Been there many times, I used to go there regularly back in 2005-6ish when they used have sheesha, before smoking ban. Place used to look grotty as hell, but one thing, their grill chicken was something else, absolutely delicious. Been there recently couple of times and I’m happy that they maintained same quality on their grilled chicken and the place has improved a bit so all good. Highly recommended for food but don’t expect Michelin star restaurant service, other that all good and will return again.

Once upon a time, this used to be a restaurant and shisha place. More shisha than food really. As times change, the shisha has gone, and it is all about the food. They serve turkish style and indian dishes. The mixed shawarma is lovely. The chicken kofte is very nice too. I love the chilli sauce. Based on the busy Green Street. Seats around 35 people. Fake Turkish food. Rice is bland and includes lawang which is so weird. Mixed grilled meat was oily and contained loads of chopped chilli. Chips were nice though.

The best grilled chicken I've tasted. Normally not a chicken person, but this will be the only place I'll eat chicken from. The sitting area is a bit run down. But ppl go there for the food. Either the boss doesn't have a clue about business management and marketing or he simply lacks vision.

First, let me say I love shawarmas. I've had them in many restaurants and even had them in whole world. This tasted nothing like any shawarma I've ever had. I'm not particularly a big fan of hummus so the sauce in this meal really turned me off and infact made me gag. Besides the sauce, the chicken came out great except for there was too much of something in the juicy and rich taste that over powered the entire flavor. If you want something interesting, try this. If you want shawarma, then there is no other place like ZU's

The restaurant is value for money and we had our lunch. The Chef has burnt out the meat too much. The portion is generous but they need to be more careful so the meat is not overcooked or burnt. We also tried chicken which is bit dry.

It’s quite busy with a desi twist to the Turkish food. The place is quite busy even in the night and is open until late night like 3 in the morning. The wait is a bit longer but the food is quite decent. I like their chicken shawarma anytime as it tastes quite fresh and properly cooked. At least better than the major brands in the vicinity who have their brand name as a doner place.

A well established place with a tried and tested menu that is value for money. It could do with a bit of modernisation but I like the old school feel of the place. The only because is that they don't always have their shawarma ready or there is a long, more than half an hour, wait for it with I don't understand why. Best place on Green Street to eat grilled chicken. Steak chips are delicious, especially with Zu's chilli and mayo sauce. Staff are great. Prices are amazing (can feed 3 people for around £15). Would highly recommend if you're on Green Street.

Zu's was recommended to us by a friend. Although I was quite sceptical about going there, I was proved wrong. Even though it is small, the food is mouthwatering and tasty. The wait for the food was quite long and we had to ask for cutlery and plates, other than that, nothing went astray! We had ordered mixed grill and it consisted of grilled wings, half a chicken, lamb and chicken kebabs, lamb chops aswell as chicken donor. The chicken was juicy and not dry whatsoever. The chilli sauce that is served there is absolutely delicious and we also took some home! If you ever go to Zu's, be sure to order the pomegranate juice with basil seeds, it's so refreshing and you'll want to order more! I recommend this restaurant to everyone

Excellent food. The whole family looks forward to the food every weekend. We travel from over 5 miles away. But the food is worth it. Personally we believe this is the best food place to eat in Green Street. Have tried others within the same area but nothing comes close. I have even bought my colleagues from work and they loved this place.

Just went there to order zu’s all in 1. The 4 star rating is for ( 1 Star )good quality and tasty food. (1 Star )Food was served fast and efficiently. (1 star )Staff and owner were friendly. (1 star ) The toilet actually had tissue which most places dont! However, The hygiene rating is not displayed, I asked about this and they said 3* rating. Also, The food is a bit pricey but its good for a one off treat here and there... See you again in two weeks or a month ;)

We were recommended this place by a friend. The place is a casual dining but food is really Mediterranean cuisine and authentic arabic food. Especially their chicken shawarma and grilled chicken was amazing. They were quite busy at Iftar time so food took extra 10 minutes to come but it was delicious. Amazing place to eat if you love meat. There is an English saying, "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover" .....which was probably written by the guy who came to this shop. It might not be the most elegant place but the food is somewhere out of this world. It's a must try if you like food.

We booked 12 people table here at Iftar time. The Iftar was free and the also served free drinks. The only thing service was bit less what we expected but i understand they were also busy with other customers due to Fast opening time and we booked our table just before iftar. We were recommended this place by a friend in East London. I must say their Grilled chicken, Shawarma, Lamb kebabs were excellent and very fresly made juicy. Also would like to add their chilli sauce as it was amazing and i never had this kind sauce before. We really appreciated the owner who was at counter that he served us very well also he gave us free Kulfis at the end. Definitely recommend this palace to new visitors as their food is really fresh and healthy. We will come again on our next visit in East London.

Zus London is something different with amazing food in East London. We really recommend their Chilli Sauce its something really unique and mouthwatering you cant just stop eating. Zu's may not look much on the outside and when you go in the decor is not great. However the food is on point, best grilled chicken and lamb kebabs. The price of the food is extremely reasonable and it's open till 3am.

Located in the front portion of Green Street, it can be missed in the mire of restaurants and similar outlets in its vicinity. What it's exterior lacks in pizzazz, however, is made up in its food. For consistency of quality it is the best restaurant on green street. Whenever you visit, you can garuntee the food will be top quality. They serve a nice selection of grilled food, my favourite being the Sheesh Kebab and the Grilled Chicken. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the decor is warm and family-like. A definite recommendations!

A rare find and the healthiest food in London! The food here is delicious, fantastic value for money and the staff are on the ball! We ordered a mixture of dishes and could not rate the food highly enough, everything came out promptly, hot and cooked to perfection (A big task as there were several of us) . Always always always on point! Been eating here since 2003! Never a bad meal! Their chili sauce is the best in London! By a million miles! I have no idea how they make that chili sauce but I'd pay good money to buy it! Staff are friendly. The shop does need a bit of a clean! But hey, it's been like that for years! All in all, their steak meals (lamb and chicken), their burgers, quarter pounder and half pounder, their kebab rolls, their chips, basically everything they do is amazing. Would definitely recommend 😊👍🏼

This Asian Indian restaurant is great for in store eating as well as take away. They have the usual Indian food such as lamb donor and chicken donor and kebab rolls but others also and lots of different Asian drinks and desserts. This place usually gets crowded at night and there is not parking on Green Street but parking on the side roads. The shop is located on the beginning of Green Street so away from the hustle and bustle. They also sell salads, rice dishes and lentil dishes. I am not sure if they do home delivery. Their food is priced cheap and is slightly sometimes hot but you can ask for it mild.

Ordered online food delivery from Zu's Eat London. They are HMC Halal certified restaurant. The rider was on time, there was little confusion about finding our hotel but food was ok. Especially Hot Dog and Grilled Chicken with their best chilli sauce. Recommended.
