The place looks good, the food is very spicy, less meat, prawn quantity. More rice & noodles quantity. Vegan & vegetarian options are over £11 while meat options over £13.5 However, sweet is over the price at range of £7 Staff are friendly , kind and quick service. The toilet for disability was not that clean and running out of toilet tissue. You will spend £25 if you would like to order one main + sweet + drink As I mentioned it’s a lot of noodles and rice rather vegetables, meat or prawns etc. It’s expensive place if you invited 2 friends on your treat etc. Do not forget to ask to not have spicy if you do not eat spicy food because it’s quite heavy spicy. I would give more stars but the food is expensive regarding the ingredients which is very cheap. The food presentation is good.

Delicious and great value. Friendly staff. I didn't like how they seemed to just bring out each item whenever they got around to making it, without much regard for the fact that most people won't want to start eating until the whole party has their food. This left the meal that arrived first to start going cold.

Went here twice now and have few complaints. Place is kept clean, and meets or exceeds all the more basic benchmarks. Staff are nice folks, had a little difficulty getting my server’s attention on a busy day but that was the exception. The buns are excellent, really a treat. Thought about their pork belly bun for days after eating it! Their ramen is delectable as well, only slight criticism I have is that the soup is slightly spicy for my taste but that’s just my personal preference. I will say I appreciated the complimentary green tea to help wash down the spice of the broth. Overall this restaurant is excellent and I recommend it!

I ate here alone yesterday afternoon, and had the best experience. The food was all great - despite not having the chilli squid available that day, the vegan squid was an excellent substitute. However, the reason for this review is for my server, Bari, who went above and beyond in making sure I had a great experience. Wonderful experience for us at Wagamama, Angel. We visited the restaurant on a Sunday for lunch and everything was fantastic! Procedures were in place due to Covid-19 and staff adhered to those perfectly. At arrival, we were kindly asked to sanitize hands and offered a nice table. Staff was super smiling, attentive and welcoming - we loved that! We ordered some fabulous mushroom baos to start off the meal, accompanied by beer and a lovely alcohol free mohito! We then ordered mains: a spicy chicken dish with roasted peppers and rice and a vegetarian dish which was just a dream! We completed our meal with a slice of white chocolate and ginger cheesecake. Overall, fabulous experience for us. We are definitely going to be back - make sure to visit this place if you are in the mood for Asian food and strolling around the Angel area!

Quick service, as expected from Wagamamas. Food was tasty but a bit on the cold side. I had the Shirodashi Pork Ramen and the Tama squid balls. I would highly recommend the Tama squid, but the Raman was a tad on the bland side. It's Wagamamas; you can't really go wrong. We were asked several times if we needed anything, which was nice. Will be returning with alternative menu choices.

I visited Wagamama for the first time a few weeks ago after watching their amazing ad before my movie at the cinema - so great marketing for sure! So here is how my experience went. Food: I took a Wagamama ramen - temperature was just lukewarm and I wish it had been hotter, it was very quick to completely cool off; could do with a bit more salt - I don’t think they put any salt, if any, was very little - but that might just be the Japanese way; the meats were good but very little meat, compared to amount of water and noodles. The good parts: good amount of veg, it was very tasty even with little salt, served fairly quickly

Last minute decison after Sadlers Wells... Plenty of room - screens on the long shared tables or smaller tables also available and outside seating too. Menu had some new options for summer including deepfried oyster mushrooms as "vegan squid" which was crunchy and spicy and delicious (worth a visit just for that and the vegan banana pudding!) We had great service and the meal was a real treat.

I really enjoyed my visit to Wagamama, I visited during the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and the service and experience was amazing and very professional. Initially just to go in there was a bit of a queue but it went quite quickly (about 20 mins). And as people were entering and leaving the host was informing people of the procedures being put in place for the customers. A hand sanitiser dispenser was by the door, they had visors by the seating area so the 2 metres distancing would be complied when in came to your dining, your menu is disposable and also your placemat, and you can now scan a QR code to pay your bill online without hassling any of the staff which I thought was amazing. I ordered the yaki udon, chicken gyoza, beef hirata bun, and banana katsu which were all delicious especially the banana katsu which now my favourite dessert. I also liked that the green tea is free here. I would definitely visit this branch again in the nearby future just not very often because it is quite pricey!

Unfortunately, there was a series of events where they dropped the ball with their service. This place is great. We had made a reservation for 20 people which somehow got lost but they managed to seat us anyway within 10 minutes. I give 4 stars however because they don't do anything for a birthday celebration which is standard in the restaurant industry ( I have been a waitress for 4 years on and off). My team enjoyed a pre-Christmas lunch at this popular branch of the oriental fusion chain. The usual nonsense of bringing the food out as it's ready rather than all together purveyed. But that's part of the fun isn't it? Will you get your starter 10 minutes after the main? Maybe. Probably. The staff were attentive and friendly. It's all good fun and the food is fine.

Conveniently located near my work, I've been to this location quite a few times. The food is always consistently good and the service is always quick and with a smile. The chicken katsu curry is a stand-out favourite and I love the peach iced tea! It can sometimes lack a bit in atmosphere (it boasts a slightly "cafeteria" feel sometimes when it's really busy), but I still recommend it. A cheap and cheerful place to have an affordable meal with friends.

Heads up that this one in particular, stays open quite late (around midnight at least). The service is good but never magnificent. I would say the price range is not cheap. I'm quite fond of Wagamama as a chain. I've never ordered a bad meal and staff have always been cheery. This branch attracts the high street shoppers and post-cinema crowd so it can get busy, but I've never seen queues out the door. I'd don't think I'd bother if it was that busy - the food is consistently nice but not worth queuing over. With it's bench seats and high turnover, this isn't the place for a boozy lunch or romantic dinner. It's somewhere to grab a quick meal (often tasty and healthy too) before getting on with the rest of your day.

Wagamama, how can you not like it when you like a healthy eating. Together with my boyfriend we went to Wagamma Islington after yoga class. We wanted something healthy and without fuss service. We succeeded. However, when we walked in there wasn't anyone who will approach us and sit us so after a long moment of waiting we grabbed the sits we wanted. The food arrived a very quickly. Was interested to hear that someone got food poisoning here as I did as well. Was in hospital as I had a severe anaphylactic reaction. Doctors told me that if shiitake mushrooms are either not fresh or not cooked properly they could produce a really bad toxin
