A nice place with lovely service. The lamb shank was amazing, well cooked and had a creamy mash and wonderful gravy sauce. The portion of chips had been given enough time and tasted good. The port drink serving was a tad small on the drinks order. But the waiter was very accommodating and topped it up. One negative was the Tiger Shrimp starter. It had a high price tag, but the portion was so tiny, just two skewers. That was the only negative aspect of the dinner. I would recommend this place, but they must give more in the starter or lower the price.

One of the best beef burgers I ate! Super tasty! The bread was amazing! The meat was very well done! Mashed potatoes were like at home! Everything was ready in 7 minutes though it wasn’t busy at that time! The service is super kind!) Will definitely come back!

Went here today after visiting St Thomas hospital and enjoyed it a lot. Was medium busy and staff very polite and helpful. Everything was clean with a nice brasserie atmosphere. I had the Salmon and my wife had the lamb shank. Both were cooked just right for our tastes and the mash was nice and smooth. My wife particularly loved the taste of the sauce on the lamb. Though we were pretty full as they were decent size portions, we then treated ourselves to share a portion of their homemade hot chocolate brownie and ice cream with chocolate sauce on top which was really delicious and we would recommend to anyone! Considering the location is in the centre of London a few minutes from the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, I believe the prices were very reasonable for the location and the quality of the food. We will definitely be going back next time we are in the area

The food was pretty good and the portions were large. After trying the fish and chips I wish I had ordered that instead of my pizza. Our biggest problem was the service was so slow and we had to ask for our check a few times. This was our first "London" meal and I felt TERRIBLE that we had to pay for water. I was pregnant and was constantly feeling thirsty. We came to find out toward the end of the trip London restaurants are supposed to offer tap water. Thia place is worth checking out, just be prepared to flag someone down if you need something and know you may need to ask multiple times.

Honestly this place is amazing. The food has so much flavor and everything we have had has been amazing My chicken had a tasty smoked flavor, the lamb was so moist and tender, and our steak was cooked perfectly. This is a place made for the tourist filled hotels nearby. The menu had 'Mediterranean' grills, fish and chips and burgers. A jack of all trades but a master of none I would say. It seemed like it was predominantly a Turkish themed restaurant with the influence on the menu. However if you want a Turkish experience worth having then go to Green Lanes in North London, it's a travel away from central London, but far more worth it than this. I ordered a mix grill for £15 as seen on the picture. The food itself tasted average, it could have been reheated food as I didn't get the impression of seeing chefs behind a smokey grill. It lacked love let's say and so did the staff, polite but no enthusiasm. The salad which is usually great in Turkish places didn't appear particularly fresh here. Overall I would say this is an ok place if you just want to eat, it is not a representation of London's quality when it comes to international cuisine. Again I haven't tried the other dishes so I can only tell you about what I had, other dishes may be good. The prices also represent the expense of the area. Really....go elsewhere if you want decent food, there is so much more if you put some effort into finding.

Halloumi cheese is not halloumi, it's just ordinary cheese. Full English breakfast is a pretty small portion (only one sausage, mushrooms are very small and the eggs are filled with oil). Overall medium experience, but we will not visit this restaurant again.

Went today for lunch . We ordered 2 pizzas They came over 20 mins later saying sorry we have no pizza.. a few seconds later a lady came and said we are doing them fresh now for you and they'd made a mistake ,our pizzas came one nice the other cold and bit soggy. I told the waitress it wasn't very nice but wasn't looking to not pay. A free desert was brought and a coffee offered but as we were in a hurry I declined it, I asked for the bill and she had kindly removed the whole cost of one pizza and gave us a discount on the 2nd one with a reply of you didn't like it so you shouldn't have to pay!!. Extremely kind offer . I would definitely return on my next visit . Super people !! X

My first visit to this restaurant was on 1st August 2020 while on a day trip to Sealife in London, a nice restaurant and my partner and I enjoyed fish and chips which was delicious! The service was great and staff were efficient, as we had enjoyed our visit we decided to return to the same restaurant on 9th August 2020, however, this visit was completely ruined by a rude member of waiting staff (woman with blonde hair, polish accent) after we had finished our meal and sat outside for drinks we asked for the bill, when the waitress or similiar role returned she aggressively said to me 'you should pay this time because he paid last week' I dont think its any of her business who pays and certainly should not be commenting!! Very bad customer service and maybe management should revise training as this could be why the restaurant was almost empty on both visits! Would definately have visited again but will avoid eating here again now due to the rudeness encountered last time!

A nice restaurant with a relatively small but varied menu. Food was nicely cooked and tasty, although I felt that the main course that my wife had was a little small and would not have satisfied me. Went on a Monday night and had the Avocado Salad , which was quite good. But service, not so good. I asked for my check and waiter I guess forgot. After waiting about 15 minutes, i asked another server who brought it right over.. Walking out, I saw my waiter at a back table eating his dinner. Went for drinks here some months ago. It's a very friendly place with efficient service - on a quiet street but very convenient for the main tourist spots. Highly recommended. Please note that very negative reviews posted in the last day or so are likely to be fake - prompted by the owner speaking up publicly in support of immigrants and against Brexit. I'm a genuine customer who lives locally and enjoyed my trip to this restaurant.

Had dinner here, the half chicken was superb, tender and flavoursome. Service was very good and they replaced our kids tomato pasta when it was deemed too spicy. Only thing to note if you order this for your child, the sauce is already made so they cannot take out the spice.

We started with the calamari. There were about 5 small pieces of squid. We had anticipated sharing the plate (2 people) so it was quite small. Nonetheless, it tasted good. We then shared the sizzling mixed grill for two. It tasted good but the steak was very dry and overcooked. You expect the meat at a grill house to be cooked to perfection. Would probably not return if we were ever in town again.

Lovely sirloin steak with fries and tomato. Drink prices around £4.50 for a lager but then it's London prices! Restaurant is lovely, staff very attentive and polite and can recommend the bread and butter pudding with custard. Although the meal lovely, the place great, the loo's clean, the £4.20 per person service charge was like a bit a lumpy steak hard to swallow, sadly because of that, won't be returning.

2 and a half stars for service half a star for the food. Extremely disappointed and I expected better from an establishment like this. While the starter was delicious despite not being given soda bread and being given regular white toast, the entrees were a joke. Not only did my pasta turn up with ingredients missing but my mother's fish turned up without the potatoes, we sent it back and within minutes we had it back on the table with the potatoes. However, when she went to take a bite out of the potatoes it was stone cold! It was taken back to the kitchen for a 2nd time and we were informed that the chef had rushed the potatoes to get it done for us. Not acceptable! If a meal is sent back you re-fire the whole plate! The Chef's rush and dis-organisation cost the restaurant money. On top of this our waitress did not know the menu, when asked about an item on the menu all she said was I don't know she didn't even go and check for us. Thankfully the member of staff who dealt with our issues was polite and apologetic he is the only reason 3 stars have been given instead of 1.

Location and surroundings pretty good. Got there on a Tuesday for 6pm and so not too busy. Food served relatively quick and didnt feel rushed. However, it soon gets very busy and took a couple of requests to get the bill. Clearly a popular place, so if you arrive late expect to have a little patience.
