is inviting, the service is outstanding, but the food...oh my the food. Innovative combinations, intense flavors, it's so good, it'll have you thinking about your meal the next day. The entire experience was excellent.
N. B.
The biggest and most relaxed of this chain tapas has the same outstanding cuisine. Excellent authentic tapas, sherries and jamon. Because this restaurant is larger and wider, you can easily get a table and a street view.
C. M.
Super food, ambience and service. Hugely popular and no bookings, so need to arrive early or be prepared to wait. They're great at estimating how long and it's often possible to wait in the bar area, but of course Borough Market is there to kill time in. Great pimientos de padron, gambas, croquetas de jamon. All served swiftly and with a smile. Delicious.
K.
This used to be our favourite go to Tapas place due to the warm welcome, great food and great prices. Unfortunately it's only the food that's still great. The service is good but nowhere near the level it used to be at and the prices are extortionate at some dishes being around £5 more each than they used to be. A small meal for two of us with only a carafe of wine was £70 which is ridiculous for only 4 dishes. It took ages to get our last two dishes so we cancelled them. Shame really but if you've not been before and don't mind the prices then it's ok. I prefer Lobos round the corner which is also pricy but well worth given the quality and quantity of the food and the excellent family style service.
D. J. Y.
Amazing service, fantastic food, and good drink selection. The entire staff is passionate about what comes out of the kitchen, so much so they gave us a few extra items to try. PRO TIP: this is a hot spot, so I would highly recommend reservations unless you're willing to wait for hours (even then, it's worth the wait)
J. B.
Great food, location and good wine. However the staff rush serve you, ie try to clear plates away before you are ready and over pour your wine to try and make you finish it.
Please - as the customer I want to eat and drink at MY pace - not yours
Z. C.
Amazing tapas! Definitely try the squid rice and chorizo plate - so so good. The service was a bit slow but they appear to be understaffed. Not too expensive if you don't order drinks, but a beer would've worked well with the food.
O. W.
Busy, buzzy and with good selection of tapas. Nice spot for a Saturday afternoon catch up with friends.
c. S. n.
Amazing place, amazing food and the manager, she was so lovely.
M. B.
Excellent atmosphere, so busy considering it was a wet Sunday night, quite late. Made to feel really welcome as a table came available after another customer's change of mind. Fabulous food, produced really swiftly. Great little find after watching the ATP tennis final!
J. M.
Had the seasonal jamon iberico and it was delicious! Small portion and it was pricey for the size but very tasty. The aperol spritz was pretty decent, not the best I've had but good. Their homemade lemonde was good. The cheese selection was really good! And the tomato toast was really good also. The service was nothing to write home about but it wasnt bad. The weather was nice so we sat outside and enjoyed the day.
E. G.
Good place for upscale tapas in London. The place is constantly full, thus you either have to wait for a while or make a reservation. My only beef with the place is that it is a bit expensive for what it is. It tries to be a mesh between tapas impro and classic tapas place and that's what you feel in enviroment as well. It looks like a classic tapas place that you could find anywhere in Madrid (aka cheap and big portions), but the portions will be on small side and dishes on the level of gastro pub with matching prices. That being said I am sure that a lot of people would love this place, hence 4 stars.
H. T.
Fantastic food with a real Tapas feel, good range of options catering for all allergy requirements. The lamb was cooked perfectly, Prawns well seasoned and good selection of flavours. Nice environment with seating inside and outside on borough market street.
J. C.
Excellent food and service in this very busy tapas restaurant in London Bridge. You can't miss the chicken livers, ham croquettes or the broken eggs. A bit pricey but the quality of the food and the wine make it completely worth it. Be careful in summer time cues are huge.
I. P. G.
Amazing experience! Lovely people working here
A. R.
I've only been a couple of times but the food was exquisite on both occasions. High-level tapas clearly cooked by chefs who know exactly what they're doing. It is expensive, but imagine the business rates and cost of all the fresh produce of this quality?
A. K.
Nice and easy place with good food and courteous service. Sitting outdoors in summer and spring is nice but note that there are designated smoking tables out there. The staff were kind enough to arrange for dishes that aren’t on the menu. Conveniently located as well.
N.
We ate here (unplanned) on a Saturday evening, it was fine but quite underwhelming. The food wasn't as nice as the Shoreditch branch, and the staff seemed to not really want to be there. The atmosphere was average.
S. C.
The best snd my favourite- soooo happy to be back.
G. G.
Tapas Brindisa is the type of place where you need to show up with the right expectations.
Is tasty, traditional Spanish food more important to you than the pricing?
If yes, then you'll savour every bit of the perfectly cooked, nicely salted secreto ibérico (grilled pork).
If not, then you will cringe when you find out the sophisticated-tasting orange-filled olive starter you ordered for 4.5£ contains literally five olives.
My gut feeling would have me give them 3 stars, but that's unfair, 4 is more adequate had I come with the right mindset.
A. L.
Came here for an early lunch on Sunday - I was expecting flavour sensations but it was really, really underwhelming. At a minimum you expect the olives to taste good - no, it's just super salty and ew! My friend ordered the chorizo dish and really didn't say much about it and she loves meat.
We ordered Sangria - not great, really watered down. We didn't even bother with dessert!
Apart from location - there's not much good about it. Actually it looks great, the staff are friendly & I'm sure the Jamon is tasty but as a vegetarian - no!
E. M.
We had an amazing lunch sitting at an outside table chatting for hours and watching the world pass by with a view of the Shard. The food was faultless starting with padron peppers, seleccion de charcuteria, jamon croquetas and a few negronis! Presa Iberica, gambas, fresh bread, chorizo, lemon chicken and patatas bravas coupled with a very interesting organic rose hit the spot perfectly. Suffice to say we enjoyed an excellent lunch and this restaurant is highly recommended. Thanks to Dave for looking after us and making the afternoon memorable!
M. M.
Okay food and pretty quick service. The portions were well sized for the price. The décor, however, feel slightly tired, and some of the high tables are not very comfortable.
+ Honest, quick and good value food
+ Sizeable menu
- Décor
- Table size, room feels a touch crammed
J. F.
For Spanish food lovers, tapas brindisa is one of the best restaurants to go to. The Savory dishes are extremely delicious. I loved the grilled lamb as well. It's juicy and tender. The service is good and prices are fair.
N. K.
Lively atmosphere. Interesting twist on some of the classic spanish tapas. Unable to book tables, so be prepared to wait at peak times at the bar with a glass of wine. Recommend the tortilla...best tortilla i've had in London.
B. B.
Amazing food. One of the best places for me. Service was good too. There was an error on our order and they rushed the dissert because the kitchen was closing. So they brought the dissert before we had even finished the food. I was not sure whether to give them 4 or 5 stars but the food was so good I decided to forgive some errors made after a long hard working day.
S. S.
Fantastic food and great service. If you want a taste of Spain then come here - if you want to taste delicious food, sherry, wine, tapas come here. They now serve breakfast until 11am so come anytime - it is amazing and not to be missed.
S. R.
Location and ambience are real great. Real good vibes but the service is way too slow, I went to chase them on food and bill. Whereas they should be coming to us. Food is pretty legit but not worth all the waiting around from the staff.
S. R.
Been to this Brindisa a few times but it tends to be very busy and I've found service slow on occasion (particularly the last time I stopped in and was just trying to get a drink at the bar). That's what loses it a star and I'm sure it's just down to the location so near to Borough market and London Bridge station. I love the food here though and will definitely be back (perhaps to another one such as my fave in Brixton).
H. L.
Lovely food and fantastic service ☺
G. C.
Food was decent but the service not so much. Waitresses forgetting orders, lack of knowledge of the menu, looking like they don't want to be there, and a lot of unnecessary interruptions like the waitress trying to take away plates we were still eating from. It was pretty unwelcoming tbh.
M. S.
Loved the Chorizo board and padron peppers. Service is slightly off, but that is probably due to the popularity of the place. Ingredients are fresh and are very good quality, unlike other tapas chains in London. The location is perfect too, with a few outdoor tables for when the weather is good. Coming back soon to try the wines!
A. C.
Fun atmosphere, always quick to bring food on the table. Food is proper Spanish tapas. Every meal there is a pleasure.
B. C.
Authentic Spanish cuisine at inauthentic/London prices. The arroz negro was really delicious although the fried squid on top was a bit cold. The Iberico was fantastic. Service was quick and prompt, although it was quite late so not too busy.
G. C.
This is a good place to have typical Spanish food with a good atmosphere. The food is good, I recommend the Pulpo and the Patas Bravas. The staff is also friendly, and we managed to get a table for two in a very short time without booking.
We enjoyed our dinner, however I have to mention that this is not a cheap place, even by London's standards. We had a good dinner with 7 tapas dishes and three glasses of Sangria and ended up spending around 75£, which I think is a bit on the pricey side. I have been to cheaper places in London that can offer a similar Spanish experience, however I definitely recommend it if you are nearby and don't mind spending slightly above average.
N.
As of beginning of April the location is undergoing a refresh renovation ....
otherwise makes a very good and lively spot in the area to pop into for a few tapa bites and vino - especially if you are someone that does not like 'pubs' of which there area a few nearby (and all look unappealing )
Brindisa location at LB pretty much takes on from the other locations in Soho etc ....
Outside tables for when the weather is ok, also they are spaced far enough from the road to not be unpleasant. Though on a Friday / Saturday it can be extremely busy with people walking passed.
Reasonable selection of a variety of tapas and at a reasonable size. Reasonable wine and other drinks selection - though once the refit has been completed it would be good to see a better 'tapa bar standing area' - to truly bring what tapa bars are into the location
Always a good price here so for any budget you should be good and it makes a good pre-dinner spot for a vino and meeting up with friends / group
S. T.
Great throughout the day.
Welcoming breakfasts, good tea. Relaxed lunch nibbles and wine. Bustling dinner for small groups, couples and friends.
Order every-other thing on the menu first time you go, then the balance of items the next time.
You'll be returning whenever you get the chance.
M. L.
Part of a tapas chain. Still, I have been to a few and always enjoyed their food. Usually very busy. Tasty food, good range of dishes. Expensive, but not enough to resent the size of the bill when it comes.
A. Y.
If you haven't tried squid ink rice, this is the place to try it! The tapas here is rather tasty and the ingredients are of pretty good quality. I have been rarely disappointed by their dishes. The oxcheek is also prepared really well, tender and yummy. If I have a complaint, it is that they are particular about big groups and rather strict on serving breakfast during breakfast timings and refuse to even let people sit and wait for a table until lunchtime :(
G. S.
very good restaurant. very very pleased. me and my wife come to brindisa tapas for lunch and even though brindisa tapas was extremely busy we was quickly seated and offered great customer service which came alongside with the beautiful food all the way through the three courses.
D. B.
This restaurant is great! Really good tapas and a great atmosphere. Our party of 4 had the pimientos de padron, manzanilla olives, ensalada de remolacha, croquetas de jamon, gambas al ajillo and patatas bravas y alioli - and of course a bottle or two of wine! Every dish we had was delicious and we walked out full and happy!
L. A.
Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Happy to suggest dishes to try to stop us going for the same old favourites. Good brought out promptly and was all well prepared and presented. Good value for money.
J. B.
Great consistently solid Spanish tapas joint. A leader in London for that really. Great choices of food and drink and good Spanish food store affiliated in adjacent Borough Market. Worth the visit. Always.
P. P.
Great friendly place to stop by for a coffee.
J. A.
Very nice choice of tapas and reasonably priced.
F. A.
Tapas are perfectly prepared and seasoned with quality ingredients. Wine list is good. Service is fast and friendly. Tends to get very busy which sometimes impacts the overall experience.
B. R.
Great food, atmosphere and staff. We spent over 4hrs grazing through various tapas and drinks. Great buzz but relaxing too.
T.
Lovely place for food with great service.
What's not to like 👍
S. W.
Tapas & wine
Tapas was not the best I have ever had but passable. Wine recommendation was really nice as was the ambience. Wouldn't rush here again but would attend if someone else requested.
E. C.
Pretty good food and super kind staff. The place is a bit small and can be overcrowded but we had a really good time. Our waitress was very good an she didn’t bring us what we ordered at once because the table was small. We will return for sure!!
S. C. H.
Great choice of fresh foods meats ,fish ,fruit ,vegetables ,breads lots more . Many places to eat and drink .
P. M.
Maybe not my favourite tapas bar in London, but definitely a great place to nibble if you are in the area. Good quality-price ratio, very busy after work but also great if you wish to take away..
A. C.
This is a cute little tapas place in the middle of Borough market, and was wonderful after work treat. Huge prawns came swimming in a still-sizzling sauce of olive oil, chilli, and chewy slices of garlic. Another memorable dish was the fried goats cheese and drizzled with orange blossom honey, ordered on recommendation from our waiter. Totally delicious!
M.
Consistently great tapas. Always busy and you can't book, so be prepared to wait sometimes. Fast and efficient service and phenomenal ingredients, it's as authentic as you get outside of Spain.
J. L.
Brindisa is a reliable place for tapas with a few other branches dotted over London. I always enjoy the food here but it can get very busy and noisy. I particularly like the tortilla and sherry-based cocktails
A. E.
Prices are sky high. Good atmosphere but tapas is nothing special. Either needs to be half the price or significantly better food. Wouldn't go back personally.
I. E.
Creative and unique mix of ingredients in the tapas dishes combined with lovely staff. The food came quickly and with great service! Fantastic.
M. M.
Delicious tapas! Food quality surprisingly good. Though it's too pricey considering the average basic decoration of the place that feels more of a cafe and less of a restaurant.
J. M.
Definitely the best tapas I have eaten in London. We there there on a week night and the place was bustling. Excellent wine (Ten Siglos 2011) and menu Make sure you try the Pan-Fried Sardines and have the cheese selection for afters). I greedily always worry that I won't be full from tapas, but this place will not leave you hungry! #Irishtini
C. G.
Nice atmosphere and location. Service was quick and ok for the most part but would look for more options as food was definitely too pricey for what they actually offer: tapas.
D. R.
Great food, the tapas selections are delicious! Friendly staff always busy at lunchtime, you can't book.
I would definitely recommend!
Y. E.
I have just been there. Really tasty tapas and good Costumer service. Alberto, the waiter who attended me and my partner made us feel really welcome!!
J.
A wonderful tapas restaurant. Everything tastes fresh and the service , whenever we have been, is excellent. It can be a struggle to get a table if you come here at peak times.
C. H.
London used to struggle on the spanish tapas front for quite a while, but this place is just great, the dishes and flavours are spot on.. Just a great place to come and get a fix of cured meats and cheese. Do not hesitate to visit Brindisa and spend all your money here.
O. B.
Very nice tapas place with a cost atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and the food was good. However not the best place if you are allergic to nuts.
P. G.
If you can get into this place, it's great. I've just about given up trying to get in for Tapas recently, as I never seem to manage it, but do enjoy coming here in the morning for a coffee and breakfast, or late afternoon for a glass of sherry. When I have been able to eat, I've really enjoyed it: the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere extremely buzzy. And a wander around Borough market next door really puts you in the mood!
P. C. T.
Brindisa is a place to trust regarding Spanish food in London. This one is quite busy and doesn't haveuch space but people is in and out all the time and you'll probably get a seat in 10 minutes.
This is good Spanish food, no doubt about it. I tried a few Spanish restaurants in London before this and all of them were crap.
The tortilla is very good, as well the huevos revueltos. Bravas and ali oli are recommendable as well. Desserts are very good, tarta de Santiago, cheese flan and rice pudding are very tasty.
I'll be back this place for sure.
j. s.
Regular here and it's always an amazing experience. Good food and staff is very friendly. It could get very busy on weekends so plan ahead. Close to authentic
T. R.
Very busy, very noisy, table too close together and limited menu selection for gluten free diets. The food looked appetising, but portions seemed small for the prices on the menu.
M. L.
Disappointing, have come here for years. Too much oil on everything. Bravas potatoes came with garlic as well as spicy sauce which wasn't spicy and not enough. Prawns and meatballs best but feels to rushed and quality has suffered.
D. S.
My first time at a Brindisa restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. I know it's a chain but the food was excellent and the staff were really great, they overheard me saying Padron peppers were my absolute favourite and bought me an extra portion with my meal!
C. B.
Have been many times. Love it every time. Busy but friendly and a happy place with tapas that make you smile. Especially like that it doesn't feel like a rip-off. Shall return many more times hopefully.
g. m.
Really liked this place. My breakfast was delicious 2 fried eggs, Spanish ham, fried potato and freshly squeezed orange juice. So worth a visit. £13.
R. Q.
As if Borough Market wasn't enough, Brindisa Tapas Bar sucks you right in to the best tapas. And the wine selection is just perfect. Really nice in summer and a haven of warmth in winter. Come early round Xmas - all your close friends will be in a line right in front of you. And afterwards head down the street to the Brindisa Deli to take it all home.
S. Z.
Love this London Tapas bar.
Stood at the bar and in my best español ordered una caña (glass of beer - so much more civilised than a pint and stays cold) and several dishes from the menu.
I could see the kitchen working diligently on all the dishes, and the bar and serving staff were industrious.
However, I still managed to feel that sense of a relaxed but busy tapas bar in Spain.
The food was perfect, and was just what I was looking for to remind me of my times in Spain. Finished with another caña and cortado.
Only thing I would have loved that wasn't there is a little contempory Spanish music in the background ... otherwise Bravo Brindisa!!!
S. S.
Great authentic food. Service is very good if you speak a little Spanish. Everything we tried was good and didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is very real and not contrived.
S. &. V.
Best octopus outside of Greece. Server was very good; lots of recommendations and very personable. Only issue was the smell of garbage as we sat outside.
S. N.
Excellent food and service. It was lovely to be able to sit outside in the warm sun. Red Wine Sangria is recommended. The food was good too.
P. T.
Superb Chorizo roll! Get the double a good value and you won't be disappointed. Chorizo is spicy, flavourful and not to fatty. bread is top notch (from a local bakery?). I've been a few times and despite wanting to try more on the menu always grab a double.
R. R.
Really enjoyed my tapas there. Especially the bacalao (roasted cod fish), the tortilla, the padron peppers, and the real Jamón Iberico (charcuterie platter). Too bad the terrace is so close to a very congested street. But kudos to great friendly staff
A. L.
It is not bad. Very useful on a Sunday when we went to visit the Borough Market only to find it closed. But I would cone to Tapas Brindisa on its own merits. Definitely.
R. L.
The food was good, however we did receive tapas with pork meat that were not well done, the meat was quite rare in fact. The food qulity was overall good, but quite pricy considering they only serve tapas. The service could have been better! And we didnt appericate the fact that one could hear the chef scream at the staff.
F.
Brindisa it's ona of my favorite restaurants in London . The staff always professionally.
The " Croquettes " it is always the best Dish , in London bridge there's good food and good service . BRINDISA always at the Top
M. D.
Great varied menu, with a range of authentic tapas dishes made by experienced chefs
Service always impeccable from the moment you walk in the restaurant.
Good value, great quality products for a reasonable price.
H. S.
Sublime Spanish tapas if you are patient enough to wait for your table (you can drink at the counter in the meantime). Excellent choice of sherries and white wines (I didn't try the red wine).
J. D.
Delicious tapas. Deducted a star as they don't take bookings which is frustrating as they're always very busy so you often have to wait.
A. P.
Glorious. The chorizo sandwich with red pepper and rocket isn't only the best chorizo sandwich in the world, it's the best thing to eat on the planet. Choose from the smoky barbecue selling these, the upmarket deli or buzzing restaurant. Outstanding authentic quality.
Y. K.
Great food and service, staff were knowledgable and accommodating, not getting annoyed when our party changed from 5 to 3 to 4 in the space of 10mins. The food arrived beautifully presented and everything was tasty!
L. M.
Fun, lively tapas restaurant at the edge of Borough Market. Outdoor seating and quieter indoor tables too. Interesting selection of dishes - try the sand eels!
J. T.
Nice little restaurant with a chilled out atmosphere. I only had tea and dessert but it was a nice area to chill with a friend in. It also has outdoor seating with heaters. Service is also decent.
M. F.
Good food. Nice staff. Quick service.
M. G.
Good food!, excellent staff!. I feel at home every time I come over. I never has to wait to log for a table while I enjoy a glass of wine at the bar.
D. J.
Exceptional quality ingredients, cooked perfectly with friendly staff.
Pretty expensive for some things, understandably; but really good value for others, such as the Spanish omelette.
I'd go again as a treat.
J. R.
The food was amazing, the cheese board in particular was absolutely outstanding and the waiter Giovanni was warm and friendly, outstanding service
E. R.
Caramelised peaches with roasted almonds and soft cheese... OMG! I bought heaven with just 5 quids. Delicious!

The best place ever in London for spanish tapas. The cured meat is awesome, and they have a huge selection of the best spanish wines. So you will enjoy an great spanish meal for a good price.
G. P.
Love it here, used to meet my South African friend here for the afternoon. Great food, great service and good value for money.
G.
Love this place, I go every time I’m in London. Delicious tapas and wine. It can be a bit of a wait for a table though.
G. C.
Great service, great food and a great place to catch up with old friends....
P. T.
Maybe a little bit expensive but the food was incredible, everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Gets really busy and I don't think you can book so get there early
J. H.
Terrific tapas restaurant food and service is first class, so popular you must book a table or wait for quite a while . Truly a little piece of Spain in London.
H. P.
I feel like this places popularity hadn't done it any favours. Still great food but now it comes with some attitude and a very random wait list. Shame
R. G.
Great range of tapas and drinks plus attentive and friendly staff. Pricy but it is London so probably competes with those other restaurants around
S. S.
Excellent tapas spot on the fringe of Borough Market and just opposite London Bridge tube station. The Iberico ham is excellent and there are some very good local wines on offer.
A. E.
Lovely food but a little pricey if you want to fill yourself UP
W. G.
Love the atmosphere in here. The huevos rotos are amazing, as are the ham croquettes, or simply pop in for a drink as it's such a bustling, friendly atmosphere.

Nice food and service couple dishes arrived late but was a nice lunch at the end of it.
I. T.
The wine was lovely and the tapas were very nice, but we felt rushed to turn over our table (our server told us the manager was upset we were taking so long).
N. A.
The food is good. However, the portions are extremely small (Tapas!). If you are hungry, you might want to look for another place. We found it very expensive.
Y. N.
Food was lovely and fairly priced. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
M. E.
Great tapas in a lovely restaurant - staff were super helpful especially when dealing with an allergy in our party.
B. R.
Well established for great tapas, but perhaps getting behind the times. Brindisa was always the go-to place for excellent jamon and chorizo but now there are better places to visit. It's always packed, the food and drink is excellent, but I'd head to Barrafina or Fino instead.
A. M.
Always busy, food pretty decent tapas, good place to go on the spur of the moment. Great place in the summer to sit and watch the world go by.
E.
Very nice tapas place ! Fresh and nicely cooked food with a good variety of wines.
A. R.
Very nice place but sometimes too much crowded. Good dishes and perfect service. Also if your English is not perfect... A very gentle Italian boy can help.
D. H.
1st time recently, great food, helpful, friendly staff
N.
One of my favourite places to visit. fresh food, good wine and always attentive staff
S. E.
Really lovely food, with great staff. I thought the selection of ham was over priced, but would still thoroughly recommend eating there.
D. N.
Fantastic food. Be prepared to wait for a loooong time for a table though. The restaurant is very popular and booking isn't available.
L. V.
Tapas as fresh and authentic as the sea front of Barcelona. The best part about it is the stall outside the shop selling chorizo sandwiches - perfect for a quick lunch on the go for less than a fiver. Bursting with flavour and a stubstantial sandwich for the money. #GoogleGoesPOP
E. S. O.
This location is a great location to people watch (if that's your thing) and fill yourself with tapas. If you have food allergies, you're still likely to find items that will meet your needs.
G. C.
Alex was an amazing waitress! She new everything about the menu and was more than happy to give her recommendation. Will be back! Thanks Alex :)
C. R.
A nice place to meet and have a meal before/ after your Borough Market trip. The food I had was delicious, albeit quite pricey. Would recommend it to a friend, though!
S. M.
Lovely to have aperitivo and enjoy some Spanish tapas
I. S.
Delicious food, especially the octopus, and great service!
D. W.
I'd been meaning to visit for some time, and was pleased when I finally did. Good quality food, and a couple of really nice wines on offer.
B. Ó. N.
Excellent service, tasty food, but extraordinarily expensive for the portion size. Very underwhelmed
P. J.
Great breakfast, large portion of scrambled eggs with very flavoursome chorizo. Best breakfast I've had outside of South Africa!
T. F.
This restaurant was really crowded and very noisy.
The food was correct (although not exceptional) but a little expensive.
I must admit that I was a little disappointed
A. C.
Great food & staff extremely friendly!
j. v.
Decent grub but is one of those places that hustle you in an attempt to get you to leave early - eg by handing out the bill before you've finished (defensible when busy, perhaps, but in my case this was during a quiet time mid-afternoon). I raised it when leaving but they didn't seem to understand my objection. A pity because otherwise it's a great spot.
s. c.
Amazing tapas. The house wine is fantastic. The staff are friendly and efficient. Recommended
J. H.
Great food, great location, great service, great atmosphere. It's not the cheapest place (around £6 - £11 per tapas), but worth it.
E. W.
nice casual atmosphere. good service. very tasty tapas at reasonable prices. good place for lunch if you’re going to a nearby museum.
R. S.
At first glance going to a tapas bar for breakfast is not your first thought, but a great selection of broken eggs, toasts, caffe con leche (no latte or cappuchino here) is delicious. An abundance of waiting staff attend to your every need, and on a crisp snowing spring morning it is just the thing to start you off in the morning!
M. R. T.
if you like chorizo you will love Brindisa. easy sandwich for lunch. long lines too but super quick service. Sunny and salty feeling in London!
A. B.
Excellent food and great atmosphere. Nice friendly environment.
Enjoyed the Cava Sangria which was chosen by Alexandra. Excellent choise !
M. D.
Wonderful vibrant eating place. Food was delicious and staff very friendly and efficient. Don't forget to visit the shop as well.
C. C.
Food is good! But the service could be better. There is nothing worst than being kicked out from a place where you still have one drink away to be done.
C. P.
Nice strong coffee and great tapas!....you should try the stuffed Olives - you wouldn't think that particular combo would work, and yet it does!
s. d.
Crowded and slow service but the food Is good
A. W.
Great food and efficient service. The bill soon adds up though. £100+ for two adults and two children.
V. G.
Probably a good place but low chance to get a table after 7, we waited for 1.5 hours on Thursday with no prospects to get one. They need to do something to manage the queue.
J. S.
Just ok. Food was hit and miss, no draft beer selections (except for Estrella), but had some decent bottles. Sangria was too sweet.
E.
Short but interesting menu, nice tapas in busy eclectic restaurant. Not top notch like Barrafina but more affordable and large portions.
J. P.
One of the best tapas I've had, really good food and really nice staff. Can get very busy.
S. M.
Really great food and a marvelous location on the edge of borough market. Try to get a table out front as the atmosphere is amazing
R. V.
Very authentic spanish tapas. Great wines and sherries too. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, great for tapas or for a few drinks.
L. M.
Great iberico ham! Lovely, busy restaurant with great atmosphere and romantic feeling. Best tapas in London!
K. S.
Great location for people watching and amazing tapas. We had a friend that came early and got a table otherwise we would have waited a while.
M. D.
Great varied menu, with a range of authentic tapas dishes made by experienced chefs …
P. M.
Maybe not my favourite tapas bar in London, but definitely a great place to nibble if you are in the area. Good quality-price ratio, very busy after work but also great if you wish to take away..
E. S. O.
This location is a great location to people watch (if that's your thing) and fill yourself with tapas. If you have food allergies, you're still likely to find items that will meet your needs.
M. R. T.
if you like chorizo you will love Brindisa. easy sandwich for lunch. long lines too but super quick service. Sunny and salty feeling in London!
C. G.
Nice atmosphere and location. Service was quick and ok for the most part but would look for more options as food was definitely too pricey for what they actually offer: tapas.
T. T.
great food lovely atmosphere nice staff
G. M.
Popped in for lunch really busy but managed to get a table outside in the sun
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was very nice
Y. M.
Great food and lovely wine. Definitely a must if you are in the London Bridge/ Borough Market area of London.
J. M.
Great Spanish tapas restaurant in borough market. Goats cheese dish was totally outstanding 👌
A. M.
Absolutely packed out on a Monday evening which always gives a good indication of how good a place is, food was excellent as was the service
I.
Tasty food. A bit pricey but enjoyed the experience and made to feel very welcome
B. M.
Excellent food but be prepared to wait. It can be quite noisy & crowded but you could always eat outside.
S. A.
Food was lovely but dishes only really enough for one. Service a bit hit and miss.
A. T.
Nice food, yummy wine - the sommelier was so passionate and informative about Spanish wines. Quick service.
S. S.
Good tapas great service! I was not keen on their version of Patatas bravas but everything else was great
C. M.
Love this Spanish restaurant, and it's truly a foodie's dream. Every dish was just delightful.
B. H.
Fantastic tapas! As a regular traveler to Spain, I found the jamón to be exceptional and authentic.
Try the padron peppers!
T. B.
The food was amazing ,real taste of Spain in the middle of London. All the staff was friendly and efficient.Highly recommend this place
P. C.
Very busy tapas bar but very tasty food. Beware the Jamon Iberico at £22 a mouthful!!
I. E.
Excellent tapas bar but book if you can as it gets busy.
A. M.
The food was ok, particularly the Spanish omelette but most of the menu was overpriced and the service was not particularly friendly
D. M.
Reasonably priced, good quality food, a bit tight for space between tables
D. L.
Amazing food, very friendly staff, I'm loving it. A little pricy but I guess it's just london standard
M.
The food it is very good, the ambient is very Spanish, and the mayority of waiters are Spanish.Brilliant place.
H. M.
Amazing wine, and the iberico was fab. Great staff too
S. S.
Yummy tapas and enough variety for vegetarians and vegans too ... highly recommended
E. F.
Very good but also veeeeery expensive for tapas! 500ml of wine for 26£???!?!??! And they charge you for tip: 11£ without asking you...
O. B.
Super Fast service!
D.
The food was OK, reheated and dry. Wouldn't go again for a Sunday roast.
D. B.
A bit expensive for what it is but the staff was lovely. Try to avoid the tall tables... Very uncomfortable.
E. H.
Excellent Tapas restaurant in Borough Market. Relaxed vibe, tasty food and Estella by the pitcher!
L. J.
Very good quality food, and a great atmosphere, service was excellent
M. C.
Delicious food, friendly efficient service and a buzzy atmosphere. Good wine list.
T. A.
Excellent menu, good wine and the service was quick and very friendly
M. G. R.
The place is definitely overpriced but the food I tasted there was really good. I am Spanish and I know what a good tapa is. Cheers
G. Z.
Friendly staff and nice surroundings. The tapas is delicious and has a good selection of desserts and coffees also.
S. G.

Great Spanish tapas, and a small but good Spanish beer selection. Very friendly staff!
T. S.
My London must go for the gordal olives and gazpacho.
J. M.
Good food and service but pricey, although expected with the location
I.
