An amazing genuine American classic burger place that focuses on originality and quality. I tried the Cheetos Nacho Chicken burger which was crispy, tender and extremely flavorful. With that I had the Cheetos Nacho Fries which had the perfect combination of crunchiness and cheesiness, with a spicy kick. Their shake was spot on too!

Mediocre Branch if I'm being honest & a hit and miss you just have to get lucky with when you go in and which staff are working. Burger sometimes is cold in my experience and is common unless you get lucky and they make it right there on the spot. Can't fault the fries and sauces they taste good compared to other places and only reason I come back to here from time to time. Customer service isn't really there all till staff don't have welcoming faces and look quite agitated most of the time which puts me off sometimes.

Great tasting burgers no denying it. I had the pink lemonade which tasted great too however I do wish I had gone for a shake. The only downside I would say is the burgers are on the pricer side and that is me comparing them to other burger joints based in London serving as good as or better quality.

Tried a few things off the menu. They where very busy took me 25 minuites to get my food, how ever what let them down was the milkshake and waffle where ready 10 minutes before my burger! The burgers where small and pricey compared to others around here, how ever they tasted amazing. Tried the beef burger as well as the chicken. Chicken burger was quite dry as a sand which needed more mayo opposed to the small amount they put in there. Milkshake was very good and very thick as they should be. Nachos im not sure, the crisp they used had a weird seasoning. I would deffo return to Archies but it cost us around £32 for 2 people having 1 meal each and sharing a waffle and milkshake. That is on the expensive side for a takeaway!

Came all the way from London to Manchester to try this spot. I was skeptical since I don’t eat meat and they don’t do any fish burgers (which is sad) but I had to resort to having a falafel burger with spinach , halloumi & chick peas. I never had falafel before so I wasn’t too kin but I was hungry so I had no choice. To be honest I made a lucky choice because it wasn’t tasting bad. It was very decent. I would actually go back again. They should open up a branch in London cause I don’t mind having it again. But in all honesty, they need to have an option of fish/seafood burgers added to the menu.

Great tasting food and friendly & efficient service! They make everything fresh, including the hotdogs, so it’s not the place to go if you’re in a hurry, but it’s well worth the wait. It’s also - understandably - very popular, so this can add to waiting times, but they always seem to have a big team in the kitchen area. I highly recommend trying both waffles and the hot dogs. They have a huge selection of waffle options, check out the website menu before you go.

Great place to dine at. First time at Archies and we decided to go on the last day of the eat out to help out scheme 🤦🏻‍♀️ so you can image how long the queue was however the staff were very efficient 👍🏼 We didn't have to wait too long for our food and the food was pretty good even though the burger was a bit smushed.

Burger was small given that it was a double cheese burger, but satisfying. Milkshake was pretty much icecream so had to use my straw as a spoon & had to wait a good 10 minutes for my burger which seemed a fair wait given there were about 2 customers in front of me. The milkshake seemed a bit pricey at around £4.20. However all the items were tasty when I got them.

By far the best burger, the best fries and the BEST milkshake in the UK! It's always fresh and cooked to a high (cook from home) standard, which is why you have to wait up to 20mins for it to be done at times. It's worth the wait though. The price may be enough to reduce it to 4* for some, but the product outweighs that factor for me; ten fold. Keep opening stores and set up a delivery service ASAP!

With it being around the corner from the train station it's a handy little place to go and grab a bite. Somewhat on the dearer side, but worth the food that is served up. This is a smaller location and there not really any space to eat your food so you'll need to take it with you and find somewhere to eat it. Food-wise it is excellent.

Used to frequent Archie's and was revisiting Manchester so had to go back, but sadly was disappointed this time around. Service took half an hour, customers were waiting to be served because staff were talking to delivery drivers, and the chips were obviously ready long before the burgers because by the time the food came out they were lukewarm at best. The burgers are still fantastic, but this means I'll likely look elsewhere next visit.

Cons: Burgers are good but a bit dry, some sauce would be appreciated. Pros: there's a meal deal for only 1£ plus which includes a drink and fries. The opening hours are also great.

Visited here for the first time and all i can say is wow! The pink decor & slogans were very retro & eye catching, the tables were nice and clean with big spacious seats. The menu was creative and unique with fresh and exciting choices. Staff were friendly & accomodating and provided outstanding customer service. The food was amazing, there were 3 vegetarian options and a vegan option too, to cater for everyones dietary needs. I ordered their faloumi burger with hot cheese crinkle fries & a vimto. Food was absolutely delicious, very impressed. I would highly recommend this place.

Always enjoy a shake from Archie's. Have yet to try the food except from the fries. It's quite small in there so waiting for stuff can be a bit annoying. They never gave me a receipt but kept shouting numbers so by the time I got my fries they were cold as I didn't know my number! I had to go up and ask as they just carried on serving other people.

If you wait 10 minutes for a meal in a fast food place when the place is completely empty then you should receive at the very least edible fries especially with the high prices they charge.

Burgers and Shakes Location: The Burger Bar is located in the heart of the University student areas. This is the 2nd branch from the ever popular franchise. One of the biggest let down for this place is access. There isn’t much parking around the area, if there is..its restricted, parking meters and very few parking. However its on a major bus route which is good...if you manage to find parking you wont be disappointed Customers: This place is very popular with students and night revellers, due to its late opening time. However, it’s started to become very popular with High School and College kids, especially weekend evenings. This does have seating area downstairs but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it for families as its very tight squeeze. Those who do come food is served to the seating area which is handy. Food: I have to say I still haven’t found a place better than Archie’s when it comes to Shakes and burgers. If anyone knows any better halal places let me know. The shakes come in a labyrinth of flavours with some being changed to match celebrity status. Talking of celebrity, this place is very popular amongst the celebrity circle, with Recent visits from the Game and the main man himself Floyd Mayweather (google it) Price/Customer Service The price of food and shakes are very reasonable, and you wouldn’t mind paying a higher price with the quality of the food. For a very busy place the customer service is quick fast and efficient. The only work needed is on those fries!! But the burgers are heaven, from the basic cheese burger to the monster Daddy burger. Summary: If you looking for a great burger and shake place you’re not going to find it better in Manchester. If you traveling into Manchester and looking for a quick bite to eat highly recommend the place. I believe they have just opened one in Liverpool.

When I go to the archies on Oxford road the food is nice and waffle is perfect, but the archies in the Arndale I ordered from their and the waffle was terrible I got The Oreo it was everywhere there was no chocolate sauce like how there is at Oxford road, there was no ice cream when I normally get ice cream with it, it was just a plain waffles with millions of Oreo stuck to the bag also the chips were cold. Archies gives you inexpensive food that actually tastes great. Special mention goes to their milkshakes, which really are delicious, and their burgers, which are actually proper burgers and not impractical oversized monsters. The interior can be quite packed thanks to all the students hanging about in the already tiny space, but the food is worth the hassle. Their other shop further down on Oxford Road does have a seating area to make up for this. I highly recommend a visit

Really tasty burgers and good value for money! This branch of Archies is tiny inside and at times it can get really busy, but I find that they get your order to you in a reasonable time so you're not waiting around too long. In terms of food, I recommend ordering the Chicken Deluxe Burger if you don't want it too spicy, and if you do want something hot, then go for the Portuguese Peri Burger. I sometimes stop off just for a milkshake - they have a number is signature shakes (some named after the celebrities who picked the ingredients) but you can also choose from their vast range of chocolate bars and sweets to have one of these blended into your milkshake. The "Million Dollar Shake" is a safe choice to go for if you're unsure and is a favourite among my group of friends. I tend to visit their newer branch more because it has a seating area and a lot more parking options nearby (it's located a bit further down Oxford Road opposite All Saints Park).

Archie's is a funny one - it's a take away that always seems to be busy be it 3 pm or 2 am. I definitely see why though. The milkshakes are to die for and the food isn't too bad either. Walked passed this place for years, yet never ventured in. I wanted some chicken for my dinner and popped in here. Was pretty busy and looks a bit chaotic. Couldn't be further from the truth.
