Every single staff member was friendly, the vibe was amazing because every customer I turned to look at had a smile on their face. The food was impeccable, I was treated so well that it made my evening which meant a lot because I had just come from work and to experience that type of care from a restaurant was unbelievable. The friend I took thanked me all night for bringing her to Yaz because she also said it’s the best restaurant experience she’s ever had in her life and we got to experience new food we’d never tasted before and the quality of the restaurant was insane. I can’t even begin to describe the mojitos we’ve had, best mojitos ever, I recommend the strawberry one! The presentation of the food was beyond amazing. I cannot thank Yaz enough for such an amazing experience ☺️

They fit us in without a booking. The food was stunning, one female waitress noticed that I had been given the wrong order so she discreetly corrected it, she was great. One male waiter hovered at my side and started taking our plates while I was still chewing food, I wasn't impressed. The music from a private party upstairs was so loud that it made polite dinner conversation impossible, everyone was shouting over the top of each other, even at the waiting staff.

Went here just for a coffee but was surprised by my friend as they came out for a birthday song for my daughter who was with us. Great staff everyone so friendly and welcoming. I have had lunch here before its amazing. Keep up the good work guys.

We took our dental team here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. All our requirements were catered to and the staff are so helpful and accommodating. The vibe is on point. Service was outstanding. Really nice place to go food food with friends and family. Nothing about the food blew me away but everything I had was all delicious none the less. 8.5 overall. Which is really high in my book. The live DJ is a nice touch! We had mains meals, a couple sides and 4 cocktails in total. Paid around £50 per head.

Staff were absolutely great. Food was OK. I had vegetarian kebab and the aubergines undercooked, for example. Maybe if I had had the chicken I'd have been happier. The person I went with was happy with their quesadilla. Good vibe in the place though.

Recently dined here with a group of friends. The prices are reasonable, service impeccable, the vibe is somewhat industrial and edgy. Could have used a more rounded design approach. The menu is rich enough to satisfy everyone. Spoke to the manager owner about possible improvements we spotted and were listened attentively.

The food was absolutely excellent, however the atmosphere was slightly strange. We were seated upstairs in a very dark area which we had to request for the lights to be turned on. The staff obliged but felt it necessary to repeatedly justify why the lights were purposely dimmed which made us feel as if we were wrong for asking. Secondly the music was incredibly loud, that it was hard to hold a conversation with the person across the table without shouting. At 6pm this seemed unnecessary and out of place within a restaurant.

I've been here a couple of times with different people and had experiences both good and bad. The food is really nice with currently only three vegetarian main courses to choose from for dinner. Everything is presented well and service is good. Would like to go back and try their brunch/lunch menu.

I booked a table through Quandoo. I was quite disappointed that the table was a table outside. It was very windy and about to rain. I have asked for a table inside as I didn’t mind to wait. Luckily there was Karile. She was looking after the bookings. Even though it was “Eat out to help out” day and she had to deal with 10’s of customers at once, she was extremely helpful, polite and attentive. I wish that other restaurants had staff members with this level of respect and amazing attitude. Once sat down inside we were served by Karim who was smiling all the time, radiating good mood to everyone around him. Starters and mains were great and interesting. The wait was long but this is fully understandable, it was very busy. There was a little twist to each plate (liver cut in a way I didn’t see before, lamb shank off the bone covered with greens). Everything was full of flavour and fresh. All 4 of us were happy with the food. The only thing I didn’t like were the deserts. Classics like Baklava and Kunefe should have been of a much higher quality in this kind of restaurant. Therefore I am recommending everything including venue, service, food, but not the deserts. Was our first time at Yaz restaurant. Although we didn’t have a reservation they still quickly managed to sort out a table for us. Staff was very friendly and attentive service. Food was 11/10 sooo tasty !!😋 And it had a good vibe. Will definitely come back again :) Thank you Yaz Restaurant

Beautifully decorated restaurant with great sitting areas inside as well as outside. Ever such a lovely place to visit! The food is absolutely outstanding, delicious and quite healthy too. I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of my food in this place. The staff are very nice, polite and helpful!! It is so close to the station and very well positioned and accessible to the whole area, community. Quite reasonably priced for lunch, which makes it great value for money. I totally recommend this place to everyone, as they cater for families with children, couples, business people and everyone is welcome!

It was my first time here. Impressive venue. Not what I was expecting in Highams park area. Also we parked in the Tesco car park which was very handy. 1. Starters Borek was very nice. We ordered the houmus because it sounded unique, with truffle oil and mushrooms but it tasted no different to any other houmus. Chicken wings went down weĺl with the children. 2. Mains Bizarrely they brought in the chucken shish for one person, while the remaining 5 of us had to wait about 20 mins for our food to arrive. The salmon was nice and came with loads of salad as well as the potato gratin. The star for me was the side of seasonal vegetables, a generous and wonderfully delicious surprise. The ravioli was very nice. Chicken shish was tender and juicy. 3. Desert We chose the baklava with icecream. Excellent. Well worth the calories. 4. Coffee was not very good although the presentation was charming. And they served my double espresso with cold milk instead of the hot milk I had asked for. 5. What really annoyed me was the awful music. Very loud thumping music which made it difficult to have a conversation with anyone. It felt like I was in a nightclub. Why would the restaurant think that anyone would want to listen to such hortible music while eating. If Covid 19 has not driven customers away, then the music will. I for one would not put myself through that again.

Visited this past weekend, and I am already looking forward to returning. We received such great customer service from the entire team, the manager, the waiters and waitresses, the door host.. everyone. And of course the food was great, especially the fact they have really good vegan options. Made with care and health in mind. Special thanks to Gina for being so lovely. I have become a regular guest of this elegant place. As a local resident, I have been never hesitated to bring my friends or organising occasional party in here. I can’t highly recommend grill platters and desserts( especially shredded phyllo pistachio topped with cinnamon ice cream)

It's a popular place for meat lovers thats for sure. It seems a bit pricey though and as an exemple when i took the mix grill dish on the menu it says mixture of lamb, chicken and köfte but when i ordered it i was asked to choose 2 types of meat. There was not much om the plate. Far more salad than meat! However the waiter was adorable and made sure that no one had allergy unfortunately i had already ate the bread and there was butter in there!!! I was told later..... So 2 days with very low energy and headaches...... Never mind..... Again what saves it all is the lovely venue with its staircase and good music with dj.... On the whole a very nice evening in a lovely location.

Very good and food is delicious yet organisation wasn't great. We had reserved a table and had to wait 10 minutes more than expected and when the waiter came to apologize for the wait he didn't know we had a reservation and was telling us the reason we had to wait was as people had reserved. Also we were constantly being asked by 2-3 different waiters and waitresses if we were okay and how our meal was which is understandably them trying to be tentative yet it was quite distracting when we were just trying to have a meal.

There seemed to be a staff issue at the begining. We had to ask several times for bread with starter, and did not receive our drinks until we were eating our main cause although they were ordered at the beginning of ordering our food. The food was good. The entertainment was a magician, who formed magic tricks with each person at a table.

Amazing food and service. If you're in the area and want delicious food in a great atmosphere it's a must. Also on a Saturday, live DJ upstairs which adds a different vibe to your standard evening meal out. Highly recommend the octopus which is the best I have ever eaten and I've eaten a lot of octopus. Also if you want red wine try the Okugozo you won't be disappointed!

This is a great restaurant with lovely food! It looks really good outside - it looks like it belongs in an area like Chelsea and Kensington! Very classy, upscale look. The food is very nice too and well presented. I had a very warm welcome from all in the restaurant - from the guy at the front, to the waiter and waitress! Took husband for his birthday and although it was a very quiet and snowy Tuesday evening so the place was empt we had a lively time. Food is different enough to attract foodies, the Octopus was cooked to perfection with 2 different kinds of sauce which really complimented it! Small plates are a decent size! Lovely service. I was invited by some coworkers of mine to this place and I found it quite nice. In general, it was seeming clean - even if I'd let check often the woman toilets. The food was good, but I got a bit upset about the chef. Since my pregnancy, I'm having problem eating some kind of ingredients; so when it came my turn to order I kindly requested to take off some onions and chilli peppers from the prawn pasta I was really wanting. As a waitress, I understand that there are some things can't be changed due to preparation stuff and this is not the real problem. The disappointing part comes to the answer I received back "the chef said the experience wouldn't be the same etc". Now, I thanks the waiter who gave me this soft reply because I can only imagine what the real response from the kitchen was; but let me say that as a customer I should be the one to decide how I want my experience as I am the one paying for the food you're cooking to me, so please don't come to me with these excuses. I'd rather have preferred an honest answer as "the kitchen is busy" or just "I'm afraid it's not possible" instead of these things because, I repeat, as a waitress I know that truly means. However, as I didn't want to create more complications to the guy serving us I just replaced my order with a beef burger that wasn't so bad even if I was expecting more from it. The only suggestion I would make to the waiters/waitress is to look a bit more after to the customers as my friends felt pretty ignored from them and had to call them several times for their requests. Personally, I wouldn't come back but maybe, my experience is just a result of a mix of bad coincidences. Amazingly nice the girl who seated us, who choose her did a great choice! She was really lovely!

I visited this restaurant for dinner with a group of friends and well everything was just soo good, we ordered a selection of starters and the majority ordered mixed grill which I must say was so so yummy, the meat was tender and we all loved the salad selection that came with the meals. I can't comment on the starters since it came with the main meal and no one actually ate any of it - which was a shame. The staff were really friendly and service was excellent. I would have given 5 stars if the table we were seated at had heated seating ( as advertised by them). Would definitely visit again, I heard the breakfast is pretty good too and can't wait to try it out 😋

Went here for the first time on Monday for our wedding anniversary. The staff were fantastic, the food was great and the cocktail was absolutely delicious. We can’t believe that we have left it that long before trying it out. Will definitely be making this a regular place to eat.

We had a large party,so this maybe unfair. I don't believe they observed any covid precautions, no hand gel, no wipes. We had food served swiftly but had to repeat requests for missing items. A quickly arranged family celebration meant we finally managed to get to Yaz in Signal Walk this evening and I have to say it didn't disappoint. The still relatively new Turkish restaurant was somewhere we had planned to visit before Covid 19 turned the world upside down in March 2020 and it has remained very much on our local "to do" list ever since. The staff were welcoming, efficient, friendly and attentive, the food and drink on point and the atmosphere was relaxed and postive. It is obvious that the owners and staff want to showcase classic Turkish/Mediterranean grill/salad/sides/desert favourites in an environment that reflects modern, diverse London and it works really well here. Everyone in our multi generational party left very happy and satisfied with our evening. Çok teşekkür ederim Yaz! We'll see you again soon!

I never really write reviews, but Yaz Restaurant certainly deserves one! I came here in the morning on a weekday to have breakfast with my family and I must say that I was very impressed. We had the Turkish Serpme and Mediterranean Breakfasts and it was fantastic – the aromas, the portion sizes and the presentation were all amazing. We were served by an incredibly welcoming and delightful gentleman, Mustafa, with whom we very quickly formed a bond with. I believe Mustafa made our breakfast even more enjoyable with his bubbly personality; he treated us with care and was always on the lookout if our Turkish teas needed topping up, if we needed any more food etc... he is certainly a role model to all restaurant employees! I can wholeheartedly say that Yaz Restaurant exceeded our expectations and we hope to return very soon with our friends and family! Thank you.

Usually most Turkish places taste the same, typical menu etc. BUT... This place completely took me back! Upon arrival staff were super attentive and friendly. Upstairs outdoor seating was lovely, although there’s a view of Tesco it didn’t bother us as it was 7pm and about 30degrees in July, and it was super lush! A crazy twist on traditional Turkish food, I opted for a healthy Aubergine dish with the yogurt. The Humous starter with chestnut mushrooms blew me away! Plating and service was spot on. 2 MAJOR highlights: 1) Kunefe Dessert with a twist; Hibisbus and Rosé syrup, instead of plain syrup, was anxious but worked really well of a fav dessert of mine 2) now this bit was crucial, the staff were so attentive, they understood culinary etiquette; we wanted to order our starters and then decide mains rather than order all in one go. They respected our space yet we’re still easily available. You would be surprised at how many places don’t understand a real dining experience. In total because it was such a nice evening we spent around 3 hours and tbh I could’ve stayed longer! YAZ RESTAURANT, WELL DONE!!! Will be back very soon!

Myself and my friend have visited Yaz Restaurant for the first time and our experience was great! There are two floors and a small terace, down stairs there is a front area with a dj. We felt as if we were on holiday :) The restaurant is very clean and beautifull, classy, it has a charming ambiance. I loved it. From the starter to the dessert the quality and taste of everything was delicious. The Lamb shish is without exaggeration THE BEST LAMB SHISH I have ever tasted... Both myself and my friend ENJOYED every single bite of our meal. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Hospitable hosts, staff are professional, friendly, polite and knowledgeable, they made us feel welcomed. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself by going to this AMAZING restaurant. Welldone to the team, excellent ! ;)

Really enjoyed our family meal. Slightly more expensive than one would hope for but food quality was very good. Yesterday we made our 2nd visit to Yaz, hadn't booked and as we arrived the venue was packed, but we were able to be seated immediately which was great. Inside has a really great atmosphere, authentic look and a real buzz. Staff are very attentive and helpful, even when they were so busy. Food is fantastic, great selection of hot cold starters and the meat on the shish is so tender and tasty. Big thumbs up for the wine list too. Chatted to Yaz the owner who is always busy serving people and clearing tables but takes time to meet all his guests which is great to see from an owner. We have already booked again for next week and can guarantee we will be back many times again.

Had a lovely meal here last night. Tasty food, good service and friendly staff who work really hard. I hadn't eaten liver since childhood, but decided to have it as a main here, and it was really tasty. That's what this restaurant is about, difference and originality. Our daughter was with us and also enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere (and cocktails!). Will definitely revisit.

Great food, but I don't think they understand or maybe just don't agree with the social distancing rules. Tables still next to each other. Staff over the tables. Same menu's used again and again. Why wear the gloves? makes absolutely no difference and isn't in the guidance anyway. Maybe washing hands would be more beneficial?

I have visited this restaurant a few times since it has opened and I must say that I am enjoying it more and more every time! The food is of very high quality with a touch of Turkish to it. I think people make the mistake of coming in thinking it is a typical Turkish restaurant with lots of kebab when it is in fact not. This is the reason why people think the prices are too high, when this is not the case. You can find kebab in lots of restaurants but the will not find the quality that Yaz presents. All of the staff are lovely, very welcoming and always smiling- excellent customer service. A lovely vibe in here and something different. Keep it up Yaz!

Great decor. Stylish. However food leaves lots to be desired. I feel yes it's unique in some ways but trying to hard. Plus overpriced!. £17 for lamb shank with mash and beetroot jus. Lamb could have been softer. Salmon was a hit with some of my party. The starters were small. The prosecco took ages to chill and at nearly £31 a bottle is a tad pricey. Of the table of 6 not one person ordered a dessert (who often do) which says it all. Hopefully there's still just issues to iron out. Some classic Turkish/ mediterian foods work, don't fix what isn't broke!

The restaurant is a welcome addition to Highams Park, however, I do feel like it is missing a trick or two. The inside is fantastic, lovely decor and comfortable seating. The (expensive) menu however, leaves a lot to be desired: 1) I do not understand why there is no meze on the menu? They have "sharings" instead which I overheard a waiter say were bigger than your traditional meze. I feel like a meze option would be a welcome addition. Stuffed vine leaves (dolma), baba ghanoush, cacik (tzatiki), brined roast peppers, olives with feta cheese etc are all great appetisers. 2) The waiter bought us over a small plate of salad as a compliment from the restaurant. Again, why not bring over some meze? Instead it was a very dry and very bland mix of vegetables. 3) I ordered the kofte which was 3 or 4 small pieces of meat on a slice of bread with some sauce. This was overshadowed by the huge gem lettuce leaves packed in with even more vegetables. Again, very dry and very bland. 4) Why is there Penne on the menu? Just because you put in aubergine and some shaved walnut doesn't mean it's a "quintessential Turkish kick". I'm giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. It only opened recently and there is a lot of potential for it to be a hit in Highams Park.
