We went to the Pantry for their Friday fine dining evening. Wow! I can't praise it enough! My partner and I shared the bread, oils and olives, then had three courses each - far more than we'd usually eat but it was all so good we wanted to try everything. The ingredients they use are top notch, the menu is interesting and the cooking is incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly and each element was just so tasty and complemented the next. As a veggie I'd especially recommend it. The vegetarian dishes had just as much love and attention as the meat. My partner can vouch for the fish and meat courses too though! The service was also fantastic, really friendly and attentive. If you get the chance to go, do!

Great coffee, tasty pastries, AMAZING full English breakfasts and (just as tasty) roast dinners! We’ve been visiting the Pantry for a few months now, since moving to the area and love it. Jamie and Sandra are so friendly and even hosted a private party for us - which went down really well with our friends. If you’re looking for good quality food and great service, then look no further!

Honestly, this is the second Full English I’ve had at the Pantry, and it really is phenomenal! There is a nuanced and delicate art to the balance of a Full English Brekkie and Jamie (the genius in the kitchen) hits it on the head every frickin’ time! Front Room near Finsbury Park is the only other one I’ve had in London that comes close. Well played, Plumstead Panty, well played!

The staff were so friendly that it felt like they were part of the group and with having the place exclusively it really was a special evening. And... the food was out of this world good. Recently moved to the area....I stumbled across this amazing little bistro style cafe while taking my grandson for a morning stroll. He's just 2,so the chef made him omelette, not on the menu. Omelette was massive, enough for Granma too. This will be my go-to coffee stop from now on. I believe they do fine dining on Fridays too. The service was awesome. Thank you for a great morning.

This place is absolutely 💯 since change of ownership. It should be a must for everyone... Sandra is an amazing hostess, her bakes are delicious! Coffee (especially the one with strawberry hues) is as good as it gets. Jaimie the chef, cooks and serves the most heavenly and scrumptious food, absolutely delicious! How lucky are we to have such a great little gem on our doorstep, we enjoy the great food, whether we are grabbing lunch on the go, making good use of the fine cuisine on bistro nights or indulging in a first class Sunday roast (without the washing up) and we get a great welcome as well as full stomachs. Since the new owners Jamie and Sandra took over in the middle of a pandemic the Plumstead Pantry turned over a new leaf. The new menu Jamie bought to this business and the excellent prices were exactly what plumstead needed. Sandra is nothing short of delightful and always so happy to speak with my wife and I when we come in for take away hot chocolate and brownies! Always fun, smiley and most importantly kind and generous and always interested in our work or how we are doing for the day. These two make plumstead a fun, interesting and a more than welcome addition to a once boring landscape of just coffee and biscuits! Amazing menus, wonderful specials always on the board. Huge range of patisserie and hot drinks always served with a smile. I cannot fault them ever, and plumstead needs these guys just as much as they need us. Lovely location overlooking the green. Had salmon salad that was freshly cooked with a homemade sauce. Saw someone order the eggs and avo so planning a return trip to try. Good service, good location. Would highly recommend.
