D.Visit Alexandros for the true Greek flavour experience. This is one of only two restaurants in Manchester (the other one being Kosmos) that offer true Greek food. Alexandros's Greek cook ensures everything is done to perfection, and the food tastes what it's supposed to taste like - if you don't like it, you don't like Greek food!
For a taste of everything, try the mixed mezze - you can ask for veg or a mix of veg and meat for a complete experience.
This place has been amongst the top 3 restaurants in Manchester in TripAdvisor. Right now it's in the top 20 (out of nearly 2000 reviewed restaurants), and I do think that's too low.

The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back. The service was fantastic. The waitress explained all the dishes and was very attentive. The chef came out to see where we were up to during the meze. He was lovely and told us not to fill up on pitta (this is great advice lol) This is a must visit place, highly recommended.

E. J.Went to this place last night and OMG beautiful. We had the meze for 2. You might think £48 was a bit pricey but let me tell you it was well worth it. Started with the pitta bread and dips. There was more than enough for 2. Then came the starters. Again - there was more than enough for 2. We didn’t even get to the meat dishes. The owner potted it all up and we have heated in the oven and had it for dinner tonight. It feed 3 adults. The food was amazing. Would strongly recommend. The young waiter was brilliant. I am just annoyed I didn’t take his name. For a young man he was full of confidence. Nothing was too much for him. A real gentleman and an absolute credit to the owners. This place is definitely are new go to place. Well done to the whole team

Staff are all friendly and up for a convo! 5* every time, hands down.
M.Food was good. But the place lacked atmosphere. Tables bare no flowers etc. Music far too loud. Almost bare walls except odd picture. No ambience at all. Not even glasses on table. You cannot catch covid through glasses and flowers if this was why the place looked so stripped of every thing.
Service excellent.
Very basic for an evening out shame food good. Shall not be going again. Turn down the music please.

H. W.What a wonderful little restaurant, the food was authentic Greek cuisine, we ordered the meat meze and we ended up bursting at the seams with the generous portions. The grilled meat was so tender and tasty. Hospitality was great, we felt valued and put at ease, by the boss and the waiting staff. Normally at restaurants we eat and leave quickly, but we felt relaxed here and enjoyed taking our time. We'll be back for sure!

I. G.I've had my birthday party in this place following a friend recommendation. The party of 25 people were welcomed by the owner and his wife and the whole evening we were feeling like at home. Truly authentic Greek cuisine, not from frozen boxes but freshly prepared while you are taking your drink. We had the meat Meze and every dish was very tasty and perfectly cooked. It was a place where we could relax and weren't rushed through our meal. I will recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends. See you again very soon. N. Z.We stopped for lunch on our way back from Fort William to London. The kitchen was closed, but we got sat in the restaurant area and we could choose from the deli menu. We had some olives, soup of the day and gyros with halloumi and with chicken. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. Worth a visit, I wish it was closer to London, so I could go back and taste restaurant menu too!

S. L.I had been meaning to take my girlfriend here for a while and after a last minute decision to go, we walked in off the street on a Wednesday night. We were greeted immediately by very professional waiting staff who remained professional and looked after us well throughout our evening.
I was not sure what to expect from the food but my partners Lamb kebabs and my chicken with white wine and brandy sauce really impressed us. We chose the fresh salad and this complimented the meal perfectly.
Alexandros only had a handful of occupied tables but I get the feeling that the staff know what they are doing and you would most likely get just as good service any night of the week.

N. T.If you have experienced food in Greece you quickly realise that Alexandros offers authentic Greek dishes. I've visited the restaurant many times and never been disappointed. Excellent food, underpriced, with staff that go all their way to make you feel comfortable. If you live in and around greater Manchester and want to try proper Greek food, that's the place. Not to forget, leave space for dessert, the baklava and Ferrero Roche gateux are to die for... Enjoy :-)

W.We always let them know in advance that we’re celebrating, and they really make an effort to make you feel special - last year they decorated the table with birthday banners, etc, and this year there were some beautiful yellow roses, which were then given to my mum to take home.As always, the food was lovely - we had a lot of mezzes plus a few main courses which we shared, and there wasn’t a duff plate among them - it was delicious, obviously freshly cooked and we really enjoyed every bit.We went to eat very early, but it soon filled up, and we noticed that everybody got a friendly welcome from the owners (a couple - Cretan chap and Brit woman) and the staff.
