This is place is gem, I visited this place back in October and it was a stroke of luck, the food was absolutely delicious, I know my way around Dalston but had missed this opening. The owner was so attentive and lovely, we had such a gorgeous brunch, the food was brilliant. The new approach on middle eastern food is a breath of fresh air, as a middle eastern myself I can say the execution is on point, the food is perfect. We were also given complimentary dessert, which was very lovely. Going back for sure!

We had an absolutely gorgeous meal in this restaurant! It not only looked beautiful, but tasted beautiful too. I had an aubergine dish with some rice, which was gluten and dairy free. It was heavenly. Even the chips we ordered to share alongside our meals were incredible! I will certainly eat there again if I am in the area and get the chance.

Absolutely delicious! Tried a selection of their veggie dishes and couldn't pick a favourite as they were all amazing. Finished with a warm baklava which was the perfect way to end. Service was great too and prices are fair. Highly recommend.

This place has a nice buzz about it, it's busy but not packed. I had a lamb stew with rice which was delicious, and a Shepherd's salad, also very tasty. I washed this down with a nice glass of white wine. The owner is very friendly and talked me through her multicultural menu. I will definitely come again if I'm in the area.

I would highly recommend it as I have been going to this little nice restaurant weekly for the past six months. In fact I tried almost all the dishes and many of them twice! However, you should especially taste the homemade mezzes made by the lovely owner. Great ambiance, delicious food, very friendly staff. If you like Middle Eastern cuisine, you should definitely go to Zer.

We tried their food with a few friends. As a brand new place for two days, we were surprised at the quality of their food. The staff are very cute and friendly. But really the food has an unforgettable taste. And yet the prices are quite affordable. We loved so much. A place that will definitely be our favorite place.

What a WONDERFUL place! My partner and I visited Zer for a late lunch and we cannot express how happy we are that we found this place. We have eaten A LOT of Middle-Eastern food and this was definitely one of the best. The menu was so exciting and we cannot wait to try more! the food was absolutely beautiful and great value for money. We ordered the falafel wrap and pumpkin with yoghurt dish, which were both tasty and cooked perfectly. The wrap was crispy on the outside and packed with flavour. We were also given some AMAZING deserts which satisfied my sweet tooth. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully with a lovely bathroom. Although we were there during the day, we can imagine that the restaurant is beautiful on an evening and has a lovely atmosphere. The ceramic plates and bowls were gorgeous and lovely to eat from. By far the best thing about this place are the people. We were made to feel extremely welcomed and were well looked-after during our visit. Although we did not get her name (we are guessing she is the owner), the lady who served us was so lovely and we left feeling so happy and grateful to have stumbled upon this place. Anyone in the dalston area should not hesitate to pay this place a visit. It is the perfect place to have a coffee whilst working, have drinks and meze with friends or go for a lovely lunch like we did. As promised, we will be back and soon as possible and we will bring more people with us/ spread the word. Thank you again and look forward to visiting again. Alex and Niall.

This food is fantastic. I wanted to try something authentic but not Turkish. Zer didn't only disappoint but surprised me with the delicious food and presentation. If you go there, you have to try the chicken and yoghurt, lamb and spinach. I will definitely go back to try other dishes; or, simply, ask to the staff to surprise you. Smiley staff excellent service. So, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our first restaurant visit after a long COVID lockdown brought our group of bubbles to this newly opened modern mixed Turkish-middle eastern eatery in the middle of buzzing Dalston. We enjoyed every dish honestly served by a group of super friendly Middle Eastern ladies who made us feel warm welcoming as if we were eating at someone’s home. We’ll be back soon to enjoy more of this delicious new hot spot.

Truly delicious!! Simply amazing food - full stop. And such a good addition to what is a wealth of otherwise mostly Turkish restaurants nearby. We actually thought this place might also be Turkish but were pleasantly surprised when we saw the menu, which seems to have more Persian or Afghan influences. A true delight! We’ll definitely be coming back, and often.

A great find. Eat here posthaste. The food is deeply tasty as well as very inventive -- an ingenious blend of Levantine, Persian and North African flavors -- and the head chef and hostess is a delight. It's also very reasonably priced for the quality and presentation and the location is ideal.

Every dish was tasty and interesting especially the pea mint and zatar one from the cold starter list. sitting inside with doors open into the buzzy dalston thoroughfare have a good balance of atmospheric conversational dining and the dalston vibe going on just outside.
