Ordered the Venison smash burger and soft shell crab burger through Deliveroo. Both with chips. The food was good but I think Beef would have been better over Venison. Chips were good. While ordering it’s confusing which sauce I should use as they name the sauces and you’re not sure what’s in the sauces. I had to go on their website to check what’s what which is bad for a fluid ordering experience. Stick to normal names and have good recommendations for each burger rather than the same for every burger

I travelled 2 hours snd 4 trains for this!!! I swear you won't be disappointed. I wanted to amazing whole crab burger and of course had to double it up. The burger was of course messy but that good kind. The best thing was how crispy the crab remained with the sauce. The staff was great very attentive, warm and welcoming. The place is clean, tidy and just right for a bite to eat. I honestly would recommend this every time. I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu, if its anything like this burger they are on a clear winner.

The 1st time I place an order at The Sauce it wasn't good. For some reason the chicken inside the burger was extremely small and the chips were pretty cold. However once I spoke to them the next day they were quite helpful in sorting me a replacement and to be honest it was one of the best chicken burgers I've had. My original review was 1 star but now I've had to change it to 4. If the burger is that good the next time I go then I'll have to change it to 5.

Wow!! The Chicken Thigh burger was absolutely delicious with the Comeback Sauce!! You can tell when food is made with love and this place knocked it out of the park!! Great fries, milkshake and dessert too! Great vegan options also. The service is on point - friendly, smiling faces all around. Clean restaurant too! We’ll be back for more very soon!

I can honestly say hands down this is some of the best food I've ever had. They have the juiciest, sauciest chicken thigh burger which has been consistently amazing each time. Their chips are crisped to perfection. The customer service is on point and the staff are friendly and just all round good people. The desserts are fresh and good portion sizes too and for the price - you just can't go wrong.

I'll first start by saying that I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE. been here so many times and couldn't recommend it more. my experience today was not a usual one though. The state of my venison burger was not up to the standard that it usually is, the burger looked like it had been burnt on the grill and scraped off. Also there were several large pieces of pickle in my burger (much larger than how they appear in the picture). I just thought it was soo odd that they weren't thinly sliced and that the ends were included in my burger - which has never been the case before today. Maybe there have been some changes in staffing in the kitchen. I really don't want anyone to get in trouble but it's so important that the same amazing standard is maintained all the time so that customers keep coming back. I still adore this place and hope my experience isn't the same next time.

The Venison burger was really nice with the bang bang sauce. I prefer when there isn't as much customisation choices when ordering, as u choose basically everything going in between the buns, but many people may prefer that and you could land yourself a winner if you know what you're doing.

This place is out of this world, didn't realise the area was missing something like this unit I tried the food. The wings are amazing, they have a unique flavouring I haven't tried anywhere else and on top of that, you have a plethora of dips to try them with, literally I tried them all. Couldn't fault one, you can tell that someone behind the scenes has a passion for what they do and they are doing it well. The food is made fresh and to be perfectly honest I don't mind waiting a couple of minutes to get something that is a cut above the rest. The chicken burger was one of the crispest I've ever had in my life, can't wait to try everything else on the menu. This joint has for sure jumped to the top of my places to grab something to eat in the Islington/Hackney/Haringey area. AND that's coming from a Turk who loves his kebabs.

The USP is that every item can be made bespoke with a choice of toppings and sauces, so you could actually eat the same item off the menu hundreds of times with different combinations. These guys are absolute customer service legends! Have you ever eaten a burger with legs? Well I have now. And it was amazing. Get the soft shell crab burger (I had mine with the Bang Bang sauce) - it’s literally an entire giant soft shell crab, deep fried and in a brioche bun. Delicious.

Amazing food, super nice people. You can eat healthy (vegetarian and vegan) or as dirty (and rich) as you want. The menu is spoiled for choice - a dizzying amount of sauces, savory, spicy or sweet. Burgers, bites (fried pieces of chicken, falafel, halloumi, etc), fries... And the desserts are amazing too. We had the chicken bites (with coriander and hot sauce) and sweet potato fries. And the halloumi bites with garlic parmesean. Then the poffertjes with white chocolate and biscoff. All very good!

Well what can I say... saw great reviews and mouth watering pics on twitter so I thought I’d give it a go. I got the soft shell crab burger with chilli honey, tomato, caramelised onions and lettuce. On the side i got some sweet potato fries and also ordered some boneless chicken bites... it was all just OK. Sadly nothing special. Like most burger joints they give you so much sweet potato fries and they just go to waste as they are soggy and never nice... burger and bites were ok. You get about 6 boneless chicken bites and the burger is quite small. I would like to go here again and give it another go and maybe try a different burger but only if I was passing by or in the area but then again for the price I’m not sure.

Got the crab burger and a venison burger for me and my girl, the service was great, with a lady waitress helping us a lot and being attentive. The food took maybe 10-15 minutes to come however the restaurant was slightly packed so the wait was expected for how busy it was. The food itself was great, burgers were very juicy and the chips felt a lot like five guys chips, so crispy while being soft inside. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food.

As soon as I entered the staff were great and attentive, I wasn't sure what to get with such a great looking menu, but the staff were able to help choose and gave me insights into the different options and of course sauces. I went with what they suggested being the buttermilk fried thigh burger and it was amazing! And of course I couldn't leave without having some dessert which just topped it off. Will be visiting again very soon!

Ordered from here on Uber Eats. I was very impressed with the customisations possible and there's a huge amount of sauces and toppings to choose from. I got the chicken thigh burger meal. Sadly, they first of all forgot to put coleslaw in my burger which I'd paid extra for, so wasn't impressed. Secondly, the amount of meat in the burger was disappointing. At times I was just biting into batter and there was only a thin layer of chicken. The fries were good to be fair, and I wouldn't rule out giving it another try, but considering the glowing reviews on here I expected more.

It can get a little busy, and I would've loved to see lamb or beefburgers, but it's only busy because the food is excellent and it's a small place. The service is great with attentive staff, especially Rohat (?) and Anoushka (? ) and Tim (it was noisy so the names may be incorrect but ALL the staff were fantastic). Really incredible food, especially the crispy, tender and juicy fried chicken thigh burger with waffle bun, beef brisket and teriyaki sauce. Extremely addictive and I must get the double next time. Neat presentation of each item on the menu. Great service and a love for customers that shows throughout. They come around and ask how your meal is, especially the women who take an 'above and beyond' care towards everyone. New business, but they are doing the right things. What I love is that they tailor everything how you want it! They are flexible with such orders. Wish they had the cheese sauce in stock, which I was highly anticipating all over my chips. However, sadly they were out of it. A good cheese sauce is really difficult to find in the UK (the type you will find in Burgeri, Burger UK and Shake Shack). Also, think the wings can be improved. Even though they were fried, they didn't taste as great. The marinade/rub was lacking any real flavour. Would've been better if it was battered/thoroughly deep fried or in the american buffalo style drenched in the Franks sauce. The boneless bites were much better, tender and juicy. The sweet potato fries were very nice, though the truffle mayo sauce can be thicker in texture and not runny. Milkshakes were rich, though the dutch pancakes were'nt great. Felt they were not fluffy enough and quite hard and chewy, even with the Belgian milk chocolate sauce. Perhaps the pancake mixture must be improved (I always compare dutch pancakes to the superb ones you would find at Hyde Park - Winter Wonderland). Also a more generous amount of the chocolate sauce for each order would be fantastic. Some improvements can be made, and I will be back for the Venison burger next time around, with the juicy bone marrow pieces. Great job by The Sauce team. Keep up the good work. 7/10

I came to the sauce for a milkshake, straight after wingsfest where I had filled my belly. None the less, when I walked in the smell was inticing and made me order a crab burger. The staff were very polite and informative about their products and surprised me with a sauce which was ever so flavoursome and complimented the burger perfectly. I absolutely loveeee the food at this restaurant! It is also amazing to hear that all the sauces, including the house mayo, are made in-house! Great food, great staff! All in all, a great experience! I have tried most things now and these are my favourite combinations: Prawn and soft shell crab tastes amazing with the bang bang sauce. (also soft shell crab in a burger is GENIUS! I have never had it anywhere before and it is insane!!) The halloumi is unreal with the garlic parmesan sauce, which also goes well with the chicken wings. The chicken burger is so tender and delicious, especially with the comeback sauce and their beef brisket bacon. This sauce is also amazing with most of the options on the menu and has become one of my favourites. Oh and the loaded fries, wow!! Especially with the coleslaw wow! Also they really know how to make dutch pancakes and waffles!! The coconut toffee and lotus biscoff sauces are my favourites, and they are so reasonably priced for what you get - with a choice of sauce and unlimited toppings!

Ordered a couple of chicken burgers and a prawn burger from these guys on Deliveroo in lockdown as my son wanted Nandos but it is still closed. Service was very quick but most importantly the food was excellent (and very reasonably priced).
