Amazingly friendly staff! Very helpful and patient with all the kids, Food was nice and atmosphere lovley. Sat in the carriage which is a little awkward if more than 4 attempt it. Would come back again!

Went to the Tea Terrace on 14th February as it was my granddaughter birthday. Such a lovely atmosphere & the food was delightful. My favourite was the scones they were to die for. The man who served us was amazing nothing was too much, even when I was wasn't that happy with my coffer he made me another. I must say that it's ashame that he had no help as he was running around serving & helping everyone, I can't remember his name but he was excellent. Thank you for a lovely afternoon tea My granddaughter had a great afternoon Would definitely recommend, but please get some help foe the man that is running around trying to please & serve everyone. Although he did an excellent job

Our server was very friendly and hard working. He managed the front of house by his self in a very speedy manner and was still took the time out to take a photo for a friend and I. He was very friendly and professional. The food was very good and surprisingly filling. I can’t wait to go again and have recommended to friends and family.

I attended the tea terrace as a gift and was lucky enough to be sat in one of the carriages which was a lovely experience. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and I liked the themed tea pots on display. The venue was very quiet for a Monday lunchtime I prefer quiet venues so it suited me but there didn’t seem to be any atmosphere. Also the afternoon tea menu what was advertised was not supplied eg instead of having a selection of cakes we was given one slice of cake perhaps this is a supply issue. I had a gift voucher to redeem and nowhere did it say to hand over before ordering so when I told the server I had a gift voucher after I had ordered I was made to feel that I had created a problem

We had a brilliant afternoon tea here. You can choose your sandwich es and there's a few different options to choose from and it was delicious. My only minor criticism is that the cakes were a little poor compared to the rest. I would definitely visit again it's a nice atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Flower girls afternoon tea What a fabulous afternoon. We booked a afternoon Tea, so that some little flower girls felt part of the bridal hen party. We had a carriage and a table, such a special experience. The girls little and grown felt very special. The food was wonderful. The service was excellent, our wait staff were so attentive and kind. Brilliant experience.

The atmosphere is a little underwhelming because it's inside of a department store. The food was great, the service was very good. It was a little pricy but overall we had a fine experience.

Amazing decor and excellent customer service the whole time we were there. It is a great way to enjoy a special day as I took my daughter for her birthday treat and booked the princess carriage. It was lovely! We had the afternoon tea and everything was delicious and fresh. Definitely will be going again.

Took a really long time to seat us, but the place is really cute. Quite reasonably priced and a very cute place to get some nice instagram photos clicked. Was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon surprisingly. The service was OK but rather slow even though there weren’t many others seated. If you want to sit in the carriages, I think you need to book them before and probably pay extra.

Visited for an afternoon tea and was not disappointed. It was very tasty with quick and friendly service at a very reasonable price. There were a range of sandwich flavours to choose from to suit everyones taste unlike some others around the area that were fixed.

I visited with my mum taking advantage of the 'eat out to help out scheme' and we had a lovely time. Food was fresh and delicious- I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of sandwich fillings and scones to choose from- I had never had white chocolate and fruit scones before! We also had the option to have beetroot bread and also spinach bread. The waiting staff could not be faulted and made sure we had everything we needed. Lastly, the tea room itself is gorgeous and beautifully decorated! Really impressed with our visit and we will be back.

Place looks beautiful, however nothing spectacular regarding food or drinks. Paid around 10 pounds for a piece of cake and a tea pot, so a bit overpriced in my opinion but expected.

Took my mum and daughter out for afternoon tea and booked the Cinderella Carriage. It was absolutely beautiful and we all enjoyed the tasty food. All the little details made the experience more special for us and our waitress was so lovely and very helpful. Thank you again and we will be back booking the carriage again.

Strangely furnished with oversize chairs and a carriage in the centre which you can have your tea in. Great service though and good range of scones. Note as a tea terrace, no coffee to be had.

The afternoon Cinderella look is lovely and an amazing idea. The cost to sit in the carriages is not worth it. The food was lovely and a comfortable place to sit for a little while. The service was not worth it unfortunately as the lasies serving didn't really want to be there. There was only two waitresses and they probably were tired, thus cake across as they did not smile much and were slow. The food and look of the place was 👌

The food was good. Had the pot of tea and then waited 15 minutes for the afternoon tea to arrive which were sandwiches, scones and small cakes.. I would have prefered them with my pot of tea as I dislike warm tea. A tea cosy would have been ideal! The room had nowhere to hang your coats and it was a wet and rainy day with all our coats and our bags soaking wet. I believe they should have had somewhere to hang our coats. No air com and my daughters' cheeks were very red. It got very hot and uncomfortable. The waitresses were polite. It would have been lovely if the waitresses had uniforms to set the scene! We asked for a box or bag to take away our last few cakes and the waitress told us she only had silver foil and that is what she wrapped our cakes in! Not very classy!

Yesterday myself and my daughter visited for tea, scones and cake- our table was laid ready and waiting- the staff were polite and ao helpful- and put the aircon towards us to keep us cool- we had a really lovely experience and will be booking to come again during our summer holidays- my daughter absolutley loved her scones and hasn't stopped talking about them. Cute tearoom! No wait at all, but it was around noon on a Friday. Very grateful for all the gluten free options. They definitely give you a generous amount of food for the afternoon tea.

A bit fussy, we were just looking for a simple cuppa, it was comfortable and the staff friendly but as most places seem to do now, they put service charge on the bill. We asked them to remove it.

Took our nan for her 83rd birthday, originally we was going to take her for a selfiecinno, then we saw that you could book a carriage and have afternoon tea, so we thought that would be a lovelier thing to do, we booked that, arrived and the place was largely empty bar a very few pair of customers here and there. A bridal/hen part arrived whilst we was in the middle of our tea, put right beside us. After our hour we had to vacate the carriage and we continued our tea & cakes whilst ordering the selfiecino though SMS. half hour later a waitress comes over to take the empty plates (there was only about 3 staff on the floor the whole time we was there!) We asked about the selfiecino and she told us it would be another half hour wait, we wasn't pleased but what could we do? Another half hour passed and a waiter comes over to tell us the machine isn't working at the moment so we can't have it. We was annoyed by this because we had been waiting an hour by this point for nothing. We asked for a box to take our remaining cakes home with and they had no boxes they wrapped it up in tin foil which squashed and ruined the delicate cakes! (Surely you should have some cake boxes for the people who can't finish ALL those cakes to take home with them 🤷🏼‍♀️) before we left, the lovely manageress gave my nan a lovely little gift set of a shabby chic salt and pepper pot, as a gesture of good will, which was really nice & appreciated of her and was the saving grace of the day. I think if they had more staff on the floor then it would be a five star place!

Visited here for Breakfast. It won't be to everyone's tastes, but it was good fun. Coffee was great but I was disappointed by the breakfast - it was really dry due to the way it's all presented. Quite a wait for our order, and there was only one other couple in the store.

I was treated to lunch here. It's a tad expensive (my best friend paid) but clean and comfortable. The tables are not too close together, so you're not bothered by other people talking. This is one of the best places to eat in Victoria.

This is a very grammable but truly unknown cafe at the top of the House of Fraser on Victoria St, an underated store in my opinion. Take your sense of humour and fun with you! Staff really should be more cheerful to reflect their surroundings
