Reviews of Wing Tai Restaurant
J. P.
Not bad. The dim sum is decent but definitely not the best in London and not as good as, for example Royal China or Dumplings Legend, but I have no significant complaints about the food here. Service is typically indifferent as you might come to expect from these places, food arrives quickly and nice and hot. The noodle portions are generous (which is great). Beware the long queues on Sunday lunch times!
L. K.
This restaurant serves dim sum and being located within the Wing Yip wholesale market, it is very popular with shoppers. Have to be honest, while they serve decent dim sum around the area, their food sometimes is hit or miss. They do have wide selection of dim sum. Their menu has pictures of dim sum if you are not familiar with it and you place your order in a piece of a paper slip.
Don’t expect service here though. They also do dinner and they serve roast duck here but really their dim sum at lunch is probably better known than anything else. Food is reasonably priced.
Food 7/10, service 5/10, ambience 5/10, value for money 7/10.

We went Sunday noon time and there was a big queue, you need to ask for a ticket with number and wait for your table. While we were waiting we went shopping in wing Ip… around half an hour we got our table. Staffs working there were super efficient… they work super quick!
Dim sum not too expensive but they will add service charge of 12.5%.
We ordered around 13 dim sums and we need take out box at the end. Not bad with the taste and price. Will come again.

Authentic taste and very friendly and polite member of staff. Food taste quite tasty and serving hot and fresh. Spacious tea restaurant compared with what you seen as in China town. I personally enjoy the decorations inside of the restaurant because it reminds me of the good old Hongkong style restaurant that barely existed in Hk anymore. Anyway I hope my interview help you and wishing everyone enjoy your evening.

Lovely food. Nice staff.
Set menu B.
Duck with rice.
Broccolis with garlic.
Plenty of food for us 4 hungry gals!
The bill came to about £30 per head.
We will be back.

Lovely traditional dim sum set within a very traditional old school restaurant (probably the same as it was back in the 60s when it opened). All dishes were well delivered and nicely proportioned. All very good quality and what particularly stood out here was the fried crispy squid for its freshness and portion generosity. Highly recommended to guarantee hitting that dim sum craving!
S. B.
Wide selection of dim sum and authentic dishes- fast service and low prices! Definitely worth a visit. Great atmosphere, full of families sharing a meal :) Would recommend a trip before visiting Wing Yip.

Dim sum quality is pretty good. Service definitely needs improvement! Male waiters are quite rude, female waitresses are more helpful. Manager is the worse one, no customer service at all. Just walking around the restaurant in his suit and talking on mobile phone.

Food is very Cantonese. Reminds me of my days in Hong Kong. Their dim sum is good. Some of their mains is not bad too. At times the service is good but some of them can be quite rude as they just want to rush you out. There is no hospitality only because the OWNER is never there. There is no one to ask if you enjoyed the food or not. I get the service only because I can speak to them in Cantonese and they love it only because I am not Chinese and they get excited to know more if I had lived in the Far East long.

Good restaurant. Good food - tad pricey for being an out-of-Central-London restaurant. They do fairly good dim sum as well. Excellent chicken and sweetcorn soup, fried noodles with mixed vegetables (dry), tofu, and sweet and sour chicken is OK., amongst other good items I'm sure! Reindeer Cafe next door is cheaper food with larger portions (but more like a downtown noodle bar type place) - each main course is enough for 1.5 to 2 meals if you order noodle dishes or rice dishes.
D.
Great setting, lovely decorations tasty food. The staff promptly seated us and took our order. The different dishes were full of flavour and Went down perfectly with the jasmine tea. A bit pricey but highly recommended.

Best Chinese restaurant in London. We love the food there. Authentic and full of choices. Chinese food lover most go and try. Weekend normally very busy for dim sum. they open at 11am, you either go on time or after 2pm , or there will be a long queue in between. Enjoy!

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. We had a waitor who was a bit rude but that didn't spoil our day. My boys had a good first experience.
J. L.
Had better dim sum in places! Better than nothing!
M. D.
Great food. Plenty of parking. Great for grocery shopping afterwards in the shop afterwards. reasonable prices however, the service is robust and lackluster. In fairness that is just how it is in China so, it's pretty standard.. so don't let it surprise you too much...
L. A. R.
Super tasty and original Chinese food, many beautiful dishes, the manager is a super nice gentleman, always taking care of us, we always go there, in family and with friends and everyone always had a great time. Thanks
A. A. N.
The restaurant looks amazing! As you arrive on the site you can see a lovely Chinese style construction with all sorts of antique Chinese items and you get transported in a different country in just seconds ❤️
They have a great quantity of food and great quality too and the kids ate as well, so that's a mega plus 😉
On the visit we are going to be ordering just 1 or 2 portions of main course as the portions are huge and perfect for sharing depending on how many people we are ☺️
Thank you for such lovely experience!
R. L.
Always come here for dim sum before doing my grocery shopping! Food is always nice and service is excellent. I've been coming here for many years now since I was a teenager with my parents, and now as an adult with my own family. Also have dinner here if I'm around the area. Both menus are great and they have covid safety procedures in practice.
D. Y. F.
I wanted to give 3.5 stars but since there was no option to do so, I rounded down. Food here is OK but I was disappointed as I had hoped for better. We ordered several dim sum dishes as well as "three kinds of bbq meat and rice".
The shanghai dumplings came with no soup filling, which is whole point of this dumpling! The crispy layer of the crispy pork was different to what I have had before - it didn't seem to break in the mouth as it normally does when you bite into a piece. The squid was served cold which is different to how I've had it before. First time I have ordered XO cheng fun anywhere but not impressed. Other than that, the other dishes were OK.
K. T.
Went for some dim sum on a Tuesday afternoon. The service was a bit lacking but the food made up for it. Highly recommend it for anyone in the area!
K. F.
Very good standard of Chinese foods here although the price tug is not the cheapest around. Quite friendly too for children in this good sized restaurant. Easy to park your car and that is a bonus.
M.
Came here for Sunday lunch. Service was fast even though all tables were filled. Sticky rice in lotus leaves and deep fried custard bun are good. Roast duck is ok but not juicy enough for me, they offer you “without bone” option. Xiao long bao could be better. If coming here via public transport, beware that Hendon and Cricklewood stations usually have delays and cancelled trains so check the route frequently. The road outside the restaurant is a highway so very jammed during peak hours and weekend afternoons.
M. N.
Very good food, but lacks cleaniness, especially the main restauranr carpet.
A Very nice waiter called Chay from Thailand made our visit special, as he's very professional and always had a friendly and pleasant smile.👏🏾👍🏾😁.
V. 8.
Very fresh food and good value for money! Expect a queue before you are seated but the service is fast and efficient!
S. L.
The food is always piping hot with good portion sizes...service is pretty rushed tho as it is always busy as very popular but we love it and been going for over 15 years
J. T. N.
Our regular spot for dim sum, service can be a little slow but great food.
C. T.
Good quality food choices and clean environment. A very good experience for the price. I can surely recommend this restaurant
A. H.
Just off the Brent Cross roundabout on Cricklewood. It is on the right hand side so you either do a u turn through the garage or take the road on the right after the petrol station, turn right at junction and then right again. Restaurant on your left. Plenty of parking.
This Chinese restaurant is next to the Chinese supermarket and a fast food Chinese cafe.
Popular for dim sum. Quite large and can get very busy weekends. Reasonable prices.
S. C.
I usually go China Town for my dim sum fix (wan chai corner) but stayed more local this time.
Decent selection of dim sum, all very tasty. Wasn’t too keen on the crispy noodles - the quality of meats and seafood was a let down.
Will probably just stick to dim sum dishes next time. Good spot if you’re shopping in Wing Yip, or passing through the area.
D. T. W. 陳.
Good location for chinese and local for dine in and a little pricy. Recommend Char Siew Pao and Har Kaw.
S. L.
Chinese restaurant with a good selection of chinese food. Food quality is good by British standard. Quantity is good especially for outside of China town. Easy parking plus option to shop for oriental and Asian food in supermarket next door.
M. H.
I always enjoy an authentic Chinese meal at this restaurant in Cricklewood (next door to Reindeer cafe and Wing Yip supermarket). They do very good crispy belly pork and sweet and sour prawns and a very vast array of dishes as you might expect. The service is professional and friendly.
o. t. i. e.
Always busy so be prepared to queue when you arrive, but the food is excellent. Dim sum in particular is always a pleasure. Be sure to stop at the supermarket before you leave and have a look around.
J.
This place is pretty much the best place in London to get dim sum. Always packed on a weekend. Food is served quick. Always delicious!
N. P.
Decent Chinese food! I've been coming here for sunday dimsum for the past 5 years. Taste great, big portion, worth every penny!
H. K.
Delicious food and very prompt friendly service. Friendly atmosphere and was able to socially distance.
M. H.
Love the duck at wing tai would eat it every day but the price of it is expensive.
M. B.
Look, this is a simple Chinese restaurant. if you want great service then go somewhere else. If you want cracking food then eat here. A Malaysian friend suggested it and I was very impressed. We had Lobster with Noodles and this was quite enough for two! A delicious dish which I can highly recommend.
y. v.
An authentic Hong Kong style restaurant opens 7 days a week in the north west London.
A. B.
Lovely, tasty and authentic Chinese food. Definitely our favourite Chinese restaurant in London
A. L.
A touch of genuine China in London. Excellent food.
T. M.
Very nice food, good service.
O. P.
Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in London🤤🤤🤤🤤
S. J.
Although I have patronised the supermarket many times, I had not tried the Wing Tai. A Malaysian friend suggested it and I was very impressed. We had Lobster with Noodles and this was quite enough for two! A delicious dish which I can highly recommend. Look, this is a simple Chinese restaurant
E. S.
Super menu, wonderful service and truly a quality meal
From the standard westernised Chinese menu to classic dim sum and Chinese delicacies you can see why the majority of the crowd here is Chinese. With an attached supermarket you know the ingredients are fresh and plenty available.
Check the days of the Dim sum, as it's not just for Sunday.
N. L.
Dim sum for lunch is good but weekends is busy. Dinner here is great not rushed and more relaxed.
W. Y.
The menu has a wide range of dishes to chose from. Usually I go at lunch and order dim sum. The food is very good quality and is served very fast.
b. c.
The best Chinese restaurant you can find in london! Food was amazing ... And the market next door is super you can pick up great deals there !! Worth the travel to kort London
C. V.
Love this place. Fab service and food. Best dim sum!
K. G.
One of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants in north London. Their dim
Sum is incredible. Also can’t fault their seafood dishes. Service is generally very friendly (sometimes they rush you if they are busy). Best to go at lunchtime for a relaxing meal
D.
Fantastic staff and excellent food. Very traditional Chinese restaurant that offers pork bone and carrot broth and prawn crackers at the start and oranges at the end of an evening meal. It's the small details that make it authentic and a very enjoyable experience. It has all the character of a restaurant in China Town, without the inconvenience of traveling into Central London. If you go mid-week, it's not as busy and you truly feel very well looked after. Highly recommended.
O. C.
My favourite Chinese restaurant in the area. Service is rapid even at peak times and the food is high quality with large portions for very fair prices. My favourites are the Thai chicken claws, beef meatballs and char siu (roast pork) puff pastries.
T. P.
Go for the duck and green peppers in black bean sauce! Oh this duck is melting on my tongue! Best I have ever had!!
K. T.
Food standard is not very stable. The first time I visited, the dim sums were one of the best I've had in London. But second time I went during busy weekend, the food was not as great.
But in great location, next door to huge Chinese super market.
l. G.
Best place in London without and challenge....China Town is nothing .... wing too rules when it comes to atmosphere food and loverly polite amd happy staff. We even had the chef come out and speak with us one evening loverly staff hear.
H. w.
Good to visit if you’re shopping at Wing Yip, but wouldn’t be a first choice
A. M.
Great place, great food. Great price
s. l.
We had a lovely meal, when phoning to book a table staff were very helpful and friendly. Used to visit Beijing a few years ago a lot. We all thought tonight was a lovely meal, very tasty. Average portions. Waiters very helpful and order was perfect. Drinks not too expensive cold beer and good VAT. Not local anymore but would recommend to anyone.
P. S.
This place is fantastic, I often eat dim sum or have evening meals here. Awesome selection, really tasty food. Weekends super busy for lunch so go early!
Staff are always nice and friendly and recommend new awesome dishes to try and always great.
R. N.
Visited on a Saturday for dim sum. Got there at 12 noon; by 1pm it was full. The moral of the story: go early.
Dim sum was good and service was quick. Prices not so different from several other places in North West London.
The tables are better spaced out, so there is a bit more privacy. After your meal you could nip into the Chinese supermarket attached to the restaurant, which is well stocked and has wide aisles.
Parking is available in the underground car park. The restaurant is quite close to the Staples Corner roundabout, so getting to it if you are coming down the southbound carriageway on the A5 is a bit tricky. You have to do a U-turn onto the northbound carriageway and then a left to get in.
Y. C.
I come here for Dim Sum mainly. The standard of their Dim Sum is similar to those at China Town. Their service is OK, but can be better. They are very busy at Sunday lunchtime and you may have to wait a bit before you can get a free table. I think it is better to visit them during weekdays if you want to enjoy a good Dim Sum lunch!
S. S.
Constant cleaning. Tables more than two metres apart. Attentive staff. Our meal...all vegetarian was really very good
Fresh and tasty and no MSG taste anywhere. Will go again
S. D.
Fantastic authentic Chinese food. Mainly serves Chinese customers so it must be good. Dim sum at lunchtime is brilliant. Watch out for the automatically added 10% discretionary service charge as it"s not that clear in the menu. Then on top of that, if paying by credit card they then hand you a paper slip which has a option to add another 'gratuity'. Talk about cheeky.
C. L.
The restaurant is situated in the same building as Wing Yip the Chinese supermarket. A typical Chinese restaurant serving dim sum for lunch and good dishes for dinner. There's also a counter for BBQ meats suitable for any meals. During the week tend to be light in crowd. Weekend is when the crowd appears. When busy there is a ticketing system. Parking is plenty in the compound. Food is normally good. Dim sum selection is good and tasty. Ala carte menu has the usual favourites with the usual English type of fare and the proper Chinese cooking. That said, it did appear in the local papers, many years ago, for hygiene reason.
M. C.
Wing Tai!! My first visit here and I can confidently say I didn't regret it. The restaurant has enough room to swing more than a cat. The staff are attentive and super polite. The music's is relaxing and the food is excellent.
I will definitely be visiting again.
S. H.
This place is really good. My wife and I go there regularly. The food is excellent and freshly cooked (the reviewer who said it all comes from the Wing Yip supermarket freezers is so wrong). The service is quick and efficient. Be prepared to queue for 20-30 mins at the weekends for the Dim Sum lunches, but it is well worth the wait.
The roast duck and roast belly pork are the best.
L. T.
Very authentic Cantonese cuisine, a very big classic restaurant which can cater for weddings, birthday and other celebrations. Roast meat counter is definite- look out for suckling pig at the weekends. It can be busy during the weekend though so beware (and at times very loud happy birthday songs in the evening!)
H. C.
I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is great and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a gorgeous evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.
M. Y.
Love coming for dim sum here. Always very busy so make sure you find the lady with the raffle ticket to join the queuing system for a table. Food comes quick but you do need to find the waiters if you need something as they don’t come often to check how you’re doing.
D. S.
Good for lunch with dim sum
A. T.
we haven't been back in this restaurant for a long time , but decided to try there dim som on sunday ,was surprisingly good ,i love there lo sui duck ,it was excellent and there chef by the roast counter Three of us had the dim sum this Friday lunchtime and it was very enjoyable. As two of us were Chinese we had expectations regarding the food and we were very pleased indeed with all the 9 choices.
C. D.
Good food, but not always the best and efficient customer service. Also, came on a Sunday at one time and there was a huge crowd of people at the entrance. You had to get the attention of the person at the front of the house who was walking around trying to seat people so they could acknowledge that you wanted a table, other wise you would have stood and waited and not received a table - not very customer friendly or efficient, struggled to get their attention.
A. S.
This is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants and has been since it opened a few years ago. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, with attentive service and I had a bad meal there out of at least twenty visits. Twice recently I've told them we're in a hurry and to bring everything at as soon as possible and had a dozen different dishes on our table within, literally, ten to twelve minutes.
M. C.
Very good food, car park and good service, but a little bit expensive.
M. B.
Usually like this place but food was decidedly average this time. I know most of the staff don't speak very good English, and I'm OK with that, but they really don't seem to care very much either. I'd rather go to a smaller place where staff look like they are pleased to see you. At £70 for a modest meal for 3, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.
A. L.
Probably the best beef ho fun in the UK and the dim sum quite good as well. Unfortunately, we always have to wait around 30 minutes for a table. When we ask a waiter about the long wait times, they always say it is busy that particular day but we've gone there more than 10 times and always waited ~1/2 hour before being seated. So, I suggest you go earlier or later than peak times or be prepare for a wait.
m.
Family favourite this place ! Any birthday or special occasion we are here.
It's like the old school Chinese restaurant with the classics still done the old way so it all tastes amazing. None of this creative fusion nonsense just very good Chinese food .
Z. C.
This place has the best cheung fun in London! Good price and service too.
T. H.
One of the best Cantonese food I've tried. It was my parents anniversary me and my sister thought tgt PF Chang's a very famous American restaurant in Leicester Square, C London. but this time we went to this restaurant known as Wing Tai next to a type of warehouse shop called Wing yip. And we ordered egg friend rice and it was amazing. We also ordered greens. Im just gonna say imma come here regularly.
u.
One of the few places outside of central London where you can get good dim sum. A la carte is good too. Service is good most of the time.
G. L.
This is our go to restaurant for a casual dim sum along with some shopping at wing yip or sometimes we come here for cny or a family birthday. It is always busy and you generally have to wait around 10 minutes or so before you're seated. Great food, alright price. I took my boyfriend with me and both rubbish at Chinese, the waiter/gentleman was very understanding when we couldn't read the paper dim sum menu and provided us one with pictures.
A. D.
Really nice cantonese food and great use of social distancing. Not the highest quality food but good portions, and the decor was quite basic.
S. L. (. N. M.
Good services and decent taste foods.
C. I. T. C.
Amazing Chinese food! Great with a large group of 12! Service was great! Really impressed. Was a little hard to find. Decor was incredible. Set menu was great value for money! Hopefully be back soon :)
R. U.
Love this place. Busy at weekend lunchtimes but one of the best places in London for Dim sum. Service is good and food produced quickly. Easy underground parking. Supermarket is a bonus.
A. B.
The service is pretty typical for China, brusque and matter of fact. This place gets REALLY busy on weekends around lunchtime so be prepared for a queue (you get a number and they all out numbers when a table is ready). If you have a small group and go around 11 AM its fine but don't go around lunch if you have a large party.
J. l.
Seriously this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to there is also a oriental super market there including a oriental cafe that sells cooked Chinese food fried rice ect... until the restaurant opens. Both are bloody yummy especially special fried rice with bbq belly pork or duck Shenzhen sauce and finally salt and pepper prawns/squid.
V. T.
The best Chinese food and dim sum in London. Reasonable prices. Always busy, sometimes a long wait for a table, however its worth it! Been here many times.
A. S.
I selected the lamb leg with vegetables, toasted almonds. The dish was fabulous. For dessert, a slice of rhubarb and almond cake. I accompanied my meal with a glass of German Pinot Noir. Yum! My colleagues selected the entrees of half chicken, and the pork tenderloin, both were equally delightful.
C. C.
Nice big field with path around it to walk along and a small park in the corner for small children. Has 2 big free car parks. Nice park to do a junior parkrun. Clean and very open. Great for kids to run around. We came to Norman Park to do a junior parkrun.
K.
Been here many times in the past. Really not as good as previous. Food was ok, but not worth the price payed. Wide variety but lacking flavour. If looking for fine cuisine best to dine elsewhere.
D. T.
One of the best authentic Cantonese food and dim sum in West London and away from the City. Ample parkade spaces, and services are normally fast 🙂, depending on on how busy. Food is still comparatively cheaper than in City, Queensway, and those on Gerard Street (China Town). Been patronising this restaurant for years now.
J. H.
no doubt the most popular restaurant in North London. Get there by 11.30 or its a 20 min wait minimum for a table. Food is always great, super dim sum and duck is always fresh. Staff are over worked thus it's hard to get a smile or any service.
N. M.
Fabulous food great dining experience five 👌stars 🌟
S. A. N.
... ok ish, a bit pricey, customer service is hit and miss. the ambiance is fine, great decor but possibly a one-off. Reindeer Cafe next door was more informal but dishes are super tasty. prepare to share a table on busy hours. fun!
H. M.
I dont know what the bad reviews are talking about but ignore them all...I love it here, quick and friendly service. Delicious hot food arrived within 5minutes of ordering! Great if you want to try new and traditional chinese food...great dumpling. Chair sui bun is my favourite! Top marks!
B. R.
5 star food and service *****🥭🍍🍌🍋🍊🍎🥑🌽🥕🥔🍆🥝
B. D.
Good cantonese food, good roast meats like char siu and duck with decent portion sizes.
Covid safe, staff wearing masks and decent distance between tables. On table sanitisation posted for crockery for added customer's reassurance.
Not currently serving dessert and you need to book in advance.
K. P.
Nice little restaurant. Good was good but not exceptional. I've had better Chinese food at other places. The service could improve. Portions are well sized.
e. w.
The seafood stir fry noodle was soggy. We were disappointed.
The beef stir fry rice noodle (牛河) was reasonable up to the expected standard.
Chinese dim sum were fine.
M. K. M.
Great food, you walk in and the smell is mouth watering.
S. H.
Went to cafe rather than the restaurant.
Cafe shares same kitchen with restaurant and serves many of the same dishes as the restaurant. Good service and cheaper than the main restaurant. Only down side is that it closes earlier than the restaurant i.e at 8 pm. Other than the earlier closing, what's not to like?
M. M.
Excellent authentic dim sum. Busy on Sunday lunch, so aim to get there for midday latest. Handy for Chinese food and ingredients shopping in the Wing Yip hypermarket next door.
J. L.
Authentic cantonese food!
F. Y. C.
It's been there for a very long time and it's still very good. Dim sum and traditional Chinese dishes. Can host a Chinese wedding banquet. Gets extremely busy on Sundays.
J. V.
Really good food at reasonable prices. Ordered the 2 persons menu and the quantity was more than enough. The only thing is that the sweet and sour chicken was a bit too sweet.
T.
very very busy that their customer service deteriorated! Food came all separately and we had to keep reminding them of the missing food that really came 2 hours later due to the first waiter forgetting to order it. They couldn't handle many customers on Fathers Day. No remorse on staff either. We still paid for 10% SC nonetheless.
S. M.
Great Chinese always enjoy this place!
p. l.
Awesome authentic Chinese food, great menu and great service, recommend the crispy duck and BBQ pork with rice but they have set menue and a good selection of favourites. Reasonably priced and it has outside and underground parking but check access for the underground parking after the supermarket closes
E. D.
It's informal, full of families with people of all ages eating together with a lot of noise and hustle and bustle. Yes some of the staff are rude. And yes it's a no frills place. But it is really like being in a Hong Kong. And dimsum four 4 adults (14 plates - some two portions) and drinks) and one little girl who stuffed herself too was £60.
B. P.
Three stars for the food, horrible service ,impatient and rude waiter and mandatory service charge. The waiter wore male and wore graduated glasses. The elder waiter as always was really helpful if i'll come back i'll do only for this waiter not for the other who served us.
In additional was sunday not busy at all and the waiter forced us to take a set menu number 2 if i remember good saying it was busy all the day when in fact there was only around 5 tables.we were so disappointed.
C. e.
Lovely authentic Chinese food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Plenty of free parking spaces, good central location. I enjoyed it very much
R. A.
I have to rate this five star. The owner was such a fine gentleman and I always used to enjoy speaking to him about his life, his passions and also his classic rolls royce. RIP, he was a gentleman and really cared for his place.
M. K.
A nice place for dim sum and Cantonese barbeques!
A. F.
Lovely food and massive portions, staff aren't as attentive as one would like, but location and food is fantastic (they're also right next to an oriental bakery and supermarket)
D. V.
Delivered bang on time, with free wings and complimentary prawn crackers.
Prompt service, delicious food.
R. P.
Hugely popular with the Chinese community in the area. Amazing food and atmosphere. It also has a supermarket attached with great Asian products to try.

Good Chinese restaurant; fast service, good for larger groups
M. T.
Big Chinese restaurant attached to the Wing Yip supermarket. Lots of parking available and lots of tables.
Food quality is fine, but nothing amazing. Good for large parties.
P. R.
Excellent authentic Chinese restaurant with a wide selection of fresh dishes. The Dim Sum is particularly good. We've been 6 times and have yet to be disappointed.
M. J.
Best Chinese food, premium/restaurant price (for take away) but the quality is incredible
J. S.
It has a good selection of Dim Sum, the pan Asian staff are very friendly if you have a moment to talk to them.
J. H.
Vegetarian dim sum options a bit limited but what I did have was good. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
L. T.
So nice food, but ridiculous services. No thank you, so please, no please enjoy, service: 0. no taking care, no any service but serving food right in the corner of the table. Very racist between Asian and White people serving. Black people, I don't know yet.
C. B.
Food is OK, nothing to write about, staff and service is very poor. Prices seem higher than China Town. Dim Sum days are always crowded so get ready to wait a long time.
P. C.
Always pretty fast to get a table. Lots of choice, great dim sum as well as more traditional Cantonese.
S. A.
Delicious food and lovely people who work here. Very family orientated. Great value for wonderful dining ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
W. L.
Authentic cantonese food. The staff is amazing. They remember my taste, my preference of seating. This is one of my favorite local chinese restaurant
S. K.
Nearly always eat here when in the area. Really nice authentic food. Service good. Parking v. good.
N. S.
Food is consistent, staff are attentive, however lacks that certain something when compared to Chinatown and other Chinese restaurants I have been to.
K. T.
Decent Cantonese restaurant located in the Wing Yip supermarket complex, serving decent staples but good dim sum and above average roast meats.
L. P.
Busy restaurant on a Sunday. Staff are nice, friendly and efficient. Good food. Can reserve private room or areas of the restaurant for parties and other occasions.
L. G.
Even though the place was really crowded I did enjoy the food! Once you're there, try the duck! Amazing food at really good prices. Will be coming back for sure!
A. l.
Food was ok but abit over priced for what it was. The place had a nice atmosphere and layout. Service was good
A.
One of favourite restaurants. Good value for money.
J. G.
Food is very nice and not too pricy, but always busy for dim sum at weekend.
S. L. H.
Some staff are very friendly but some aren't. A star away for that., oh! and every time we go there, dim sum is finished. It's only 2:45pm!
K. C.
You're not exactly spoilt for choice if you want Dim Sum in this area but the food is good. Just be aware of the long wait times after 1pm on Sundays and bank holidays
L. L.
Great family restaurant delicious food always very busy on the weekends you must wait to be seated.
J. A.
Delicious food. Very good social distancing measures.
Y. R.
Excellent food. For Sunday lunch you need to wait for half an hour for a table. It is patronised by the local Chinese community.
K. C.
Great Chinese food. Quick service. Lots of tea etc. Would recommend. Great place for celebrating Chinese New Year!!
E. T.
good but pricey, £6-8 extra service charge :(
M. T.
Eat in restaurant fine. Takeaway food quality during lockdown period is terrible.
A. T.
Had dinner there not so long ago. This is a nice place to have dinner and it is big enough so that it doesn't feel too crowded.
C. F.
Not surprising that we had a long wait as it was very busy. The meals ordered were okay.

A. C.
Good good. Great food. can get very busy on weekend and take long time to get table.
T. W.
Our favourite for later night roast duck. We order the whole duck uncapped, not always an option.
A. H.
Food is generally good. Service isn't great though and often feels overly crowded. Go outside of peak time is my recommendation.
V. S.
This is a Chinese restaurant which is linked to a very big Chinese supermarket so if you want to shop and have a bite the food is good and there is underground parking.
B. T.
My favorite place to grab some dim sum. Although some of the staff come across as a bit rude I'm there for the food and the food is excellent.
