Good quick and efficient service. Seats around 50 people atleast. Got separate male and female washrooms/toilets. Simple menu to choose from. Got the Lamb chops platter. It contained 4 lamb chops, chips, half a naan and a different dips. Chips were not the best but it was all about the chops, nice and tender meat. Good value for money. Would definitely go back to eat sometime.

After walking along curry mile went into this place randomly it wasn't very busy which was good as we got served quickly and staff were friendly and attentive,toilet were good except no toilet paper in there...The food was nice,lived my waffle and prawns,hubbie loved his mixed platter..Kidd's loved their sticky toffe pudding with Ice cream. To finish up had paan£2 for one. Really good value and service was good..my friend had visited a week before but she had different experience the tables were dirty,it was busy and floor had been dirty and toilet were in a disgusting state she said... possibly when She went it was raining so customer trampled the place or just got bad service that day.Only found out later she had went to the same place after I got back and almost like we visited a different place to what she experienced.

Jilanis is one of our family regulars. The burgers & lamb chops are our usual but this time I went for the chicken platter and it did not disappoint. Very succulent & Juicy well seasoned chicken. Mango Lassi always a huge hit with my kids! 😋 My only criticism is that there isn't much gluten free option but I'm happy to go back again and again for the chicken. 👌🏼

I went there for desserts as I just get the feel from looking at the restaurant is that served hot food as well. First impressions were as if this was a desserts only shop. So I decided to get my favourite falooda and I also ended up ordering 3 way jilani dessert Ferraro rocher it consisted of 1 ice cream scoop, a slice of cake and mousse. If I'm being brutally honest, I am not ever going to order any of the dishes above. But the staff was great, place was clean, tidy and comfy. I'd also say that this place is great value for money - the portion sizes are massive. I'm willing to try them again as they have a great variety of food and desserts.

I was doing a halal foodie trip with my family to Manchester's infamous Curry Mile at Whimmy Road and was recommended by my friend to order their Lamb Chop Platter. We were on our way back to London so decided to grab a takeaway and the children had their excellent ice cream cones whilst we waited. Once we took the Lamb Chops home with a slight reheat as advised by the owner, Bobby, I've got to say that these are the best lamb chops we've ever had and when we come back to Manchester which we definitely will with other family members, we will definitely eat in and order the same again! 😍😋

Really good prices and great variety for dessert and savoury food. I ordered lamb chops and peri prawn platter. The lamb chops r defo good value for money, very tender and tasty. However the peri peri prawns aren't very good, it's supposed to be saucy but mine were just oily and it was more of a thick onion paste on top of 7 small prawns. I had to remove the oil.

Fabulous food and Fabulous service. Setting is perfect for families & friends. Food is incredibly tasty, We had the samosa chaat for starters & the lamb chops for mains, THE LAMB CHOPS are amazing had to order second’s they are a must! Food was good and lamb chops were really good and to be honest not many places do good lamb chops. Service wasn't great and does need to be improved. Walked in and asked for a table for 2 with my pregnant wife and basically situated us on a single table where I don't know how the food would fit, and chairs were uncomfortable, not paying to be uncomfortable whilst eating and asked for the booth which was free to which the waiter said that's for other people as it will get busy. Clearly no care so I asked for the booth again otherwise I would have left. Food was good and prices are very reasonable and affordable but only downside in this case was poor service by the waiter.

We tried the mixed grill and found the shish kebab, lamb tikka/chops to be really tasty. Chicken tikka and wings were average, I'd probably stay away from the smoothie too as it just lacked fruit. Maybe too much ice, watered down. Would've hoped for more salad but it is what it is. Mixed platter should definitely come with 2 shish kebabs. We tried the peri peri prawn platter too, didn't taste anything like peri flavours! Customer service was excellent.

This place has become a case study in how to deliver bad service. The young lads serving seem like they've been forced to work in there and they'd rather be elsewhere. Throwing food and cutlery onto the table, getting orders consistently wrong, and generally looking and acting disinterested when confronted with their self inflicted problems. Shame really as the food here has always been decent and the manager at the till is a nice guy, albeit it would help if he had a better staff recruitment or training policy.

I have been here on a few occasions. Seated quickly, lamb chops were good (slightly undercooked a little bit mid rare) but amazing taste. Chips were not great but food in general is decent and lamb chops are the star of the show. Some of the servers do not care about serving u especially with small tables for 2 people to share not enough space especially in Ramadan. They do not do mocktails. One of the servers interrupted me when I tried to order and then didn’t want to write it down (out of laziness I assume) and then messed up my order (forgot what I wanted) and then when I went to pay had charged me for those extras the server forgot to write (or give me?) while having to pay for it. However, the actual manager I think of the place is always willing to help and sort out the servers. The servers to improve need to write down orders, make sure the customer is finished ordering and provide them with what they’ve ordered rather than doing a bad job.

Decent chops but staff missed one of the orders, so had to wait twice as a long. Improving but still a lot of room for improvement. Have prayer room in basement. Wilmslow Road so expect parking issues.

When you arrive you are greeted with a warm welcome and seated in the waiting area when the tables available you'll be called the food is finger licking good my lil munchkin loves it hear one of his favourites just wished I lived closer we would be hear alot more they do deserts and something called pan a big edible leaf with nuts sweet goodness which is a big hit with me in all a quick service nyce atmosphere for dining alone or with family xx💋

Only tried the lamb chops starter / main from the place but so far so good! Lamb chops are very flavoursome and come with either chips / rice with naan bread and sauces. The sweet lassi and pink kashmiri tea is definitely worth trying if you go there. Would have given it 5 stars but the food choices are limited.. if the menu is expanded and the quality remains the same, I would be a regular here.

Mediocre. This 'restaurant' is a hit and miss, they have to potential to serve you exquisite lamb chops but on this particular occasion they failed to do so. Normally I enjoy Jilani's, but the recent delivery I had was disappointing. The burger was seriously undercooked, I had to put it on the grill. Also bun was very soggy and chips did not taste fresh at all. Normally on point but I will not be ordering for a while.

This has to be my first review for up north being a Londoner. What can I say blown away when I first ate here, so good that me and the Mrs came back to Manchester a few weeks later as we were craving there food. Value for money is incredible! Yet the quality is not compromised. I have to say best lamb chops I’ve had, just perfect. I would highly recommended if your in the area and need somewhere to eat. They have a fantastic selection of desserts if you e still got room for something sweet, from traditntal gulab jamoon to cookie dough. Finally a pan corner where you can grab a pan made to your specifications or premade.

3 stars as lamb chops is amazing,but rice was a let down-dry and only mixed with turmeric. Nan was soft but needed to be eaten quickly as 2 minutes in, the nan texture went chewy. Steak chips are served here and was nice however I think they rushed to fry them as couple were half cooked.

Went here today for the first time....after hearing about this place....the food didn't disappoint...the menu was abit small and when I say small...the text print was tiny and limited. Got recommended lamb chops....they were pretty good. The restaurant wasn't appealing...could do with a deep clean or referb. The staff made me laugh....you have one uncle running around with a normal t shirt on....a Molvi lookin guy with a Jubba on and a young kid who's running around trying to do what he can 'betchara' . Overall Food was good but limited and the place needs a good clean. Price was worth it. X hope this helps lol

Social distancing and face mask must be worn on entry. You are greeted at the waiting entry and are shown to your table depending on how many are in your group. Once seated, you can browse their menu and select your order. The food is prepared fresh and hot.

This is the place you want to go if you prefer having good quality starters, their burger is really nice too especially the one where they melt the cheese inside the patty. The lamb ribs are a must here. The chicken tika is also nice but its all about the lamb chops are a must. Food is tasty and nice, delivery time is good and presentation is good, however for the prices, portion sizes are on the small side, almost more of a starter than anything, so ordering just one thing off the main menu doesnt fill you up. Burgers are nice and that is a decent portion if ordered with chips. Venue is okay however booths are for larger parties only even if they are not busy. The seating for parties of 2 are too close together, so can feel like youre part of the couple next to you.

Good Venue, though the thing that is apparent is the food; which has a takeaway style too it. Would not recommend buying the grilled chicken burger as the chicken is not cooked properly IMO. The lamb chops platter here is to die for, sometimes one isn't enough and will always have to get another but because of the reasonably priced food you honestly don't mind getting extras! Always get served by a lad called Qasim, what an amazing worker he is, if it wasn't for him and his brilliant service It wouldn't be in my Top 3!

Not many vegetarian options, all vegetarian dishes had cheese which will be no good for people who suffer with lactose intolerance. Grilled dishes on the other Hand are delicious, will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend this place, the food and service was great. The stuffed cheese beef burger was tasty, however a little too cheesy for me personally. I’d get the flamed beef burger next time. Lamb chops are by far the best I’ve had, really succulent and the right amount of flavour. I don’t get excited over chops usually, in other places they tend to be tough and over seasoned, but these are insanely good!

One of my favourites. Not had Lamb Chops like the ones served here anywhere else, very delicious. The Burgers are on point, would definitely recommend. Four Stars because the Prayer Room smelt very bad, lots of damp, but that is just downstairs, upstairs is fine. Hope they sort the Prayer Room out.

Reason for my 3 star is not the food or the service, it's because I went with my family to eat and the front door remained open once customer had come in. Jilani's is personally one of my favourite places for food. A brilliant service provided always and the food has never failed. A variety of grilled options on the menu with desserts to look after that sweet tooth. I would suggest you visit Jilani's which is in Wilmslow Road that is surrounded by many other shops. It is great for friends,groups,families,couples,OAP's, so you can see it caters for all. It also has access for the disabled and there are tables located evenly without and discomfort.

The menu is limited basically you can order around 10 different starters and they give you a choice if you want the starters (Lamb chops, bbq wings, seekh kebab, chicken tikka etc) served with chips or rice or naan. However the food is quality the lamb chops wrre soft and flavoursome. The bbq wings were amazing much to my surprise. They also have a dessert sections I settled for pancakes with maple syrup and the bill came to £11 each for 3 people plus dessert and spfr drinks. Really decent place.

Located on the 'Curry Mile', theres quite a lot of competition but this place serves a quick meal in a nice family environment. The dining area is quite plush and comfy compared to other similar priced diners. The food is presented nicely and served on nice platter. Theres a range of food to choose from on the menu i.e burgers, kebabs, veggie dishes and desserts. The waiters look bored but do their job effectively. I always enjoy coming to Jilanis as ive never been let down with regards to service, quality of food, price and cleansiness.

The grilled selection here is quite small but it is cooked and seasoned VERY WELL. The only downside is the amount of meat you get is laughable. If you get the lamb chops you should be fine but if you were to get the lamp tikka like my mum did, it was literally like 5/6 tikka 👀 she was still hungry after it so I don't know it's up to you if you want to go here. The food isn't mind blowing but it's still tasty. If the prices were reduced or more meat was given then might've given them 4* but alas. It is what it is.
