Went to beefeater in heaton park after a nice walk and Even though it looks small from the outside its a spacious restaurant from the inside, wide enough between tables and very bright. The staff were welcoming and let me and my friend sat were we wanted. I ordered a lasagne with a side of rice and sweet potatoes fries, and halloumi fries. The lasagne was amazing, hot, and very tasty. To be honest one of the bests i have ever ate. The rice was ok, and the potatoes were good too. The alloumi fries weren't very nice or chewy, was just dry so I didn't finish them. But apart from that i do recommend this place to everyone going around this area. Its worth it. Will be coming back :)

Arrived here and had a short wait for a table for 2. Once we'd ordered the fish, chips and peas, the food came quite quickly and hot. There were quite a lot of diners in the place. The food was simple but absolutely lovely, wouldn't have minded a few more chunky chips!!! But as it turned out it was just enough. Would definitely recommend if more than 2 people, then to book ahead. Staff were busy but really nice.

The food was delicious I had the ribs and chicken combo it was lovely the only thing that let it down was the drink service very slow waited a good 15 minutes for drinks it wasn't busy so I don't no why it was so slow also after our meal no one came to see if we wanted dessert so we missed out on three dessert which was disappointing. Couldn't fault the food would recommend a visit just get two lots of drinks in.

Great service, unfortunately I cannot remember the ladies name because she was lovely. The food was also really nice and affordable, I had the steak sandwich and the kitchen let me amend my order as needed, best steak I've had and cooked to my liking. Be back again soon

I travel all over the UK for my Job and stay in a lot of Premier Inns and during these covid times so many of the Premier Inns pubs haven't quite grasped the new way of serving breakfast however Heaton Park Beefeater got it spot on. A nice sized juice and all the sauces are supplied from the start so no need to get the attention of the staff to get some once you have your food, the Porridge came with honey as it should, so many just give you plain porridge it's quite surprising I even stayed somewhere that gave me toast with no butter 🤷. The evening service was good too, so all in all I'm happy and would go again.

Visited with my elderly Grandma on a Saturday afternoon in November. Atmosphere was very nice, staff were polite & friendly (particularly our server) and the service/food spot on. Will certainly return - very impressed.

Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with our festive meal. There was no Christmas vibe either. The service was brilliant, lovely friendly staff. However we chose the turkey meal. Mine came luke warm and some of the stuff on my mums plate was burnt. We did eat what we could without complaining . The prawn cocktail starter was good and we had a trifle which was nice and we could have chosen any of the other deserts if we wished. It's just unfortunate as we couldn't really recommend the festive menu but would go again another time for the regular menu.

Breakfast was great and quick so decided to go back for dinner after we ordered an hour later our food came, one was cold as it was obviously waiting. Staff were overworked and rushed, we didn't even get cutlery and when we asked a bundle was dropped on the table, the Premier Inn meal-deal didn't work and wanted us to go over to the hotel and then come back then go back again as that was where we were staying. Would recommend for breakfast but dinner experience was terrible.

This is a update, on our latest visit, as there are only 2 of us never needed to pre-book and have always been seated, but on this occasion, first No One acknowledged us waiting at the door and eventually a lad came up and simply said "Fully Booked " it's not what was said but the way it was said. I know at the moment with staffing levels thing's can be hard but a little explanation we would have understood.We did notice that there were a few table's needed cleaning. I hope that when we try this place again thing's improve. Old Review This is a nice place for a meal with good food,there has been a refurbishment and all the staff are polite and professional, credit to the company,. Well worth a visit.

Me and my boyfriend are regular customers for several years. Every time we visit your restaurant, we always receive excellent and friendly service. Today, 15/05/21, we had a table booked around 7pm. Even when we came 30 mins later, we've got the table straight away. We sat in front, and because later on started raining, the lady brought us a parasol/umbrella straight away even without asking. The service is always friendly and professional. The lady who served us today came several times asking if everything was ok, checked if we're happy with a food, if we would like to order some more drinks, etc. Always with a smile. Visited on a quiet Sunday evening. Warm welcome and good service in a contemporary setting. Food was hot, well cooked and generous portions, despite substitutions where some garnishes were no longer available. Pleased to see a number of interesting dishes beyond steak/grill/burger favourites. Reasonable prices.

Everyone seemed flustered when we went in the late evening. There was a large table available when we arrived, but we were told to wait (seemed to put together a table for us then gave to someone else who walked in) bar was short staffed in that other workers were not helping to get the orders done and only seemed to have 1 on the bar. Food took a long time (we were there 2 hours for 2 courses and the place was emptying out) it also was sat a good ten minutes under the heat lamps before it was serviced. We did have an issue with one order being cold. Overall though the quality seemed good and the service was friendly, but I feel like everyone needed to get a break/go home at that time.

Most of the other staff are welcoming too although I've had a couple of poor experiences from 2 other staff members. For a chain pub the food is average. Great early dinner at the beefeater. Used the governments help out to eat out vouchers. The steak was really tasty, well worth the visit. Good value without the vouchers, even better value with.

Food is fairly average for the type of venue. Drinks are a little pricey on the basis that there are only a couple of staff who can pour a decent pint and in a dry glass. Decor and layout was updated around 12months ago but is in need of some basic maintenance. They appear to have had a couple of plumbing issues in the bathrooms recently owing to an unpleasant odour in some areas of the bar. The outside seating area is a great suntrap in summer but the all the seating is falling apart. Management seems a little unorganized with audible conversations about which staff members are on duty and in what section etc. In addition, following a short-changing incident on one visit, I spoke with a manager who advised he would have to look into it and call back to advise the outcome. Over a week later there has still been no contact. Overall this is a pleasant enough venue for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat but don't expect to be blown away with the quality, service or amenities.

Have enjoyed several meals here. The staff are pleasant and mostly helpful. On my first visit I was served an alcoholic drink instead of the alcahol free drink I had asked for and the response was poor, had I not been able to have alcahol it could have been problematic. On my next visit we had to request a new steak as the medium rare order came done well done. The person who served us could not have been more helpful and the mistake was rectified quickly and with good humour. All in all the food has been of a very high standard and We would have no hesitation in going again.

This beefeater is pretty decent. They do the unlimited chips thing but only with steak. Why only with steak? Surely there's better markup on the burgers compared to the steak, so why is that only the steak comes with unlimited chips? Anyway, I obviously had a steak. Not for the steak, but for the chips. I'd rather have had a burger or something, but no. No steak, no unlimited chips. Anyway, the steak was alright (I'm not a massive fan of steak) and the chips were indeed unlimited. I had so many I couldn't feel the inside of my mouth for days! The chips were good but also very hot. I am impatient, so I got burned... and I'd do it again. On a side note, the soft drinks were unlimited which is worth a star all by its self. Everywhere should do unlimited soft drinks with meals. It's just good.

Anticipating this, I called ahead yesterday to clarify and hopefully avoid this. However, today the manager of the Pub went back on what we were told yesterday. Regardless of whether this was bad information, or a misunderstanding, we felt that the attitude of the manager was absolutely disgraceful. We found him rude, arrogant and incredibly unprofessional. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume this was motivated purely by incompetence and/or general demotivation, but it seems to me he perhaps should consider a career change. Good - Our waitress, Kat was outstanding. She was friendly, warm, attentive, and went the extra mile in helping us to organise the suprise birthday cake for Mum, the 4 stars are purely for her, thank you Kat for rescuing our Mum's birthday meal The food was enjoyed by all, ribs went down a treat, cheers

I've been here once or twice over the years for either a quick drink in the bar while catching up with friends or dinner but most recently I went for a premier breakfast, for which you don't need to be staying in the hotel. It's a little more expensive than going somewhere for just a plain full English but the offerings are huge. You order your breakfast just how you like it, as many of whatever you want on your plate, cooked however you like it, for example you can have 8 bacon and a tonne of scrambled eggs if that's what you want or a proper full English with extra whatever you like most or you can have your eggs poached, fried or boiled if you prefer and it's all cooked fresh. While you wait you can help yourself to as much of whatever else you want to eat from cereal and toast to pancakes, crumpets and pastries. They also have as much tea, coffee, orange juice and smoothies as you can drink too. It's extremely good value for a great breakfast that will last you the day and another thing that makes it fab value is if you have kids, they eat free. Honestly recommend this to anyone, definitely a nice treat.

I enjoyed coming to this restaurant for a meal with my family ,the place itself was quite busy which could be the explanation why I kept having to prompt the waiters and waitresses for service ,the service was slow ,the staff were not either friendly or unfriendly just a plain service was delivered.The food was average ,nothing special but the deserts were well presented and good.I did enjoy the busy atmosphere in the pub and restaurant and the overall presentation of the restaurant was very good.Yes ,it is very much worth the money we paid for the meal,We are planning on coming back soon,hoping the service will be much improved and faster.
