If you want to taste authentic Indian🇮🇳 food , I would definitely recommend here. The onion bhajjis were really good. Herabhara kabab and samosa were not that good but ok. The chutneys given were good. The tandoori rotis were good. The subz kofta was good too. The delivery was on time with good packaging. The prices are moderate.

best indian food I have had their special mince and lamb or chicken curry with house special rice really took me away full of flavour with just enough spice deserve a mischellene for that dish. portion was perfect even though I ran out of rice whilst eating with the curry they still offered me a top which i humbly refused as I didnt need it. Rice is unbelieveable for the quality you are getting, supper tender soft lamb with flavour full curry sauce. the mango lassi was just right. and top notch custpmer service. on top of all that they do not include service charge in your final bill which cam be quite awkward someyimes to ask a restaruant to remove.

Managed to get back to the Coriander for the first time since the pandemic and glad to see it has survived this difficult time. The staff, as always, were brilliant. I didn’t need to check the menu as I chose my go to dish when I’m here, the Lamb Noorjahani and I was delighted to see that whilst the world around has changed significantly in the last year the dish remained as tasty as ever. Accompanied by a lovely light garlic naan and mushroom rice it was really great to be back.

Best Indian we have had in the area. A good curry house is hard to come by. Thought we would give Corianders a go and wow, loved it! The spices and ingredients were superb, and the rice was some of the best we have had from an Indian restaurant. Our new go to for Indian food!

Enjoyed a nice dinner of Tikka Masala in this small unassuming restaurant on Kennington in the Lambeth, Vauxhall area, in early August. Several different staff served us and while they all seemed polite they were distant. I would return though, the meal was good as was the physical atmosphere, interestingly decorated.

Recently moved to Kennington, we had a few takeaways during lockdown after reading the amazing reviews. We had our first dine in sunday buffet today and was just amazing. Everything is cooked fresh and delivered to your table. All staff wore masks and the service was excellent. Highly recommended i cant wait to return. Thank you for a lovely afternoon

We had a takeaway from here tonight, the food was exceptional. All 4 of us ordered a combination of dishes and sides. The food was absolutely faultless. The mixed grill was superb. The korma superb, the lamb in the biriyani was so soft and full of flavour. The keema nans again were tasty and full of flavour. They gave us free poppadoms and a large bottle of beer.

Lovely place to eat. Looking in the size of the place is deceptive - it's narrow but deep. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and didn't rush you at all. The chicken Noorjahani was really good! The flavours and gentle heat developed - a great dish. Prices are reasonable and comparable. Very close to Vauxhall tube and bus stations.

Have eaten here on 3 occasions and would have given 5 stars if not for a mix-up with my curry on 1 occasion. Very welcoming staff (generally) and tasty food, the Mittas dish being a personal favourite. Nice atmosphere and good menu selection. Prices a little steeper than you’d expect from your average Indian restaurant but worth it in my opinion. Would have been 5* if not for the mistake made with my food where the waiter clearly tried to fob me off with something I didn’t order in the hope I wouldn’t know! Cheeky!

We went with a larger group and ordered several appetizers to share. They were very accommodating by putting the gluten free options on a separate plate. I ordered the lamb vindaloo which was really good. It had great spice, but I will say it had some sweetness too-perhaps too much cinnamon or clove? Overall the experience was great and I would definitely go back and recommended this to friends.

It was quite busy when we went, so had to wait the best part of an hour for our food. The staff were a bit inattentive (the waiter was only asking the men in our party if they wanted more drinks, and was a bit brusque) but perhaps he was new. The food on the other hand was fantastic, really tasty, and more varied than your average curry house - the pumpkin side dish was amazing! We will be going again next time we're up for the cricket!

Went here after a hard day's work, had a great time and the food was even better than the last time I went. However one of the waiters seemed a bit agitated and was a little bit too curt with many of his customers that day. I've eaten here a few times over the years & it's always been decent - good variety on the menu, most things I've had have been really tasty. Service is good in that they let you get on with the meal but are never far away. Definitely worth a visit if your looking for a decent curry around Vauxhall / Oval area.

Fabulous contemporary Indian food. This isn't your typical chicken vindaloo, rice, naan & beer (unless you want it to be!). There are many, more interesting flavoursome dishes on the menu like Noorjahani. Very friendly service. I've been frequenting this restaurant since it first opened and still going back. The garlic naan bread is the best I've ever tasted anywhere in London! The complimentary sauces with the poppadoms are also the best I've ever tasted...anywhere! Cosy little restaurant...be sure to book a table if you intend going on a Friday at peak time cisco it will be busy! One of the best restaurants in Vauxhall! This knocks the socks off Kennington Tandoori!

Best Indian food we've ever had!! Booked last minute, got a table no problem. Restaurant was busy with a great relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very attentive. Ordered the New Zealand Sauvegnion Blanc 'Sanctuary'. Great bottle of white! Coriander offers a great range of traditional dishes. So we experimented and weren't disappointed. Food wasn't greasy or oily, flavours were great. Even as basic as the poppadom sauce and sagaloo. This place is a must visit. Food portions are very generous, we had to take the rest home!

The food is quite good but also quite expensive. Their customer service is also not that good, I've used Coriander for deliveries via Deliveroo but have had lots of issues with missing items from the orders, most notably when they delivered me 4 curries with none of the rice dishes. When I called the restaurant, which was just prior to closing time, the guy I spoke to pretended he couldn't hear me AFTER I had explained everything, then hung up and didn't answer the phone again. Although Deliveroo subsequently credited the missing rice dishes, that wasn't really the point as we all had to eat our curries with no rice!! If you are going to sample their wares, go to the restaurant, DON'T get a takeaway delivery!!

Very tasty Indian food but not spicy, remember to mention to prepare it spicy. You get non-vegetarian, vegetarian and drinks of all kind. Prices look but steep but you will forget after tasting food. Staffs are not too welcoming or atleast smiling, but they respect customers very well.

Living by the Oval, I'm lucky to have two first-rate Indian Restaurants nearby: the Kennington Tandoori and the Coriander. I suggest you try one of the Coriander's king prawn dishes, all three are excellent. In all dishes you can tell that this is an Indian Restaurant that is really making the effort to offer distinctive cuisine... not at all a standard high street curry house. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

I had a great experience. I went there with a friend. We were persuaded to get inside by two guys who, from inside, told us the food was wonderful with the thumb up. The area around does not look very nice. But inside the staff was nice as well as the food: the naan bread was great and the biriyani too. We did not wait a lot to get the food. When it came (only 10-15 mins late) they had chucked in a load of poppadoms and sauces for free which was a nice gesture. I very much enjoyed the sag daal, pilau rice and veggie starter. (Translated) I was excited! Especially the Chicken Naga (spicy) made me happy! I really burns the whole mouth again ...... I lived and worked in South India for a year ..... whenever I come to London I go eat Indian, because in Europe there are no better Indians than in London! The Coriander clearly belongs to the authentic and better category. A Garlic Naan, Sweet Lassi and of course real "pickles" .- Papadam and Samosa as a starter. When I'm at the UNO (IMO just around the corner) I like to visit "The Coriander" as a half-Indian. There are also less sharp alternatives here! Have fun! PS: I think the Coriander is much better than the Mumbai Delight around the corner! (Original) Ich war begeistert! Insbesondere das Chicken Naga (scharf) hat mich glücklich gemacht! Mir brennt tatsächlich wieder der ganze Mundraum......ich habe ein Jahr in Südindien gelebt und gearbeitet.....immer wenn ich nach London komme gehe ich Indisch essen, weil in Europa gibt es keine besseren Inder als in London! Das Coriander gehört klar zu der authentischen und besseren Kategorie. Ein Garlic Naan, Sweet Lassi und natürlich echte "Pickels".- Papadam und Samosa als Vorspeise. Wenn ich bei der UNO bin (IMO gleich um die Ecke) besuche ich als Halb-Inder gerne "The Coriander". Gibt hier auch weniger scharfe Alternativen! Viel Spass! PS: Ich finde das Coriander deutlich besser wie das Mumbai Delight um die Ecke!
