Reviews of The Tommyfield
A. L.
Love this place, we come here often. Staff are brilliant, a nice selection of food and drinks including vegan options. I always have a great time here. They also do comedy nights, have rooms to stay in and have a great rentable space for events (which I have used and can highly recommend). definitely recommend.
S.
Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Couldn't find one fault service was amazing from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. As for the food it was hot, full of flavour and cooked to perfection.
Definitely will be going back.
L.
A great little find. A cosy atmosphere and fantastic simple food done really well. Water put on your table immediately on sitting, without having to ask. 12.5% service charge automatically added to bill, not my personal preference.
C. C.
Nice place but food and drink is overpriced. I only went for the comedy night upstairs so wouldn't go back to this pub of there wasn't a gig on. Better pubs just over the road
D. Š.
Nice pub! We dropped in for drinks - they have local beer and a nice wine selection. Cosy atmosphere.
Q. T.
Classy surroundings. Lots of varied seating. Attentive staff. Decent beer choices and the full English breakfast was tasty, piping hot and well presented.
J. H.
Lovely small pub hotel with a great landlady and more than you would expect from a budget hotel. Fresh fruit and milk in the fridge with porridge and juice for breakfast. Hairdryer and a coffee machine Close to all sights in central London. I would highly recommend the Tommy field pub hotel
A. R.
Nice pub vibe and good food. Fairly priced. They also do comedy nights.
L.
The Tommyfeild is run by a dedicated and knowledgeable team where nothing is too much.
And if you have friends or family visiting London, there are a number of BEAUTIFUL hotel rooms above the pub at very reasonable prices.
I’m not sure if they still do the Bottomless Brunch on a weekend. But it’s great value. Give it a go.
B. V.
Nice place. Good service. Food is decent. Alot of space to hang around.
L. C.
Beautiful rooms! Wonderful staff! Easily one of the best places I've ever stayed in London. ❤
L. V.
Great little pub, fantastic staff and service. The menu has a gastro pub feel and the food is exceptional. No matter how full he is, my husband always has space for the Banoffee Pie - he says it’s the perfect balance of sweetness :)
P. T.
Great pub and they have a GREAT chicken & leek pie - totally recommend you try it.
w.
Visited on a weekday lunch time. Good selection of food and drink. Good surroundings. Food and drinks were nice. Only gripe was that the waiter brought the bill when we wanted more drinks. A second pint would have been welcome.
V. R.
Great pub, nice food and the comedy upstairs is fab
S. D.
I have come to this pub a lot over the past 6 years, always yummy food and nice staff. We went last night for the pub quiz which was really fun. Unfortunately we were shocked when the bill came. Post covid the main difference is the price of drinks - over 17 quid for a double gin and tonic, and over 12 quid for a double rum and coke! over 7 quid for a single and mixer! extortionate! Unfortunately at those prices it's too much to go back unless prices go back to normal. Or maybe just stick to water. If you'd had 2 double g&ts that could cost over 30 quid!
P. J.
My first time here. Had meal, drinks then upstairs for comedy gig. The staff were friendly, polite & welcoming. Would go back again. The crab & prawn burger was to die for 😊😜 x
J. S.
Really enjoyed my meal here, and the service was fantastic. Looking forward to returning soon!
R. S.
Very nice and fresh food!!!! A “must-taste” chicken pie!!!
C. K. A.
Great Sunday roast. Friendly staff. Could be understaffed.
L. G.
My host Norbut, was the best and only person out of all the servers, that welcomed me and my friend and greeted us with a smile . He deserves a pay rise. Management if you see this, take attention!
s. h.
We stayed last min. Staff was helpful with a late check-in. Room was lovely & clean . Would 100% stay again
H. B.
Stayed here for a night so chose to eat here too as they give 50% off for guests (and 50% off to all during January anyway!). Had a great stay and also a great meal. All the staff were exceptionally lovely, attentive and friendly and the landlady was mucking in and was engaging and attentive. Great vibe, good food and drink choices and the fish and chips were sublime. Brilliant all round. Hope to come back one day and go to one of their events such as the comedy nights.
N. M.
The pub and restaurant was so lovely! This includes a sweet and friendly server which really made it so cozy.
The place itself looks nice on the inside and outside, unfortunately like most places we got a table which wiggled.
They only gave us one menu but we were two people, and from looking around they had done that at other tables too. Which is a bit annoying.
Food none the less was tasty, and they also change menu depending on the season which I really good!
A. M.
One of those great bars with great staff doing good simple food well
M. P.
Great evening of comedy and food . Felt for the server, only one . The venue was so busy . Covid bans lifted , employee more staff
N. D.
I stayed in this hotel / pub for one night. The room is outrageously gorgeous and the pub has very home-y vibe. The food is excellent (I had the Hot Soup of the day) and needless to say that the staff is great. Riccardo was efficient, prompt and very friendly. Because of him and the whole pub's ambiance, I'll be sure to recommend this place to all my friends and definitely will come back whenever I'm in town. A+++++ guys. Keep up the good work.
O. B.
A great, spacious pub in Kennington that draws a fun crowd. Had two delicious meals there now; both a tasty Sunday roast as well as a fantastic Chicken & Leek pie — an ACTUAL pie too, with sides and a base, which is the most important thing in my book. It's a bit on the pricey side, but with staff you can have a laugh with. Will happily be going back for more.
R. S.
Great place good food great room and warm staff
D. L.
Nice pub and great great comedy shows on Thursdays!
m. o.
Amazing Sunday roast and very nice steak pie! The food was a lot and so good! Fast service.
Only issue is when you arrive inside the place, there is such a weird toilet smell going around the floor area..
Maybe a daily issue, but once this is fixed the place is just great!! We will be back!
C. H.
Perfect! You might wonder how staying above a pub would be but it was exactly what we needed! We worried that we might hear the pub noise in our room, but not at all! The service was amazing, staff were polite and friendly, especially Teresa. Our room was cleaned daily, fresh milk, fruit, juice, water and porridge each day. Small mini fridge was handy. It's definitely small but it worked. Safe in the room was great too. Only issue is noise from the street (beyond their control) and a light in the room that didn't go out (smoke detector maybe?) But ear plugs and an eye mask did the trick! Bed was so comfy! Perfectly located in the beautiful borough of Kennington, quick walk to the tube and easily walkable to many attractions! Make sure you go see Abraham at Bouquets and Beans for your morning cuppa and pastry! We thought that staying in a pub in a local area was one of the best ways to really be immersed in day to day life for a week. So happy we did! Would for sure go back and 100% recommend!!
T. T.
All of the staff here are so nice, our table was visited by 4 different people who were either delivering food, taking orders, or just clearing tables beside us and then checking to see if we were okay. The food was also really lovely, we had the pork roast, nut loaf, and calamari. I'd reccomend booking tho cause we almost didn't get a table.
S. P.
This was a short visit. I was too late for lunch and too early for supper, so I had a really refreshing lemonade/ lime with mint £2.75p. Glass was a bit small. With a non-alcoholic drink like this you can afford to be a bit more generous. But so you know, it was good.
Staff OK, and in general this is a nice clean place. Intimate.
The toilets were clean, but just not very nice, rustic no longer charms me.
Would love to see some really lovely bathroom facilities that my disabled friends can also use.
Three stars for service, lost 2 star's due to the bathroom facilities and the small glass.
r. m.
Good food good company great service..will be back again .
A.
Great staff. Great hotel. Great location
V. M.
First time at The Tommyfield and the service was exceptional. Despite being very busy, our group was able to get a table straight away. Our server Louis was very knowledgeable and quickly answered all of my queries about both the food and beverage menus. We will definitely be back for the delicious food and great service.
A. L.
Had dinner with my partner. The service was friendly and the food and drink were great.
Felt that they were taking all the necessary precautions so would happily come back soon.
R. S.
Great food and brilliant comedy night
J. M.
Good local pub - clean, friendly & welcoming. The food is decent & 2-4-1 if you have a taste card. They have a really good quiz every Tuesday. I've also hired out the upstairs for a birthday party - the team were professional and answered all my questions. Would recommend.
J. L.
Very grateful to the hostess for arranging and chef for cooking a delicious version of one of their meals with no salt as I'm on a low salt diet. Not everywhere goes above and beyond like this and on a busy evening it's much appreciated! Great atmosphere as well.
M. C.
Had a great lunch here with a couple of friends. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff were really friendly, worked efficiently and served each customer with a smile. I had a very delicious apple and berry crumble, definitely recommend trying it. Overall we all left completely satisfied and will be definitely coming back.
S. L.
Good range of ales, excellent pie and mash, helpful staff.
V. B.
Food was okay. Quite nice. I had the lamb which seemed to be jumbled - the sides did. It compliment each other at all (spiced lentils, aubergine and potatoes). Service was good, bar was busy but not much atmosphere. Especially on quiz night (felt odd as pub vs restaurant vibe).
c. p.
One of the best pubs! Good food, well priced, sports, friendly staff..btw..Thanks Louis!! 🤗
A. L. F.
Disappointing overall with some excellent parts. Service was not great (slow.) Cheesy peas and leeks were incredible, as were the Yorkshire's. Cauliflower cheese was disappointing and overpriced for the portion (but friendly waiter did listen to feedback.) Nice atmosphere and will come back.
O. B.
Lovely dog friendly gastropub.
Visited several times both for dinner service and Bottomless Brunch.
Well priced for the area, good food and friendly service.
R. 5.
Found it last minute as was going to a gig in Brixton. They were very accommodating as I arrived way before my room was ready, but allowed me to leave my luggage anyway. Very polite and friendly. Lovely room and great breakfast. Highly recommend!
P. E.
Good variety of lunch options available, including daily specials. This is Sausage and Creamy Mash with Gravy. The Sausages are nice and smooth inside with a sprinkling of herbs. They tasted great and there was no grizzle in sight. They have a good drinks menu also. I had the Fentimans Ginger Beer. (Other brands of Ginger beer were available also).
J. C.
We had the Baked Camembert with sweet potato fries and bread. It was the perfect sharing plate. We loved the atmosphere, wait staff and ambiance of the entire place. If it had been appropriate we would have asked for a copy of the playlist too.
M. T.
We all really enjoyed the experience the food but they took ages to bring the menu, they sat us in a really tiny table and didn't want to accommodate us in a better seating area. It isn't a very child friendly place, make sure you mention you have a child in your booking otherwise you will struggle. Service is extra slow and that really let us down.
B. M.
Delicious food. Pies best thing on menu. Friendly staff and relaxed, always willing to help. Upstairs room is brilliant for private events, and they support your needs brilliantly. Have used it more than once. As a local, I'm very pleased to have it there!! And nice beers too. Hooray for Tommyfield.
m. m.
Fantastic meal, great service, friendly, attentive, efficient and good value. Chicken and leek pie served with Nash and greens and a jug of brown gravy (yes, chicken is a white meat but who cares when result is so delicious). Will come again. They have a separate bar menu which looks good too. Offer full menu (modern British) with a big specials board including lots of pies and burgers available too.
S. F.
Boutique rooms above a gastro pub in London - what's not to love?! Conveniently located in Vauxhall the hotel can be accessed either from Kennington or Vauxhall tube stations, with a short walk from each to get here.
All of the bedrooms are individually styled and decorated to a really high standard. Loved the little touches in the room like free bottles of orange juice, fresh fruit, milk and the Nespresso machine for making coffee!
The only downside to this hotel is that it is not disability friendly - there are lots of stairs to climb to get to the bedrooms with no alternative means of access.
Being a hotel guest means that you also get 50% off breakfast served in the pub - which in itself is great value - and it will keep you going all day. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced and there is a fantastic choice on the menu.
Would definitely stay here again!
P. T.
Friendly service as always.
I went for Sunday brunch with a friend. Reasonable selection of brunch dishes to choose from and the usual coffee/drinks.
Only downside were the eggs which lacked any real flavour.
S. D.
Loved this place! Only stayed one night but it was a fantastic experience. Prices are very reasonable for this area. Trains are easy distance or if you prefer walking like myself it is a great location to set off from. The food was brilliant and the selection of beers was perfect!
R. C.
Wow! Can’t say enough good things about the Tommyfield. From the staff to the room even the location is perfect. We loved the neighbourhood and calling this home for a week. I’d recommend this to everyone I know! Oh... and the bar, is also great and good for celebrity watching too so we hear ;)
F. B. (.
Just an amazing place, everything perfect, from the staff to the food. We live close-by and we went for the Sunday lunch, the roast beef is delicious. Then some great desserts and drinks while we were working with our laptops, free WiFi available. Very professional and superfriendly staff. Highly recommended 😉
J. G.
One of the best Sunday Roasts I’ve had in London. Absolutely get the chicken. Nice atmosphere, servers are nice, but a little slow so might have to wait, but worth it. Just go, have a pint and chill! Enjoy!
B. H.
Very comfortable, and quiet - which I was not expecting right above a sports bar. Check-in was easy. Huge bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Bus stop across the road straight to Westminster bridge in a few minutes, so conveniently located.
Only downside are the stairs up three floors.
N. C.
I came here tonight with my friends (4 of us) and it was honestly one of the best pubs I’ve ever been too. The food was incredible and the service was even better. Intially there were no tables as it was a comedy night so they were all reserved, but the staff (a blonde lady who’s name we didn’t catch) was extremely accommodating and managed to get us a table. Hector served our food and he was lovely and polite and made sure we had everything we wanted. We loved every second of the evening and couldn’t fault it. We will definitely be back again. Thankyou again for tonight. We’ve loved it.
V. V.
Good location with easy access to the center.
Room was very nice and the staff was helpful.
Highly recommended.
A. L.
Good food here, I had duck leg very moister and my boyfriend have fish cake was very nice, in the end we got the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, brownie was nice soft and warm, melt in my mouth with ice cream. The staff here also friendly, we have great time here.
K. S.
Amazing stuff !! Beautiful rooms, super clean great price and location ♥️ 10 stars for me 👌🏽
R. B.
Great place, showing football as well. Will be back for sure. Just get some nice tequila there please!
C. D.
Lovely local pub which allows dogs! Drink prices are reasonable albeit a little on the expensive side for food. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
J. L.
I liked the atmosphere here. Don't sit at the back though as the smell from the toilet will ruin your appetite. We had the baked camembert with sweet potato fries which was excellent. Followed by the beetroot wellington which was pretty abismal. Felt like the chef had never tasted it, the flavours were confused and overwhelmed by cloves. The cauliflower puree was liquid and luke warm. Service wasn't great but the waiter was cute.
H. M.
A lovely pub serving good food with excellent service and warm hospitality. What's not to like?
S. K.
Absolutely lovely staff, great atmosphere in the bar, half price food when you stay at the hotel, and only a short walk from a tube station, bus lines, and the imperial war museum which is worth a visit!
T. C.
Nice pub and nice environment. Food is good, they have quite a good choice, pies, burgers, pasta dishes, salads and more. I had tortelloni which was ok. Pasta was a bit too thick and the filling was not as soft as it should be, it was homemade and they made a good effort. The sauce was very creamy which is very heavy and definitely English style rather than Italian but the taste over all good.
A. T.
We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. Excellent room, very large, with gorgeous bathroom. You can enter the hotel from the bar or street entrance and there is a locked door before the hotel rooms. Made us feel very safe. Staff was very friendly and we got half off food in the pub!!
B. M.
My team went here for Christmas lunch. The food came promptly and was tasty. The sea bass was cooked just right. For the dessert I think the cheese portion could have been slightly bigger.
A. o.
A friend had hired the room above for a private bash with food etc. The service was impeccable staff friendly and efficient. The food tasty and plenty. Lovely bar tender. All contributed to make it a special even I g for my friend.
K. D.
Splendid Sunday roast. Takes ages for the staff to clean the tables even when it’s not too busy. We have been given a desert menu and waited for someone to come and take our order for 1,5 hours.... not great.... forever yours, angry glasses girl
J. D.
Really lovely food, warm welcome service and clean, fresh and bright atmosphere.
C. D.
The service was fine, if a bit slow,. It was the food that was a letdown. The chicken and ham hock terrine was only just palatable, and my steak (slightly over cooked) had so much fat and gristle that I still had loads left when I'd eaten the nice bits. Chips tasted like roasties that come on school dinners. Dessert - crumble - was nice and our private room was very cosy and sccommodating with a great barman, so no complaints on that front at least!
S. G.
Eaten in here a few times and never been disappointed by food or service. However, this night was different....
Called up an hour before on a Friday night and was able to secure a table. On arrival we went to the till to enquire about our table and were seated in the raised area infront of the kitchen. Once seated a waitress with brown hair and no smile passed us some menus. However she oddly passed them over the ledge instead of walking around to put them on the table.
That night they had a gin promotion on and we were brought samples. Along with the samples were a discount card off our next purchase off said gin. What great marketing I thought plus the gin was delicious! So when the waitress came to take our order I asked if I could have one of those gins and she said no and that it wasn’t available. How odd. So I asked for a few more minutes to re think my order. When she came back I asked can I go to the gin bar and get it myself? She sighed and told me to wait there and she’d find out. She came back and said I must go to the bar and order it myself. I did. However the rest of my party were able to order drinks with her. This waitress was unhelpful and we got the impression she did not want to there. She continued to pass the drinks over the ledge because too lazy to walk around.
Didn’t get asked if we wanted anymore drinks.
Didn’t get asked if we wanted desserts.
Didn’t get asked if we wanted the bill.
When we decided to get up and go and lay our bill our said waitress barged one of us out of her way so she could do something else whilst another staff member sorted out our bill.
I regret paying the service charge due to her.
The food was great and there is a big ish guy with glasses who has great customer service. I think management need to hire some happier people and brief their staff on promotions.
O. D.
Hired The Master Room upstairs at The Tommyfield. Good venue for bday party - low cost and flexible space, with friendly staff, nice food and good selection of drinks. Manager even gave us some complimentary wine.
Only reason it wasn't 5* is a speaker above the bar had a loose connection and kept cutting out... making all the other speakers cut out too. The guy behind the bar knew about the issue as it was recurring. The only way to solve it was hold the speaker in place while stood on a chair, so instead we ended up keeping the music lower than we'd like (and all via one speaker so the dodgy one wasn't rocked). If they fix the speaker, I'd definitely hire the space again and recommend to others as well.
S. S. V.
Excellent atmosphere and the food was great! They have amazing specials and delicious vegetarian options:)
S. M.
Great Sunday Beef Roast. I added a side of creamed leaks too. Very good. Service was good too.
Nice selection of veggies- roasted potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage.
T. W.
Excellent hotel rooms, exceptional value.
Lots of bathroom amenities, stocked minifridge, really comfortable beds, and it was such a good price too.
J. G.
Love this place. weather it's just in a of a quick drink or for spending a Sunday afternoon. Great bar that serves great food. The comedy nights here in the room above the bar are the stuff of legend. Maybe London's best kept secret.
D. S.
Lovely rooms, lovely staff, beautiful views from top floor windows!
M. P.
Great food, great pub setting....has that traditional pub feeling with a modern touch but still keeps a traditional pub atmosphere...has a comedy club above too...great for an evening visit!
J. T.
I'm frothing down below at the thought of this place. Great food. Great comedy. And best of all I slipped someone a length in the bogs. What a "crack"ing night.
A. S.
Disclaimer: I went to The Tommyfield for a private event, but I'm sure it's equally as lovely in the bar area downstairs. The upstairs room itself manages to look regal without being pretentious (tough when there are chandeliers involved) and comfortably held forty. The food was pretty great too - basically English classics miniaturised. The burgers were a little bland but the battered halloumi and chips were pretty amazing. Also on offer was slices of cheese on toast (don't know what was in it but it tasted much better than any cheese on toast I've ever made), sausage rolls and proper fish and chips. The Tommyfield is situated in a beautiful part of town (lovely leafy Kennington) but it's only a five minute bus ride from Waterloo. Lovely as it is in the evening, I imagine this pub really comes into its own on long, lazy Sunday afternoons.
S. K.
Love the Sunday roast here. Great quality for a pub. Staff always friendly and always a buzzy atmosphere.
I. H.
A good place to watch football and get some reasonably-priced, largely traditional English grub. The bar staff can be a little slow off the mark if you just want a drink without food though.
N. G.
Great comedy club but pick your meal carefully - the Edinburgh previews were great value at £8 each incl. booking fees to see Danny Bhoy and Nick Helm, plus the regular compere rwally managed to get thw audoence going. We also stopped in for dinner and a drink beforehand and the pies (one wild boar, and the other steak and ale) were big and delicious. Oddly the sides were distinctly average - dried out chips and mash that seemed to be leftover from the Sunday roast. The desserts were also a mixed bag - a hefty slice of homemade banoffee pie was rather tasty but the sticky toffee pudding was a reheated tray sponge with an unwelcome amount of ginger and caramel sauce instead of toffee (and not even enough of it in the bowl to boot).
Go for the comedy club and a drink but pick carefully from the menu.
A. K.
Fantastic place to stay!! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, tasty and the portions are reasonable!! I would highly recommend this a place to stay/eat.
C. M.
Nice pub. Food isn't anything special.
A. M.
Fab place! Great trad pub food done really nicely, brilliantly friendly and relaxed service, and a really nice atmosphere. Definitely a place to go back to. Battered halloumi and chips, delish!!
R. R.
My fav local pub, have been dozens of times! Great pies. They make pretty good cocktails too. I recommend the venison pie and chips.
D. T.
Great Kennington pub. Good beer and great staff. Coping well with the national CO2 shortage! The rugby is on, Aus vs Ire. What more could you want? Enjoyed my pint.
G. C.
Steak pie was amazing!! Their pulled pork burger was a bit disappointing. Their Sliton tart as a starter was amazing.
M. S.
Awesome experience, the staff were amazing. Great selection of classic pub food. The Sunday roast was excellent.
A. G.
Chapy makes the best cocktails and Hector and his team always always provide the warmest welcome. The foods ok too.
B. T.
Great home cooked pies with good hearty gravy, something that is often difficult to come by in London. I will have to check out the comedy night on Thursday sometime in the future. Serves Meantime ales 😋
R. M.
Amazing place. Well worth a visit and a stay x
R. E.
We always get a very good meal here and today was no exception. Friendly and helpful staff
A. W.
Wicked pies on a Sunday afternoon - had the steak and ale with sweet potato fries and was delish.
A great house red too <3
D. H.
Loved this place. Friendly staff and great beers. Food was decent too and it's dog friendly.
T. A.
This is my favorite lunch spot. The pies are bang on. My favorite is the chicken, but steak or wild boar are also good. Lamb burger, beef burger, fish and chips. You can't go wrong!
J. L.
Private function, dusty and dirty room. Why would you have a large bowl of salad as part of a finger buffet? Ridiculous waste of food because noone could eat it, how could a chef serve such a thing? Hot camembert cheese with about 5 small pieces of bread per cheese for 30 people? Lots of wasted cheese. The event went well but someone should get a grip regarding cleaners and inform chefs what is acceptable to serve when no forks or spoons are provided.
S. D. W.
Very nice pub
Great food great service
Friendly staff very attentive
Reasonable prices
Fresh products, lovely beers
Great atmosphere
They do have accommodations too love the room very spacious
Nook early because they’re always fully booked

S. J.
Nicely tucked away within walking distance of the tube and not overly busy at lunchtime, enabling good private conversations. Excellent food and drinks too!
J. H.
Modern Gastropub sort of place, decor not really my sort of thing. Just came in for a drink and had a slightly disappointing pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord - maybe just caught them on a bad day. Staff were pleasant enough though.
A. C.
Pies. Meat. Some of the best steak and meat pies you'll find in a local pub anywhere in London. With a tastecard they taste even better. Visit on the Tuesday and win free drinks during the weekly pub quiz.
N. L.
The food here is excellent. Had a bad experience with the staff on the first visit but since then it has been fantastic all round
D. S.
Breakfast here does the job. Nice coffee, food reasonably priced. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was a nice portion.
E. A.
Is a nice place but it could do with a better selection on beer and ale. It is never super busy, which is a shame as the staff is friendly and nice and is a very interesting little place
P. R.
Excellent pub with rooms. Good food, atmosphere, friendly, and nice touch discounts for residents. And so handy for the Oval.
H. B.
Top notch pies, great beer selection.
T. B.
Great food, good service. We hired the Master Room upstairs for a Christmas lunch, it was perfect for our needs and Lucas our bartender was brilliant.
J. C.
Great pub with great food - high turnover of staff though so sometimes the service can be a bit changeable. All in all, well worth a visit, especially for the weekly quiz!
D. H.
Food is good. But service can sometimes be a bit forgetful. A few times extra unordered items have come. Other times things are missing. Food can also sometimes take a long time. Staff are friendly.
M. S.

I go quite often to the Tommyfield for so many reasons, the place is cool, delicious food, You can order drinks and pay at the end, there is a waiter service for drinks when you get a table, Staff are so friendly, other punters are friendly, cocktails are great, there is great comedy night upstairs every week, its dog friendly etc. I could go on and on but I decided to review it because sometimes you forget to review the good ones and I realised that I should have done this a long time ago.
B. K.
Great food at reasonable prices, with good service. What more can you ask for? We had a great time.
A. S.

We went to a party in the function room and spent the night in the hotel rooms, so can't comment on the pub experience or food. The function room was great, lovely decor and really helpful having the bar upstairs. The room we stayed in was lovely, loft style decor, good coffee machine, and thought it was really good value for money - for central London. The staff that showed us around were really friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!
S. B.
Best pies around! Lovely open space with lots of window seats. Great comedy club upstairs with some big names visiting. Bar service can be a tad slow but won’t stop me returning as a go to for good quality food.
E. T.
Came here for Always Be Comedy. Lovely pub if eye wateringly expensive.
