M.The best Caribbean, Jamaican food in Manchester, Go for the Whole chicken with the goats curry sauce, And rice, Don't forget to ask for the creamy coleslaw on the side, if they have any left, And the pineapple punch is so nice do not leave without one. Been going here years and the food truck has always been better then the shop in my experience.

I was passing by this place with my partner, then I decided to give it a try.
I had jerk chicken leg with rice.
Jerk chicken was full of flavor, super tasty. Love the grill flavor with chicken, it's perfectly cooked and it's very tender and not too dry.
The rice was perfectly match with jerk chicken.
Overall it's a great meal for lunch, and this place definitely won't disappoint you.
Look forward to try other things next time!
m. g.Working in the area and with the air filled of smokey beautiful Carribean food, half way along Chorton Rd. I had the urge to try some lovely jerk chicken and was not disappointed at all.
I've eat there many times since and each time is always a pleasure.

A. W.I am glad I stopped. Driving back from a long day in Manchester I noticed Kool Runnings. Had the chicken version Reggie box all to my self with extra dumplings. The chicken was perfectly cooked soft and juicy with that real bbq taste. Side dishes where fresh and generous in size. The friendly chef kindly made the reggae box with chicken as they had sold out of steak. If I am ever back in Manchester I am going to plan my route to pass by and try some more. Thank you chef.

S. C.After we visited here, we went the next day too because the food was SO good. Massive chunks of meat, with a really flavourful sauce. The dumplings were also to DIE for, so crispy. I really recommend this place, the guys working there are super friendly too!

T. V.Fantastic food, fantastic place to be situated and friendly staff and ace owner. Known him for years and got nothing but love for him. You wanna find true Caribbean food fresh and sensational then look no further. My kids have withdrawals when the van ain't set up and that's the only downfall. Place ain't open enough. I find myself on random occasions just driving by they are there. Big food though always pumping good songs too

Authentic Caribbean cuisine severed by extremely helpful and friendly staff, my eldest son who's 13 loves going there as the jerk chicken is outstanding especially with the jerk sauce which you would think would be too spicy but it's the opposite, it seems to cool it down. The main meals are great with a good selection like curried goat, curried beef, chicken on or off the bone, lamb and other daily specials. Definately worth a visit😋👍

Found the place on a walk and... it's so delicious! Kool runnings are hidden gem of Manchester! I had delicious chicken with rice and coleslaw while my partner had lamb. Both dishes very delicious and massive portions. The food is too salty. There is always somebody either in queue or buying the food already so they seem to be quite popular. The two guys are really kind as well.
Also they have cow foot on Saturdays only so I didn't get to try it yet

每次經過都大排長龍，今天終於有機會來嚐鮮。
今天點了Jerk chicken rice and peas, chicken curry (因為goat curry 已經售完）還有fried dumpling 都好吃。
