Great dining experience in this restaurant. Happy and friendly staff who were very accommodating with special requests. Pleasant surroundings. Food was to a high standard. If you like your food hot it's worth letting them know when you order because the curries were not as spicy as other venues. One of our group is a wheelchair user which was not a problem for access and disabled toilet. I have dropped a star because the flush in ladies toilet was not working.

Had an absolutely brilliant meal at The Spice Hut tonight! Fantastic fresh authentic food, brilliant service and all at a very reasonable price! Brilliant all round!

Staying down in Maidstone but no food or bar in the hotel so it's a takeaway week and this was a good find on Google Maps. Chicken Dhansak, Pilou Rice, onion salad and a Naan for £10-70, bargain. The Dhansak was just spot on, sour and hot with a lovely deep flavour and aftertaste. Good portions too, possibly meal for 2 if you just want a quick bite. Only slight let down was the Naan was a bit cold but not a massive problem. Would recommend this place.

The spice hut was my go to curry restaurant when I lived in the area years ago. I had my first takeaway from here for a long time this weekend and I can honestly say it's still the best curry house I have been to. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend

I come to this special place every couple of days since I like the good mood that is part of this restaurant. The crew is awfuly friendly and experienced. The service is impressively rapid. Had a really lovely evening, we booked before hand , although we arrived slightly early but our table was ready. Given social distancing we were all seated apart, and felt extremely comfortable. Our appetizer arrived in good time , we never felt rushed , our mains arrived piping hot , beautifully presented and every dish was beautiful, would reccomend a visit . We'll be dining again very soon.

For 12 years I’ve eaten at the Mughal Dynasty, but over the last few months the food and the service has gone downhill, so we decided to try the Spice Hut. I can honestly say that you couldn’t ask for more! The service was excellent and all the staff members were happy, attentive and chatty. The food was piping hot and the flavours were exceptional, a really nice experience. The restaurant was clean and the table was big enough for all of our dishes. Plus the food was very reasonably priced. All in all our experience was a definite 10/10 I would recommend the Spice Hut to anyone looking for a really decent Indian meal.

Chicken tikka masala Curry was very good and the plain boiled rice too,mushroom baji was good but onion baji was dry so not so good, Chapati was good & also the poppadoms I would definitely go again but maybe not ordering the onion baji

Twice I've eaten here this week. Very tasty food and reasonable value. Portion sizes quite small but if you have starters, main and dessert there is more than enough. Don't have Indian cardoman tea which is unusual but they have a good bar with both Kingfisher and Cobra beer as well as all the other usual stuff. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Can be slow but they are busy which is a good sign you getting freshly prepared food and not just reheats. Try it

The food is delicious and the service is amazing! I tried a papadum with four different sauces, going from sweetest to hottest, and they were all great. Also, I had the chicken achari and it was awesome. I thought it was going to be very hot but it was decently between mild and hot. Be careful with allergies, as some of the dishes contain nuts and other ingredients. The place is in the corner, but parking is fairly easy to find in this area of Maidstone.

The waiters were exceptional, food presentation was amazing and you could still hear it sizzling once it got off the heat. Tables were decorated nicely and a really nice clean restaurant! The food itself was delicious too so I recommend you go there!

We have eaten here a number of times and the food has always been very nice. The only problem is the service, it is very slow and trying to get drinks was always a problem. I believe it to be the takeaway service taking priority. We do keep trying it in the hope that the service is better as the food is really good.

Went as a group of 15 for a birthday. Food was delicious and service friendly, large variety on the menu and a nice atmosphere. The two dining rooms means there's plenty of seating without it feeling too crowded or noisy.

Went here for a work meal with 20 people, and they could accommodate all of us. Was a bit cold even after being there for 3 hours, and a few mistakes were made with our order. Food quality was very good and piping hot. Will be going back in the future

First time using spice hut. And must say the taste is amazing. Got a complentery poppadom and delivery was bang on time. The only thing I would say is the chicken was very dry so sadly I couldn't finish my meal, the coconut rice was amazing and the pershwawi nans were so tasty!! And full of sweet coconut. I would defiently use again if you invest in some moister chicken maybe cut the chunks abit smaller?

Really nice food.. have been working in the area for a few weeks now and have tried a number of Indian restaurants in Maidstone. The Shamrat was recommended by a number of people but I can honestly say the food at spice hut is by far superior.. this is the only Indian restaurant I have returned to on multiple occasions now, and intend to for the duration of my work in the area...

Gone a bit downhill over the months. Takeaways have been fairly tastless with curry /chilli powder shoved in. Plus a dodgy stomach the next day / feels like a hangover. Adding way too much msg. It's OK if youve had a skin full before hand otherwise spend the rest extra in the shamrat

We have a little idea about Indian cuisine, and we knew more or less what to order, however, the waiter recommended almost everything, so we ate what he wanted :) :) Amazing treatment, amazing food and affordable price, definitely highly recommended. If we have the chance, we will come back for sure. (Original) Simplement, brutal. Tenim una mica d'idea de la cuina hindú, i sabíem més o menys que demanar, tot i així, el cambrer ens va recomanar gairebé tot, així que varem menjar el que va voler :) :) Tracte increïble, menjar espectacular i preu assequible, sense dubte, molt recomanable. Si tenim l'oportunitat, tornarem segur.
