R. R. T.One of the very few Salt Beef places that are surviving in London. Love this place and always try to pop in whenever passing by. Hot Salt beef in Rye bread tastes the best to me. Very polite staffs and taking tame and care to prepare the sandwiches/rolls infront of you. Removes the fat in almost surgical way! But i like a bit of fat on my beef so all I have to do is just ask!
Latkes are really nice and fresh. Great shape to give the most crunch. Always fried to order.
Many other traditional middle Eastern/Israeli Kosher food.
Great food great service. Very reasonable price and Everyone is welcomed. I am not Jewish and I have been enjoying going there for many years.

P. C.Very nice, but tiny sandwich shop. You can do a lot worse than this little gem of a Salt Beef bar. It's been serving simple no nonsense Salt Beef Sandwiches for as long as I can remember having £2.00 in my pocket that I could spend on a sandwich. Of course it's a bit more these days but some things don't change. Rye bread, mustard and pickled cucumber - perfect. It used to be owned by an old Greek Cypriot man but I think he sold out to a Polish man. It's still good although I prefer B&K in Edgware. Give it a go. A solid 3 stars from me.

P. K.I wanted some good traditional Jewish food and this place did not disappoint. A small family run place with gorgeous salt beef and wholesome latkes.
R. J.I stop here regularly and go out my way to buy quality. The salt beef, bread, latkas, gherkins and tongue has always been consistent and if I want more mustard then I ask. I've never felt that the staff was ever rude in the years I've been going, but I don't expect or go looking for banter. If you want that go to BandK, another 5/5 establishment. It's cheap and only one of a very few offering quality food at very reasonable and affordable prices. If you want to pay a lot more, want the dining experience, the decor and a smiling face go to Harry Morgan's or Reubens.
C. E.Excellent food and friendly service. The breakfast sandwich that comes with bacon, ginger pig sausages and two runny eggs is just awesome. Wouldn't change a thing about it. Important to support high road businesses like this one so that they don't become a casualty.

A. I.Mixed feeling - was really looking forward to having breakfast at this place .. very small seating area. Maybe it was Sunday hence very slow service ??. Our salt beef sandwich on rye bread was really good worthy of 4** but the cold liver sandwich was disappointment .. and omelet was actually scrambled egg ., The owner was paying attention to take away orders & his regulars Only .. which made us feel very awkward .. he didn’t not even look to see if we have been served .. we have been waiting for our tea / coffee which was served 15min after the sandwiches etc .. bit of let down .. but overall kosher salt beef sandwich was good .

K. G.The best of the now-trendy salt beef eateries, and likely the most authentic, as it borders the Kosher Golders Green, and thus caters to Jewish Kosher clientele. Simple menu of chopped liver with egg as a starter (plus other yummy starters), which segues to either sandwiches or full dishes of tongue, salt beef, etc. Sides include latkes (potato pancakes), real Kosher dill cucumber pickles, and so on. Desserts include sweet kugel and apple pastry pie. Highly recommended!

s. z.A friendly Jewish deli that serves an excellent salt beef sandwich. The salt beef is done to perfection. It looks like a simple dish but it's difficult to get it right and here they know exactly what they are doing. Salt beef on rye bread with mustard and a pickle on side, it's delicious. The restaurant also serves a variety of soups and other treditional Jewish dishes like latkes. There are several tables inside and the service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended.
