Laughing from entering to leaving! I had such a fun time & it was nice to sit back, not care & just have a genuine laugh among like minded people. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, there should be more places like this. I’d like to say the staff were lovely but obviously that wouldn’t be accurate, as they aren’t meant to be haha! But they were fab and do such a great job and serving and entertaining everyone at the same time. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty! Would definitely return again.

Took my daughter after seeing social media videos. Very impressed with the experience. Its definitely not for the easily offended. Staff do exactly the opposite to a regular restaurant experience but the way they do it is hilarious. The food is pretty good but not amazing. You are paying for the experience than 5 star food. Would definitely visit again

Well don’t go if you can’t take it!! Attended Karen’s diner and safe to say we wasn’t disappointed!!! Tonight they trialed the first Karen’s quiz…. To win a pitcher…. Again a first for Karen’s and well we won….. was definitely a lovely pitcher…. Not a clue what was in it but it tasted so good!!! And definitely had the desired effect. Was so much fun food was lovely and even though they was busy didn’t need to wait long will definitely return!!!!

Absolutely brilliant. Would love to work somewhere like this. People saying "horrible service" - that's the whole point!! The service isn't actually "bad", staff are attentive and very good at their jobs. The joint is very clean and well presented and the food is very good and reasonably priced, especially in current times. The staff are intentionally rude and make fun of customers, that's the whole point of the "Karen" gimmick. Don't come here if you're boring and can't laugh at yourself. Good food, great experience. Will definitely be back.

You go for the experience - food is decent but not a lot of it. You don't get long on your table so if you want dessert you need to tell them up front - we waited 30 minutes to be able to order dessert then were told it was too late because we would have to leave our table soon - but if they'd taken the order when we asked we'd have been able to, so that was a little odd. Great when you first go in and get greeted by the best Karen but the actual servers were lacking in entertainment value. We went for a birthday but this was overlooked which was a shame as we were expecting a roast. Overall it was good fun and we're booked in again at the end of the year but I'm hoping for a little more next time!

Absolutely amazing time, from the moment we walked in the door we were laughing our socks off, it's the most fun i have had in a restaurant by far, the staff were really attentive and engaging and really sold the whole karen vibe, the host was so fantastic and really worked the room and had everyone in hysterics, they had us all embarrassing ourselves with the wheel of misfortune and had me marching round the restaurant impersonating Chewbacca, and dancing like a fool to win myself a free shot, big shout out also to Erin/Earon "forgive my spelling", for being really wonderful and engaging with our table, really looked after us she did, so thank you, and a big thank you to the whole team for making this a truely unforgettable evening, oh and the food was great lol :D

Absolutely, hilariously, fabulously shocking service! I don't think I've laughed that hard during a meal out ever. How the staff keep it together is beyond! The food was fantastic as well. Unbelievably juicy burgers, everything seasoned beautifully. Waffles for dessert were delicious. 10/10 would recommend!

Make sure you understand the place before you go. Or take someone who does not know and it can be more fun. Service was as sort of expected... fun... we were all were singled out at one point and it added to the fun. Service was also quick and attentive. The food is typical diner food but it was of a good quality and the seasoned fries were really good. Had a really good experience here. Not for the easily offended. Manager was very good with everyone. Well worth the visit.

Such a funny night out! Didn't expect it to be so interactive but there was so many games and challenges which tried to get everyone included as much as possible. The staff are amazing at the job, I don't know how they can keep a straight face. The food and drinks are also amazing and really good portions at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

What an experience this was... I have never laughed so much in my life. I couldn't ask the waitress for what I wanted at one stage because I couldn't breath with laughing. This was a spur of the moment booking before we were headed back home to London and it was by far the best decision I made. Seriously the staff are amazingly rude and how they keep a straight face I do not know they really are so good. Burger was lovely and the rest of the food . Keep doing what what use are doing girls. What a diner! Non stop laughing from start to finish, came last night for my partners 30th and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure! Absolutely hilarious, the staff are amazingly funny and brutal. All kept lighthearted and fun. Some reviews said the food isn’t great but couldn’t agree less it’s amazing the fry seasoning is amazing. They did mess up our order a little bit, nothing major but they managed to firstly sort it out with absolutely no bother and secondly keep character while not crossing the line. Hilarious must do, would avoid if easily offended.

Is a super fun and unique awkward experience. *** if you embrace it**** All the Karen reviews here complaining about service obviously did not understand the concept. It's defo not for everyone - but great banter and personally thought they could actually take it a little further - maybe adult only nights and make it savage! Food was good quality for an American Style Diner with generous portions and Cocktails/shots was well made too. (You have to ask for cutlery!! So many sat eating with fingers!) It's just a laugh - if easily offended then miss it. Not for young kids but you judge your own child if they would be ok with swearing. Only 2 of us went but will be returning with friends as would be even funnier as a group. It did actually get a few tables talking as uncertainty / scared of being singled out which was nice as a social situation! Don't be a snowflake! You should know what you are attending 😉

I have to say I had fun at Karen's Diner. I took 4 kids which a lot of people will say it's not for kids but I was open minded and didn't mind the swearing and stuff. When we got there we were met with immediate swearing and banter and we were all laughing our heads off. We ordered food and it came out really quickly.... the food is delicious and one of the best burgers I have had. The team at Prestwich was great and I would definitely go again, maybe without the kids to enjoy the games and get the full Karen experience

Absolutely brilliant. From the minute we stepped in. The food was amazing. The service terrible as you would expect. The guy who looked after us or should I say insulted us I'm not sure of his name but he is tall dark haired with a beard. Totally brilliant bloke up for a laugh and very sharp whit. Seen a couple of YouTube videos about this chain, so after seeing that our closest one is 5 minutes away we just had to go. Sarcasm and rudeness is order of the day from the moment you step into the place until you leave. My hair stylist husband was awarded a hat bearing the words "my barber is Stevie Wonder" which had me tickled pink. The staff are brilliantly impolite "anything else cos I'm not making two trips!". Found ourselves asking for the menus to be brought back just for the look of disgust on their faces.

You would think it would be an easy job giving an experience like they do at Karen’s but if you pay close attention you can see the staff are actually working really hard to gauge how to give customers the best possible experience depending how hardy a sense of humour they have. It is hilarious (i had tears coming out of my eyes at one point) but all jokes aside if you’re spending money you want a good meal. My food was cold and it wasn’t a good portion given I switched out my fries for salad and didn't receive it, just the burger on its own and because of the vibe you don't want to complain lol. Seems like some genuine requests get lost in the banter. All in all was a really really funny experience, just wouldn’t go back a second time.

Really great experience and the food was great too! Definitely not for the easily offended and some of the jokes can be very personal and very highly sexualised, but if you don't mind that it is a great laugh! It's maybe not family friendly for everyone, I seen an approximate six year old get called a "d@&%head" by one of the staff! I personally thought that was hilarious. The only negative I had is around service. I get the whole concept is to be a bit rude and dump things down at the table, but we needed napkins and sauces and they just won't give you any attention so I guess it's finding that balance to maintaining the experience element but also being able to get napkins and sauces or at least have them in the centre and visible. I also couldn't order extra drinks because the server was in character ignoring us so it's funny but also counterintuitive from a business point of view.

Excellent place to go if you want to get abuse and have a comical experience whilst still having decent food! Ignore the bad reviews there a waste of time! If it's your birthday, you get abuse happy birthday sang to you and a free syringe shot! Even played a few games whilst having our time there!

We went to Karen’s on the second day of opening, straight away we were laughing and we liked that the waitress asked us if we understood the concept. The table wasn’t free so they had us walking round the room for a while, they made it fun so that was fine. When we sat down and got the menu, we were a bit disappointed that there were no chicken burger options that had been on the online menu. However we ordered and the food was nice, standard food but we enjoyed it. We were given a free shot for my birthday too which was a nice touch. The reason for only 4 stars is that we expected to be ‘entertained’ a bit more than we did and we also felt like they were quite pushy with getting you to spend extra money, asking a lot about starters and desserts. Some of the ‘jokes’ were said to us more than once as well. We probably wouldn’t go again as we felt it was a one time experience however we do recommend trying it out once!

Quite an experience! Lots of fun would definitely recommend. I do feel we could have been abused slightly more, then it would have been golden. Food was lovely. Been to Karen's Diner today, it's been absolutely amazing? I'm definitely going again. I disability and can't walk at all so I have to use an electric wheelchair to get around èverywhere. I absolutely loved the fact that none of the staff treated me any differently to the other customers and gave me the exact same experience as everyboddy else regardless of my disability, they didn't treat me any different, which is great because people do/have treated me differently throughout my entire life. 100% highly recommended. Coming from someone who's never before, in opinion Karen's Diner are better than the Karen's we hear/see on Tik Tok.

We had a fun time and the staff were very insulting. They defaced our colouring in and for god’s sake don’t mention the V (vegetarian) word. Kelly, our server, went out of her way to be rude to us. But you will have to leave your table after an hour. 🙈

Honestly not that great. Waited ages to be seated, when we were seated we were shoved in a corner, and had no interaction from staff at all - which is the whole point of this resteraunt. Servers never came to check on us, we were rushed out after an hour after being told we could only sit in our table for an hour.. very odd. Food was cold and soggy, and menu was not the one that was on the website, and it was also overpriced. Overall i do not recommend at all. They only seemed to interact with a select few people.

Like the concept, but was expecting rude and actually received vulgar. Went with the flow and belly laughed all night. However, I don’t like that the food was just slammed down at one end of the table with no mention of what was what, meaning we had to lift up burger buns to check who’s was who’s. And also didn’t know you only got an hours reservation, so one waitress came over and shoved a card reader at one of our friends faces and told them to pay. He refused as they hadn’t even cleared our table and we wanted desserts, and she then threatened to call the police. She was so rude it actually took another waitress to come over and interject and allow us to spend longer there. Was so excited but won’t return. Certainly not for the faint hearted, and definitely not suitable for kids.

What a great place to be insulted. We weren’t disappointed. The staff were totally rude, threw our food on another table, made us clean our own table, threw us out because we were early and then shouted at us saying we were late it was the best. I would highly recommend it.

I have to say I was very nervous to go here ,it was my son that booked it there was 4 of us all together and I'm glad to say I sank in the corner with my daughter in law while my husband and son took the blunt end of what this very unique diner has to offer we all ended up having a very weird experience 🤦🏼‍♀️🤭the food was gorgeous I have 2 Karen complaints 😁the time you have is very short if you want to have starter ,meal and dessert and the parking was difficult not many spaces but all in all great experience,must pay a visit and remember to wear your thick skin 😉😂

The waitresses were rude, I was often ignored the volume of the restaraunt was unbearable with arguments with the kitchen, staff and patrons. On a serious note..... All I’m all good was nice not amazing get same anywhere really but overpriced for me for what you get Funny night in there with entertainment and stuff from staff but waitress messed my order up upgraded to sweet potato fries and recieved normal fries burger came with sauce on after I asked clearly no sauce just bacon and cheese Then ordered a pudding of churros with Nutella ice cream and whipped cream What came out was churros with no cream ice cream Nutella at all !!!!! Was filled with bits horrible sweet sauce and tiny marshmallows was not nice at all I left half of it We paid over £100 and got ok service but trying to rush us out at the end after what we paid not good either Only thing I can say it was opening night but they need to get their acts together with the service and maybe lower prices!
