A recent makeover/refurb has made this place inviting, with lovely furniture providing comfort and privacy. Excellent! My pizza was delicious (you MUST try the Pizza Malawach!), and the fish and chips is somethong i'll be ordering again. And again. And again. Service was faultless, very friendly, polite and welcoming. Great team. Ps, the cheese blintzes were heavenly!

Great local kosher cafe in Stamford Hill where the staff and most of the customers are Hasidic Jews. I usually have the chummus plate: super-creamy hummus with half a dozen crunchy home made falafels and either tahini or olive oil, and unlimited pitta. If I am very lucky they may have some off-menu knishes. Uri's used to be a little scruffy, but there are new booths and some nice touches which look great. The staff are always friendly and hospitable. Eating at Uri's is an interesting as well as delicious experience if you are an outsider to Stamford Hill's Hasidic community.

Uri's pizza was clean and tidy, with the tables pushed back since there is no eating in. On a busy road, sometimes you can find parking outside, sometimes you won't be able to. They serve a variety of foods. We had to wait longer than we were told which was annoying. There wasn't long to wait, as our food was prepared promptly and served when ready.
