One of the best halal gourmet burger spots in the area! The quality of the food is fantastic and very tasty. Atmosphere is so warming. Customer service is very friendly and accommodating. The only downside is the amount of time it took for my order to arrive at the table, almost 45 mins but it was well worth the wait. The burgers are just so good, super filling and hits the spot. The chicken steak was also very nice, maybe tone it down with the bbq taste in the gravy as its already coating the chicken steak. Not sure about the egg as it isn't needed but all in all, this place is great. I'd highly recommend!

My husband had chicken steak which had an amazing combo of mashed potato and fried egg. Amazing service and very quick to bring the food. The burgers were nice but pricey for what it is, I've had similar burger's for few quid less with chips. I had the firecracker burger, was really nice and spicy not too hot. The onion rings were nice, they weren't served hot and oily which was good so you can eat them straight away, some were slight burnt but not all. The homemade chips was nice. I would definitely recommend trying this place, may be right up your alley. Also it's cash only!

They have really improved their food, loved their big cheesy this time round and we also tried the bacon bits chips which tasted a like pizza. Very random combinations but they tasted nice I've been there 3 times before and they have really improved on their food. The red mist, which was a strawberry mojito tasted really nice as it had crushed strawberries in it. The only downside was that we asked for water 3 times before it arrived even though it was the first thing we asked for.

Little burger place with limited seating. Was very cold inside. Ordered the TGH Special, Muddy Chips & Spicy Nachos. As 6 of us went in, we were expecting food to be slightly late but not as late as it came out. Burger was bland. Muddy chips were good, and got the kick from the Jalapenos. 1 waiter at front of house. As more people came in, the prep time took longer and our food was delayed.

My First Time as a proper fully halal resturant in London. We Went on Saturday afternoon at 2pm and found that it wasn't too busy. Although there was only one person taken orders and serving which meant we did have to wait a good 15mins to have our orders taken. Probably best in weekends to have two people taken orders and serving? All the food was delicious and I would come here again, the burgers tastes nice and Fresh and not something that is frozen and not processed. The chicken samosas were nice and crispy and lovely flavour the sweet potatoe fries were amazing. I also liked that they didn't play music, some nasheeds but nothing OTT and you can actually have a conversation and hear your own thoughts. The only 2 negatives was the minimal selection of sauces. And a bigger negative why I knocked off 1 star was that the toilets were filthy. For Muslims hygiene is the up most imprtance and it looked as though the toliets are not cleaned daily. As a resturant they should be maintained throughout the day. Perhaps bring in an external cleaner to do this if the boys there don't know how to or don't want to get their hands dirty?

A small burger hut tucked away behind the busy Whitechapel Road. Convenient as it’s not far from the station. The quality of buns (famous Rinkoff Bakery) and gourmet meat and patty used. Very high quality and one of the few great burger bars/huts/grills in East London. I was disappointed with the pulled meat chips usually get the classic ‘muddy fries’ which is 10/10. I thought there wasn’t a generous enough serving of pulled meat on the chips, felt it was sprinkled and the portion isn’t the largest but maybe it’s perfectly sized? I don’t want to take anything away from the burger which was brilliant and well presented!

Been on the Cambridge diet for the past six weeks and today just went for my craving. I have been meaning to try the gourmet hut for a while and I was not disappointed. I had the classic burger, very filling and tasty. The muddy fries was a new one mince Meat with jalapeno and homemade chips, crazy combination wasn't sure how it was going to be but it ended being my favourite. The churros was a very nice ending. Back to the diet but will definitely order again on my next cheat day was worth it. Keep up the good work TGH.

My friend has been mentioning this place for a while and we visited recently, first impressions were ‘just another overpriced burger joint/fad’ However was pleasantly surprised, the burger was excellent and tasty and well portioned, id give 5 stars except as mentioned by others no fries included with the burger and also the place was very cold, had to keep my coat on! Their homemade chips are recommended too... the spicy one hits the spot. A few tweaks and they have a excellent offering.. hope they take the comments on board.

This ain't no local perfect fried chicken so don't go in thinking chips and drinks comes with the meal. Just remember everywhere you go it's the same you have to pay extra for chips and drinks, now the burgers tried near enough all of them and many other places but these guys are my favourite meat texture is perfect and taste is spot on if you haven't tried it yet you are missing out local lads top food and cosy joint. Went first time with my children. Food was lovely but the prices were outrageously high for the portions we got. The chips and drinks have to be ordered as a side, the burger I had on it's own cost 7.95! Bit too steep for a slippery over sauced (burger sauce or whatever sauce it was) burger, my childrens kids meals came with a 5 year olds palm size amount of chips!!! My 5 year said "mum! There's soo little chips, I'm too hungry". One less star due to the portion and price clash, Food tastes very good. Atmosphere quite dead and dark!! Even with young waiters and counter staff there seemed to be a lack of attentiveness towards the customers, the youngest boy there seemed more glued in then the rest. My eldest (10) also pointed out the tables, chairs, cutlery etc all had dust and has stains on them was sticky with grease, so I think they need to go back to the drawing room and redraft their restaurant decor and cleanliness, hygiene (idea; maybe deep clean it once a month). Also signage is a big let down nothing to say cash only. I had to ask when placing the order, wasn't informed of the cash only situation. But the food tasted good! Liked by the children. Their meat burgers they enjoyed, so did I with my chicken burger, so sister chef your food was lovely keep at it, it's the rest that's a disappointment. My 3 star rating is only for the sister who cooked our meals. Well deserved 3 star just everything else was not upto par.

It's a pretty quirky place in terms of decor and music. Could definitely do with a little TLC as is a bit rough around the edges (the corner I sat in smelt like it had been smoked in a lot 🙊) The food is as advertised, definitely not the best burgers I've eaten eaten, but the buns coming from a local bakery (Rinkoffs) is a nice touch. I had the Mary's not so Little Lamb burger and it was a bit too fatty for me and had two layers of (not so tasty) mayo - a bit more freshness might have helped cut through it a bit more, but it was pretty edible. Not so cheap, cost more than 30quid for two of us with two burgers, two drinks and a side - which didn't feel like the right price proposition based on quality for me. Service was friendly and attentive so no faults there :)

I come here usially for breakfast. They have a decent breakfast and the portion is large which is great. It is abit price but worth the money for sure. Decent seating area and can be a little cramped if its busy and you have a pram. Staff have always been friendly, polite and helpful. Its in a quiet location and parking can sometimes be difficult depending on the time you visit

Very under rated restaurant hidden in the corner of Whitechapel. Visited this unique place yesterday night with my wife and it was well worth it, ordered the recommended ‘Smokin joe’ and a side of curly fries which was amazing the best burger i have tasted in a long time. The only issue i had was all the burgers were very pricey on the menu and it was cash only so we had to travel to the end of the road for the cash machine!! Over all was very pleased with the food, excellent service provided by the young man, food came out on time and without a delay. Left the joint very satisfied and will be returning soon with more of friends.

Loved this little place especially the burgers although I'm not a big fan of their sides but sides aren't that important to me it's the burgers. Every time I go there it's very quiet and not busy which is strange but a bonus for myself I guess. Only issue is parking which is hard to find as you mainly need a permit to park on the roads there and it's a very congested area so finding an empty spot is hard but for a little struggle the food is definitely worth it.

This is a real hidden gem in east London. Their burgers are amazing and they do really generous portions of sides, plus excellent shakes and soft drinks. A nice little, homely, burger joint, that is just off the busy sections of Commercial Road. Decor is dark and classy, with a visually stunning, work of art outside the restaurant. With regards to customer service, staff present themselves in an orderly manner, and are rapid in their delivery of service. I myself, ordered a Big Cheesy with curly fries. Presentation-wise, the meal was mediocre, and arrangement of food was nothing amazing. But i must say, it makes up for, in the tasting department. The meat was tender, and cooked astutely, and the impeccable use of caramalised onions, provided a sweet and kicking taste. All in all, a decent and enjoyable experience.

I have been here time and time again when I get a chance, I have the TGH Special which is huge and just a beauty. The one I have been having lately is the Mary's not so little lamb burger with the caramelised onions and an added patty at times if I am really hungry. The lamb burger is just magical, god knows what seasoning they put in it but not every burger joint has the ability to bring the flavour out of the meat like this place. Plus the red mist drink is amazing, can't go there without getting that.

Great food, and great staff who go the extra mile. Here's why: I ordered a burger via Uber delivery, and the driver brought the wrong burger, unfortunately soaking wet as the drink had leaked all over it. Called the restaurant but suspected, as often the case with apps like Uber and Deliveroo, that they would just blame the driver and leave it there. But they were very understanding - not only did they order me a new burger but one of their guys delivered it himself, despite being incredibly busy that night. Was really pleasantly surprised they went out of their way to put things right after the driver messed up the order, which was Uber's fault and not theirs, after all. And to cap it all off, the burger was absolutely delicious. Really hit the spot. Nice, crispy bacon and a juicy patty. Great fries too. Will definitely be going back for another burger, and recommending to my pals.

Very underrated venue, but awesome burgers. We went in a group of 6 and although there were other groups of people, the service was still very good. The only downfall was that they do not take card ( not sure if the machine not working, or they just dont take card) but theres a cash machine round the corner, so all was well!

A fountain of flavours, lingering off the tongue and dripping off the food, the kick of spice and wilderness in the mince meat, a cheesy chaotic mess piled on top... a burst of juice hitting your tastebuds from the jalapeño. Brown overcooked chips, deep yellow softening potato mess...And cool fizz of blackened drinks (coke), that could have been more icier, with a slice of lemon and a hint of mint. All in all, there could have been a slight sweety improvement such as the the the tortilla crisps, having more Mince meat, cheese and cooled veg in the middle as a layer because it is only weighed on top. Chef Juhel please take into account my review, and polish up the food portions, quality and quantity. Good service 👌😁.

The Bacon Cheddar fries is to die for! Our usual go-to place to eat. The size of the business is small which means that you will definitely get a good customer service and wpuld highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Royal London Hospital as its a few yards away.
