Great place. Good vibe, nice decor and most importantly tasty food, fusion food so excellent selection! Lamb shanks were delicious! Slightly on the expensive side. The lamb chops were our faves but extortionately priced!! Would go back for sure!

What a delightful place ! Great location and modern understated interior. Went there a couple of weeks ago with my family, and the service could not be more welcoming !. Had a chat with the head chef who has worked in a few prestigious restaurants in London, and internationally. Great variety of food, subtly spiced, not too overpowering for the younger kids. A nice twist on the 'Asian -fusion' menu which is becoming quite popular. Would highly recommend this place. Looking forward to our next visit.

Really good service. I booked here for my birthday in January and the preparation beforehand is great. The owner had my contact details so that groups can send their orders beforehand so that the ordering process is quicker and easier. They had candles to put on the cookie cake that I bought and played happy birthday music. I was able to adjust my booking last minute with no problems! Staff and food were lovely, portions are good and the booking process when booking large groups is made really easy! Thank you to all the staff there.

Toomai was recommended to me by friend. So a group of us decided to try it. We went on a Sunday evening, so wasn't so busy. Looked amazing from outside, very big and spacious. Decor was very nice to. Food was amazing apart from my tom yam soup. I cant describe it, but I've had far better. We ordered a few starters which were really nice. For mains I ordered a schezwan fried rice with chicken, as I didn't fancy any noodles. It was absolutely delicious. Price wise its very reasonable. Only two negatives for me. 1. The tables are very small, so with a large group it can be quite uncomfortable. 2. My coconut lassi which was very thick, but was quickly rectified by the manager. Would I go back there again? Absolutely. Really enjoyed my food, very friendly staff.

Unbelievably cheap so very good value. Really friendly and quick service. Unfortunately the quality of the food matched the prices. The beef was very rubbery and tasteless. All of the dishes were way too spicy. Even my partner who loves spicy food was sweating like crazy. They should really indicate that on the menu.

Enjoyed a flavoursome meal with family and friends, definitely recommend the Thai calamari and the red curry. Kids enjoyed the chicken and noodles and even though we split the adult portion they were still more than replete! Fast and friendly service combined with a decent drinks, cocktail and mocktail selection meant adults were similarly satisfied. Definitely set to be a future favourite!

The food was alright, nothing special, arrived on our table within a reasonable time. I was unfortunately put off by the lack of service and cleaning around. 2 tables left and the plates were there for good 30 mins (then we left). Our plates were also not taken even after we paid. it was 7pm and there 2 waitresses there, with 4-5 tables. Maybe we were unlucky that night, but I don't think we will come back.

Lovely attentive staff. It was my husbands 60th. We didn't mention it and quietly sang happy birthday. Only 5 of us due to covid. The food was lovely and plentiful. Good choice of various asian dishes. One of our party was vegan and was well catered for. Someone must have heard us singing happy birthday and ran up to sainsburys and bought a cake. As we were coming to the end of our meal they produced the cake plus lit candles. So thoughtful and unexpected. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Lovely spot! Began as a Thai restaurant with some Chinese menu items and recently added Indian dishes to the menu, too. I could fill up on an array of starters given that there is so much choice but the mains are also lovely. Lots of options for vegetarians and vegans, they proactively made the Som Tum Papaya Salad without fish sauce and another dish without egg such that we could eat it. Can't wait to go back!

The food is decent, I went with my friends I had the chicken satay for the starter, which was kind of a uneven temperature and coldish sort of obvious why that was. Mango lassi was very nice I liked it alot, If I ever pass round there again on the go would grab one. Pad Thai was nice too but for my liking should have been seasoned more and a tad bit more saucy it was sort of dry. The starters such as the Prawn crackers and poppadoms were nice and so we're the dips with it, which my friends ordered. I would say the food is decent to be on the neutral side, there should be more service staff though to accommodate customers, as it gets confusing for them to remember what you need or would like. They are friendly and responsive though, so thats not a problem at all. Overall I do recommend this restaurant for others to try.

fantastic service and amazing food for the price they’re so thoughtful and friendly towards you and the flavours of the food are immaculate. we ordered 4 starters and 2 mains and 2 drinks. honestly a HIDDEN GEM and it is so under rated. if i could rate this higher i would. my new GO TO place. defo worth the hour and a half travel. i would recommend anyone to come here if you like flavoursome food. amazing atmosphere, so beautiful inside too and the desserts were DELICIOUS. Best asian restaurant i’ve ever been to. The coconut kulfi was AMAZING

I like this place - foods a bit on the salty side but thats how I like it. Proper sized portions and lots of space to eat in which is good for the family. The owner is a decent sort and you do get a few knobs in here but otherwise its a good place to eat in the evening

Great value for money and generous portion sizes. Went on a Sunday evening so ample parking around. The service was good, they had an extremely polite new starter. The clamari starters were fantastic. Disappointed with the chicken lollipop. Was satisfied with my mains Chicken Laksa, the others in the group had the Massaman lamb shank which was good too.

This place is great for a night with the girls or for families with children- newly opened and very local to my work so i visit regularly! It’s a New business, so has been finding its feet a bit in terms of smooth running and timings but don’t pay attention to the bad reviews and visit for yourselves as the staff are very friendly polite and attentive and the food is tasty and all for a very very reasonable price. The Cocktails are amazing!

We got our food delivered which was very quick. Even the website was good to use. The food was good considering the low prices. Mine could have done with a lot more chilli. The only complaint was that it needed a 20second blast in the microwave to warm it up. We happily order again.

I’ve been to this place twice once was on Sunday just gone, the first visit I must say wasn’t great the service was okay the food was above average, decided to try it again this bank holiday I must say the new waitress/manager (dark hair, quite tall I didn’t get her name) is absolutely amazing, service was fantastic you could tell she was nee but tried her upmost best to fufil our needs, the food again could of been better but the service outshone the food by a mile, the only thing negative I have to say is she wasn’t sure if the service went to the staff or owner. For the service I received on 5/5/19 I will try this place again and maybe opt for something different on the menu, thank you again!

We were invited for a "Meet your Neighbours" event hosted by the restaurant, and it went well on the whole. The staff were receptive and attentive and looked after the whole evening. They are a testament to the place!! The selection of food and wine was very good for the evening...however we found out that our favourite item was not on the regular menu and was only available for the evening which was a little suspect. Would go back for a quick lunch.

I was a little hesitant about trying this place - I wasn’t expecting much - but i ended up being really impressed. Food took a while (but it was the first week the place has been open, so understandable) but it was absolutely delicious. I’d recommend the green curry and the chilli paneer. Staff were run off their feet (I think we were there the first busy night) but they were great all the same. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Greenwich now. Will be back!

Very beautiful place to have a family reunion and the price was reasonably good. Starter Veg spring roll...... £3.99 Tempura Prawn.... £4.99 Prawn cracker....... £2.95 Main Singapore noodles.... £7.99 With Prawn Laksa served with rice(chicken).. .. £8.50. The tempura Prawn was very nice. Spring onion and Laksa were very tasty as well. Excellent customer service. My family were well looked after.

Despite serving Thai predominantly, there is a good selection of food on offer. We didn't have anything spicy, and ordered what the manager recommended to be safe, but it was still a beautiful meal. Ordered chicken dim sum, prawn crackers, mains of lamb shank in what tastes like a korma/satay sauce, hakka chicken noodles, and plain rice. I was looking for a tasty restaurant located around this area. As this one was located conveniently near the Greenwich community centre, I thought give it a try. Although staffs were lovely and helpful, it is very unfortunate that I cannot say the same about the food. Spicy Beef Salad's beef were clearly pre-cooked instead of grilled in medium rare like the traditional Thai salad suppose to be, and Pad Thai - I ordered the prawns but chicken comes up, had to tell the waitress that I will have it with chicken but to amend my order, then there was no flavour. . . I asked for takeaway at the end so I can season it at home. It's such a shame as the staffs were quite nice.

Booked as a pre-birthday treat by a good friend. Excellent welcome. Currently (30 June 30+°) without air- con, so we were sat by the door, fine. Chicken with peanut satay + calamari garlic with coriander starters were well received. Fresh orange juice great. Off menu mixed juice great. Red house wine great. Toomai salad with salmon great. Green Thai chicken curry - I've had better (her verdict) . There for hours catching up with hilarity not rushed. Only 👇 our mains were very late. All in all I would go back.

Relaxing as it gets!! Don't worry, you'll get nice worthy hearty food, with good wine if you're after wine too. 🍷 is well selected but moderately priced, what you want to have with a decent nice laid back meal. The staff are genuinely helpful, and the place is un-stressful. Can't finish your orders? Take it home, no sweat. Stare out the windows? You see some folks walking past with their kids, and there's a good few buses around to take you home. I had spicy beef salad — excessively wholesome. Filling but not heavy, and goes slow and we'll with very nice Portuguese wine (last year, 2017) — starts with sharp sparkle of the youth, and curves up to the smoky, almost sorrowful tone. My friend had spring rolls (crunchy tiny creatures, but good as a side) and some good nice soup to fill the end of the day's hunger. Great place, nice to have in the neighborhood!

Took the cruise till Greenwich pier. Decided to have lunch nearby. Toomai offers pan Asian food and it is halal. The food is quite tasty. The restaurant ambience is quite nice and the waiters are helpful. Took sometime for the food to arrive.

Fairly decent deco. Can easily see this has been setup with a rather cost saving aspect in mind. Apparently been open for more than a month the glass still has the original stickers and looks like they have not done the clean after the builders have left. Poor to see a bodge job on the extension lead that feeds the display. Really tacky. The inner carpet trimming is broken and causing a rather large trip hazard. That just the start if you want to be successful then you need to be serious around standards and first impressions. Looks like the business is lacking hospitality experience. The service was shocking. We arrived with a confusion on where to seat us. We were two and the restaurant has 3 x 2 tops so 6 covers and they were worried where we could sit! Secondly our server what a shame was new and being trained. Had no clue about the food not the drinks. I don’t blame the staff I blame really poor management and lack of induction training. You don’t do on the job training at the guests expense. Dona induction day menu tasting and sign offs before you allow newbies to go free. The chef the older Asian lady had to keep pointing out to the 4 foh team nene era to be attentive to the 6 guests. What a lack of direction and front house structure. Took over 5 minutes to get two bottle of cider to the table. Come on more staff then guests. Served with a eyelash nice. Removed it and said nothing The kitchen did well on service food came out in quick rounds. Not a fan of the Thai calamari you ruined it by deep frying it and over cooking it. Busaba does this right. Rest food was average had authentic tastes of Thailand. Lacking but flavour here and there. During mains runner or on server tried to bring over starters to ya then I said no that’s not for us as we on mains ??? How can you get this so wrong 4 Front of house three tables surely of two on mains the starters is the one that just arrived. No check back on the food , no up sell for additional second drinks such a loss there to increase spend per head here easy £6 additional spend. Is a pity as the place has potential if you train your team have a manager directing and create a buzzz. Do I lease get those windows cleaned and remove the stickers from the builders tag. Always before launch you should dona restaurant deep clean after builder leave due to dust settlement. Price is good and portions really large so can’t fault the intention. Good luck. Happy to help. Toomai can go toe-to-toe with anything in the West End, soundly thrashing the competition on food and service which are both impeccable. Watch for yourself and you'll see how much the staff enjoy themselves - genuinely enjoying the experience of working in a beautiful restaurant rather than the false bonhomie of the larger chains. The full menu is excellent - the blackened cod is a treat as is the lobster curry, and everything from the starters right on through to the mocktails are as delicious to eat as they are to behold. It's great for family gatherings - something of a rarity around here - as well as for couples or even eating in privacy. Warm, tasteful and supremely spacious its worth seeking out as a remedy to these dreary nights.

Surprised at the bad reviews here. We ate there last night and really enjoyed everything. So nice to be able to choose food from across the whole pan Asian region in one sitting. Friendly engaging staff, great Thai curry, delicious dim sum and a Lassi to die for. The cocktails could have been a bit better but not so bad to knock off any stars.
