We have lived in the area for 6 years and have never been here, but we weren’t disappointed at all. We were surprised how much the platter for two was! We couldn’t finished it! The food was really good and fresh, we enjoyed everything! Our new fave spot and would definitely recommend 😁

You are given bread, salad, garlic and chilli sauce while you wait for the main course. Be careful .... so nice and you need to leave room for the main course. The main course was great, very tasty and very filling. Go there and really enjoy the experience.

Stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant whilst not really knowing what I wanted for lunch, so glad I did as everything about it was absolutely amazing.. the staff are so friendly and the service is impeccable. I have eaten in many Turkish restaurants this food was up there with the best of them. It's a shame I don't live closer as I would be a regular.

Perfectly grilled meats at an amazing price and friendly staff. The grill marks and flavours of the meats on the special dish were excellently prepared, now what could improve is the bulgur and hummus. Despite some shortcomings with the starters and carbs, the amount of food you get at a low value is ridiculously amazing! You're pretty much paying the price of one person at most restaurants and getting enough food for 3! Easy to recommend to anyone with a huge appetite or even small groups of friends happy to share. I ordered the terrace special and I'm so glad with the quantity.

I never write reviews as I hate being ‘That person’, but feel I have to this time. It’s my first time ordering at this restaurant and was extremely disappointed! I ordered via Deliveroo so cannot say who is responsible, but my food was inedible! It arrived cold, flavourless and the meat was dry, chewy and stale. The chips were also soggy and cold. Overall completely inedible!! Judging by previous glowing reviews, I am hoping that this is just a one-off, but sorry to say I will not be trying again!

service was okay but not great. the yoghurt soup is good but not exceptional and has gone up from 4,50 to 6 since the pandemic but that's understandable considering businesses took a big hit during lockdowns. I got soup + iskendar + a soft drink for about £20.

A local gem - Turkish food done right! Highly recommended! Casual, relaxed dining and affordable prices. Great for dining on a budget - most dishes are from £3.50-£15. My friend and I dropped by to try their sharing platter for two (£18) which could have fed 3-4 people (three grilled meats, rice, salad, hummus and flat-bread). Generous portions, high-quality and beautifully presented/cooked. The lamb shish was juicy and tender, salads super fresh and flat-bread freshly grilled and dressed in olive oil. Warm, friendly and detailed customer service, too. I can’t wait to go back. Puts my faith back into local, family-run restaurants. Local London food done right. Currently no alcohol is available, but soft drinks start from £1.50. If you’re in the Angel area, do drop by! ✨

We visited Terrace Turkish Kitchen in October, 2019. It was my first visit back to London in 15 years and I was craving Turkish doner. A friend suggested this restaurant on Chapel Market instead of getting take-away. We were not disappointed. The lamb doner plate was big enough to share. The meat was good quality - very chunky. The sauces, hummus and spices were amazing. Looking forward to another visit to try some of the kabobs and lamb chops.

The lamb chops! Oh my word, the lamb chops! I don't know if these are sourced from lamb heaven itself, but these have to be some of the best lamb chops I've ever had in my life (and I go to a lot of Turkish grills). They have the perfect balance of meat to fat and are seasoned in what I can only imagine is pure, uncut ecstasy. Even as I type this, my mouth is watering at the memory. Ok, need to shift focus so I don't start drooling over my keyboard. The service! Yes, the service, that will do. The service is phenomenal. The owner spent a good 10 minutes with us explaining how to cook the lamb chops and then also running us through the what seasoning they use. When he didn't know the English words for some of the seasonings, he would use google translate. Talk about going the extra mile. Despite having a great butcher who sells good quality lamb chops and knowing all the seasoning, I will 100% be back to this restaurant again as I'm sure I won't even come close to being able to replicate the quality.That and the fact that the owner was so gracious and helpful has definitely made me a loyal customer for life.

Wonderful customer service. Great atmosphere. Easy location to get to. (We forgot to take more pictures of the rest of our meal because of the good food. Couldn’t stop eating) The kebab was juicy and well flavoured. Rice was perfectly made. Most places either ignore all level of salt or pour the whole kg bag of it. But they had it perfectly right. Chicken shish was made right, tender and juicy, almost melts in your mouth. Even the salad was well dressed. Not overpowering any flavour from the food. (I.E. not watery or drowning in oil) 10/10 planning to go back again.

What drew me to this restaurant was the fresh gözleme (traditional savory Turkish flatbread) that is made by the main window. I tried the spinach & cheese and it was delicious! Purchased the Shish and Adana which came with rice, bread and salad for £9. Good value for money and food is tasty. Only criticism I have of this place is the amount of meat they actually give you. They load you up with the rice And only give you 5 chicken cubes and a relatively small Adana.

Review updated December 2021. We have been occasionally visiting this place during our lunch breaks for four to five years now and it has always been excellent. It's one of our firm favourites. We almost always come in a group of between 3 and 6 people and are promptly seated and our orders taken. We particularly like the sharing platters, these are set menus for groups. They come with salad bowls and selection of 4 cold appetizers (only one of which I can name: hummus) and some baskets of fresh bread pieces. A little later they bring out a large platter of assorted hot rices and grilled meats for the group to share. The portion sizes are really generous and if our office were a little closer we'd perhaps make the trip a little more frequently. Really good value for what you get and really tasty. We just visited again for the first time post-pandemic and the quality has not waned at all. It's as good as ever.

I enjoy food except the glasses was smelling damp cloth. I couldn't drink water from them when i ask more glasses they all had same smell. I really suggest the restaurant must wash them with washing up fairy liquid and very **clean cloth** to dry them or leave them on dryer stand tray instead.

Brilliant, welcoming place, very authentical and extremely clean... What a pleasure to discover this restaurant.

We enjoyed a delicious simple Sunday lunch here, all of which was perfectly cooked. A Falafel Wrap, a Saksuska, a Feta Salad and 2 Turkish Coffees came to £17.50. We were not made to feel that we overstayed our welcome when we were there for 90 minutes, nor did they mind us drinking tap water. Very happy to recommend. I am sure that I will be coming back!

Probably one of my favourite Turkish restaurant!! Came here for take away and wanted a Vegetarian dish. And there was so many options! I ordered their mousakka and omg it was sooo good! They offered Turkish tea while I waited which was really nice of them. You get a side salad and bread with your main meal which makes it such a good value for money! My family always come here and they never disappoint! Super friendly staff too! Definitely worth visiting!

Visited Chapel market and came across this restaurant. From the outside it looks like a takeaway. What made me look inside was the food they had displayed it looked so appertising it was then I noticed the seating area which was quite spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the Terrace set meal for 2 people, hummus to start with home made bread, main course was large bowl of salad which was so fresh, two types of rice, mixed lamb and chicken shish, adana and chicken donor. The food was amazing, the meat had been marinated and was so tender it just fell apart. The set meal was only £18.00 absolutely fantastic price as there was so much food could have easily been for 3 people. If you like coffee you must try the Turkish coffee. This place is a gem you must try it and it is open at night as well.

The staff is as friendly as you will remember it from your holidays. The food is good, there is a variety of grilled meat and vegetables on the menu. A Glas of wine or Turkish beer are also available. All dishes are served with bread and salad. My favourite is the char grilled fish.

I don't really give 5 stars but they're one of the few could get it. Their shish kebabs are absolutely fantastic. I ate at this place more than 5 times. They're very welcoming, never miserable. You get free starters like humus, yogurt sauce and chili sauce, lots of bread! Even though I don't eat bread, it gives you that amazing Turkish meal experience, table full of food. Their kebabs are so attention to detail, always serve you grilled onion and peppers with it. They serve you two different type rice, bulgur and white rice. On top of that you get a complimentary dessert and turkish tea. I always leave tip, very good deal and a clean place to eat.

This review is based on takeaway of one item. I went to Terrace on a weekday lunchtime by chance. I was walking past, looking for something to eat and saw a lady preparing Gozleme (a Turkish pastry available filled with a number of fillings. I like the cheese and spinach filling myself). I walked in to the restaurant and people were queuing, waiting to be served. The staff were very polite and efficient in taking my order after a short wait. I was served and paid after a much shorter time than I expected and returned to work with a freshly made, well filled and very tasty Gozleme pastry.

One of the most authentic and best Turkish restaurants i have ever had the pleasure of visiting. London is packed full of restaurants, especially Turkish and greek, yet Terrace was completely different to all the ones i have been too. The starters and appetisers were the same as any other establishment but what really blew me away was the meat quality and skills of the chefs who prepared it. The chefs like to banter with their customers and create a lovely ambience along with the decor and layout. Its perfect for a quick lunch meeting or even birthday dinners. Would recommend the lamb shish and adana combo!

Dałem 4 gwiazdki gdyż znam miejsca gdzie mogę zjeść smaczniejsze i częstują turecka herbatą jak i też baklawa ( jest to darmowy dodatek do zamówionego posiłku) W tej restauracji też podają herbatę i baklawe lecz nie zdarza się to zbyt często.
