Good restaurant. The food is pretty spicy and I don't like spicy food, so it was a little difficult. Went for a birthday celebration so wasnt disappointed with the food as there is loads of vegan and gluten free options. The food was tasty. Just on the spicy side. There isn't too many desserts to choose from though however. The cocktails are 2 4 1 all day so that is really good. Is a nice restaurant to try

We went to Las iguanas to celebrate my partners birthday! The vibe was great in there! Music was brill! The food was excellent and our server was lovely! We thought it would be nice to surprise my partner with a birthday drink so without her knowing my friend popped to the bar and asked them to bring over a birthday cocktails for her! They said they would which was great! Then we waited about 30 mins, by this point we had finished our food and weren’t getting dessert, so we were just sat waiting trying to not act weird so she didn’t know anything was going on! In the end they didn’t bring the cocktail so we paid and left!

Fast service, and the food was amazing! The cocktails were strong and the 2 for 1 offer is faultless. The portion sizes were big and good quality food. A variety of vegan and veggie options however a fake meat option would be nice! The staff are all friendly too, worth a visit especially if you have veggies or vegans in your party

Everyone at the table commented that they felt the portions were on the smaller size compared to similar establishments. Recommended though if looking for a quick bite to eat.

4 friends had the Bottomless Brunch. There was only one starter- Nachos, which were quite spicy and tasty. I had burger and chips and my friends had wraps and a vegetarian option. Throughout the meal, we had as much Prosecco as we could drink for 90 minutes. My only slight issue was the wooden chairs which were really uncomfortable, otherwise it was a very enjoyable experience.

Food was lovely, but…. Service is rubbish. We were booked in for 6pm. Served food at half 6. We finished at around quarter past 7 and wanted a dessert menu. Weren’t given dessert menus until 20 to 8, in which we ordered coffees. Didn’t receive coffee till 8:05pm. The bloke serving the coffees didn’t know the difference between a latte and mocha. Sidenote. Womens loos aren’t particularly pleasant.

I have been to Las Iguanas on Deansgate, Manchester twice in the last two weeks for the Bottomless Brunch and I love it. There is a great selection of Main meals (on the Brunch) to chose from and the Chicken Borrito is really scrummy. Anna served us on both occasions and she was great, really friendly, helpful and chatty. The service was great and would definitely recommend the Bottomless Brunch to anyone and will definitely return 👌

Good table service, 2 people with starters, mains, sides & drinks came to about £40 so its very reasonable indeed. It only loses a star because of the lack of car parking and central town location means you will have to park far away (most likely the amc cinema about a 15 minute walk away).

Went there twice so far this summer. The first time was with work colleagues and the second time was with friends. Amazing atmosphere, great food and of course the 2 for 1 cocktails all day everyday is unbeatable. The staff are friendly and always cheerful despite the business of the place.

Couldn't rate this place more highly. Went for a meal on the 13th November with family. Service was outstanding. Was asked on arrival about allergies and the young lady who served us was a dream. She walked me through the menu checking all dishes were suitable for me to eat. Whoever she was I forgot to take her name (girl with short hair) because of you I had a fantastic meal. Food was amazing especially the chicken fajitas and the Bahia chicken. Cocktails were fab and would recommend the Berry colada and the Zombie.

Fantastic staff, service and food. If they could handle the six, midlife crisis males like us, your family meal will be simply wonderful. Just avoid eating there when certain types are also in the vicinity. Just sayin'. Obvs... Menu was very versatile and our hostess helped us cater for our individual dietary requirements. First time visit. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. We Ordered a beef burrito and the coconut chicken. Couldn’t really taste the beef, or anything besides the onions in the beef burrito. The sauce of the coconut chicken tasted alright, but the meat itself tasted watery and almost like fish on the inside. At least the staff were kind enough to refund the chicken after we gave them our feedback about the meal.

However... walked in at 7ish to be called over to the bar by bar tender (as no one on the desk by door to greet and seat you) told there was a 30min wait for a table (for 2) even though there were 20+ empty tables and only 6 tables with diners. Waited 10mins at bar to be served as the two bar staff were making drinks for the diners. Whilst we waited for a table no other diners came in, apart from a table for 6 who were also told of the 30min wait and left. Table service was slow and poor, glasses not cleared or food checked if ok throughout whole of our meal. Served by several different staff members, not a welcoming friendly atmosphere. I have never been to an eatery that has turned away diners when empty and given such poor service. Didn't get a thank you or asked how our meal was..shocking. Hand basins in the ladies are mouldy.

Lovely place. Great decor. Nice staff. Unfortunately can't give a five star due to the lack of salt. Ate ximxim and the salt was inexistent. Asked the waiter for some salt and he brought 2 small packets. 1 for me, 1 for the person I was with. Maybe a proper salt and pepper dispenser would be better if you're going to put such a small amount of salt. It's Latin food, should have proper condiments. Will probably return but try something else.

Went as a group of 18 and had there 2 course and arrival drink menu for £19.95 The food choices are excellent, large portions and it all of our meals tasted great - no complaints for any of the girls. The restaurant offers a large variety of dishes and we were surprised by the rich vegetarian/vegan & gluten free menu. The portions are really big and delicious, we took them home in the end, as we ordered appetizer and main dish, which turned to be too much for what we could eat. There was amazing food, I had the chicken and they let me have two portions of fries which is good customer service (yay). The squash is well priced with fifty pence for a cup, even if it is small. For desert I had a brownie with ice cream. The brownie was warm and the ice cream cold.

This is a colorful place and decor to show the Mexican and Latino vibe. We tried a quesadilla of spicy chicken, peppers, onion and cheese for which was a moist, hot little number and quite excellent. Then my guest had the Blazing Bird, a half chicken, with fries, coleslaw, salad and the Voom sauce, described as 'seriously hot'. It was hot but seriously so and suffered from a mite too much sweetness. Still the impressive collation was wolfed down with lip-smacking vigour and declared 'very good'. I also went Brazilian and had the extraordinary xinxam. This was a weird dish of lime chicken, green beans and a sauce which turned out to be crayfish and peanut. It was immensely enjoyable, a spicy delight with strong flavours and pungent, powerful sauce. The coriander in it was a real lift. A shared pudding of creamy caramel cake, Rennaissance Cardinals sat on silken cushions might have demurred. It was, despite that, sort of addictive. Las Iguanas is sensible with the wine and the prices and knows its middle market well. Very few wines stray over the £20. An adequate Torrontes at £17.90, light and breezy worked for us and for the xinxam and the Blazing Bird. This was a decent and entertaining meal, food costing less than £15 per person. Chains can be depressing in their rigidity of food, service and ambience, Las Iguanas at lunch was enjoyably loose and joyful.
