Great quiz night on Tuesday. Fantastic drinks selection at typical prices. Cool interior, very relaxed, informal and fun. Would be perfect if they had a larger garden. There are a couple of small outdoor seating areas but they're quite limited. Still, great pub with nice staff

Great pub! Love the decor, the atmosphere, and the beers on tap are pretty good. My friend had his birthday drinks on a Sunday night, and it was lovely. I loved the pool table and the outside garden! A great little find, definitely will be going back there when I am in the area.

Great little pub. A handful of ales that get rotated. Good pub quiz on a Tuesday and a decent roast on a Sunday. Update: Finally gone back after a refurb / new management. It's nowhere near as lovely as it used to be. The soul has gone and the beer selection is on the boring side.

Good pub with hotel rooms too. Enjoyed the weekly quiz with cash and other prizes and chances for more prizes. Beer including Pride and Wainwright Ales were good and also enjoyed a meal .

This is a really excellent local boozer in Vauxhall. The place has recently been refurbished and has excellent quality screens for watching sports, a good number of outside tables and a pool room that is available to reserve by the hour (£10)/half hour (£5). I haven't eaten here yet but the food appears popular and is served quite late. Whilst not boasting a comprehensive selection of drinks, there is enough to satisfy most tastes and the staff are friendly. Well worth popping in if you're in the area (it's a 5min walk from Vauxhall travel interchange).

So much better now they have done it up. The price for food is very decent with a wide range to choose from. The options for vegetarians could be imrpoved. This is an incredible place to watch sport with lots of large TV's so you can get a good view from any part of the pub. Pool table and a room to hire on the 1st floor. Also Has a small garden.

As my wife and I don’t drink we used to go there to have dinner. We had great time there several times. There is something happened with quality of food. I really liked the chicken wings and burgers. Now they are not so great as they were.

An amazing pub with great staff, good beers and a nice environment and feel to the pub. I booked an area for drinks after my girlfriend surprise 30th birthday event and they even bought out free cake for her birthday. A group of us will certainly be visiting again as the Axe throwing place is just around the corner. Well worth visiting!

Massive re-boot on this pub. An old (renovated) boozer in the heart of Vauxhall! I seem to remember it being renovated only a few years back, and this seems to have changed again. While it has amazing screens to watch football, I do feel it's lost a bit of its local charm. And it's the only renovation I've seen that actually makes the space feel 'smalller'. Still a beauty, in and amongst all the surrounding gentrification and I'll continue to go there!

Lovely place, really friendly staff that took great care of us. We were a big group of about 25 people and we all sat outside for drinks and a couple of hours later the owner brought us some chips on the house for everyone. Amazing service!

The Vauxhall Griffin is a hidden gem; this friendly going pub with a mixed welcoming crowd is certainly worthy of a praise or two. Head here on a Sunday (Make sure to book) and indulge in a fantastic Sunday roast, food in the Griffin is excellent with no disappointments. Upstairs is the Ruby Lounge which can be hired out for private events, they also run a board games Sunday (check for details) if you want to meet dice rollers. Also the pub quiz is worth a note as while challenging certainly draws a massive crowd! As stated before this is a mixed crowd and is one of the most openly diverse pubs in London.

Atmosphere great lots of screens it's now a sports bar. Food pricy but nice. Good facilities aswell. On the price if you are looking for an old fashioned or cheaper place head to the local Nolans on weasheaf lane. Check out my review on the other things in the local area such as Nolans .

The owners excel themselves with different forms of entertainment and social experiences. Ranging from a peaceful lunch to exciting,busy evening events. The pub is clean, neat, tidy, comfortable and feels welcoming. A range of different seats from barstools to sofas make this place feel like a large living room. The décor is so "So", one might believe it had the quality of a gay designer - exceptional - without being overtly gay. This is not a "gay" pub - it's better than that. Set just off a main road, this place feels safe enough to socialise outside the pub too... particularly useful on busy nights such as the monthly "Pie & Mash" event. This is my "local" pub!

A gem of a place in an unlikely location. There aren't many good options for a quiet pint in Vauxhall, and the Griffin easily claims the crown of the best pub in the area. Well-kept Doombar is available year-round, together with a rotation of guest ales. Sunday roast is substantial and fairly priced. Sadly no quiz machine any more, but there is a pool table. The Tuesday quiz, with a focus on pop culture and esoterica rather than the standard stuff, is one of London't best, though definitely call ahead to book a table as it's very popular. Also be warned that there are some large, regular teams who provide stiff competition!

In an area where developers are fast building large glass, steel and concrete offices and yet more luxury apartments, the Vauxhall Griffin is a last bastion of old Vauxhall. A great little independent pub with a pool table, it's cozy in the winter and has outdoor seating perfect for warm evenings in the summer. Well worth a visit.
