My favourite local! I used to go all the time before Covid and so happy it has reopened. Food is always great here - I usually go for the fish dishes or the steak because of the quality. Since it has reopened they added more outside seating too. Service has been a little rushed since reopening but the staff are so nice and friendly and you can see how hard they're working. It is nice to see the owner (I think he is the owner, maybe manager) working too, pulling pints and taking orders. Gives the place a family feel. Welcome back Grove!

A hidden gem in London with a fantastic atmosphere. Very spacious and equally great for drinks as well as top class food from the restaurant, with excellent portion sizes served. Staff are helpful and friendly and I have always enjoyed coming here whether for coffee, lunch, drinks or dinner! Highly recommended and well worth the 2 minute walk from Hammersmith Underground over the more mainstream places right outside the station.

This is a lovely pub with a comfortable off-street outside area, just a gentle stroll from Hammersmith's busy centre. For fans of pot pies, I thoroughly recommend the Chicken Pie. It was hearty, rich and delicious, as was the accompanying mash (so good) and peas! One of the very best I've had at a pub! An agreeable selection of European beers to boot.

Couple of nice pints of doom bar, and incredible bar food. Thai fishcakes, squid, chorizo and the spring rolls. Many returns since first coming here and the food is still top notch, Doom bar is still lovely and fresh. Dipping menu n marguez sausages made for a perfect 2 person nibblage.

Absolutely wonderfully tasty dishes,served with smile by our friendly server who has a memory of an elephant...she writes nothing down and there were ten of us and didn't get an order wrong and remembered who ordered what! The chef kept the Kitchen open an hour later especially for us so closed at 4pm losing an hour of his break which we truly appreciated as it was a special family event. Go, relax and enjoy this fabulous gem of a place 😊

They currently offer 50% off on food from 6pm on Thurs to Sun. We ordered chilli garlic prawns as starter, and pork belly and sea bass as main. They were all good. There is some outdoor seating if you're conscious about the virus.

This is quiet pub/restaurant that I've visited a number of times, but isn't always consistent in the quality of it's food. Some meals, usually lunch, have been excellent. The one I had on Monday was tired, although the sea bass itself was nice. In summer you can sit outside, on the day I visited there were no more than 6 customers. So it was pretty quiet, even soulless. The staff are extremely polite and helpful, as they always have been. The prices and portions are ok, but the quality piece, as I mentioned, is a little inconsistent. Perhaps that's down to the chef of the day. I'd recommend at least a visit.

Went here for dinner and comedy night. Pizza is good, but overpriced. Check you bill carefully! They tried to charge me 12.95 for the Margharita that was listed at £9.75 on the menu. They also charge a hefty 12.5% service charge. It's not terrible, but there are better options in the area.

Nice ambience outside, under an awning in Hammersmith Grove itself. Customer base eclectic and friendly and personable staff. Food looked interesting but I had a major downer on my beer. Arrived back after 1 year in Thailand looking forward to my 1st nice pint of real ale. Good they had a couple of Sharps Cornish ales on tap. Bad I selected The Doom Bar, normally an excellent explosive malty taste with nice fruit undertones. It was end of barrel junk. Clear enough but thin and no taste. Possibly my palette was jaded from a 12 hour flight so I didn't ask for a replacement, but a later can of beer from the next door off licence (which is quirky and likeable if you are into health foods/organic btw) convinced me it had been a bad pint. Right. The place claims it has awards for the food. I was rather disappointed. Pasta was not al dente but rather overcooked and blant. I do nor send food back often but this was the case at this restaurant. I am giving 4 stars because the lady did not fuss about taking it back and not charging for it.

This was my first visit to The Grove and I was very pleasantly surprised by their delicious food. I began with fresh homemade gaspacho which was delicious. To follow I enjoyed perfectly cooked pan fried sea bass with box choy and polenta. Very tasty. My husband enjoyed a tasty haloumi, sprouted quinoa and avocado salad to start followed by delicious roast rump of Welsh lamb with couscous and steamed broccoli. We were there early at 5:30 so it was quiet but just beginning to liven up as we left at 7pm on a Thursday.

Went for a Sunday roast just before Xmas, it was good. So we went there for NYE, oh mine, the food was awful, a plate of deep fried Chinese take away (cost £35), and some bad comedy (only one comedian is good). And they even charge £5 for the party game. We have to leave at 11pm, because we didnt enjoy ourselves at all. To sum up, normal day at the Grove is good, but dont bother booking for Xmas or NYE.

I would say one of the best pubs in ealing is really nice to have I pint there with friends, often in the week they do pub quiz, outside garden is great you can enjoy beer and sunshine during the day, if you like wiessbeer Paulaner there is perfect I just love it, they really have nice kitchen, very tasty food, not the best on snacks or starters, the only reason why four starts is only the prices.
