Reviews of The Breakfast Club
A. L.
This is a club I want to be part of. Delicious menu of breakfast and cafe items. Staff were great.
Only issue was changing some items on the menu. I asked four an extra egg instead of hash browns and had to negotiate long and hard for it. For such a small thing, the restaurant should be more flexible.

First time visiting The Breakfast Club in Angel and will definitely not be my last.
The staff were friendly and created a fun and enjoyable atmosphere which was helpful as we were first through the door.
The food itself was delicious, myself having the Full Monty and my friend having the American deluxe - would recommend the food and this place heavily, everything was awesome!
B. R.
Absolutely brilliant breakfast. I ordered the All American Deluxe and it did not disappoint. Pancakes - light and fluffy. Maple bacon slab - juicy. Steak - succulent. Potatoes - potatoey. A lovely, lovely breakfast. Portion size was very good! My friend ordered the The Full Monty and was equally pleased with his food. Food came quickly and the staff were welcoming and courteous. Would definitely recommend. It got quite busy after 9 so get in early!
S. G.
Absolutely stunning breakfast, coffee and drinks! We got the vegan all american with a side of hash browns and chipotle ketchup which was delicious! Great atmosphere and extremely kind and friendly staff! Would definitely return and recommend 🤍🤍🤍🤍
C. G.
What a great little place! The staff were all so friendly and everyone of them wore a beeming smile! Not one of them didn't great you and when we left they all wished you farewell, safe travels and have a nice day. The food was epic (French toast to die for) the only down side was that we had to wait quite some time for everything to to be served to us (obviously a very busy place) but believe me when our food and drinks did get served to us it was well worth the wait! Top place!

First impressions: busy shop and tired staff. Mixed clientele - from young adults to old professionals and families with babies.
Ordered the “Greasy Spoon” and the “Fried Chicken on French Toast” along with a cappuccino and an americano. Greasy spoon was quite nice but Fried Chicken on French toast was too sweet - could be my fault as I asked them not to put sour cream in it which made it unbearably sweet. Coffee was definitely not their strongest selling product as it looked delightful at first but soon enough realised how poor it was. Staff were a mixture of too tired and ultra polite. Toilets clean but claustrophobic at the basement. Prices above average as we paid £35+. No disable access - there are stairs to climb on both inside and outside of the shop. Would I return to this shop? I’m leaning more towards no. Would I recommend it? Maybe not. It’s definitely an one-off experience I guess that didn’t make me want to return.

The food was yummy and the people working there were super sweet and nice. I have some issues tho, the table we were sat on outside was so wobbly. Like extremely, my friend almost fell backwards, and once the people sat beside us ( it's kinda like a bench so 2 small separate groups can share a table ) anyways they moved it a bit and My coffee almost tipped over if I didn't catch it first. We got the mclovin and the avacado egg & cheese sandwich. The mclovin was very yummy, the sandwich was also good but the avacado was an awkward add because it was large cut pieces that would just slip out when eating the sandwich so I mostly just picked them out and ate it on its own. The sandwhich is a mess to eat I recommend making the plate bigger as you can see it was a perfectly fitted plate for it so it didn't help much.
This made our experience a bit touch and go but we had a laugh out of it haha :)
I. V.
Excellent food, fantastic service, absolutely recommended. Hadn't had something that good for a long time!
The staff were amazing!
Cheers for everything!
R. B.
Delicious breakfast! Staff were really friendly and fun! Check for peak times as the waiting can be long if busy.
N. T.
Great place for breakfast, I had the all American vegan option.
Coffee was okay and breakfast was filling and certainly a good size.
Service was polite and I would recommend to go here if in the area.
Vegan bacon wasn't the best and they give a small amount of maple
m.
Amazing place! We split the vegan English breakfast and it was the perfect amount. We also shared a side of pancake which was delicious!!! Highly recommend
I. P.
Tasty, fluffy pancakes and what is best is that they stay warm for a long time — missed filter coffee but americano was good enough!
E. C.
Fantastic place, good service and the food amazing!
By the way, the margarita's are wonderful!
L. k.
Came for the English Breakfast and was not disappointed at all! Really friendly staff and delicious food - the mushrooms especially 😍. I also got an iced white Americano which was also perfect!
R. P.
Very nice place. Friendly crew, a lot of space and An amazing menu. It's not the cheapest place, but it's not very expensive too. I definetely recommend.
A. S.
Second time here and it was just as good, maybe made even better by our super gracious server Angel.
All servers seemed to be nice but she was specially attentive and friendly. Quirky decor and good tasting food.
E. T.
Lovely food and the staff are absolute stars. Bit of a wait, but that's how you know you're in for a treat. The walk up app was melting down the day we went, so I thought I'd been in the virtual queue for 25 mins, but it hadn't gone through at the restaurant end. The staff seating us within about 3 mins of being alerted to the tech issue. Can't say fairer than that. Ace.

Nice place to have a brunch in London.
The place is located in a charming street with many commerces around.
When we got there the restaurant was full, what’s nice is that they use an app to put you in queue. We only waited like 15 minutes before getting an SMS and getting a table.
The food was good, the service was good too, I recommend this place and sure I’ll come back.
Cheers
L. M.
I said the same thing under the breakfast club soho review - I love the disco hash but the angel cafe just doesn’t make the disco hash taste the same. It’s still pretty decent though! I wish they added the hot chocolate to their Deliveroo menu as that is where I order from. Great packaging and stuff too. Cheesy harissa fries and hash browns are both so tasty too! Sausages on the side are pretty good. 4/5 because of the difference in taste x
m. p.
Nice place to have brunch,in a nice alley close to Angel station.
Staff was nice and the food as well.
E. C.
Amazing place to go for a quick coffee or for a massive brunch, good vegan options for those plant based ! Quality coffee as well and the all staff is super cool, excellent service ! My favourite was a guy named Luca 🥰✨
Keep up the good work guys 👏
Y. W.
Went today for lunch. Had a really nice avo and egg sandwich for lunch. Sam was a great, friendly server and Aisha and Morgan were so accommodating even though I’m a veeerry picky eater. Had a great time!
M. B.
Our third visit for breakfast...its always been on our to do list when in London visiting.... if you want a nice relaxing breakfast/brunch this is not for you. It can get very busy and very noisy indoors. A good buzzy atmosphere and we had lovely food. Only prob this time was our table was next to the servery where the orders were punched in and the staff had to lean over my husband to get menus etc which was a bit off-putting.it wasn't just once or twice but constantly..I'd suggest that they reconsider the site of that table.
Enjoyed what we had but prob won't be back as there are lots of similar places to have a good breakfast in London.
X. W.
- my friend and I were worried that the food will come slow, turned out to be really quick
- great food with good portion, friendly staff
s. s.
It's a popular place, there was a line by the door but it was worth it. The portion is very generous. I ordered the Steak and Egg, you can skip that one. The Egg Benedict with chorizo was good. My favorite was the Disco Fries. Just a good mix of sweet, salty, spicy combo flavor on a plate. The Full Monty is good too.
J. A. (.
A great little place at any time of day! Quirky decor makes it a great atmospheric place to be. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We were served pretty quickly and there wasn't a long wait for food. There are some good vegan options and a wide variety of drinks available. The food arrived warm and was tasty!
C. C.
Fabulous breakfast, and the Veggie Sausages are the best. Book as super busy, fabulous staff
A. D.
Tiny but as good and comfortable as all the other locations. We only had to wait 15 min ti get seated for brunch on a Saturday afternoon.
The size of the portions are really impressive. It’s kind of an American brunch place. Good food, and drinks options. Their American pancakes are insanely good! And the bacon is super crunchy!
M. B.
Quite a small place but a welcoming and caring staff as well as good comforting food to keep you warm and happy. Coffee is a bit disappointing but there's always tea on this side of the channel.
M. I.
Great customer service and the veggie burrito I had was very nice. However the Bloody Mary I've order tasted really sweet and sickly, which in combination with sourness from the rest of the drink made me think I'm sipping on spicy sweet and sour sauce. I did genuinely try to like it and had a couple of sips, but could not stomach it and had to leave it basically full. The staff were very understanding and didn't charge me for it which I appreciate (honestly I wouldn't mind still paying for it, but that was a really nice gesture). I don't think it was the fault of the person that made the cocktail, but the recipe itself.
A. P.
The peach iced tea was so yummy. The mac n cheese was to die for. The service to get seated was a bit slow. We waited almost 45 mins for our seat then another 15 for food so we had to rush. The chicken burger was a bit disappointing. The chicken looked like it had been starved in its past life and I ate more of the coating than actual chicken. However, I would go back and try again
P. B.
The breakfast club has one of the best breakfast/brunch menu options. My friend and I got their Reggie the Veggie. It comes in a large portion and their turmeric scramble tofu is so good - I did not expect to like it this much. I also have to say that the service here is impeccable. The staff are so great and friendly and I feel very welcomed :)
B. K.
Excellent menu choice you can be as healthy (or not) as you like. Service can be slow because it gets really busy but it's a nice place to simply chat with friends to pass the time.
Small, a little cramped but you can call it cozy because the food is good enough to come back for.
W. v. O.
Amazing breakfast and amazing service! Despite all great places in London to have breakfast I went here twice in a row! English breakfast and/or any pancakes with vanilla cream have my recommendation! They have the pancakes in smaller portions of you're not a huge eater or just want to have both the English breakfast and the pancakes like me ;) worth the queue which wasn't even that long of a wait in my case!
D. L. R.
Amazing service large portions and good food definitely worth it
C. P.
It looked cute and had pretty good reviews but wayy too overpriced for what feels like defrosted food. The vegan bacon felt like hard cardboard, the potatoes were rock hard and the pancakes were ok, the only good thing was the scrambled eggs. All In all for the veggie breakfast and an orange juice I paid £20 which is ridiculous. There’s also a service charge.
L. G.
Great breakfast place around Islington!
C.
The breakfast club is a very spectacular place and known for its famous breakfasts. Amazing pancake and porridge with high-level maple syrup.
we will surely return again
C. B.
I had vegan haloumi Disco breakfast...was colourful, good to the eye & stomach !! Friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more !
J. Z.
Food is really amazing! We ordered pancake & berries, fried chicken & waffles and egg benedict, they are all very tasty. The decorations are pretty and service is great.
H. S.
Good breakfast with variety of options. Decent size meal. Coffee is brilliant. Place is small but cozy. Nice ambience too. Service: good enough.
A. A.
Brilliant food, this location however is very busy and you'll likely have to join their virtual queue system, but this was fine for us as we grabbed a coffee just up the street and weren't waiting as long as originally informed.
Inside it's very busy, cool decor which may be a bit hipstery but it's what they're known for and looks very cool and fun in there. Some tables are very small and close together so prepare to get up close to your fellow diners but once you're seated you get used to it very quickly.
Service was brilliant for us, with speedy delivery of drinks and a bottle of water for the table. Food didn't take too long either considering how busy it was.
All the parts of my American breakfast were ace and my girlfriend loved her breakfast burrito.
I'd certainly come here again, maybe a little earlier to beat the rush but don't be put off by the wait times, it's much quicker than you think and plenty of places to look or grab a drink whilst you wait. Trust me, it's worth the wait
M. A.
Absolutely loved this place! Staff are incredibly friendly. Located in the back streets of Angel, this little cafe almost makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city :) defo recommend trying the buttermilk pancakes!
A. A.
Really tasty. I had a veggie American. Potatoes were really good. Fluffy pancakes. Will be back for more.
J. L.
They make the best Avo toast I’ve ever tried in London. And the fried chicken & waffle tastes incredibly delicious as well. Plus, please try their flat white with oat milk, it’s a must-have! A big thumb to the Breakfast club👍🏻
F. O. u.
From the pictures 1 meal didn't look like it would full me but I was so wrong, but oh well I ordered 2 off the menu and a nice Morning glory smoothie.
The Mexican A1 Benny was actually rather tasty I like the egg chicken waffle combo together🍳
The salted caramel pancakes.. Soft fluffy 🥞
Service was polite staff friendly and the music adds a nice likkle vibe to the place.
Well done
Breakfast Club ⭐
M. S.
Amazing atmosphere and all the delicious breakfast food you would expect : pancakes, waffles, burgers, eggs, Mexican twist... They have a smart app so you can book your spot and receive a notification when your table is ready (expect between 30 and 60 minutes wait). 2 small flaws : very noisy when packed with people, and restaurant only accessible through a few stairs.
B. N.
Poor communication between staff. Staff were polite and the floor leader was lovely.
Food was delightful but massive shame it took 45 minutes to arrive. Kitchen staff need to brush up on timing's.
m. f.
The food here is good, but the service is even better. When my flat white arrived the bartender noticed it is cold before giving it to me, and she voluntarily make a new one for me before i said anything. Would definitely recommend this place :)
A. P.
The Breakfast Club in Camden Passage works of the chains' standard formula that has made it a popular choice across London - super friendly service, varied breakfast menu, hearty generous portions and a laid back atmosphere. Recently it has tried to infuse more an English caf feeling and menu items with this location focusing 100% on breakfast or 'Brekky Club' as the chain calls their breakfast and brunch focused locations.
The space is small with the seating part of an extension, fitting about 20 people with a long table at the back and a series of smaller tables at the front. If your planning to go there for breakfast get there early as Breakfast Club takes no reservations expect Monday to Friday after 5PM. In this specific location you can expect a cue forming on Saturday and Sunday mornings with waits ranging between 10 to 25 minutes between 10,30AM and 1.00PM.
As the name would suggest, Breakfast Club's menu and food shine at breakfast time with its lunch menu fairly limited. The breakfast menu includes classics such as huevos rancheros, On Toast options such as avocado on rye, pancakes and waffles, fruits and oats. There is a vegetarian English breakfast and veggie burrito option for those less meat inclined.
The main dish I ordered was average and dry while the coffee was good. Price wise it ranges between £6 and £12. Overall the food in overrated but what makes The Breakfast Club a good option is a combination of factors including choice, price, atmosphere and service.
G. L.
Really overated.the breakfast is good but that's it. When I saw the que I had great expatations, Instead NO. The place is dirty, the choice is limited and standardised. The price are high and the coffee is just really bad they do not even offer espresso. I can't understand why is trendy.
V. Y.
Loved visiting this place early on a Sunday morning for some pancakes. Staff was friendly; and all the food was amazing.
The barista was singing off key all the time behind the counter which was abit disturbing but aw well.
B. G.
Had the fried chicken and waffle eggs Benedict and it was delicious. Also, I had the Easter special ‘Creme Egg’ pancakes and they were very sweet but soooo good.
J. S.
Excellent quality service provided.
Seating was outside.
Food was excellent first time I have been.
Quality and quantity prefect 😊👍👌
Next time I and wife will try other items on the menu 🍲
T. D.
Thank you Eva I think 🤔 that’s the right spelling anyway the super friendly waitress super chill and nice personality! Ok back to the food damn I need it so much ! Love it beans was wow I mean the whole breakfast 5/5 !! Coffee flat white oat milk great 👍 thanks looking forward to back here !
C. C.
The food is really good and the prices aren't too bad. The waitress that we had was really friendly.
The only thing that was wrong with the place is that all the all tables are too close together. I know that it is a small place, but on a hot day, like today, it can get very hot. Especially if you're sitting in the far corner, on a busy day. The waitress had to lean over to give us our water and cutlery, but she handled it well.
Overall I like the place. I have been twice and it hasn't been busy. I wouldn't queue up for an hour though.
I. J.
Cosy, friendly but small cafe-bar-brunch place. Has a beachside-wood feel. Great place for a relaxed coffee and chat outside of busy hours, but at peak times you'll be lucky to even get a seat. Comfort egg/brunch/cake menu.
L. K.
I never go near small crowded cafes, but I'm so glad my friends pushed me here. I went a bit mad with the pancakes but I don't regret it as every bite was heavenly. Good meat-free options too. The staff working were so helpful and attentive (on a weekday)
4.
Amazing food! Friendly staff, good music. Everything you need for a fine breakfast or brunch
M. D.
Amazing food, amazing service! Honestly, hands down best breakfast in North London 👌
The barista is also the best! 🤟
A. O.
The breakfast club offers somer very tasty breakfast options. The pancakes are simply amazing. On the downside, the coffee could be improved. Overall I would recommend the place.
T. A.
Lovely place for breakfast if you're in the area, the food is fantastic (great vegan options!!) can't fault the service! And the waiters all so lovely and attentive, especially Chantelle and Camron. Can't recommend this place enough!
R. I.
If I lived in London, I'd be here every week!
M. C.
We needed to wait a little longer than anywhere else but the quality of food is high above the average! One of my favourite breakfast place in London!
w. a.
Very nice breakfast in a cozy place, good ambient, good food, good smoothies too! The English breakfast is massive! And of very high quality, the porridge and the sandwiches are really good too. The place is a bit small and you usually have to wait a lot for a table, nevertheless, I'd recommend it
S. L.
Long queue for an average food I would say. I had a great brunch experience two years ago on another breakfast club, this one seems a bit too small
T. S.
Need to wait a bit to get seated! However friendly staff and awesome food ! Big portions so the price is ok. Good to share the pancake meals ! Yummy place
M. T.
Everything was so delicious, that we couldn't stop eating. I will definitely recommend this place and I return soon.
N. T.
This place is fantastic for breakfast/brunch. Not many places have a choice between an American breakfast and an English one which I really liked. Coffees were good too. Highly recommended! Beware, the wait time getting into here could be over an hour - organise accordingly
t. h.
We had ti wait +30min for a table but they had a digital queue system so we visited the shops while waiting. Food and service was very nice :)
L. J.
Reliably good breakfast. Big menu with lots of different brunch item. I got the vegan pancakes this time and they were great! Plus we got a walk-up table! Note: This was at 9:30 in the morning. Prefer the space of the Battersea branch
N. G.
This place is definitely worth a visit. The staff do their best to ensure your visit is worthwhile and they did not disappoint. The food and milkshakes were fantastic. Bigger portions than we all expected.
Y. P.
Pancakes are great but the wait to get a table is too long, a bit more than 1h in our case! maybe we were unlucky ...
J. G.
Great place for breakfast and brunch. It's really popular and they don't seem to take bookings for smaller groups. The queues do go down quite quickly, so don't be put off.
The staff are friendly and service is quick. The menu has vegetarian and vegan options as well as things like chicken and waffles, full English and stacked pancakes.
L. M.
Small, noisy, bustling but so friendly and the food is really delightful. I had the butternut bubble with an egg on the side. Would definitely eat again!
M. S.
I must say - every breakfast which we have ordered (4 different meals) was outstanding.
R. G.
Small cosy restaurant .
Decently priced good food and the waiters were very friendly ! We weren't seated directly but the wait wasn't too long
Highly recommended
N. B.
Awesome breakfast /brunch/lunch with lovely staff. You will always find a queue but it is worth waiting to have something from their rich menu. Veggie options are available too.
P. B.
Massive portions of delicious food! Not easy to get a seat in the weekend, but perfect during the the week.
D. R.
It was best late breakfast I ever had. Food, climate, service 5*. Definitely I will be back soon!
C. H.
This is the place to head if you’re looking for breakfast at any time of the day. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is great, some items on the menu are a LITTLE overpriced though.
C. M.
My second time and the food was delicious.
The waitress Angel is adorable!
A. A.
Great pancakes - only reason I went and was hugely satisfied. They include service in their bills. Wouldn’t necessarily go back unless I wanted more delicious pancakes
N. O.
I'll start with customer service - it was amazing, amazing enough to tip in the UK
The food is worth every bite, loved it
B. L.
Literally walked 2 miles here to get my appetite going & I just had the best English breakfast of my entire life!
X. G.
Love so much the pancakes and berries ! The Egg Benedict was just so so.
M. A.
Great food but wait times can be long.
Eggs benedict is solid.
Pancakes are spongy yet firm enough.
G. P.
The place is cool but the food was not as I expected!
The day I went there the place wasn’t really busy (we were a table of 4) but the staff made some mistakes in our order.
For what we took and how it was I think is a bit overpriced.
P. B.
Veggie and meat options. Very cute and quirky establishment. Restaurant was personable and happy to note dietary concerns and accommodate the modification of some dishes! Sizable portions- you won't leave hungry!
E. C.
Such a lovely place to have breakfast. Friendly staff and tasty food.
A. A.
Great English breakfast this morning, the Cabbies breakfast! Bacon, sausage, beans chips and eggs. Banging! Great service and reason prices. Bit of a wait but more than enough in Camden passage to keep you entertained.
R. M.
Average price for London (likely to be a bit expensive for anyone visiting!) the food was amazing, server's were kind, and the entire store seemed very lively and happy!
S. A.
Pancakes were ok-ish and milkshakes are great, prices are London like 😩 BUT at the time we visited was not busy yet tables were left dirty with coffee mugs and plates 🤨
M. R.
Nice and cozy place with pleasant service, plenty of sockets and free wifi so you can sit down and work while enjoying great food. I tried Korean fried chicken with pancakes and kimchi for ~12£. You get free water but automatically pay for service fee.
Y. E.
Overrated. Service was ok, so was the food. No vegetarian sausages, no non-pork meat options, and the waffles were drizzled with sour cream. Wouldn't go again.
A. D.
Great food and extremely nice staff, only inconvenience is you have to wait quite some time to get a table, especially if you're a big group.
e. t.
This was my first visit to the breakfast club, its cosy the food was nice but a bit on the greasy side. A little pricy but ok as a treat.
s. 9.
Lovely as usual. Such welcoming and fun staff. It's so nice to see people enjoying what they do
D. N.
We always order Breakfast Club home when we are in the mood for american style brunch.
At home the food is good, in the Angel restaurant it was great! Shared pancakes and berries. Will definitely go again.
A. A.
Worth every penny. Amazing service...very good people to serve you with a good amount of food in plate worth the price
C. W.
Lovely staff, you need to go at the right times to avoid waiting. Food was very tasty and a good variety on the menu. Would recommend
M. P.
Great food & service as always, however this particularly one is small and you have to queue up to get in.
K. A. B.
Such phenomenal food in a cosy and bustling setting. Great service with genuine smiles.
I. Ž.
Well deserved stars ! Food is just unforgettable, atmosphere very cosy and warm . Lovely place to go for breakfast portions are soOOO BIG , so foodies be ready , great place to chill on your lunch break for a meal or enjoy romantic dinner with some great cocktails !
E. S.
Delicious food and excellent service even though it was a packed house at Sunday brunch time!
N. B.
Nice breakfast restaurant with a lot of original options. Try the Elvis shake with disco fries if you can handle it!
N. G.
Best pancakes I've ever tasted! 😋
N.
Excellent brunch menu. Plus if you are eligible (old) you can get a discount.
R. L.
Lovely breakfast, friendly service. Great value for 65+ :)
J. C.
Everything was delicious. There was a wait to be seated. About half an hour?
O. J. A.
She refilled my water without me asking! Best service ever
M. P.
Great food & service as always, however this particularly one is small and you have to queue up to get in.
C. M. R.
Great Places to have a brunch at London the price is ok.
N. B.
Awesome breakfast /brunch/lunch with lovely staff. You will always find a queue but it is worth waiting to have something from their rich menu. Veggie options are available too.

Had an amazing time here. The staff were lovely and the food was great. Good location and outdoor seating was nicely done too.

This is the place to head if you’re looking for breakfast at any time of the day. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is great, some items on the menu are a LITTLE overpriced though.
R. B.
Stunning breakfast. All tasted so good. I couldn’t finish mine. All really taste.
E. W.
Lovely staff and had some delicious drinks, plenty of seating too
R. H.
Good food, different to standard breakfast offerings.
S. R.
Great brunch ! Price is relaticely cheap for uk’s standard.. its also located right at the center of camden passage !
S. S.
Nice for brunch. Would suggest going when it's not busy as it's quite cramped inside. Not worth the long queues. Friendly staff.
A.
Went to this Breakfast Club for dinner and had amazing Korean style pancakes! This specific location of the chain also felt really cosy.
K. A.
Had an amazing time here. The staff were lovely and the food was great. Good location and outdoor seating was nicely done too.
J. D.
Very cosy and cool place to start your day!! The fruit pancakes were so good! Friendly staff.
R. L.
Great breakfast highly recommend the trench toast!
J. C.
Everything was delicious. There was a wait to be seated. About half an hour?
i. t.
Despite the name, you can eat here all day, treating yourself to sweet and savory snacks and fruit smoothies. The menu is massive, although there isn't much for lactose intolerance, so we ordered pancakes without cream. Prices are generally quite high, considering that it's not complicated dishes, especially for teas and drinks, but the atmosphere is fun and comfy. Bring your friends, not your family, maybe not even your date. But the service is quite entertaining, our waiter kept on showing up at our table blowing soap bubbles and telling jokes!
A.
Love it here. The staff are very good and food is delicious with yummy vegetarian options.
C.
We've been coming for breakfast here for 3 years. A great selection of food & friendly staff
Y. B. i. F.
Lovely brunch, friendly staff and correct pricing.
S. P.
This place doesn't even need reviews it is always busy because it's amazing. I have probably been here around 6 times and every times is just epic. It is worth the wait to get in.
D. M. J.
Amazing breakfast with great staff who are helpful in ensuring your dietary requirements are met (eg. no milk in eggs or butter in spinach) Great choice of sweet and savoury breakfasts 🥐🍳
I. W.
Food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly, helpful and fun.

Customer service need to be improved - Came in after calling 20 mins before. I called and asked if there was availability, the Breakfast Club said yes. I get there and the place is packed, the waitress told me to go in and let the man know I spoke to her - as soon as I go in he very abruptly stops me and says no reservation over the phone go back outside.
I found it very rude to be quite honest, I know when it’s busy people can be on edge but that shouldn’t excuse good manners.
H. A. K.
reggie the veggie and the english breakfast tea.. it was delicious.. first time im in london at when i came the second time i will visit here again :)
K. A.
Coworkers took me here for lunch and I was able to get a proper English breakfast. The vibe is very retro and the music selection was excellent. It's super small, so we were a bit cramped, but that's kind of the vibe. This is a good breakfast/brunch place.
J. T.
Huge portions but very satisfying breakfast food
M. D.
I renounce all other pancakes.
TBC pancakes are so good, they've ruined all other pancakes for me. No exaggeration.
The cafe itself is alright but not all that interesting inside. Worth it for the pancakes though ;).
M. E.
Great vegan breakfast
g. v.
Great, great American breakfast food with a vibrant and lively feel. The service was great for us with the food not taking too long to arrive.
I'd come here again, it's worth the wait.
R. C.
I had the OUTTA LOCKDOWN FRITTERS which were incredible, and was waited on immaculately by Douglas. Perfect 😊
L. L.
Delicious pancakes and breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg, cheese and red onion chutney.
L. K.
I had this weird pulled pork benedict dish and it worked for me perfectly. Tapped beer would be nice
C. C.
Cute cafe, long queues. Good sized portions for price point and average service.
K. S.
I am really unsure as to how I feel about this place. The staff? Not attentive even though there were only two other tables to be served. Also one of the waitresses didn’t hear our order correctly twice. The food however? The pancakes were delicious and for that reason alone I would be happy to come back. My friends were really impressed with the portions too though in my opinion, the burger that my friend got was very basic. It wasn’t served as nice as the pancakes either. To each their own I guess.
A. M.
Good coffee good food.
No complaints
A. N.
Went for brunch at around 11:30 had to wait for almost 45min for the food to arrive. The menu is very unique and food is also nice but the service is awfully slow.
J. A.
Is ok, I think the one in hoxton has a better space and better food.
R. S.
Great service and food. We went on a Sunday morning so it was busy and wait time was 30 minutes. Staff was Following covid guidelines.
m.
Super friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and delicious food!!!!!!
A. T.
I loved this place so much I came back the next day before I left the country
C. G.
Okay, I’m an American guy, so take this with a grain of salt, but what a refreshing visit back to the 80s/90s. The food was outstanding. I got a chorizo bowl mix, and it was heavy and flavorful! Mix that with a coffee and one of their awesome smoothies, and I was in heaven. What a great atmosphere as well.
If you’re ever looking for breakfast in the H&I area, look no further!
E. H.
Great food, friendly staff, funny decor for 1980's lovers. Breakfast was fab,had Reggie the Veggie!

One of the better Breakfast Clubs and in a fun location. Plus, getting at least some brunch options in the evening is nice! Like most BCs the food is good though not a great value, especially with an automatic gratuity added to the bill. Awesome location and vibe with charming waiters. The quality of the meals varies day to day, from "okay" to "quite good" with portions varying wildly (see my "pancake"). Anything you special request has a 2/3rds chance of not being done, because though the service is really friendly, it's also quite poor. If you need anything special, like say, butter for your toast, you will have to shout someone down for it because they will not come to check if your meal is okay.
How I review:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top tier, I go out of my way to recommend
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, I'd happily do again
⭐⭐⭐ Mediocre, I'd only do again in a pinch
⭐⭐ Poor, I will avoid
⭐ Bad, I go out of my way to warn against
Always -1⭐ for shady deals, hidden fees, danger, etc.

Small but cozy place with nice waiters. We went here for brunch and I had a classic English breakfast (eggs, sausages, black pudding, baked beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes and of course some butterd toast) which was delicious and really abundant. I actually had to wait to be seated due to the small capacity but once inside all went smoothly and I were really satisfied with it. I really recommend it if you want to have a really good brunch.
C. R.
A cosy spot with excellent food. I enjoyed lovely poached eggs and very well seasoned chips with pleasant staff. The wait was only 10 minutes when I was there, but I know got up to about half an hour as lunchtime approached. You can book for the evening, but in the day just have to be patient. It was worth my 10 minutes.
B. K.
I loved everything about this place. Everything from the atmosphere to the marshmallows on my hot chocolate. The food here is great. I'd recommend the rye breed with avocado, enjoyed with a green smoothie with protein powder - if you're in for a healthy, tasty treat. Pancakes and hot chocolate is also great tasting! I'll be back!
R. B.
Great food, less good range of soft drinks.
F. M.
Great food and delcious drinks in a cost atmosphere with friendly staff. The perfect casual place.
Went with a a friend spontaneously - we were walking past. We each enjoyed bloody marys and another delicious cocktail the name of which I can't remember. I ate the American breakfast which had all the good savory stuff like eggs and bacon and potatoes and it also included two small pancakes.... Perfect combo for me.
N. B.
I'm so glad this place is my local! It gets pretty busy / hectic / noisy, but food is top notch and staff are great. Interior is fun and well lit, in comparison... Breakfast here is a nice start to the day if you manage to get a table. Get there a little early as no bookings available
G. K.
£13.50 breakfast brunch its tasty but a tiny sausage. Watch out for service charge.
B. R.
AMAZING, my absolute favourite place to have breakfast and lunch in the WHOLE of London, the people are amazing, the food is delicious, and the location could not be better placed and more beautiful. Seriously, try it.
C. M. R.
Great Places to have a brunch at London the price is ok.
e.
Love this place! There banana split is amazing. Even though I really enjoyed this place it's getting 4 stars because of a staff member. I went in asked for a table which was bang on in the middle I had asked we could be moved to the side she just rolled her eyes and didn't seem very please when I had asked to be moved. Bare in mind we hadn't even sat down at the initial table. Sure a smile wouldn't kill. However another who took our order was lovely.
E. C. W.
Smaller and more homey than any other Breakfast Clubs, with that said, the tables and seats are relatively smaller and less comfortable. Staff are ok. Food is as good as always. BUT I wouldn't recommend to go on a warm day, it's very, VERY, warm inside.
A. K.
A really warm welcome and great service from the Manager who made sure we were talked through the different menu options. Lovely burrito and eggs benedict. Memorable brunch!
s.
Love at first bite. The food was fantastic, I had a basic English breakfast but my God was it delicious! At first glance the menu may look a bit pricey however, when you see other people receiving their meals you understand why, the portions are large and has a great atmosphere to match. Highly recommended!
c. f.
Great customer service! very friendly! Me and my friend was sitting on a table and the waitress asked would you mind if you give up your seats and we will give you the seats over there since a customer of 6 would like the big table. I said yes because i understand people are waiting outside for a long time. Then the manager or the man working there said you can have any drink for free! that was so lovely (positive karma), he didnt have to but he did so thank you :)
a. l.
Great breakfast. Excellent costumer service 👌🏻
A. A.
Mornings in London call for kickass breakfasts from The Breakfast Club❤️
Q.
Really amazing, great food, amazing staff and gluten free bread. What more could you ask for
G. B.
Absolutely lovely place. Great food, delightful, friendly, helpful people. Totally recommend.
D. O. C.
Cool little alternative breakfast spot. Menu is great, service was OK but it was very busy so they did well. Its very hot in there though, pancakes are amazing, light and fluffy, bit short on the maple syrup though. Price is reasonable and coffee is nice.
A.
Perfect if your in the mood for a typical American style breakfast, really great menu. I've seen people queuing for this place before - the food is decent but personally I'd say not worth waiting in a line to eat here.
A bit cramped inside but the decor is cool.
Service was great.
G. G.
I've never been as in love with the breakfast club as a lot of people, but some of the food is pretty good - recommend moving away from the classic breakfasts and trying something a bit different. Service is a bit hit and miss - well meaning but occasionally slow. Overall not bad, but not worth queing for.
C. P.
This place is wonderful. It’s quirky, fun, and has great service and food. Prepare to wait, it’s a popular places, but know that it is worth the wait. Their breakfast and brunch menu is drool worthy and they have an excellent selection of morning libations to choose from.
o. p.
Best fried chicken chicken and waffles I've had by far. The lemonade is tasty and refreshing
Good, friendly service, although one of the waitresses started clearing the ketchup bottles off the tables without caring if the customers were still using them.
I'm definitely going to come back.
S. T.
Good food, but pricey and slow service. Overall 6/10
A. S.
It was my first time visiting the Brekafast Club and absolutely loved it really wonderful selection of Brekafast dishes. I had buttermilk pancakes topper with fruit and orange juice. Me and my partner enjoyed our meal and the service.
R. N.
Original location. You will wait in line. Super fun atmosphere and solid food. Had berry pancakes and chorizo hash. Both were very good. Service was great and fresh juice was delicious.
D. F.
Great breakfast and service was friendly and good.
A. H.
In general I prefer the Soho branch to this instillation of the Breakfast Club chain as I have found the staff a bit more friendly and it's also in general a bit easier to get in and get a table. With this branch I've gone in intending to do an order for takeaway and stood there for 10 minutes with not a single staff member willing to give me the time of day before I decided I'd rather get lunch elsewhere. The food is the same great Breakfast Club tastiness but it definitely takes some effort if you want to eat there.
L. J.
What a great spot in a cool area. Lovely and friendly staff especially Joe who is a lovely and funny guy. He loved our 5 year old son's artwork and hung it on the wall! Great and generous food too. Recommend highly.
s. b.
Waitress spilled my drink but was polite and gave me a replacement. I had chicken waffle but it was v cold but my friends pancakes were really hot and tasty.
L. C.
The food here is really good and plentiful. The pancakes with berries are to die for. You need to queue on weekends, sometimes for over an hour, but I've rarely been discouraged by that (once it was raining and the staff were lending out umbrellas and giving us small portions of hot chocolate to keep us warm).
The space is small and fun and the crowd is usually quiet and well behaved. The staff is usually also nice and friendly.
The only drawback? When it's busy you'll be pressed to leave right after you finish eating. Understandable but annoying to those who like to enjoy a little post-meal seated rest...
F. V.
Sort of like a one night stand: good idea at the time but you wouldn't want to revisit. If you are a fan of the film it's a nice idea. The decor is interesting and the service is super friendly. The 2 stars were lost in the food itself. It is pretty much an extravagantly priced standard English breakfast, that is if a standard breakfast is cooked in the same fryer, as all the food ultimately had the same taste throughout. It has to be done once though, just like that ditzy one from the bar.
A. V.
How can I say anything bad about this Breakfast Club?? The food is amazing and abundant, drinks are great, atmosphere is lovely and the area is just super cute. We had an all american breakfsat and maple pancakes, topped by a bloody mary and a drink which I don't remember what was called but it was peachy and delicious. Coffees were also quite good! All and all, I recommend it wholeheartedly!
D. B.
The food was great, not much to fault there! Waiter's were very friendly also! However, myself and my partner were not very comfortable with the seating arrangement. It didn't feel like they had taken on board the covid guidelines for ensuring 1m between each table/person and it was soo cramped, the waiter's and customers coming and going were brushing past me throughout my meal and some without masks, which made it less enjoyable unfortunately... hence my 4 out of 5!
S. W.
Lovely food and fantastic service every time I visit.
J. D.
Very good, full size portions. Menu has something for everyone. Very busy with a wait every time I passed by. Take advantage of sitting with people you don't know at a group table, great conversation and you get to see variety in selections. This is a place you return to time and time again.
C. A.
Elvis shake is wonderful and breakfast is tasty, however waiting times, organisation around it is VERY POOR. Had to wait 1hour and 15 minutes and all I was told was - almost there, just a few more minutes... Sorry Breakfast Club, you are NOT THAT GOOD :(
D.
Such a beautiful, cosy place. They have different branches around London, but I went to the one in Angel, my favourite neighborhood.
The food is just heavenly and prices are I'd say average for a night or brunch out.
P. L.
Managed to get a table after a 40min wait (Angel branch). I was a little disappointed that the experience didn't live up to my expectations. The English breakfast tea was very bland, my companion didn't like their latte. The full monty and pancakes that we ordered were nothing special. Sadly it wasn't worth the 40min wait - I have had better brunch/breakfast elsewhere (e.g. Delaunay)with the added bonus of advance booking. Perhaps it's an age thing!
O. J. A.
She refilled my water without me asking! Best service ever
L. T.
Small place, big taste. Went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was full, but no lines (got there in sliver of time between brunch and lunch, so people were just about finishing up). Got a breakfast wrap, which was decent - odd that they squirted condiments on top of the wrap instead of inside of it. Maybe a London thing? At any rate, this place does get packed and has lines during usual breakfast, brunch and lunch hours.
S. B.
This place was buzzing all the time we were there. Really friendly and helpful staff. Wide range of breakfast material to suit all diets. The food was amazing.
C. B.
A great spot to have some quality diner-esque food. The interior decor and vibes are awesome, though I wish our waitress wasn't so hostile....(maybe she was having a bad day?!) I had the Veggie Pancakes and they were delicious. One downside is obviously the queuing, though that can't be helped. I also can't seem to justify spending £2.50 for some hot water and a few mint leaves, but hey!
A. L. C.
Great food and lovely staff.
Q. Y.
Average food, unhappy waitress (still have to pay for 12.5% service fee). Didn't feel like to be served properly.
There are so many other brunch places in this area, not worthy queuing for this one.
L. R. J.
Not the best food. Old coffee.
G. S.
A great place for brunches. Any time I have people visiting me, I bring them here (this particular one too for the location). I tried various things including the classic English or American breakfasts and always enjoyed loads. The coffees are great and also the smoothies are fantastic! I like the fact they have occasionally events (like a Halloween theme). The queue is often massive (also because the place isn't huge) but it's worth the wait, plus when it's cold they often give a warm drink to keep people from freezing while waiting. Absolutely recommended!
S. P.
Awesome food and awesome people. It worths the time you wait in queue outside!
E. E.
Can't fault it. I went with my colleagues for my farewell meal and drinks and really had a lovely time. The food was great and came at a timely matter. Everyone who had something to eat enjoyed it. I had the Halloumi burger with butternut and it really was full of flavour. And the Prosecco was just perfect. Thank you to the charming gent who served our table and showed me how to get ketchup from the bottle without making a big mess. Big thumbs up, we all loved it and I will definitely recommend Breakfast club.
K. L.
Very small venue! So book or get there early if you can. Delicious food and worth the price. I really recommend the “morning glory” smoothie and the muffin breakfast.
H.
The food here is great. Not many places get a vegetarian sausage right but this place did. The interior was lovely. Definitely a instagramable place! Further, if u get bored there r plenty of game u can play. Deducting one star as I felt a few thing on the menu were slightly overpriced.
G. C.
Excellent place for breakfast and branch! Try the "full monty" or if you prefer something sweet try the all American pancakes - just delicious. Cons: huge queues and no reservation can be made. The area inside is quite narrow - things are better during summer that you can also be seated outside.
A. J.
Excellent and LARGE authentically American breakfasts. If you like your morning meal with lashings of maple syrup (and really you should) then this is the place to come. Be warned- it can get busy. But it's worth the wait.
A. A.
It's a very lovely place with nice staff. I had avocado on rye with poached egg but wasn't exceptional. However, we also tried scrambled eggs on toast and those were great. A little bit expensive but I guess it's the price of fame!
P. C.
Great food, outstanding friendly service.
R. G.
I had a fried chicken and pancake stack. It was HUGE and so so good! Servers were very friendly, and the venue is very bright and pretty. Highly recommend the breakfast club!
C. S.
Food was good (good pancakes and I loved the peanut butter and banana milkshake!!) - but the portions are really huge and thus the prices are on the higher end for breakfast (almost 30 pounds for 2 people).
Coffee wise - the flat white I got could pass as a latte in regular coffee shops!
On the other hand I really really enjoyed singing along with the staff to random songs and dancing in my chair while having breakfast so overall I had a great time and would come back if only for the morning cheer up :)
F. D. E.
I work nearby and there is always a queue in front of this place especially for brunch in the weekend. I went in the evening to try it and it was pretty full (we waited 15min outside to be seated). the place is pretty cramped. we ordered few things from the menu and I must say the service is very rushed and not attentive (the waitress came at the table to order then because we weren't fast enough the waitress left and then she came back 10min later to take the order again, then the food arrived but not the water and we had to ask again..etc..). the food is ok (english breakfast, burgers, chips, wraps, salads .. brunch stuff that looks pretty and colorful) but overpriced. I honestly don't understand why people wait for more than 30min in a line outside in the cold to eat here.
B. F.
The food came so fast than what I expected. The food is so fantastic; it’s filled of a wide variety, delightful and extremely satisfying. If you sit in the back on the left side, you will see the drawers for a notepad full of souvenirs left by other breakfast fanatics like you. This is truly a great place with a good food.
H. C.
Amazing food and service
Thanks Douglas!
P. C.
Went there on Sunday. Queue for 30 minutes but totally worth it. The service was quick and the staffs were very friendly. The food were excellent. Price was ok(average 10 pounds per dish). Would recommend others to visit the restaurant.
S. w.
Would have got 5 stars a year ago, but the food quality has gone down hill a bit. The service is usually good. Can be busy especially weekends.
L. S.
Typical american style breakfasts, including pancakes with maple syrup seem to draw massive crowds every weekend. I usually get the veggie breakfast (vegan's beware the sausages have dairy in them, but they are happy to replace with avocado and other veggies). While the food is decent, its definitely not worth the hour+ wait you will find on weekends.
C. T.
This place is okay. The food portions are kinda small and they aren't really that tasty, especially the pancakes. However, they totally redeem themselves with a great atmosphere, great staff, and delicious fruit juices.
J. T.
The food was 'blah'...and was incredibly busy on Saturday morning with queues meaning you share a table with strangers.
The only reason I'm giving ⭐⭐⭐ is because the service from the waitress was very attentive and nice. Well done 👍.
L. T.
Great 'American' pancakes topped with fresh fruit. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good place to go for breakfast or lunch after being at the Business Design Center.
G. R.
Great breakfast in Angel! As nice as other branches.
On weekends, expect some wait but they take your name+phone # and you receive a text when table is ready
K. W.
Fantastic food, lovely staff, lively atmosphere
S. P.
OMG Pancakes were fantastic but filling. Suggest sharing them. Great place and lovely friendly staff. Shame I live 100 miles away. Would definitely be a regular visitor other wise.
P. N.
Very nice, cozy, hipsta place. I tried brinner (breakfast dinner) Korean fried chicken pancakes and it was absolutely fantastic. Probably the best Korean food I've had. This café is also good for coding/working, they have wifi. Thumbs up!
C. S.
Lovely place, everything was great and tasty
M. A.
The halloumi wrap is a must try, never fails. The place is funky and nice. The customer service is professional and friendly. I take a star off because of the queue, the place is victim of its own fame, rightly earned though.
J. H.
Pretty expensive - vegetarian breakfast was £8.70, and once we'd added in drinks (one milkshake and one smoothie) and service our breakfast for two came to about £27. I'd expect something a bit more special for the price. The veggie sausage was a particular disappointment - some sort of cornmeal perhaps(?) - the sort of thing that makes meat eaters say vegetarian food tastes like sawdust. The rest of the breakfast wasn't exactly awful - but it wasn't that great either. I also found it pretty loud, and hard to have a proper conversation. Given the queuing and the price I probably wouldn't go again (unless they introduced a radically more exciting vegetarian sausage, perhaps).
J. F.
Food is quite nice and the staff are without fault. Interior is cute too. However, it's quite pricey and on weekends there is normally a pretty large queue; Which i'm sure is great for the business. Personally, I'm not gonna queue for 30 mins+ when there are so many other great restaurants nearby.
P. O. T. H.
Great American pancakes and bacon. Good service and even managed to sit outside .
C. W.
A friend and I both have Fridays off, so decided today to check out The Breakfast Club in hopes of avoiding the well-publicized wait. We were sat immediately, so the tactic definitely worked. What isn't publicized, though, is that the Angel location is tiny - and poorly laid out. When one of the tables near me got up to leave, two people from two other tables had to stand up and move their chairs to let them leave. Definitely disrupts the dining experience.
The food, though, was delicious. We shared an order of Eggs Royale (eggs, salmon, hollandaise) and an order of the pancakes with vanilla cream and berries. I miss good quality American style pancakes, and these were just incredible. To drink, we shared a pitcher of Green is Good, a smoothie made from spinach, mint, apples, and I think some kind of berry. Looks weird, tastes weirder, but is somehow addictive and refreshing. You won't be sad if you order it, and it's great value to go for a pitcher instead of ordering one for each of you.
Regarding the decor: I'm a huge fan of 80s movies, and while I loved the tributes to 80s pop culture on the wall, was saddened by the lack of other John Hughes movies or any of my other favorite 80s movies!
S. W.
Cool place, nice food and quirky
M. C.
Brilliant place for a decent self indulgent breakfast
T. M.
Top service, tasty food, can't go wrong.
G. D.
One of the best place place I had a good breakfast.
C. B.
We were in a rush, staff found a way to squeeze us in and the breakfast was amazing. Really. Friendly and good food, just wish it was bigger, always busy!
D. P.
Very tasty brunch with a large selection to choose from. Definitely worth the waiting to sit. I strongly recommend it.
E. H.
Ordered pancakes and a chocolate shake. Very rich, and so you really need to be very hungry as all meals are very heavy.
S. W.
Amazing service, great food and drinks! Very close to the Angel Underground station, if you are looking for a quick and delicious bite. Can't wait to go again!
J. J.
Great queuing system as it’s a small and cramped, good if you like a very strong atmosphere. Food is good and service too. Only thing for me is the one is Shoreditch is bigger and waiting time for a table is lower so I’ll be going to that one in the future. But if you’re in the area i’d check this place out for brekkie!
S. R.
The staff are really friendly and it's in a great location if you've got a train to catch. However, the most important thing - the food - let's it down. Overpriced dry pancakes and rubbery eggs for a premium price...
N. S.
Amazing ambiance. This is your classic greasy spoon, but with a bit of high-class flare and oodles of old-school film memorabilia on the walls. I found myself wide-eyed, trying to absorb all there was to see! They serve all-day breakfast (win!) and I really enjoyed the "When Halloumi Met Salad" wrap (clever, clever name). Prices are on average £10/meal, but portions are generous and really yummy. I could imagine this place gets REALLY busy in a Saturday or Sunday morning, so leave plenty of time.
F. J.
Funky and retro decor. Be prepared to wait in line at this location. The pulled pork sandwich is by far the stand out on the menu. The rest is your regular breakfast fare (more or less). Staff has always been friendly. You may have less of a wait at the Hoxton Square location.
S. D.
Nice place with a local feel, we'll come again to try some other things.
S. Z.
There is a lot of hype around the breakfast club! My expectations were high but I felt a little let down. I had the potato hash which was marginal, not value for money or as good as expected. Still it's always packed with a line outside. Not worth queuing for in my opinion, a couple of doors down is 'Elk in the Woods' similar price, but much better quality!
P. A.
Great place. Fantastic staff. Had a wonderful birthday meal. Disco Fries are possibly the greatest taste my mouth has ever experienced.
R. W.
For a place that specialises in breakfast, I'd expect phenomenal pancakes, but they were only ok. Served with barely any syrup - I had to ask for more twice!! Overall my impression was "meh".
L. S.
Love that place, food is great! just wish there were more locations in London so we don't have to go through a 45 minutes standing outside kinda of queue. But staff at Angel is on top of their game reflecting brand and good customer service.
S. Q.
Great breakfast in a great location. Definitely worth trying.
M. C.
It was really nice however they do not allow for swaps in meals that are not specifically specified in the menu. This was very frustrating as a vegetarian
C. F.
Good for that all American breakfast/brunch hankering that you may have, although much more expensive than a typical US diner would be. Pancakes are a little heavy/stodgy.
A. P.
Great experience. The Shaksuka was really good and the Salted Caramel Banoffee Pancakes were just amazing!! Would recommend! Friendly staff, good service and bingo was fun too!
G. H.
We had a great breakfast here. We arrived before 9am on a Sunday which meant no queuing. Staff were lovely and the food was tasty and portions large! I recommend the breakfast burrito.
J. H.
Surprisingly expensive for what you get. Atrocious cheesy music blaring too loud but the staff are young and enthusiastic. Don't bother going on weekends unless you don't mind queueing as the place is tiny, although things improve in the summer when they add more outdoor tables.
C. M.
Food is good but not good enough to wait 2 hours for it! the virtual queue is always super long and you always have to wait to get in - so, not convenient if you are hungry!
V. R.
Food is good (5 stars), service really bad (1 star). *Lots* of confusion after we got the message that the table was ready. Also, you have to pay for it 15% by default, forcing you into paying for bad service.
A. K.
"Oh my goodness we waited for two hours and it was so worth it," said nobody genuinely because it's not true.
I guess the attraction of the place is in the ritualistic queuing and the sense of victory you feel when you finally sit down. And because you waited that long, you can't really say it wasn't worth it, because it would reflect badly on you.
Go here for the memory and bragging rights, but not the experience.
Come to think of it, this place is "the Shed" but it's actually real.
The food is average. You can make this at home. But so can the Shed.
N. d.
Pretty good place, great tastes and good service. Went there one afternoon after a 22 hr flt from Oz. Some intro to local wares - coffee? Fantastic. Big queue on Saturday morning, worth the wait? You betcha.
L. F.
Amazing place, food always top notch and hard to beat. Lovely quirky little cafe that is known to be heaving on a weekend. The orange juice is delicious.
M.
Great little spot for breakfast reasonable price and friendly staff
t. f.
Nice place for breakfast in North London. Experience was only bettered by our waitress Sofia, always smiling and so helpful! Can't wait to go back
C. L.
Lovely little place. Great food and really polite nice friendly girls serving. I had a cabbies breakfast and it set me up for the day. Tastey sausages too.
A. C.
Nice atmosphere and service, BUT, £45 for 3 pancakes and soft drinks. Eye wateringly expensive and actually ludicrous. I wouldn't go back simply because of the excessive cost.
L. G.
I've had some lovely breakfasts and coffee here. The pancakes are my favourite thing on the menu! It can sometimes be a bit chaotic when it's busy though.
S. S.
Amazing Pancakes. We were recommended to go here, what a great place for food. Loved the pancakes with berries and ice cream on top. Just give it a try and your senses will love you
E. M.
Good portion size for meal.
S. L.
The place for breakfast!
The Pancakes& berries are a must and the argy bhaji is amazing if you love spicy food.
The coffee is good and the staff are helpful and friendly:)
B. “. C.
Got dragged here by some friends who assured me it was amazing and that queues got insane it was so good.
Was greeted by a somewhat kitschy little cafe which was showing some wear.
Ordered the hilariously priced and named All American. American style this was NOT. The pancakes were dense and heavy, unlike the fluffy and light ones I would expect from even Dennys or IHOP. The bacon and sausage were okay but the "hash browns"? What hash browns? What I received where basically fried potato chunks. Clearly the chef has never seen a hash brown. Didnt receive any maple syrup, I think the waitress forgot it.
It would appear The Breakfast Club is a greasy spoon that trades on its unjustified reputation, with overinflated prices, so-so food and poor service.
I could have gotten better for less in any number of "greasy spoon" cafes anywhere you care to name.

Nice breakfast, had the chorizo hash browns and some pancakes. The pitcher of fresh tropical juice was also great!
However, was quite overpriced and not really worth the wait. :(

I really don't get why people love the Breakfast Club so much - The food is ok, the portions are tiny though and the fact that people wait in a queue outside for so long confuses me...especially when you can get great breakfasts in other places near by.
Saying that, the atmosphere is really good and the staff are super friendly.

Food is good but overpriced for what it is, there are plenty of places to go for brunch around that are just as nice / nicer! Worth going if your up early to skip the queue and get a comfy seat otherwise not really worth it.

Its can be hit or miss and when they are on point they are. When they drop the ball, You feel pressed for time. The food it always enjoyable but the staff need better organizational skils. However the food here is always my beckoning.

It was ok. Good food, nice service. Nothing extraordinary. Coffee so so. I still don't know why this place has such a huge queues.

Superb breakfast, really friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. I visited on a friday morning and ordered the cabbies breakfast which arrived really quickly despite being pretty busy. Highly recommended!

Food was excellent, but it was the staff that made this meal special today!
Could not fault service 10 out of 10!

Went here for a late breakfast - the Full Monty is filling so if you get up late and hungry it's ideal!
Lots of querky decor including notes pinned up from people talking about their experiences there. Kind of regretting not adding to it myself! 😅

Good quality-price ratio! One of the best location for breakfast/brunch even the week.
Friendly staff and good service.

Hidden deep inside Camden Passage, we arrived in this branch of the Breakfast Club as it was dimming down its lights and preparing for dinner service, though its unmistakable sunshine-bright yellow walls make it hard for me to think of it for anything other than broad-daylight breakfast. We had dinner here, and since it had just struck cocktail hour when we arrived, we went heavy with the restaurant's tempting selection of cocktails. The 'Hemingway Daquiri' and the 'Earl Grey Sour' were my favourites of the night.

I just looove the steak here! The starter has changed since the last time I visited. I had the beef/bacon with Yorkshire pudding. The steak was amazing! And the dessert was shortbread with peanut butter ice cream. Yummyyyy!

Excellent food and not too expensive! But it's really popular, so you might have to wait a bit to be seated. But it's worth it!
B. P.
Talking about both food and experience, I feel like the breakfast club is overrated. After a 30min wait, we were offered to sit outside while people stand next to us to wait get a seat inside. The service is good but the food is not extraordinary. Not worth the wait but worth what you pay for the food.

The service was very nice and friendly. The eggs benedict were a bit dry and so does the pancakes. Coffee was mediocre, other than that, great atmosphere and vibes.

It was a while I wasn't able to enter to a tge breakfast club place.
I enjoyed my dinner with a nice vegetarian hamburger with halloumi and sweet potatoes on a side.
The place was small, mostly intimate. The place in between the front Street windows very characteristic.

Not as good as the one in hoxton, seating is cramped and the "sofas" uncomfortable. Service was slow for Monday lunch time.
Biggest issue for me was the "classic poutine", a dribble of gravy and goats cheese? That's no what I'm after if I order poutine

One of my fav breakfast club locations! Quaint but still with the same vibe as the rest. Lovely staff and quick service. The food is always top notch.

I always love it there, the staff is a delight and as sweet as the mouthwatering pancakes that they serve. More intimate and cosy then the other I visited, really a wonderful treat! 😁

SO GOOD! Such an amazing deal, and really lovely breakfast. The line can be quite long on the weekend mornings, so be prepared for a wait (especially when the weather is nice).

Great little spot in Angel for all day breakfast. Must try the pancake and bacon!
Very small and limited space so it gets busy quick. Service is really slow, as staff are very distracted by each other.

Always a huge queue outdoors which can be very slow and I feel like its an overhyped full english... That saying, I have always enjoyed the food and never had an issue with it so 3 stars! Atmosphere is also really fun.
E. T.
Cosy place with very friendly staff. The menu was awesome, classic breakfasts but also a few unusual options. Loved it
N. V.
Food is good but overpriced. Worst thing is the long queue to get a table though. If you're find standing on the street for like an hour then it's fine but I don't think it's really worth the wait.
D. G.
I really like the atmosphere and the food is good. Maybe a little bit expensive but the staff is very friendly. I think sometime is worth spent some time in queue to go here. Negative: they apply the optional service charge without asking so why only 3 stars

Lovely place with great food. Nice indoors and service was fantastic! If you’re nearby don’t hesitate to visit this place.

Went around 2:30 pm on a Saturday and we were seated right away. Portions are abundant and prices affordable. Food is yummy!

Service was good, food was really nice, went on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait for a table for over an hour, would definitely advise booking beforehand! The quality of the food made the wait worth it!

Really lovely breakfast location. Very busy after mid day with queues forming outside.
Staff were freindly, got the impression they were a tad stressed!
H. Z.
Very delicious breakfast, with great service. But be sure to be early on saturdays, as it can get busy very quickly
M. R.
The queue is sometimes too long fur what you get, but in general it us a great place for breakfast. I love their smoothies pitcher.
B. C.
Stopped by for a quick bite over lunch. It was not busy and our burger meals came quickly. Service is casual and friendly.
J. M.
Food was great. Staff really friendly. Clean.
Cappuccino was amazing, thanks Mateo.😀
M. N.
Excellent place for breakfast. food is top notch and service is also very good

Heaps of avocado on toasted granary bread sprinkled with devil chillies, lovely fresh juices and strong coffee. Just what you need after a night out. The decor in this place is quite busy, though, so you might want to keep your sunnies on indoors!

Nice food, usual que but hey ho gotta go.. great staff and drinks.. good atmosphere and pricey for the food, but real ingredients and put together well.
B. A.
Great food, big portions and friendly staff!! I’ve been there quite a few times and it’s never been disappointing!

What an amazing place! Food was beyond delicious, really nice staff. If In London stop by for the veggie sausage, they are great! Will be back when we return to London.

The Breakfast Club in Angel has a more cosy vibe than its Shoreditch counterpart. This season they've added a few grumpy-looking Christmas themed gnomes to add some festive cheer. At the back, down a step or two, is the main seating area which feels less like an 80s throwback bar and a bit more like a ski lodge with a low wooden ceiling. It's completely lovely and of course, one of the best places for a constant supply of milkshakes and pancakes throughout the day. The sausages and mash are 'award winning' too, should you fancy some variety. As always, head down in the evening for an easier visit avoiding queuing out the door. If there's a queue, Kipfel opposite is worth a look into.

Amazing veggie food. X
_.
The menu was so rich, the food was so amazing and the service was so friendly I'm really looking forward for our next visit

Went for Thanksgiving Dinner. Staff were very pleasant. Menu was a bit weird this year but overall a nice night out.
M. T. D.
Menu was a bit small for my liking and the pancakes weren't very appetising. Great shakes though
M. B.
Good food, pretty standard London prices. Had different levels of service there.. often quite a long wait but it's a fun environment so worth a visit!
D. C.
It's everything you've heard about it and less. The breakfast is alright but not the kind of place I would dream about going to again. Service wasn't the best, and the prices are just a tad too high for what you get.
J. H.
Quirky all day breakfast joint, part of the small chain. Smoothies recommended and good variety or healthy, sweet or artery clogging breakfast choices and good coffee.
K. S.
Quite possibly the best sausage and egg sandwich I've ever had. Great food, drinks and service.
I.
Food was great, the location is very trendy hipster, but a small. Prices are decent and service was very friendly!
Overall 3/5
