M. M.Pure heaven! Ordered classic salted beef with chips and drink and the sandwich was just amazing! The only thing I'd change would be adding English mustard. Highly recommend this place
J. F.Had a salt beef sandwich as a filling breakfast, along with a latka. Service was quick and very friendly and the sandwich was absolutely packed with meat. The mustard and pickle add flavour and we are definitely coming back to try a Reuben. Warning that the potato latka is incredibly filling-seriously makes a McDonald's hash brown look tiny in comparison.

We've ordered the salty sandwich and a portion of chips. Everything was fine. I didn't like the meat that much, but I don't like meat that much anyway. Although the taste was ok, but it smelled like tuna to me. That's why I didn't like it.

M. j.Fantastic! and year later and Still even more Fantastic. Had the opportunity to visit again the other day and ordered a large salt beef sandwich with Gherkin for £7.50. Now that might seem quite a lot of money but for a very good and well packed salt beef sandwich it represented very good value. Of course it was also very tasty indeed!
M. J.Good place to grab a quick bite to eat at lunch, small but interesting menu including salt beef, chopped liver and soups. The salt beef sandwich was simplistic in its brilliance, optional extras are available but the default is with mustard and pickles only. Sometimes less is more. The bread was soft with a slightly chewy crust and tangy caraway seeds to complement the generous helping of salt beef. Personally I could have had more mustard but I'll definitely be back to sample the other options on offer. Worth a visit if you like your meat.

P. M.Stopped there earlier today. The salt beef sandwich was delicious, and the latkes were a dream. So tasty, with no fuss. The service was also top class, very friendly staff and very helpful. Would definitely recommend. If you've not eaten here and you're on this part of town, do yourself a favour and go eat here.

They could also use permanent plates and utensils. It's not acceptable to use disposable plates and plastic utensils for eating in.

You can eat at the massive communal country table seated on a bar stools while city types discuss their new tech venture in the background Roxy Music plays. Did I mention the roast beef? F.Before the new prices this place was spot on! Very tasty sandwiches at the right price (for me), now over priced in both options (small and large). I love the fried fish balls, though.
