Finally we managed to get a table and it was absolutely worth the wait. Whilst it is expensive we have been to Michelin starred places before and honestly this was up there with the best. From the fully open kitchen to the staff who each served the course they put together to the delicious food. Melt in your mouth sourdough bread, delicious seafood and the last meat course which was a taste sensation. So so proud to say we have this on our door step.

Came here for Easter weekend as a treat with my girlfriend and we were indeed treated. Every aspect from the small things, like having our coats taken at the door, to the sheer passion and drive every member of staff has for their profession. English doesn’t have the words to describe the food but the place has a Michelin Star for a reason and deserves it fully, I want to shower praise on it but it’s left me speechless and I wouldn’t want to spoil it anyways. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and was catered for with the themes and tastes remaining as on point for her as they were for me and the wine pairing was perfect. The place is inspiring to experience, you owe it to yourself to go even though it’s pricey. With that being said the value is there, if I’d known what I was getting into then I wouldn’t have blinked at the price

Absolutely incredible experience here. This is a small restaurant but the style is minimalist with and open but quiet kitchen. The service is impeccable with everyone including chefs serving, clearing and explaining the dishes. I came in quite blind to the tasting menu and was pleasantly blown away. The photos do not do the justices of the combination of ingredients that will leave your mouth watering. This is a place that is special and you’ll have a memorable time here.

Just a fantastic experience. I was apprehensive about the price but this was a better experience (and better value) than most 2 and 3 Michelin star restaurants I’ve eaten at. Everything feels so finessed, from the pace of the courses to the ambience of the restaurant to the delightful service and, of course, the food! You feel really close to the chefs and the kitchen which really adds to the whole experience

Just been today for lunchtime service, celebrating 25th wedding anniversary & were looking forward to this.......and we were not disappointed, absolutely fantastic food, atmosphere and service. Not stuffy and was lovely to see the kitchen so close & the brilliant team work. Was also so great to have the chefs bringing the food to your table, including the Chef Patron himself & explaining the ingredients & how they'd been prepared.....a magical experience & we will definitely recommend & go back, though with their waiting list that could be a bit of a wait.

Absolutely blown away. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and fantastic wine pairings. If you can afford it then definitely get the wine flight

Get here soon before it gets the second (or third) Michelin star! Exciting, ambitious food that is truly at the cutting edge. If you want to tastes flavours you've never experienced before, of unrivalled depth of any other restaurant in central Manchester, then Mana is a must visit.

Absolutely delicious, you can see passion in every member of staff, and that directly translates to the food they serve. Cannot wait to come back again

They do lobster rolls and burger takeouts during the pandemic. Food is yummy, menu is well-curated. Staffs are friendly, no complains really! I’d prefer my bun a little softer, instead of potato bun which I find quite rough (maybe works out for burger) could use something rich & buttery like Japanese shokupan, or soft rye? A little fusion, but that’s just my personal opinion.
Went there last week with my partner for whole lobsters & planned a picnic. The wind blew my drink away as we were sitting at an open area nearby my restaurant. Iced Matcha could be a little less sweet without overpowering the sorrel juice and matcha’s profile.
Overall great! would return for their tasting menu.

It was an incredible experience. They take care of even the smallest detail, each component of their staff gives an exquisite customer service. A gastronomic journey that fascinates you from start to finish. Surprising and innovative. Great quality and care of all the dishes. 100% recommended pairing, with real experts. They feel passion for what they do. It is essential to go if you are looking for a unique experience.
Chef Simon Martin has created some amazing dishes, and you can understand why they got a Michelin star.
Congratulations.

Stunning! Every single course was a masterpiece, the wine perfectly paired and the staff were exceptional in their attentiveness. I have been to several Michelin starred restaurants, but never had an experience where each dish was so exquisitely balanced. This was a meal that I will think about for a long time, and dream about returning when the new season menu comes about.
D. M.
Amazing experience! You can tell why they are a Michelin starred restaurant!

The food at Mana is technically astonishing, wonderfully inventive, and absolutely delicious. It is, by some way, the finest meal we’ve eaten in Manchester, and better than any other we’ve eaten in this country. Having the chef who cooked the food bring it over and explain it is terrific, as any questions about it can be fully answered. There were so many highlights, this review would just go on for too long, but it was such sublime cooking that it left our heads spinning. The place itself is gorgeous and the waiters are excellent.
Edit 21/12/19: Last night we had our 4th meal at Mana, and it's even better than before. It was the finest meal we've ever eaten, anywhere. Absolutely wonderful food and attention to detail. Can't wait to go back.

Enjoy some ultra fine dining experience at Mana in Manchester
This is fine dining at its best with a small venue (so you know you’re going to be well looked after) and high ceilings making it look that much grander. All the tables are placed with a view of the open kitchen where you can see the making of everything, in particular the attention taken to prepare each course. And boy, the courses keep coming so make sure you keep your belly empty if you happen to attend. The menu at Mana changes with the seasons and everything is sourced from within the British Isles, and the items were all a lovely surprise. And this restaurant is a perfect surprise date for treating that someone special (unless you have the money, then treat many more)
The head chef Simon Martin has created some amazing dishes, and you can understand why they’re up for a Michelin star.
To begin with, we were provided with a mushroom broth that was really nice and warmed the stomach nicely. It makes you feel at ease and get all cosy for the many more courses that are to come.
Then, we were seated at our table and the courses came;
-Black Garlic Tapioca Cracker - The first bite isn’t much, and then you realise you’re already onto the second piece and the flavours are flowing. So moreish that you wish you had more at that point and then are grateful you didn’t have more when you’re on item #9
-English Tostada - Or as we like to call it, the flower starter. Thankfully, the chefs pop over to describe the items and is really helpful to show you which bit you are to eat. We liked this creme-fraiche and pesto filled cracker topped with flowers and yup, the flowers were edible
-Monkfish Liver Pie - To put it simply, it was fishy but as it was small and grated, it wasn’t too overpowering. It was so cute that you feel wrong eating it, but enjoy it anyway
-Langoustine, Cured Egg Yolks & Spruce - Or as we like to call it, the carrot looking thing and put simply it was a prawn with egg yolk to pull off a stick and was all smoked
-Oyster Wasabi & Peas - The two bites are the perfect amount and had a tangy outside
-Beetroot, Tartare, Potat, Oxalis - Or as we like to call it, the beetroot basket and the description of this was immense with apparently having gone through multiple frozen to dehydrating processes. The potato basket was good with the beetroot sauce providing a nice touch (& a flavour we recognised)
-Yakitori Eel & Roasted Yeast - We’ve never had eel before and probably wouldn’t mind having it again if it was made like this Japanese style cooked concoction. It was really nice with a blueberry, vinegar sauce
Banks Tomato, Broad beans, Elderflower & Caviar - Cannot remember what this tasted like, but we do remember the plate was clean at the end of this course
-Charred Onions, Kombu & Koji - Yummy, caramelised onions and who knew we could enjoy this as much as we did
Sourdough Bread & Butter - Soo soft and apparently the butter is made from a few select cows in Guernsey. All we’ll say is that it’s yummy
-Chawanmushi - By this point, we were probably nodding off slightly and believe this was a bit fishy. As far as we remember, one of us liked it and the other didn’t
-Squash baked in Seaweed & Artichoke Sauce - The seaweed made it salty and we didn’t mind
Then onto the sweet endings
-Conference Pear, Sheep’s milk mousse , Sorrel - The warm pear is an acquired taste with matcha snow on top. It was sweet, but not sickly sweet
-Grilled Rose Ice Cream & Caramelised Salt - Or as we like to call it, the reindeer lollies. These were the favourite item and was the perfect ending
If you want to treat someone to a culinary adventure, then look no further and head to Mana - book in advance
These were some amazing dishes and we can’t wait to try it out again in another season when the menu changes.

Absolutely fantastic. Every single course was a surprise and was amazing in a different way, but the biggest positive was the staff, who were very friendly and attentive, and they really knew their stuff. I guess the downside is the price - it is expensive - but in my opinion you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely world class. The other downside is that I would love to eat a lot of the courses independently as full sized mains...
It's the kind of place where I am excited to go again because the menu changes seasonally and I really want to see what else they can do.
P. G.
Good food, but to me was more gimmicky than I normally go for. Solid, but not wow. When I visited, the wine list was also under whelming. Not in the top 5 in Manchester.
M. S.
Very very good food. We had the tasting menu last night, winter themed, with the wine flight. One course was better than the next with all fifteen being excellent. The wines were also unique and delicious. My wife and I could see the chef's roots in Noma but both felt this was better than Noma.
S. C.
Walks the line between incredible and ridiculous. Plus points: Some simply superb dishes, the kale was like nothing I've had before. The wine pairings were excellent especially the Chardonnay which you have to taste to believe one could taste so good. The staff are friendly and informative.
Negatives: we only received 12 of the 16 courses advertised. Presentation of food not quite on point. Cutlery for some dishes made it impossible to eat (the wooden spoon for scallops was ridiculous). The price didn't feel truly a reflection of the cost of incrediants.
Perhaps a few details to iron out before that Michelin star finally makes its way to Manchester.

Had a really great meal at Mana. I can't decide between the cabbage leaf successfully pretending to be a ribeye steak, or the chocolate spread on brioche/croissant hybrid, which melted me so much I thought I was going to ooze off my chair into a puddle on the restaurant floor.

Sumptuous yet down to earth high end dining. Beautiful start to finish attention to detail and original flavours all centered around fermenting, earthiness and senses. Be prepared to be astounded with flavour combinations you'd never think of. Some of the mouthful courses are more than one bite. Can't fault this place. Need to book months in advance.

One of the best meals we've ever had, if not the best. A lot of thought and effort went into the food and it showed. Worthy of it's Michelin star.
S. O.
Of course its five stars but its not cheap and a big price rise from previously which makes me think they are heading out of price range of many people . We would suggest a bottle of wine rather than wine pairing but its great fun and a culinary experience

Fantastic food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Food for the adventurous.

What an incredible experience here at Mana. We've been in Manchester less than a week, and to be able to experience food prepared and served like this was fantastic.
We loved the way the kitchen and dining room are a seamless extension of each other, with a young kitchen brigade able to share their love of cooking and preparation with the diners as they described enthusiastically the dishes they had lovingly prepared.
The food was quite astonishing, and long may this restaurant and its ambitious chef and team continue to pursue their love of food.
A must recommend 5 stars

I don't know how this place is worth anything less than 5 stars!
I will be the first to say I am more comfortable eating a pub lunch than fine dining, but I will happily say this is the best meal/experience I have ever had!!! It's worth every penny, even if I could have had a weekend city break abroad for the same price.
Simon (Martin) personally made sure the fish courses were not too fishy (I'm not a fan of seafood but they champion British seafood so he wanted to show off what the UK has to offer, offering the vegetarian option based on my feedback). On top of that, the wine flight was perfectly matched.
What really made it for me was the bread sauce and bread course. After a duck and the best bread sauce I have ever tasted (I'm sure there is a fancier term for duck and bread sauce), I was given some more bread sauce and some amazing bread to mop up. So northern!!!!
Long story short. It's the most money I have ever spent on a lunch, but I would do it again (next year some time) without blinking.

Presentation and service was outstanding. 9/10 courses cooked to perfection. One undercooked scallop dish and every main dish was over salted. They use too much salt. The doughnuts to conclude, wonderful addition. We had the pescatarian menu. Music was a mixed bag, sometimes conversation was difficult to have

Having never been to a high end restaurant and thanks to a voucher from a family member we were excited about our reservation.
The whole experience from start to finish was perfection . The lunch time taster menu in flavour and presentation was sublime..
The wine pairing was amazing.
Our time there was worth every single penny and we will be saving up for the evening service.
Thank you to Mana for an unforgettable experience one that we didn't want to end.

Wonderful experience the minute you walk through the door. Immaculate setting and cleanliness, superb customer service and waiting staff.
The food is incredible and a place everyone should try at least once. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening and birthday celebration.

The attention to detail is second to none a phenomenal experience. It was a random gift experience that proved to be something very special…. A massive thank you to all the staff 😋👍
A. C.
Outstanding food, well designed layout inside (couldn't hear other conversations at our table), and real theatre watching the team at work. Worth the money for quality on show.

Best meal you can get for hundreds of miles. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave everything is cared for

My first experience as a friends birthday treat ordered the gourmet burgers to take out as still in lockdown
Picked up the order ( masked up)
Wow what a stylish restaurant & sparkly clean with a friendly warm welcome. The Gourmet burger Angus beef with so much flavour oozing
out was incredible. I can not wait to actually try this place.
O. J.
Delicious takeaway burger and drink - no dry beef, plastic cheese or squished bun here. Top notch burger with proper beef and real flavours!
Picking up the burger was a treat in itself; music pumping, chefs cooking, it was the best 10mins I've had for at least 6 months!!
R. M.
We had a beautiful meal last week which was our first time eating out since March. Staff were lovely, everything had been thought of in advance. It felt very safe with current restrictions.
The food is sublime. I can’t even pick a favourite course there were so many good ones.
P. W.
Our first time having a Michelin star dinner and boy did it deliver! My concern going in was that I'd be hungry afterward, but both of us found ourselves actually struggling for stomach space for the last few courses. Really appreciated that each course was delivered with an instruction on best way to consume it as well and that Mana cater to vegetarian and pescatarian diets. As my friend said " I didn't even know food could be that good". Highly recommend!
C. G.
My partner and I were lucky enough to visit Mana on their first service after being awarded the coveted Michelin star. We were not disappointed. The food was out of this world, every single dish was a delight. For someone who doesn't really eat seafood it was a surprise to find my two favourite dishes to be the langoustine tails and the eel. The provenance and preparation of each dish explained at the table by the chefs who cooked and served it. All the staff were very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. Fantastic to see a young team all achieving and long may it continue. Michelin star well deserved.
Thanks to all at Mana for a fantastic evening.
V. A.
Very first time that I had the privilege to eat at a Michelin Star restaurant and it was so wonderful, I'll never forget it. The food was cooked right in front of us, it was smelling delicious and tasted even better. Thank you to the staff to also make us feel so welcome!
J. J.
I was very excited to be trying Mana for myself after reading the excellent reviews, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed, and the staff were very attentive.
Whilst we were deciding on our initial drinks in the bar/reception area we were presented with delicious bar snacks, which were far from peanuts or a packet of crisps! Not long after we were seated at our table where the wine and drinks menu was explained and recommendations were suggested. The head chef, Simon introduced himself and checked with us regarding allergies, which I thought was a nice touch.
Each course was explained to us by each chef and told us where the food was sourced. Whilst I didn’t opt for the wine flight, the individual glasses of wine I had complimented the meal nicely. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted amazing!
The layout of the restaurant is open plan with an impressive décor and has the kitchen located in the centre of the restaurant, which was interesting and actually enjoyable to see the team completing intricate work on each dish.
An overall very enjoyable experience, and highly recommended!

Even though the food was prepared, instructions were clear and precise we still could not fully appreciate what you do. You are artists who do not receive the praise you deserve for your ideas and flare. You made our New Year very special and unique and we applaud you. highly recommend this place
A. P.
What an exceptional and unexpected 5 star dining experience. Mana surpassed all expectations, in every way, and we were totally unprepared for the dining opportunity that awaited us.
We knew, having read other reviews before we booked, that we were in for a special and expensive evening of fine dining, therefore there were no surprises in this regard. This has made us bemused by other reviewers who have chosen to comment negatively in respect of the expense, since prices are clear for all to see on their website.
The concept of a restaurant purely offering a multiple course menu was something we had not come across before, so added to the uniqueness of the occasion. To have the opportunity to sample so many carefully and exquisitely prepared dishes was amazing.
The open plan, wonderfully uncluttered airy aspect was super; all tables were positioned significantly apart creating the effect of spacious, private dining. The ‘kitchen/preparation‘ area is sited within the body of the restaurant so dishes are prepared in full view of diners, which adds an entertaining aspect to the evening.
Each of the 18 dishes served to us was prepared and presented (under the watchful eye of Simon Martin) by one of the 8+ chefs, beautifully delivered with a full explanation of the food in front of us. Such was the creativity of the dishes, this was very necessary since we would never have known what we were eating!
Simon and his team has managed to achieve a totally unique comestible experience and one we would recommend without hesitation. Thanks to all for giving us a really memorable occasion, without doubt one that will surely be hard to surpass. It surely can’t be long before that prestigious Michelin star is deservedly awarded....
C. G.
Phenomenal restaurant and absolutely deserving of its new Michelin star.
The service is superb while maintaining a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Each course of the tasting menu is varied and has great theatre and presentation to it as well.
It's also lovely to see the Head Chef there at the service taking pride in everything that is coming out of the open kitchen.
The wines selection and wine flight are excellent too. I wish I could remember the sommeliers name as he was superb.
Highly recommended. If you can get a table it's worth the wait.
J.
Excellent service, food was amazing. Yes it costs a lot, but the prep that goes into the raw ingredients, then the prep when it arrives at Manna, then the skill all add up very quickly. Worth every penny. Oh and the lavender on the onion dish was genius.
P. W.
Very happy that Mana has brought a Michelin star back to Manc. Well done. The food was great but the visible frustration of some staff for messing up our dietary requirements made me feel uncomfortable for the whole meal. At this level it’s not acceptable that I should feel awkward for your mistakes. The guy waiting our table was brilliant and the food was creative and splendid.
T. C.
I've had a few tasting menu experiences and Mana is certainly in the top quartile of them.
Overall the menu was great and the service was exceptional.
The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there were maybe 2 courses which didn't blow me away like many of the others did and I feel at this price there should be no underwhelming dishes. The second issue, my friend ordered the beer pairing and while the beers were all excellent and well paired the actual quantity you get was not worth paying an additional £40. I appreciate its not really appropriate to have masses of beer with a menu like this but we felt £15 would be a more realistic add on for the beer pairing.
M. J.
My visit to Mana was my first ever experience of a fine dining restaurant. I was unsure of what to expect as I've always had the misconception that these types of restaurants are pretentious. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the moment my wife and I entered, we were made to feel welcome and relaxed.
The restaurant itself is impressively styled, and after learning the concept of the menu, the décor complimented the theme perfectly.
The experience begins from the moment you are greeted, and continues until you leave. The entire team are so attentive, that you literally don’t have to ask for anything. The attention to detail doesn't stop with the exquisitely presented food which is served to you personally by the chefs with military coordination. Every member of the team was so friendly, knowledgeable and each course came with an explanation as to what you are being served, where it was sourced and the concept behind it. I thought that was a really nice touch.
The food itself was captivating, with some of the dishes being a real surprise to your palate. The taster menu meant that I tried food that I had never tried before, and a handful of things that I would never have dreamed of eating. Saying that, every single course was absolutely delicious.
What more can I say; Mana is a must try experience.
A. l.
Food and service was excellent but chips on several pieces of crockery we were served including our coffee cup is not what you would expect from a high end restaurant!
K. J.
Amazing food and an amazing experience. Great staff also.
C. P.
Brilliant experience. Such knowledgeable and attentive staff. Very personal touch for a high end dining experience. Very relaxing, informal setting, where you feel you are dining alone with the staff and Chef's... it's that personal. Food is outstanding and varied, a great example of what can be achieved with British sourced food, but with a Japanese twist. Can't wait to find my next excuse to go back again!
J. A.
Wonderful experience!
D. M.
First time in a Michelin star restaurant. The service and food were outstanding and the wine pairings were even more so. Whilst expectedly pricey for me, I felt like I got good value considering the overall experience.
J. B.
The all experience has been amazing! Excellent tasting menu and wine paring. I had a chance to try ingredients I never tried in my life and I was hypnotised by watching the chefs working in the open kitchen. You can tell the head chef is coming from Noma as in his dishes he uses a lot of fermented ingredients. I will definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or a treat as it is pricey but it worth it every single penny. I can’t wait to go back and try the winter menu!
S. G.
It was excellent tasting food but we only received 12/16 courses as advertised on the website with no explanation. We also ordered the wine pairing and then only found out when we received the bill that it was only the premium wine pairing on offer that night. This added an extra £75 to the bill + service charge. Need more transparency with what's on offer especially when we are paying this much to eat here. Night ended on a sour note, hopefully this improves with time.
a. w.
They are doing takeaway burgers during the present lockdown and I might just have eaten the best burger in my life. As a night shift worker I ate it as a breakfast and it was definitely in my top ten breakfasts of all time.
B. O.
Well deserved Michelin star. The food is exquisite and very well presented. Wine pairing and service was excellent. The price point was reasonable for the quality of the food and service received. I would definitely recommend visiting.
J. R.
Mana is the absolutely world-class restaurant that Manchester has waited a long time for. We were lucky enough to receive a gift voucher for the full tasting menu with wine flight and were seriously impressed by both. Dishes were both inventive and delicious and Sam the sommelier has picked a really well thought out selection to compliment them brilliantly. Not somewhere you would go every week, but certainly Manchester's best restaurant.
M. Y.
Amazing experience.
M. M.
Friendly but not over personal service with largely innovative and tasty food creations. The only duds for me where the ‘Beef which tastes like beef’ and the Italian meringue dessert which were both a bit bland. Still a 5-star experience though.
Z. L.
We had the pleasure of secure a table just three days after the opening night. I had read the negative review so I had some reservations, but fortunately we had the chance to try for ourselves.
The environment is as tranquil and beautiful as the staff and the food they have the pleasure presenting.
If you’re hoping for the razzmatazz and peacocking of Manchester house, this place is possibly not for you. But for foodies looking for exceptional seasonal food with a real focus on both ingredients and presentation, you’ll love this place and the new experiences it delivers. Who would have believed it possible to make Kale and cabbage, taste like a prime Rib, with the same velvety finish? Superb...
A. N.
Amazing dinning experience, the sommelier was wonderful and the wine pairing perfect. Great to watch the team prep each course - food theatre at its best. Incredible-food and a brilliant experience
p. c.
The food was exquisite - every course - anything I said would fail to do it justice; the service was exemplary; the atmosphere was completely relaxed, in a beautiful and peaceful space; the wine pairing was totally delectable and faultless. Above all, this was a wonderful experience enjoyed by all, orchestrated by amazing people. Thank you.
H. A.
Just bloody wow! Wow. Wow. Wow. Do not pass go, do not collect $200 until you hit this place up in Manchester. Great addition to the new gentrified Annecoats. Seriously had the most amazing evening here. Can't wait to come back. Delicious food that I couldn't even imagine how they create these beautiful dishes to the amazing ambience and brilliant staff. Thanks guys.
M. J.
This wasn’t the usual meal out at a “good restaurant”!
For I... It was the best dining experience of my life in a beautiful and calm Scandi style restaurant.
Simon and his team of young talented chefs created the most delicious food that I have ever tasted. It was served to our table by the chiefs themselves while they explained about the intricacies of their creations. What also set the meal apart was the creative wine pairings from the very knowledgeable wine sommelier Sam. The wines were so delicious and on point with the flavours of the food.
Probably the best restaurant in Manchester, if not the UK. I can’t wait to return for a special occasion. Thank you MANA TEAM for a incredible foodie experience. 😋
M. C.
Tremendous; food, wine, service and atmosphere all really good.
J. M.
In a city that has way too many mediocre dining experiences, Mana is a much welcomed elevation from the Manchester norm. Beautifully presented tasting menu served in a tastefully understated dining room by friendly, professional staff. A very good restaurant.
D. K.
Eating lunch at Mana Manchester is a fantastic experience. Right from the start you're made welcome and invited to the bar to start with a drink and a mushroom broth. You're then taken to your table and this is where it all begins, each course is explained to you and if you have the Wine pairing which we did, the sommelier gives you details of each wine with were lovely. Many thanks to Phil and Sim plus everyone at Mana . See you in August for dinner.
C. H. (.
The most amazing dining experience. The staff were all talented and extremely attentive.
V. M.
I was very excited about my visit-but I was slightly disappointed in 13 course menu tasting - I liked only 3 things. Certainly extraordinary place and the menu, but I could not enjoyed it as the food was unpleasant. Love the design of the restaurant and atmosphere, but menu has to be changed in my opinion. Staff very professional and nice.
T. S.
Went to Mana with the family We were blown away by the whole experience. Each dish was exciting and executed to perfection, not all dishes hit every note for everyone, some of the dishes were simply brilliant - the bbq brassica and reindeer moss will live long in memory for their simplicity but brilliant flavour.
Mana has managed to build an atmosphere in their restaurant that creates an informal and relaxing tone - this is largely helped by the excellent staff. The service from all staff including chefs made the whole experience and utter delight.
Mana is unique for Manchester but also unique for the UK, you wont find many restaurants like this.

Went for a meal with friends to try this new restaurant in Ancoats. From arriving the leaving the staff were welcoming and attentive. Each course was explained and where the food was sourced. The wine flight complimented each course. The kitchen is open and in the centre of the restaurant which I thought might be noisey and stop us talking during the meal. But it was the opposite as it was interesting to watch them prepare the food and create each master piece and it wasn’t noisey at all. Simon the head chef came to talk to us and explained his vision for the restaurant. Good luck to him and all involved. 👍👍

Absolutely out of this world. Food is fabulous as is the service and the guys & girls working there. We love the fact they've not crammed loads of tables in like somewhere as rubbish as Nobu, and it's all about the dining experience and not what's best for them. Simply brilliant.

Opening soon - be excited for the most delicious food in Manchester, sources (and forridged) locally. Fabulous service from everyone who works there and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food!

Absolutely spectacular food and the dining experience itself. 👌 mind blowingly good.

Amazing food and brilliant switch up to a takeaway burger joint during lockdown.

Five stars is not enough for this place of foodie heaven / it's just everything you could wish for and more and I just wanted to stay for longer and if you look at my reviews I am quite harsh . It's well worth the money and the experience / really if you miss this place you don't like life / be good and stay safe

Finest Scandic food has come to Ancoats! Some really great surprises (I can't tell you why you get a steak knife) and some excellent apparently traditional dishes like eel and duck - all served by the chefs. I liked the opportunity to eat with my fingers the stunning decor and crockery really make it.

A great addition to Manchester gastronomy scene.

Wow. Mana is in a league of its own when compared to the other restaurants in Manchester. The food is mind blowing and the layout of the restaurant is cutting edge. I would be surprised if this place didn’t get another * at some point.

What an amazing experience. It was like a concert with food as the medium. Simon martin is a lovely guy and has this place set up brilliantly. If you can, go!

We had an amazing evening at Mana. The food was out of this world and the service impeccable and unobtrusive. Our favourite restaurant by far... the best in the north west!

Love the atmosphere. Scandinavian feel with innovative food and good service.
Note: drop the baked onions in kombucha. Didnt feel they were good enough for the menu.

Fantastic evening... food was amazing/ we were recommended a great wine that the sommelier was really passionate about and the staff were superb. A seriously slick set up... is a foodie gem
