Came here a tried the 2 courses for £10 and was pleasantly surprised after going to another beefeater and having a bad experience. Restaurant was extremely clean both inside and out, friendly staff and our oder came out quickly. Tasty, sizzling hot food for a good price! I will definitely be returning.

Food was excellent, can't fault it. However, blue badge parking bays are at the front of the building while the step free entrance is at the back of the building and not clearly sign posted. Impossible to walk the distance from parking bay to step free entrance. This clearly needs a rethink, the disabled bays should be positioned by the step free entrance and clearly sign posted. Staff and meals can't be faulted though, highly recommend.

Sorry I have had to remove 1 star. Have eaten in here for years and have generally always been very happy with the food and service. Had a meal this evening which was fine and staff were very nice but when I arose from my seat, I was very surprised to see what I had been sitting on(please see attached photo). The staff here all work extremely hard, a bit of head office management support /training along with building TLC would not go a miss. Please be aware Beefeater have had some unbeatable deals over the summer months as an example any two main meals for £12, yes that's correct. Update 27/09/2022 Please see last photograph for new house white wine very fruity and quite pleasant. Had a great meal (probably one of the best we have had in the Sir Thomas Wyatt , hopefully if we get a similar experience I will increase the star rating.

Lovely building, with a good size car park. Disabled access. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. £9.50 for an unlimited cooked breakfast, with continental buffet. Well worth the money, with lots of choice, from juices, tea, coffee, cereal, toast, crumpets, croissants, selection of spreads, fruit, yoghurts etc. To top it off, kids eat free! Family friendly. Will be visiting again.

The overall service was very good, the 4 of us enjoyed the look and taste of our chosen meals, the only issue was that the food was tepid at best for 3 of us. I have seen other reviews on here complaining about tepid food. I would definatly eat there again, but I would certainly send my food back next time if its as cold as it was before.

Great food. Went for a roast, not too bad. If you like a lot of stuffing on your plate you'll be a bit disappointed. Just one golf ball sized ball of stuffing. Other than that, a decent meal. Friendly staff and good drink.

food in the evening was really nice and derseves at least a 4. The staff were fantastic esp Joe. Unfortunately the breakfast was a major let down esp for my 11 year old daughter who can't have milk. Having seen the allergen book She wanted scrambled eggs without milk. Didn't think it would be that difficult. I do it at home. How can you expect anyone to eat the eggs that my daughter was served Let alone a child with an intolerance? Disgusting Why was it allowed to leave the kitchen like that?

Nice. Cant really add more then that. Day time meal deal was a bargain, had to send the chicken from the curry back as they tasted crunchy 😳....not sure if it was microwaved. Everything is basic, my daughter liked the chicken wings but wasn't crazy on them....I'd go back for a pudding and a drink but nothing else wise. Staff were friendly and the restaurant felt cozy (even if windows are old worn wood frame, they feel like they're open with how much draft came through!) Overall nice.

Overall the food was of good quality but the bread which came with the prawn cocktail was hard and curled up, it was replaced but by a slice straight from the freezer, therefore not a hope in hell on spreading the butter. The red wine was also far too cold for serving. The staff working in front of restaurant were very courteous and accomodating to our needs but I think behind the scenes attention is needed.

1st time having Christmas Dinner out. Karen our waitress was exceptional we were amazed at how busy it was but Karen was attentive and full if smiles. Took parents out to lunch on the 4th September, no problems with the food we had lots of choice on the menu, but many dishes not available for some reason. We thought the value was expensive over only two courses. I think around 20% more expensive than other street brand pub / restaurants, Could be the reason for not many people in the restaurant at peak time.

A very friendly staff and super nice atmosphere to hangout with family or friends.Food is not very pricey. But equally the quantity is not much either. One platter/menu item should be filling for one person. The taste is really great. There is one item (Chicken with the mushroom sauce) which was the best among the 6-7 items we ordered. Would definitely suggest it.

Super Carol! The best waitress I've ever come across. Friendly, efficient, and super human to keep calm on a busy service. Taken to our reserved table by a smiling man, (sorry I forgot your name),who took our drinks orders. Food and drinks presented promptly, always asked if we needed anything else, if we were happy etc. Our food was hot and value for money. We had the meal deal so three courses and two drinks came to just under £30, a real bargain. The table ,and areas clean and tidy. But the outstanding service, friendly welcome will be the thing that would encourage to return if in the area. Carol is a treasure, so Beefeater treasure her.

Staff were great, very accomodating and frinedly to our children. However, a dish we ordered was disappointing so had to go back (the server said it wasn't right!) We were waiting a while for just a sharer and a kids meal. The kids main meal was quite generous but arrived well after our sharer had been finished. Also the floor was covered in what looked like lunch times party leftovers so felt a bit like we just stuck out the back bit in the unloved area.

We drop in to the Sit Thomas Wyatt from time to time. We like the varied menu and the very reasonable rates, particularly before 6.30pm. The food always seems to be good and we have often remarked on the efficiency and friendliness of Carol, one of their very long serving waitresses. Popped in on the off chance there would be a table for 3 , for Sunday Lunch. I was greeted by a friendly and pleasant manager, who was helpful and offered a table right away . We each ordered the vegetable Wellington , which was beautifully cooked as were the veg, Yorkshires and roast potatoes . Good portion size and great value for money . The service from the waiter was polite and nothing was to much trouble , Even when I had difficulty using the card machine to pay for the meal. In all, a relaxing and enjoyable time

What a long wait we had for our dinner today. It was at least an hour. Food was good however the portions are not enormous. I had steak and thick cut chips all 10 of them. If I had not had a starter then I would probably left the restaurant hungry. 2 in the company had salmon which was a good potion and very well cooked. 1 in the party had lamb rump and none of us could believe the small portion he was served. The lamb consisted of 5 pieces that would have fitted in palm of your hand. That was very disappointing and we all had to share some food with him because of his meager portion. The lamb cost around £14 but actually the portion served was only worth about £8.

Sadly let down this time. Went back with friends 1st November. Having decided what we were having we were then told that wife's starter choice was not available. Was not overly impressed by the look of potatoes with the scallops on friends starters. Had good old fish & chips for main, sent it back because my mushy peas were old and cold. On getting my meal back then realised chips were just warm. Friend said that here broccoli was old and woody. Waitress was fairly new to job and tried her best, polite and friendly.

We had a 2 night stay at the Premier inn, very clean and staff very accommodating. We dined, Friday evening, had breakfast Saturday morning, returning in the evening for dinner, and again on Sunday. All food was tasty and well presented. Advised to book as restaurant get very busy. Restaurant staff Carol, Toni and Laura along with the manager Charlotte, work non stop! They are all very efficient and helpful, nothing was a bother. Had a long wait at the entrance for someone to come over. It looked as though they were short staffed as we were repeatedly told "one minute". Once someone did arrive we were told they had stopped accepting tastecard (although their website and tastecard etc. said the opposite). As we then considered leaving due to the lack of tastecard we were offered a 40% discount. Once seated everything went smoothly and our food was as to be expected for a beefeater. One of the group visited another Beefeater in the following days to find that they accepted tastecard no problem so not sure if this was a global beefeater policy or just and individual branch policy.

Disappointed with the presentation of the Dom steak pie main course. The very little portion of mashed potato was invisibly hidden under the pie and the gravy was not in a jug but had already poured around the plate, not what I am used to and will not have again. All you could see was the pie and a spoonful of vegetables surrounded by the gravy. My brother had baked beans instead of vegetables which was just a very small spoon size measure. Standards are slipping in this place and not what they used to be.
