Two words for you: LEMON RICE Utterly delicious, soft flavoursome rice with toasted cashews. I could have eaten two trays! Also had vegetable jalfrezi and korma, which were good value . Friendly service and great value for money....will return! Edit Jan 2022: realistically, the curries are a pretty average, but it’s pretty cheap, so hey ho.

This is a very 'down to business' type of establishment. There are no bells and whistles about the decor; that's fine, because the 'business' here is the food and the food is magnificent. The menu is wide ranging. The service is excellent, albeit at times curt. But all the staff are very professional. The restaurant is off the high street, in a residential neighborhood. It's a rare find in London. The prices are below London standard, and the food well above. I have taken many friends and family here for a meal. They have all loved it.

Would give 6 stars if I could! Honestly the best tasting Indian I have ever had! My partner and I lived in Wandsworth for years and got takeaway from here every few weeks - it became a Friday tradition! Even though we moved out to Richmond last year we still come back to the Chutney occasionally as we have found nothing even close to comparable. If you've never tried food from here before I would thoroughly recommend. Our personal favourites are the Veg. korma and Veg. Jalfrezi although everything else we have ordered has been great too.

This might low key be the best Indian restaurant in London, tasty and delicious like you wouldn't believe, I've been ordering takeout about every week and haven't found a single thing yet on their menu to be disliked. Special props to their (garlic) naan and aubergine side dish. Nice and friendly service.

Only went there because we found Chit Chat Chai closed and... what a find! Can’t believe I had never heard of it in all these years I have been living around. The food was delicious and service super friendly. We had Goan fish curry which was delicious, and Pumpkin Masala... OMG!!! This was a real star! Okra on the side also very good, as well as the paratha and rice... what else can I say... I am glad Chit Chat Chai was closed, as that allowed us to find a real local gem. Will be going back soon.

I know, I know, shut up about you groan, but I must say that this one's even better than the one on Wandsworth Common. Small, boutique-ish and up-lit, this restaurant oozes cool, and what else do you want when tucking in to the best Salad Nicoise you could ever eat. Isn't it? Maybe I haven't travelled enough? One of my favourite restaurants in Wandsworth and definitely the best Indian restaurant I have been to in London. Food is always good and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Whilst plain and polite in decor and rudimentary but effective in service, the food here is superlative. The okra (dry) and aubergine dishes were so fresh, perfectly cooked and spiced (as opposed to spicy). The reports from all four of us were positive, two fish curries, a lamb rogan and a chicken tikka masala. Even the naan was singled out for praise. Other reviewers have stated "best curry in London", well I am serious to say that, locally, this rivals any Tooting establishment. The fact that we were introduced to this local establishment via a meerkat meal promo (2-4-1 on dishes) made it a complete bargain.

Literally the best Indian The guys (including their regular delivery guys) are so nice The tandoori king prawn is amazing and the brinjal masala - so good! The best thing is the sour korma. The Chutney is a restaurant situated in a suburban house. The appearance may be deceiving and the restaurant decor neutral. The first time you come in you'll be treated with great service and any subsequent visits you'll be treated like a friend. The food is great and reasonably priced. My Indian restaurant of choice every time. Don't get takeaway, always have a sit down dinner! Always take friends here for a good curry, great for dates too. Can't recommend this place enough.
