Haven’t left a review for a while due to all this Covid rubbish, but was staying near the Trafford Centre and wanted somewhere decent to eat. This place came up with glowing reviews on Google and I can see why. When we got there - the first Tuesday in January - I expected the place to be empty as no-one normally goes out then or has any money! Instead, it was full and we had to wait a little while for our table, which was no problem at all. The staff were extremely friendly and the place had a nice warm feel to it. We started with the popadums and pickle tray and there were some tasty dips so we hung onto them for our starters! We shared a mixed starter of chicken tikka, lamb tikka, onion bhaji, tandoori drumstick and a sheek kebab. This had been plated up so we had one each of everything which was good. All the starters were so tasty but the onion bhaji was exceptional. A lot of the time they can be very stodgy but this one was very light, had lots of grated onion in it and was held together by the lightest of batters. The chicken puri with garlic starter was also excellent. We over ordered as were extremely hungry when we came in! For mains we had chicken roshni and another chicken dish whose name I can’t remember but it was a spicy dish with a yoghurt base. Both were amazingly tasty, not greasy at all and full of delicate flavours. The naan was exceptional too, and the onion fried rice was lovely. Even the chips - which we really didn’t need - were fresh, hot and crispy. Overall, a great meal, venue and staff also excellent. I felt compelled to leave a review as if it wasn’t for other reviewers I would probably have never found this place, so I hope this review adds to the list of people who have enjoyed it!

Dinner with wife and son. All "experienced" Indian food eaters and we all had excellent experiences! No prior reservation but quickly welcomed and shown to a nice window table. The wating staff notice the low sun in our eyes and lowered the blind - no need to ask! Good, wide ranging menu with some dishes none of us had seen previously; had lots of the usual dishes so we each found something to suit. All the dishes arrived in a timely manner and were hot, with delicious aroma setting us up to eat before we even tasted the food. All the portions were large, tasty and spiced as we expected. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, just the occasional "is everything satisfactory". All in all, a good experience of a great restaurant - we will be back to try some of the new to us dishes. 05/10/2022 Another visit. Same excellent service and food. Really pleasant staff but not too pushy. Highly recommended. 08/12/2022 Good meal with my son - usual high quality food. Service was a little "off" - we could not get poppadoms before ordering our starters and main courses! As most people do, we like to look at the menu while munching on poppadoms but alas, not allowed!

Having ate there before had a very nice meal , quality of food was above average. Pity that our last pre booked and confirmed curry night had to be hurriedly move to a less quality establishment when the party was moved upstairs. We specifically confirmed seating on the ground floor as my friend and l are mobility impaired and cannot navigate stairs. Which l see as an accessibility issue. As we had a sizable booking over 10 people it was and will be in the future a considerable loss to the business.

Very enjoyable experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted like old friends and made to feel welcome. The service is attentive without feeling rushed and the food is amazing. The set starter for four was great. Freshly made, bursting with flavour. The jaflongi dish we tried was very well, put together. Very nicely spiced with a balanced flavour. Every spice used complimented each other to make a mouth watering dish. We were a party of four and each of our mains was great. Definitely recommend and we will be going back again

Ordered our curry from here on Friday night, said would be half hour, got there in the half hour, went in to find the floor all marked out for our safety. Our food was ready and a bottle of wine was found inside the bag, the food we ordered was fantastic, spot on and tasted lovely jubbly. We've always gone here but due to the pandemic we've not been since it started, so we were really looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint us. Definitely would recommend the Adrak.

Lovely food, fantastic, friendly staff and a very pleasurable evening. Went here for a meal for my dad's 73rd birthday. Not only did they make him a custom curry as he doesn't like much spice, but they heard me wish him happy birthday and brought over a lovely surprise birthday cake without even being asked, followed by free shots at the end of our meal, including a non-alcoholic one for my heavily pregnant partner. Again, without even being asked - they simply knew! Can't fault that level of service! The food was all lovely too. Highly recommend this place.

The only thing upsetting about adrak is that i didn't visit sooner! The chicken madras and king prawn jalfrezi was fantastic. Tasty, very nice size and well constructed. The chicken chilli chat was was delicious, not overly salty like other places and had actual flavours. I'm glad theres a place so close to home producing such quality of food! The staff were polite, professional and very welcoming. Food 10/10 Customer service 10/10 Card payment ✅ Feedback - personally, i would have liked extra garlic on the Nan bread. Will 100% be returning and reccomending to friends and family. Can’t wait to go for a sit down meal once this corona gone 😋.

Always busy but they will always do their best to get you a table. Service is speedy and accompanied regularly with light but not overbearing humour. Loads of variety on the menu and these guys are flexible if you want any dish adjusting to your liking. You will not find better in this area. Great food, great price and excellent specials deals. Had a few meals here via the take away facility but its only when you dine in can you appreciate the quality of the food. Staff are great. Helpful, and willing to take time out to answer your questions. Its does get busy in here, especially at the weekends so book a table well in advance. Only gripe I have and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that they only have one type of beer, but they do have wine. Go soon, you'll thank me!!

Went for a 80th here last Saturday, had a great time, the food was to a good standard, the drinks were fairly priced as well. It's a really good curry house, takeaway over 30 quid throws in a bottle of red and some cobras. Restaurant is lovely, staff are attentive. Food is great, they have a top deal mid week 11.00 per person gets a starter up to 3.95, a main up 9.95, popadums and either rice or a naan. Big portions so if there's two of you it's worth having one naan and one rice between two. Absolute gem - firm household favourite.

I've walked and driven past this place many, many times over the years but hadn't been inside until this week. Three of my colleagues from work had been before and raved about it, so we had a group meal a few nights ago. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed! Inside it's attractively fitted out, a big chandelier hanging over the door. The menu was large and had a good choice of curries to suit all tastes, and we all chose something different. Service was fast, and the food was excellent. We ate everything we were given and the final bill for four of us (poppadoms, chutneys, pickle tray, naan bread, four curries, two rice, six beers) came to just over £60. Very impressed with Adrak, and I'll definitely return.

Ordered a takeaway last night. Very disappointed to find out that they do not deliver to M31 as they only deliver to M41 and M32 postcodes. It was only a 7 minute drive!! Having said that, the food was very nice. One of the better Indian takeaways I've had. Chips were on point.

Had a meal here with some friends. We sat downstairs which was really busy. They tried to get us to sit upstairs when we arrived because they are trying to create an atmosphere up there and the waiter said he usually trys to put "walk ins" up there, and people who have booked downstairs, I advised him that we had booked and wanted to sit downstairs. The atmosphere was really good.although we ended up sitting behind one of the walls which I wasn't a fan of. The food was lovely most of us had the sizzler which is a really good size. The staff at the Adrak were absolutely fantastic in helping my daughter organise a meal for 100+ at her school. They planned the meal which consisted of 4 curries, nans, rice, onion bhajis, popadoms, mango chutney, mint yoghurt and onion relish. They supplied the Bain Maries (7) to serve the dishes and all the utensils. I checked with every table after the meal and everyone said they’d enjoyed it, and people could not believe how we’d managed it. One diner said they were the best Bhajis he’d ever had. They’d all gone before I had a chance to try them!! A huge thank you to the brilliant team at the Adrak for being so instrumental in making my daughter’s event be so special. Thoroughly recommended.

There are a variety of Asian restaurants in Urmston, but this one tops the list. Absolutely delicious curries and great service. As a vegetarian I really appreciate that they do most of their dishes with Paneer (I love Paneer!!). Also the naan breads are always the freshest and softest I’ve had anywhere. Without doubt the best in Urmston.
