One of the nicest meals I’ve had. Setting was absolutely beautiful and got to watch the sunset. I ordered the chicken wings with firecracker sauce for starter and spicy chicken udon noodles for main. Can’t beat a good chinese udon Cocktail was amazing too.

So we booked through open table which was easy enough not alot of times available so had a late time however when we got there the place was pretty empty. The team were polite some seemed new but they were still professional and were efficient. The food was great we really enjoyed it .its is a shame because unfortunately even with all that we won't return the parking available for astley point is tiny to what they need everyone was fighting for a spot. spots being made up ,we parked on the road coming down no yellow lines not seeing the small sign saying please don't park and recived a ticket .advice to any guest reading get an uber there really is no.were to park god knows what its like when the places are busy because it was quiet in all areas.

Been on 4 separate occasions and its always amazing. Food, service and everything is fantastic. Ignore some of the idiots reviews on here complaining about price etc probably because they usually go 2 for 1 pubs tight arse!

Lovely Chinese but… asked for a dish that wasn’t on the menu, it was just an omelette & they decided to change £11.50 for the privilege, I would go again but won’t be ordering this dish if this is what they charge. Not really fair

Had a lovely afternoon tea Chinese style today and I must say we throughly enjoyed it. The food was soooooo tasty and we felt really relaxed with a huge warm welcome. This was our 1st day out with our new born daughter, the owner and her daughter took time out to chat with us and our 4 yr old daughter. We will be returning very soon and cannot rate our experience enough. Well done Lizhi keep up the good work. 👌

Amazing modern venue, very pleasant staff. I suggest you check the menu online first as there isn't a huge choice and be warned you'll be expected to pay a service charge.

I’d like to start by saying the food was 5 star. Service lovely, I enjoyed the view too. I’m giving this a 3* because for the price charged, maybe you could look into an eco friendly takeaway packaging. I wouldn’t expect such packaging in an upscale place like this. That said, food is great thanks for that.

Went last night for my birthday meal. We had a table booked for 12 people which we got on time but they only gave us 2 hours for have a 3 course meal with drinks. Might be ok for smaller numbers but not 12. Starters came out at 18:45 and they started cleaning up as soon as you put the last bit of food in your mouth. Main meals however didn't come out till 19:35 so didn't understand the rush. Surprisingly some of the kids where still eating but they brought the bill over. I sent it back and told them we hadn't finished and everyone wanted a desert. We did end up getting a desert for most of the table. They brought the bill over again, by this time it was around 20:25 as the next sitting was waiting for the table. We hadn't even finished our desert or drinks and they started taking them away which I thought was really rude. Maybe next time, extend the table time or pre-order might be the best way. Food was good though even though it felt really rushed.

The service was really good, the staff made sure we were okay and the restaurant has a really beautiful atmosphere for a nice dinner. The food is definitely worth the money and the wings were really good and enough for 1 person. The serving size was very satisfying. The egg fried rice and noodles dishes were very tasty and my friends loved their ribs a lottt. The cocktails and drinks were good. Definitely recommend this restaurant and would go back again.

Booked a meal at Lizhi Astley Point for a treat. Arrived early but the car park was full. There are several restaurants so it can be tricky to get a spot. After driving around for a bit, a space became available, but I advise you go early. Inside, the Italian restaurant downstairs was busy and had live music but Lizhi is on the 1st floor. The staff inside were very welcoming and attentive. We were sat in a booth so it felt very exclusive. We started with cocktails and mixed starters. They were beautilly cooked and presented. The waiter asked it we would like a break between courses which we did. The main courses arrived and were presented on large platters. The whole dining experience was lovely. The meal was slightly more expensive than other similar restaurants but definitely worth it.

Good service with attentive staff. Food was very good and well presented, the teens enjoyed the half duck. The prawn toast was a stand-out starter and the fillet steak Cantonese was the stand out main. It was a £££/££££ price range but it was a exam celebration. I would recommend it and go again.

Came here yesterday on the off chance getting a table which we luckily manage to get one for 1& 1/2 hours. ( as they were fully booked ) First impression decor was stunning, modern & tasteful. Staff smiling and friendly upon arrival. (which is so important in the restaurant game) We were seated and offered drinks within 5 minutes. We ordered a soup each and then went for the combo for 2. Myself, I don’t particularly like Chinese food, but honestly, it was just impressively stunning. From presentation, to taste, to even the food being served HOT! We had taken the mains home as there was just no way we could of eaten this as well. The 10%service charge should be optional on the bill as I would much prefer my choice in Service Tips. However, for a place like this on our door step is fantastic and it’s crazy that 4 years later we’ve only just discovered it. We cannot wait to get back and dine with you. 🥂

Our favourite local Chinese restaurant in terms of quality of food, but also a nice ambience to the restaurant. A little pricier than some, but the food really is worth it and is always served piping hot. Never had a disappointing meal here, wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Went there for a birthday meal for my daughter. Was temperature checked when we went in so good safety there. Nicely seated and the table was spacious enough for us all. One of us had an egg intolerance so the waiter stated there may be egg products in some items on the menu. He went further and asked the chef if there were any other products that had egg in them. The waiter listed them all to us and advised best dishes for what we could have. His service skills were very good with us. Food was fresh hot and tasty. Especially tasty was the firecracker chicken if you like a bit of spice. A lovely clean place. Its not the cheapest place but quality wise it was worth it. We will be going again.

Food is always very nice. Service is good, staff and friendly and polite. I've had some chicken and some king prawn dishes and the quality of the ingredients has always been great. My father recently had a beef dish which he thought was a little tough but others than that one dish we have never had any complaints!! A little more pricey than the usual takeaway but a great treat option.

This should be a 5 star because of the food. The food was fantastic but unfortunately the service let it down. We felt a bit pressured and rushed when ordering. Im assuming the reason for this was because it was a busy Saturday night. The real dis appreciation came when the bill arrived. We asked for the extortionate service charge to be removed from the bill even though we was willing to leave a tip! Hopefully that went to the staff but very doubtful. After the service charge was taken off the bill was put back on the table with lets say an aggressive manor. Would i return. Yes for food but if the service was the same as tonight i won't be bothering at all

Visited last night ( Monday Night). Food fantastic. Couldn't fault a thing . Staff really pleasant to. Only gripe is the added service charge. The place was very quiet. 3 of us on the bill. I could understand a large party and the place being busy but to charge service charge on a quiet Monday night was a bit to much . Think this will put people off.

Just had a takeaway meal, its the first time we've been. Absolutely beautiful, squid, peking ribs, sweet and sour pork and fillet steak in a teriyaki sauce. The food is second to none. This place is equal to any resteraunt in Manchester if not better, looking forward to eating in.

What a fantastic restaurant the staff are fabulous we came from Birmingham to share a friends special birthday and I can say I've never been to such a beautiful place meal was outstanding there where 14 of us and meals came together and where hot. Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for somewhere to celebrate this is your resturant Then there was a party of 4 of us that had been waiting for a taxi for half hour and the manager asked us if we would like a lift back to our hotel such a lovely and caring man thank you.

The food is amazing, decently priced, good service. I choose the belly pork for my main and it wasnt available so one of the waiters suggested another dish and it was really nice and i was glad i tried his recommendation. Thanks Lizhi for the great meal and service i would definitely recommend people try.

This restaurant needs to be transparent with their prices and service charges. Nowhere to be found on their website, possibly to be found somewhere in the restaurant but by then you’re already booked in. Lovely restaurant, lovely food, service wasn’t great,it was ok. Staff are nice enough but the big bugbear IS the 10% service charge on all food AND drinks. Drinks are not cheap and neither is the food . I know service charge isn’t compulsory but for me it’s extremely cheeky to be asking to be tipped. It would be nice if the restaurant responded as to why they feel it’s appropriate to put this on your bill without asking and not forewarning that they do this. I think it’s rude. If it makes me cross then I should think it may be the same for others.🤔 would use this restaurant more but that charge puts me off.
